Anglesey Solar and Electrical Ltd

Excellent company to deal with. We got quotes from several companies and Marc from Anglesey Solar came up with one which used the equipment we wanted at the best price. When we placed the order, he gave us an estimated start date of the end of August. The work started on 25 August and was completed on 27 August. The team were incredibly careful and efficient and the work was completed to a very high standard. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Many thanks to everyone.

Amazing service and professionalism from all involved. They have fitted 7kw Solar aray and large capacity Inverter and Batteries. Really informative easy to understand and will accommodate any request to consider when installing. Price was competitive for high end equipment. Work was completed in one go without coming and going in less than a week. High standards of workmen and left our property clean and tidy with a professional handover at the end. Very pleased and will be recommending Anglesey Solar to others. Wedi derbyn gwasanaeth Cymraeg trwy gydol y broses hefyd. Diolch yn fawr iawn

After talking with other companies we contacted Anglesey Solar for our Solar panel installation we are delighted with the result ! Thanks to Marc and his team from initial visit and plan to completion we found them honest and straightforward gave a very competitive quote for the 18 panel Sig Energy system explaining clearly so we understood all aspects of the job. The installation was carried out professionally without fuss, left clean and tidy

Excellent service from start to finish. Great company and would highly recommend.

Anglesey Solar and Electrical have always provided a first class, reliable service at Plas Coch Llanberis. They understand our business needs, where items are business critical and provide prompt, quality and tidy services. First rate advice from the team on key purchases and installations such as our EV charger.

Excellent service from start to finish. Nothing was too much, went the extra mile to ensure best possible quality.

A great experience from beginning to end. We had solar panels installed in-roof on a newly built garage that was later connected to battery storage, and our old mains supply. All the staff were friendly approachable and informative. They took the time to explain what was required so there were no hidden surprises once the garage build was complete. This meant we were able to plan ducting and other groundworks before completion. Since installation and commissioning three months ago, we are impressed with the efficiency and ease of operation. They have returned to make small modifications when requested with their usual professional approach. If, like me, you are unaware of how good operating solar panels can be, call these guys who will be able to answer all your questions professionally, clearly and practically. I am busy recommending them to all my friends and family.

Anglesey Solar have just installed the second panels and battery system on my properties. I cannot recommend their pre and post service. The installations have been fuss free, tidy and professional and work fantastically with all information available on my phone app.

Absolutely brilliant experience with Anglesey Solar and Electrical. Marc was incredibly responsive and helped design a system that genuinely suited our needs, taking the time to explain everything clearly along the way. The installation team were excellent too — professional, tidy, and hardworking — and managed to get the whole system installed and up and running in just 2 days. Really happy with the result and would happily recommend them.

Looked at national providers and they certainly couldn't provide the service, local knowledge or assurance of Anglesey Solar and particularly Marc. All employees were very professional. They worked hard through poor weather and even came on a Sunday to get the job done. We had two teething problems and these were rectified on site within an hour each time. Added a car charger mid job with no hassle. Unreservedly recommend. 5.5kw inverter, 10 KW battery and 16x 500w panels.

Fantastic service from this local company. Explained everything in layman's terms for those of us trying to our heads around the whole technology. Their flexible approach has allowed me to do the installation that works for me. Would highly recommend.

I very rarely leave reviews, overcome by the barrage of pleading companies wanting praise for simply doing their job! However, Anglesey Solar were so professional and knowledgeable that they deserve praise heaped upon them. After consulting rival firms (no names mentioned - but local!) I was extremely disenchanted with their level of response and lack of anything but the simplest technical knowledge of their own products, I contacted Anglesey Solar as they were certified installers of Tesla Powerwalls. Wow, what a difference! Marc came out personally (no remote satellite picture estimates) and displayed a thoroughly professional knowledge of his business, with no pressure to purchase. Installation was thorough and professional - from solar panels to the Powerwall - with polite and considerate tradesmen. The panels even enhanced the look of our roof and people have commented on how different they look to other products! The Powerwall itself has been superbly installed and very neat. Everyone from Marc to Callum, who commissioned the Powerwall, was brilliant. So, no hesitation in recommending Anglesey Solar to everyone. Five-Star review for five-star service. Thank you. Pete and Angela

