ECEC

I got solar panels fitted by ECEC. I would highly recommend them. Great job by Wayne and the crew. Always punctual and talk you through every part of the job.

Gregor from ECEC was very thorough in his work and Lynda from the Admin Team was exceptionally responsive and helpful.

Not only did they turn up on time and do an awesome job, they also moved the tv bracket after securing to the wall in a place I didn’t like. Both very polite and just got on with the work. Will use again.

We have used ECEC to do electrical work on a number of occasions. We always find them pleasant and punctual and their work is always of the highest standard. Any problems are responded to in a timely manner and you always get the feeling they do the job as they would want it done in their own homes. Highly recommended.

We are very pleased with the service provided by ECEC for our solar and battery installation. From the first call they helped us understand exactly what we required and they kept us up to date throughout. All the guys were very helpful and done a great job. Highly recommended, thank you!

Best electrical contractor in Scotland, highly recommend!

I was in the midst of a full renovation of an old house when my inexperienced electrician (after making numerous mistakes) walked off the job. I was recommended ECEC and thankfully Wayne came to my rescue. Wayne did an amazing job at rectifying all the mistakes and finishing the whole house to an exceptional standard. Wayne has an incredible professional work ethic and was also a delight to have in my house…. my only regret is I didn’t find ECEC sooner!!!

Would highly recommend ECEC, on time, professional and made an excellent job of all the electrical work in my salon. Lighting looks amazing thanks again.

Lynda in office very helpful and good price for the fan installation. Gregor and his assistant came on time. Carried out the work in a timely manner. Gregor showed me and explained each process he was doing. Left the house tidy. Both very polite as were the 2 men who visited to prepare the hole for the fan. I would recommend this firm to my family and friends

Very happy with this company. Wayne fitted smoke and heat alarms as requested He was professional and courteous. Lynda was very efficient at organising visit twice, as I had to cancel at short notice because of Covid regulations. Very friendly and reassuring, she kept me well informed. Completion certificate sent by email.

Highly recommended this company. Reliable and professional service carried out. Great customer service.

Edinburgh City Electrical Contractors are on one of my clients and I have to admit they are the leaders in electrical contracting and couldn’t recommend us any more highly.

I have no dealings with this company, but it keeps asking for reviews. They are a reputable company as far as I know. That's all folks....

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ECEC. Easy to deal with, excellent work done quickly with no fuss. Thanks guys!

The ECEC team recently rewired my property, they were very realible and professional from start to finish in their work,I highly recommend ECEC and will definitely be contacting the team in the future for any more work in my property .

ECEC came out for a fairly small job when no-one else could be bothered! Promptly, efficiently and economically. I will certainly be using them in future for any work that will arrise.

Revamped the electrics and lighting in my kitchen. Great advice and ideas from the guys. Excellent work, competitive price and very reliable. Highly recommend.

Very prompt efficient service. I reduced by one star because I thought it was pretty expensive but as I needed someone urgently I was prepared to pay the extra. Overall impressed.

An extremely poor company. The company director is a greedy man who will happily step on anyone’s toes to get his way. The most unprofessional company I have ever came across. They are due my partner a lot of money and no response from the company director. I would avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!! COWBOY!!!!!

Wayne came to fit a new oven when our old one broke, during lockdown. He was calm, helpful and efficient. Thanks a lot

The team did a good job in difficult circumstances - old house with all kinds of issues. Also dealt with the lockdown and delayed access to the property very professionally.

Highly Recommend - great communication from Wayne, timely and tidy workmanship, polite and friendly guys. Won't hesitate to use them again in future. Thanks again.

Excellent service from start to finish, Linda is fantastic, friendly and always keeps you up to date of the situation and Dave the sparky was on site before we knew it job done. Thank you ECEC!!!!

Wayne was excellent at arranging appointment, David did a good job on the day and a Linda took care of the admin, all in all a good experience and professional good value job.

We have used ECEC on numerous jobs for wiring our boiler installations. These guys turn up when they say the will and always maintain a high level of workmanship, highly recommended! Mark The Edinburgh Boiler Company

We had a piece of equipment connected by a so called qualified electrician but it turned out to not be earthed correctly and could have killed someone. ECEC came out and had the whole thing sorted within about 30 mins and we are now confident that the equipment is safe to use. We will be using ECEC as our 1st choice from now on

Completed a full rewire for me in a flat that i let out. Turned up on time, completed on time, tidied up afterwards, price was great and guys easy to get along with and helped re some ideas for the property. Can't fault Edinburgh City Electrical Contractors.

From the point of making the appointment was kept informed via email. Engineer phoned on the day to say he was delayed by 20mins due to traffic so we knew he was en-route. Carried out a full test as requested. I would use ECEC again should I have the need to.

We were impressed with the skill, efficiency and the hard work of the two young men who carried out our electrical testing. Not only did they quietly work without disturbing our clientele but they explained what was needed, in layman's terms, to the office staff who were unfamiliar electrical terms, patiently answering their questions. Thank you.

Great service all round from Wayne and David at ECEC. As a first time customer, ECEC communicated effectively, turned up when they said they would and sorted out our electrical fault in a timely, professional, tidy and friendly manner.

Extremely happy with the service we received from start to finish. They arrived when they said they would, were polite and left a very neat job. More than happy to recommend this company and will be using them again in the future. Thank you ECEC

This is the second time I have used ECEC and I have recommended them to colleagues. ECEC are very helpful and professional and they are responsive to any specific requirements. This was a complete house rewire in a 1930's house with brick walls including outside security lights, socket and bathroom fan installation. It was a large project that was completed very efficiently with minimum disruption at a good price. I can recommend ECEC.

I was in touch yesterday a lighting issue in our bathroom. Wayne agreed to come over the next morning at 10am. He arrived exactly on time and was able to sort the problem and replace the fitting with spare parts he had in his van and didn’t take much time. He was also wearing PPE and checked beforehand to see if anyone in the home had covid symptoms etc which is reassuring to know he will be doing the same in other households.

I needed 3 electrical jobs done around the house - electrician showed up on time and had all the work done to a high standard and quickly. He was wearing a face covering and kept the 2 metres apart too. Will definetely use ECEC again. Happy to recommend them.

ECEC installed our dishwasher which involved adding sockets etc. They were very professional and when the job turned out to be more complex then initially anticipated it did not cause delays and the job was finished on time. Both the electrician as well as admin support were fantastic.Very happy with the whole process from start to finish!

Had an emergency as had no electricity, phoned up and had an electrician at me within an hour! The guys found the fault quickly and had me powered up within no time at all! When they arrived they introduced themselves and were very polite and looked professional! Would recommend to everyone that needs an electrician will definitely be using them for future projects!!

From helping to plan the positioning of the lights to set the required mood to selecting suitable lights fighting’s the service I received was outstanding. All work carried out in a timely and professional manner. Would definitely recommend ECEC.

We have used ECEC for a 3 years now across each of our different sites and facilities - from small office upgrades to complete warehouse installations. Wayne and his team are very proactive, well presented and quick to respond to requirements. We have found the team to be flexible and approachable on site, and the workmanship is excellent.

David did a great job putting up my outside light. A quick professional job. Very pleased with the overall service ECEC provided managing my job from start to finish. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing an Electrician.

Very happy with ECEC. From initial contact (special mention to Lynda in office keeping me informed) to quote being provided and works carried out was all done in a very efficient way. Job ended up being more complicated but no change to initial quote and option to price up further work, with no obligation, was given. Also plenty of free advice was given by the guys carrying out the works.