I recently had work carried out by Anglesey Solar and Electrical and overall I’m very impressed. They installed 28 Aiko Neostar panels along with a Tesla Powerwall and Tesla Gateway, and from start to finish the team were professional, friendly, and clearly take pride in what they do. Marc was always on hand and kept me in the loop through the whole process and was fast to respond to any queries. The quality of the installation was also of a very high standard, and everything was completed at a fair and reasonable price. There are just a couple of areas where there’s room for improvement, mainly around the commissioning of the Tesla Powerwall (Which is renowned for being difficult!). A few small things were missed initially, such as Energy Exports not being enabled on the app and the wall connector showing separately from the Powerwall in the app. That said, I’m confident the team would have resolved these quickly if needed—I was able to sort it with a quick call to Tesla customer service. Another point worth noting is that an earth rod hadn’t been installed with the Powerwall, which I understand can sometimes be overlooked. Fortunately, I was aware enough to spot this, as it could potentially cause issues further down the line, particularly if operating off-grid. Overall though, these are relatively minor points in what was otherwise a superb experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anglesey Solar and Electrical—they deliver excellent workmanship and great value, and with a bit more attention to commissioning details, they’d be absolutely faultless.

I am very grateful for the excellent service provided to my parents. They consulted Anglesey Solar when they were having problems with an existing solar system (installed by a different solar power company). They were delighted by the swift identification of the problems and actions required to solve them. Marc’s friendly, professional manner was key to identification and management of faults, and we cannot recommend Anglesey Solar highly enough. Thank you!

I recently had solar panels installed by Anglesey Solar and was very pleased with the entire experience. Everything was well organised from start to finish, and Marc kept in regular contact to keep me updated throughout the process. The installation team were polite, friendly, and professional, and they worked efficiently to get the system up and running. Marc also took the time to clearly explain how everything works and showed me how to use the app to monitor how much energy the panels are generating. I would highly recommend Anglesey Solar.

Recently refurbed our house . Gareth and all the team were exceedingly professional, helpful, polite and knowledgeable . They did a complete rewire and installed solar and battery system .We don’t normally write reviews but think they thoroughly deserve our 5star rating .

We chose Anglesey Solar to do our solar/battery install after much research into a few different companies, both local and national. I wasn't pressured at all. All questions were answered fully and to my satisfaction. Suggestions of an Eddi to heat my water from excess solar was also implemented. Marc was my main contact throughout. Extremely pleasant and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. All the guys doing the physical install of the panels Andy, James, and the electrics, Callum and Glyn amongst others were very professional and friendly too. An extremely neat job well done. Totally put me at ease for such a big job being done on the house. Have since had a few little tweaks done and all carried out when they said they would be. I have found Anglesey Solar to be a fantastic local company and their ethos of ensuring the customer is always happy has always been adhered to in my experience. They have my full confidence and I will be using them again for other electrical work in the near future. Easy to contact when in need. No hesitations whatsoever in recommending Angley Solar. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Top service and the friendliness of the lads was outstanding, quick, efficient and great price for the quality of work, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for any electrical and solar installation! 😊

We had our Zappi EV charger installed by Anglesey Solar, from quote to install they were professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Nice to go with a local company as well rather than one of the national companies.

I rarely do reviews like this but made an exception on this occasion. Based on my experience with Marc Evans and his team, I have no hesitation at all in recommending Anglesey Solar for your solar panel/battery storage project. Customer service, technical knowledge, unbiased advice, attention to detail, listening to my requirements, team work, quality of the workmanship, installation and even more all score top marks from me. I had 15 roof panels, 2 Tesla Powerwall batteries and a car charger installed. The installation is discrete and tidy, the panels are located on one aspect of the roof, cleverly positioned despite the property being of a Dorma style. Cables are hidden and not dangling off the roof as we experienced in our previous property. When I made my initial inquiry about the installation, Marc made the effort to come out and inspect the property and discuss my requirements in person, no quotes based on google maps from a satellite shot. I knew on that visit that I would place the business with Anglesey Solar even before seeing the various options and costs that came later.

Glyn & Alex installed a new inverter and storage battery at our home in Cilcain. I was very impressed with their work and their knowledge of the system. I would highly recommend Anglesey Solar to all Keith

We've just had ten 500W solar panels fitted to our bungalow on Anglesey. From the first contact with Marc I knew we were dealing with a highly professional company. Marc discussed all the options with no sales pressure and answered all of my technical questions. The technical and financial information he provide in the quote was extensive and highly informative. The panel fitters were very professional, polite and hard-working; they even suggested replacing an old extractor roof vent with a new one that sits under one of the panels and fitted this for us. Callum the electrician was also highly professional (his electrical install is the neatest I've ever seen) and very helpful with setting up the system so we can monitor the solar input. We'll definitely use them again when we want to fit a battery. If you're considering a solar system I highly recommend Anglesey Solar. They're a local company who offer outstanding customer service at an affordable price. Get in touch with them - you won't be disappointed.

We have had our system in for just over 12 months now. We had several quotes and decided in the end to go with Anglesey solar. Marc went out of his way to provide us with as much information and advice as we needed to help us build and decide on the best system for our needs. The installation and set up to supply electricity back to the grid went really well. We’ve subsequently had a couple of minor technical issues, which Marc and his team have dealt with straight away. Nothing has been too much trouble. Having spoken with other people who have had systems from other suppliers we are really pleased we went with Anglesey Solar and would highly recommend them. Excellent from day one and great continuing customer service.

I recently had Anglesey Solar and Electrical install a new battery system coupled with a hybrid inverter, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the initial consultation to the final handover, the team delivered exceptional service and professionalism. A special thank you to Callum and Andy, who carried out the installation with great skill and attention to detail. They were punctual, courteous, and kept me informed throughout the process, ensuring everything was completed to the highest standard. Their workmanship and professionalism really stood out. I also want to acknowledge Marc, whose support before, during, and after the installation was invaluable. He provided clear guidance, answered all my questions promptly, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The quality of the installation and the level of customer care exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Anglesey Solar and Electrical to anyone looking for reliable renewable energy solutions. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic job! Diolch hogia

Great service. Very competent staff that know their trade. Would highly recommend Anglesey Solar to others.

Excellent service from start to finish, the workmanship and aftercare was 100% Thank you to Mark from Angkesey solar for looking after us. Highly recommend

I would like to thank Marc and his team who have been absolutely fantastic. We needed our solar panels taking off to have a new roof installed. There were no problems at all and everything went smoothly.Great communication throughout and great price. I would highly recommend ASE Thank you Marc and team

My solar installation by Anglesey Solar was professional and efficient, with excellent guidance and information. Thank you.

The installation was done quickly and efficiently.Marc Evans was very helpful from the beginning. He was really good to come to sort out the export for us because we wouldn’t have known what to do.

Anglesey Solar helped us out today- we were in the process of being scammed by another company who were very insistent in telling us our inverter was not working and that it would have to be replaced in the next 24 hours. Mark from Anglesey Solar came and realised that they had switched the solar off !! Mark then kindly checked the system for us. When we next have a problem with the system we will not hesitate in contacting Anglesey Solar. Their help and professionalism today was invaluable. Many thanks.

We've just had 28 panels and 18Kw of batteries installed by Anglesey Solar and we can't commend them highly enough. From survey and planning, through to installation and support in the first few days of the system being on, the level of customer service has been 100% throughout. We were previously let down by another firm in the planning stage, but Marc and the wider team came through, even though we added in the complexity of living in SHROPSHIRE. These were long days for him and his colleagues but they arrived with a smile and only left when all questions and matters had been resolved. Genuinely, thank you so much. We're delighted at how the install looks on our home.

First class service from Mark. Very patient with someone who isn’t too IT literate. Set the system up, explained everything to me and got me up and running. Very professional outfit. Thank you very much.

AS&E installed a Sigenergy solar system comprising of a battery, panels and EV charger. The process was flawless from start to finish. Marc and the rest of the team were on top of all the detail throughout. The install team were great and left absolutely no mess behind when they left. We ‘donated’ some old panels which AS&E quickly put to use in a community project. I’d highly recommend AS&E and will use them for other electrical projects in the future.

Fantastic experience with Anglesey Solar. Marc and the team we extremely professional and efficient. would highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Anglesey Solar. Marc and the instal team were helpful throughout and the system has been working perfectly.

From initial contact, to final installation, altogether an excellent experience.

Fantastic service from beginning to end. Very tidy job, left the place clean and always available for advice

Integrated Roof Solar Panels installed with Battery Storage and Car Charger installed. Highly recommend Anglesey Solar and Electrical.

14kw solar/38kw battery: Good communication and understanding of what was required. Clear pricing and swift install made this a really easy company to do business with. Will be back to them for my next upgrade when the time comes

Polite, informative, competitive, efficient, tidy,

Quality professionalism from start to finish. The team was punctual, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. They took the time to explain the entire process. The technicians worked effectively and left everything spotless. Highly recommended for anyone looking to buy solar panels. Diolch yn fawr

We have had solar panels and batteries installed at our property by Anglesey Solar. The installation was done from start to finish efficiently and professionally. Marc was my first point of contact and he took the time to listen to what I was wanting from the system and gave me options on what would be best for us. The team that installed the panels worked very hard to get the job done, they were polite and respectful of my property at all times. Glyn the electrician was also very good, the installation of all the electric’s is neat and tidy and he explained everything after it was all up and running. I would and will be recommending Anglesey Solar to anyone who is thinking of getting Solar Panels installed at their property. Thanks to all involved with my installation it was a pleasure to meet all of you. Thanks Chris & Ann Bell

Very pleased with my solar panels.everything tidy after completion.

Gwasanaeth ardderchog o'r cychwyn cyntaf, pan nes i drafod y broblem gyda'n system PV dros y ffôn hefo Marc, i'r eiliad olaf pan ddarganfuwyd y broblem gan Glyn a'i atgyweirio'n syth. Gwasanaeth proffesiynol a chyfeillgar heb ei ail. An excellent service from the outset. I contacted Marc over the phone to explain the problem with our PV system then Glyn arrived and was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem straight away. A fast, friendly and professional service.

Brilliant service, installed solar panels and batteries. Efficient and done when it was scheduled. Mark helped me to sort out how to get the best from my electricity account too. Highly recommended

Gwasanaeth gwych a chyflym gan Marc - ateb ein problem yn broffesiiynol a di- lol. Speedy and excellent professional servce from Marc. Solved our problem quickly without any fuss. Buaswn yn argymell y cwmni hwn i unrhyw un! I would recommend this company to anyone. Diolch Marc a Kelly, mi oeddech yn wych!

I recommend Anglesey Solar and Electrical very highly. I would gladly work with them again. This is partly because they do all the expected stuff well - good communications, efficient handling of the paperwork, proactive in sorting out niggles, excellent workmanship that looks good and is robust. When Storm Darragh (Dec 24) ripped off our neighbour's roof, our panels were unharmed. It's great to work with people who deliver what you expect. But it's also because of the way they dealt with the inevitable problems that arose. In our case it was because the incredibly poor internet connectivity in our location made registering and initiating the tech harder. But this company went the extra mile and made sure that they solved the problem. They insisted that they would get it done, and at no extra cost. It's great to work with people who are so considerate and set such high standards.

Just had a faultless 12 panel system installed with batteries installed in Trearddur Bay. All up and running and performing well even though its winter.. Communication friendly and professional from start to finish, workmanship, cable routing and finish fantastic. Highly recommendable, thanks everyone!

Competative quote, work carried out tidy, on time with excellent staff and easy to contact.

We’ve just had a twin solar array and battery storage supplied by Anglesey Solar and I can honestly say we were very pleased with the service. Marc was very thorough in assessing the site for the installation and gave us a range of options. The quote we received was very competitive, and we weren’t left waiting for communication from them, which wasn’t our experience with two other companies we had approached. The work was carried out promptly in line with the estimate we were given, and Glyn and his team were professional and efficient throughout. The equipment is smart and neatly installed, and everything was tidied up by the time the team were finished. We can honestly say we would recommend Anglesey Solar to anyone considering having PV and battery storage equipment installed

Fantastic service from Marc and the team, very professional, pleasant and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. Following the service we have received we will definitely recommend Anglesey Solar and Electrical to our friends and family.

We had solar panels and batteries fitted by Anglesey Solar earlier this year. We are really impressed with their work. The whole team are friendly and knowledgable. They are also very approachable to ask questions afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Ardderchog, 10 allan o 10. Marc yn wybodus a chyfeillgar. Y staff swyddfa yn glên a'r trydanwyr sy'n gwneud y gwaith yn daclus a chwrtais. Unrhyw gwestiwn neu broblem sy'n codi fisoedd wedi'r gwaith yn cael ei ddatrys yn syth. Diolch yn fawr Marc. Argymhellaf.

Installed an EV charger for us. Excellent service - quick and efficient. Particularly good customer service with quick replies to queries after the job

Anglesey Solar and Electrical LTD offered a competitive price for the supply and installation of a 13.5KW GivEnergy All-in-one and Gateway system to supplement our existing 4KW solar panel system. Marc provided excellent customer support throughout the authorization, pre and post installation process. Glyn and Caio provided us with a professional installation with minimal disruption to our home's electrical supply.

We had a fantastic experience with Anglesey Solar. They demonstrated exceptional punctuality and professionalism. Their attention to detail ensured that the work site was left clean and tidy. The entire process was seamless and their professionalism was evident at every stage. We highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a reliable and high quality solar installation.

Professional from the word go ! Fitted our EV charger ,very neat and efficient throughout. We had trouble linking it to our supplier and they came straight out ,rectified the problem Straight away ! Thank you Anglesey Solar and Electrical …Mr S Ramsden

Marc at Anglesey Solar and Electrical was totally professional from our first phone call enquiring about electric car chargers, his first visit within the day of the call, quick follow up with pricing to the actual installation. The men that came to install the car charger were polite and professional. We had one or two issues to begin with but each time I rang the problem was dealt with immediately and politely with follow up visits promptly made. I would certainly recommend them.

When I looked for a GivEnergy installation my priority was to find an established Electrical Installation company in my local area. I chose Anglesey Solar and after a successful solar and battery install, 2 years down the line they are still supporting me and I can highly recommend them.

I am absolutely thrilled with the perfect installation of batteries to the Solar Panel system. Anglesey Solar were professional, extremely knowledgeable, Marc and Glyn were polite and so helpful. I totally recommend Anglesey Solar and will have them again if I need more batteries, Thank you.

Absolutely outstanding service for Clwb Rygbi Llangefni. From start to finish comms were excellent and amazing after care service. Would 110% recommend Anglesey Solar, awesome team to work with. Diolch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The company installed 17 solar panels and a storage battery in our new build property in Bethel, Gwynedd. Customer service is fantastic, all workers who have viaited the site have been very professional and the after care to ensure everything is working has been amazing.

From first contact with Anglesey Solar and the first meeting with Marc, I have received first class service. From the advice, designe, installation and commissioning. They were proffesional, reliable with the installation carried out to my satisfaction. Following installation, I had question, and Marc answered and gave me advice as required. My solar system which was installed about 18 months ago works as predicted and am pleased with the returns I have received by selling the excess energy back to the grid. To date my system of 11 panels has generated 2500kwh (units) exported to the grid. Also of course my electricity bill with mu day rate units saving by the use of the 10kw battery. Great company to deal with from helpful and friendly office staff to professional and tidy installers. Would have no hesitation in recommending Anglesey a solar.

I would highly recommend Anglesey Solar. Competitive quote and excellent and timely service. We had 12 solar panels and batteries fitted and even the after care in setting up the app, understanding our usage, and how to sell back to grid was all provided as part of the service.

We had solars installed at Clwb Rygbi Nant Conwy by Anglesey Solars, together with batteries. The installation was done efficiently and the process was fully explained to us from the outset. Due to our project being grant funded, we needed to go out to procurement and obtain 3 quotes, the Anglesey Solars cost was competitive. Would definitely recommend them!

It’s been around 4 years now since we had the solar PV panels and battery fitted by Anglesey Solar. The initial installation was during some general building work when we had the roof stripped for re-slating. We took the opportunity of having ‘in roof’ panels which worked really well. Initially we set up with one 5kW battery to store any excess electricity generated. We quickly discovered that in the summer, we were generating more than we were able to store and so ordered a second battery taking storage up to 10kW. Anglesey Solar were efficient, considerate and professional to deal with. We could not have asked for any more. In fact, we were so pleased with our system, It didn’t take much convincing for my mother to purchase a similar system and so we gave Anglesey Solar a call. As we have, she has seen her electricity consumed from the grid significantly fall since her panels and batteries were installed. If you are thinking of making the investment, all we can say is that it has paid off for us and we have no hesitation in recommending Anglesey Solar for the job. Tim Pochin Llithfaen Gwynedd

Anglesey Solar have just completed a solar installation for me and i have to say that I am very pleased with the whole experience quality of the work and the finished job Highly recommended! I had a recent issue when a new broadband router was fitted and I lost the monitoring feature from my phone and I was unable to resolve it myself However a phone call to Mark did the trick and he came down and sorted it in a few minutes Really good service and still working well after twelve months Highly recommended !!

Great service very professional and tidy

Over the moon with my FoxESS battery install! Marc and his team were polite, super efficient and really helpful. I'd definitely reccomend them!

Diolch o galon i Marc a’r tîm yn Anglesey Solar am osod ein paneli solar, batri a car charger - tîm gwybodus, trefnus a chwrtais. Wedi gweld gwahaniaeth yn barod yn y biliau trydan!

Excellent service from Marc and everyone at Anglesey Solar. Work was efficiently carried out on time and to a high standard. Would highly reccommend this firm.

Handled the PV quotation very professionally and did a very good installation. Extended the system twice more with additional batteries, again well carried out. After sales service and help very good. Would not hesitate to recommend these guys. If you use local professionals you will get a better service.

Anglesey solar installed a 20 kw solar panel system initially and then I was so pleased I installed another 30 kw system. Anglesey solar were very professional and installed both systems to a very high standard. They provided a very efficient service. Thanks to Marc and team.

Could not fault this company from start to finish. Attention to detail in initially assessing the property to ensure that the package they proposed was optimal and ideal for the lifestyle we live. Excellent installation with minimal disruption along the way. Quality Product which ticks all the boxes and does exactly what they said it would do. In addition to that if there are any queries / concerns during or after installation - they are answered and addressed quickly. A thoroughly professional company to deal with. I heartily recommend them if it’s a Solar Installation you are considering.

Marc gave good service from start to finish and was very responsive to all my questions, even after the installation. We opted for 14 panels over two roofs, and two batteries. Installation was prompt, and the guys did an efficient and tidy job. The app is addictive! It shows how much electricity is being generated, stored, used and exported, other info too. Would recommend.

Had solar panels and battery installed by Anglesey Solar last year. I contacted a few companies whilst considering the installation, and Anglesey Solar were by far the most honest and knowledgable company, and Marc explained everything in detail during the initial consultation. Installation work was completed professionally, tidy and timely. After service was great and when i had any questions or problems, Marc was always on hand to offer support. Overall very professional and reliable service from start to finish.

We were recommended Anglesey Solar and have to say I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them myself. We had a very good initial consultation which explained everything in detail, the installation was incredibly quick and efficient (despite the property being a bit challenging with very thick stone walls) and the end result has been brilliant. In the 18 months since the system was installed, the after sales service has been great. Overall a great experience from start to finish.

Had EV chargers fitted by Anglesey Solar and electrical at both our holiday lets. Great service- speedy, professional and a reasonable price

Excellent Service The solar and battery system designed and installed by Anglesey Solar has exceeded my expectations. Marc and Gareth are always on hand for any follow up questions I have had regarding getting the best out of the system and my electricity supplier. Highly recommend

I’m delighted with the service provided by Anglesey Solar for the installation of our EV charging point. From when I first emailed Marc to enquire, the service has been efficient, friendly and very quick. The survey took place a couple of days following first contact, the quote arrived the following day and installation the following week. I would thoroughly recommend Anglesey Solar to anyone looking for a first class service and they will be fitting Solar panels for us later this year.

Cwmni gwych i weithio efo nhw, wedi gosod nifer o systemau PV ar ran Ynni Ogwen. Wastad ar gael os oes unrhyw broblem yn codi. Criw clên i gyd. --------------------------- Excellent service, a good team, highly recommended.

Carried out work to high standard. Came when they said they would and always kept in contact as job progressed.

We can highly recommend Anglesey Solar and Electrical having had an electrical and network installation from them; they have been professional and reliable throughout the whole process and incredibly accommodating. Great company to deal with from helpful and friendly office staff to professional and tidy installers.

I have recently had work carried out by Anglesea solar and can honestly say this company is 10/10! I honestly can’t fault the service provided from start to finish. I have recently built a new build up the mountain with no mains electric, I now have electric thanks to Gareth and his amazing team! The quotation was very competitive. The team who installed the system were very polite and professional and kept the site immaculate from start to finish. I honesty can’t fault the work carried out and I am made up to have power generated by solar panels and storage batteries all thanks to these guys! I will be recommending your company to family and friends! Thank you again Gaz

From the Beginning Marc was on hand to keep us informed and what options we had. The install was painless and the work was very tidy. I would definitely recommend Anglesey Solar.

We had 4kw of PV panels and a 5.2kwh battery installed in early 2023. In the first 12 months, we generated 4200kwh of energy and used 3200kwh of that directly. Whilst sending 1000kwh back to the grid. But I had to install the system to my budget, rather than what these guys recommended. So over that time, I saved up and had a further 8.2kwh battery installed in Feb of 2024. It's completely transformed the system. We've reduced the amount we export a great deal and increased what we use on the home. Increasing the savings. Then we had some reasonable weather in the second half of April and I got my first real taste of what the expanded storage can achieve. From 8:30am on the 14th April, until around 4pm on the 30th April... Just over 15 days, or 367hrs. We ran the house, virtually off grid. In that entire time, we imported just 6kwh of electric. I calculated the savings this morning. We used 390kwh of electric in the home during April, with standing charges and VAT. That would have cost us about £126. Our electric bill was £38 inc all charges. A saving of around £88. That's before you add on what we exported, we get 15p/kwh for export and earned £13.93 from it. Add that to the £88 saved and our total savings for April 2024 on electric is about £101. We paid about £25 for electric for the entire month. If I had any advice to give... it's to get a solar & battery system if you can. I can't advise anyone to get a loan to do so, because the return on investment is 8-10yrs and the warranty on some of the equipment is 5yrs for inverter and 12yrs for batteries (at least the ones I have). But if you have the money already, it's a good investment. Listen to the installers advice on what you can have. I had a strict budget and couldn't afford at the time what they recommended, which was about 5.6kw of panels and a 9.5kwh battery. You don't have to go with what they say, but it's good advice. Take a look at what your avg consumption is. We'd just moved to a new home, so we had no idea. But I knew that on my previous 3 bed mid terrace. I used an avg of 300kwh a month. The new home is larger and detached, and is in the 450kwh a month range. In 2023, over the whole year, we generated an avg of 11kwh per day and sent an avg of 2.7kwh back to the grid each day. With the larger batteries, we'll be sending a lot less back to the grid on avg over the year, but that means bigger savings on your bills. At a cost of around £12000 for the original install and the extra battery. The return on that investment is about 9-10yrs. Maybe less, we are saving around £1000 a year on bills inc exports. Over the previous full 12 months (March 2023 to Feb 2024), over 50% of our imported electric was used between Nov-Feb (over 1200kwh) whilst April to Oct meant we imported just over 1100kwh. For a 4 bed detached house, with an estimated 5500kwh per year consumption rate (working from home, extra computers used a lot, plus all electric cooking), we only imported 2300kwh of that. With the expanded battery storage, in the first couple of months with it. I think our import rate will be more like 1500kwh for the year. When I booked to have the extra battery installed. They informed me, that it would incur VAT because of the way govt rules on VAT exemption worked for energy efficiency systems. It only applied to solar + battery, not just a battery. But then the rules were change in the new year. Anglesey solar got in touch to let me know that if I pushed the date of the install back a few weeks. I could save some £600 on the cost. So of course I said yes. They have always been polite, helpful and full of advice. The installers are efficient and friendly. They don't mind explaining things to some inquisitive like myself and deal with issues as quickly as they can. A huge thanks to everyone at Anglesey solar for the smooth installation process and competitive prices.

I have recently had Solar panels and a battery fitted by this Company and can’t recommend them highly enough. They were very competitively priced, very helpful in explaining and going through different options with me and the fitters themselves were very polite and professional. Great Company - thanks Anglesey Solar!

Absolutely delighted with our solar panels and battery. The whole experience was very good, but their expertise and timekeeping on the installation days really impressed us. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Company. Staff very polite, helpful and reliable. Turned up when they said they would, fitted the solar panels and batteries with no issues and cleaned up when they left. Followed up with setting up the monitoring App and technical advice. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent, really efficient service from the team. I can recommend them for quality, value, and communications. I had to delay due to building works and they accommodated this. I got some swift boxes in thanks to the North Wales Wildlife Trust initiative too!

We have just had a 12kW Sun-Synk system installed by Anglesey Solar at the Sailing Club in Y Felinheli with support from the Sports Council for Wales. The service has been first-rate, right from the start and the system is working really well. The panels have been very neatly installed on the roof and the whole installation looks very professional indeed. This project has been finished ahead of schedule and Anglesey Solar have been a pleasure to work with throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Thanks guys for a really good job.

Anglesey Solar have just completed the installation of panel and battery system for us and, from our experience so far, would thoroughly recommend them. Marc provided a detailed quotation within a couple of days of site visit and followed that up with progress following order placement. Although the original installation date had to be moved due to bad weather holding up other works, Marc kept us fully informed. To my mind that is a mark of a good company that values customer service. The installation team completed the job in three days despite some horrible weather. They were polite and helpful throughout and ensured no rubbish was left behind. Excellent.

Finally bit the bullet and committed to a solar installation. As ever I got a few quotes in and Anglesey Solar came in as a competitive supplier but more important they were on my doorstep should I ever need future assistance. Can't fault the job, great communication, easy to contact with quick response and a cracking bunch of professional tradesmen who were a pleasure to have on site. Very neat installation, and a tidy bunch of guys clearing up as they went. More importantly even with the inclement weather of February the system is performing well. Forget the national outfits, look after the local lads and I can guarantee they will look after you. Gwych!

We had a 78KW solar PV system installed in November 2023 in a rural location which endures extreme weather (very high winds). I Really enjoyed working with Anglesey Solar. The service was first class and the product supplied including workmanship was of the highest quality. I would really recommend using their service as they were easy to talk to, competitive with price and understood the clients needs. 5 out 5 - well done Gareth, Marc and the team👏👏👏

Absolutely fantastic company from start to finish. Marc gave us plenty of information and advice to get the right system for us (panels and batteries) with no pressure selling and time to think about it and he was very patient with all our questions - nothing too much trouble for him. The team that did the fitting were great, professional, friendly, tidy and quick and the office staff were always helpful and friendly. Already seen a big difference in our electricity bills. We would have no hesitation in recommending Anglesey Solar and have in fact done so to our neighbours who have also had Anglesey Solar install panels and batteries. Totally worth the 5 stars!!

Gareth fitted a solar system for us in 2011. We had our first issue this year, 12 years later. They quickly found the fault and replaced a part and we are up and running again. Competent and professional. Thank you Gareth.

Really happy with the service we received from Anglesey Solar. Very professional from start to finish. Great to see a company investing in the future with young and enthusiastic people who clearly enjoyed their work. Oh and the system is top notch too.👍

Absolutely brilliant experience from Anglesey Solar. Expert advice, intelligent, hardworking, polite and tidy installers. Excellent communication, continuing beyond installation. Can't fault and can recommend without reservation!!

This was my first Solar system purchase. I'd spoken to a few Solar sales people over the years and always had some doubt as to what I'd end up getting. A neighbour recommended Anglessey Solar and I can't be more happy. 8kw system, split across two roofs, 6kw battery and Eddi immersion control. High quality, looks great and its working really well. All the team were professional and focussed on delivering a quality product. What I liked most is that from sales, fitting, electricians, DNO etc are all carried out by the same team so fully repsonsible and no outsourcing. Any little changes that were required were therefore sorted really easily. Very easy to therefore recommend.

They fitted solar panels inc battery system at our home last September 2022. Turned up on the agreed date, very professional and friendly service from start to finish. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi dongle yesterday and they turned up same day to sort it out which reminded me… write a review they more than deserve it! Would thoroughly recommend Anglesey Solar, in fact ordered another system from them for the workplace recently, same great service again, Diolch.

Decided to take the plunge and have a Solar system installed (with Battery) Anglesey Solar were recommended to us by other reputable electricians. Very professional throughout, giving advice and guidance throughout the process. Would recommend this company to anyone. Being local helps. All costs upfront; no hidden costs. Fantastic service.

Fantastic company. Solar Panels are a great investment, but first time you do need expert advice delivered in simple to understand way. Anglesey Solar answered all my questions and I went ahead. The installation team were first class, friendly, polite, tidy and punctual. 2 years on I am so pleased with the PV / battery installation...it is saving us lots of money on our electricity bills and will pay for itself sooner than forecast. I do not hesitate to recommend Anglesey Solar to design and install PV and battery systems.

Recently had a full solar PV system with batteries installed by Anglesey Solar. Very knowledgeable and friendly service provided by Marc and the team. Really helped me through the whole process from selecting the right system, then installing it in a very professional manner and the after-sales support has been first class. Highly recommended!
