The system is installed in our light industrial premises and is 34kWhp from 68 off 500W panels. From proposal to installation and commissioning we were kept updated with great communications, the teams were managed well and we are very pleased with the final results. We had 2 Zappi EV vehicle chargers installed as well for charging from excess solar. The system is working very well indeed and beyond our expectations. Well done to Kembla and their teams.

Really pleased we chose Kembla they we recommended by my brother who had a solar panel and battery installation a couple of years ago. The representative Daniel came and visited our property took appropriate details and accessed our Solar panel/battery needs and electric car charger point installation. It’s been a year since Declan and the team at Kembla installed our 5.2kW system with 9.2kWh of battery storage. We had a few minor issues during our installation but everything was dealt with brilliantly by Declan. Their electrician, Stewart, was amazing throughout as were the roofers, scaffolders and the supporting staff in the office. Best of all, Kembla gave a great price for the whole system and installed a bespoke setup for us as we didn’t want the usual GivEnergy solution. The aftercare has been excellent with Declan coming to site when needed - you can’t always say the CEO of a busy company will personally visit you! A year later and our system is performing well, saving us plenty of money and reducing our carbon footprint. Definitely use Kembla for your solar projects, I’d recommend them to everyone.

Having spent a lot of time researching and obtaining quotes from larger energy suppliers, I finally spoke with Declan and decided immediately to proceed with Kembla. The service was more consultive and personal with the final proposal being much better suited to our needs and pricing was competitive compared to other quotes. I had a prompt installation scheduled in which started and ended on-time and stress free. The whole extended team of installers at Kembla are highly professional and personable and I am very pleased with the final result. I did a lot of research before I decided to go ahead with a solar installation. I had estimates from a few companies and judged them by their technical knowledge, installation history and finally recommendation and 'feel good' factor. Kembla were a stand out choice for me, but as a final check I asked them if I could contact one of their customers. I had a site visit to the customer and he confirmed what I'd already thought and so I placed the order. Installation was neat and pretty fast and apart from a couple of very minor hiccups, the system has performed as expected for the last 12 months. We chose dark panels so that the panels would not be conspicuous, (important to me and my neighbours); the connecting cable from the panel to the battery installation was done by cantenary, much neater than wall run cables. The installation has now been in operation exactly one year and has produced 5,498kwh from a 5.7kw almost south facing array - I’m rather pleased with that! I can thoroughly recommend Declan and his team at Kembla. A reliable, neat installation coupled with good advice and impeccable after sales service. You won’t do better….

Recommended by a friend when obtaining quotes, Kembla were not the cheapest however they listened to my concerns on me wanting a neat and tidy job. I had certain specifications on the routing of cables etc I wanted. I found them to be very professional and proactive in their work throughout. They regularly kept me up to date on work times and schedules. Declan and his team delivered everything promised and more. Regular communication and prompt times of work…. Outstanding service …. Needless to say you get what you pay for.

I had a solar panel and battery system installed just over a year ago. My house roof orientation is east west so I have seven panels facing east and seven facing west. The performance has exceeded my expectation. Since March 2023 up until January 2024 I have been credited with £524 by Octopus for the electricity I have exported to the grid. At the same time the panels and battery have also powered my home so my actual use of imported electricity has dropped dramatically. From May until September my actual bill for electricity is negligible. Octopus have recently introduced a rate called “intelligent octopus flux export” where they take over control of the whole system with the aim of ensuring the battery is fully charged by 4.00pm and they then discharge it to the grid between 4.00pm and 7.00pm earning you a premium export rate. Overall the system works well and if you want to do your bit for the environment and you can afford the initial outlay it’s worth the investment. Used Kembla for a 6kw 15 panel and battery system install. Dealt with Dan kept me informed every step of the way and the workmanship and contractors were excellent. Kembla are amazing and the new Givenergy all in one with Gateway is fantastic. I spent months looking for a good solar battery system and I was not disappointed, the installers arrived on time followed by the scaffolding erectors and roofers, all good lads and polite, backup from Sam and Jack directly from Kembla was excellent and commissioning by Givenergy was perfect. It is rare these days that a company exceeds your expectations but Kembla did. Everyone we dealt with was polite, knowledgeable and courteous. The electricians and roofers were all very professional and all in the Kembla office were efficient and timely. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to install a solar system.

I have had two solar systems fitted by Kembla. Firstly at my pharmacy, then I liked it so much that I got it installed at home as well. Both systems were installed quickly with very little disruption, the handover was well managed and the aftercare was excellent(I had an issue getting my SEG payments set up and Declan help me get them set up) The apps provided with the systems enable me to track my usage remotely and are easier to use than my smart meter for tracking my general usage as well as that produced by the panels and stored in the battery. Overall my energy usage has dropped significantly and they are on course to pay themselves back very quickly. I would thoroughly recommend Kembla as your solar system installer - take it from someone who liked it so much he got two!

Just had 17 panels bolted to rear of house roof, an inverter and 9.5kw battery fitted. Installed ahead of planned date all works well. Communications by email or phone is good and paperwork came quickly. Installation team were quick and neat took all rubbish away, they even replaced some of my roof tiles that were cracked. All done in a day.

What an informative, professional and responsive company. New PV array and batteries - all went super smooth and we optimised the system for the home. Electricians, roofers and the Kembla sales and project staff were excellent - could not ask for more. Highly recommend.

Kembla installed my Solar Edge system just over a year ago and its has been great since. I have had a few small niggles since the install but throughout the whole process Kembla always answered the phone, called me back and rectified the situation long after I paid my final invoice. It’s not all about the installation! I had 20 panels a 5kw hybrid inverter and 15kw of batteries installed a little over a year ago by a company based more than a 3 hours drive away from me. On Monday about 10am my inverter tripped, I dropped them a message and by 2pm they had arranged for an engineer to come out to me Tuesday morning. He quickly identified the issue, and actually noticed a couple of minor things that had been fine over the last year but (seen as he’s here and they don’t really want to have to come back again) spent the day titivating things up to current standards. Now yes, ideally this shouldn’t have happened at all but no one or thing is perfect and things go wrong but it’s how you deal with them that really makes a difference. Hats off and a personal recommendation to Kembla Ltd for their professionalism. P.s Huawei solar systems are fantastic

Declan and the Kembla team were fantastic from day 1! Declan came to our house for the initial consultation and took the time to advise and explain what it was all about even for my stupid questions! The system has been installed for 9 months now, has worked a treat (and any tiny snags dealt with quickly by Kembla), and having just moved to the Octopus Flux rate, we’re hoping to pay it all back with 6/7 years at the current rates. I cannot recommend them enough! So much so my parents have now used them as well.

Very happy with the installation and the products Kembla recommended. We had solar panels, battery storage and a car charger put in, everyone turned up when scheduled and did a good job. There was one slight issue identified after commissioning but it was dealt with promptly and everything has been working perfectly since, we are very happy.

Kembla installed our PV and battery system in June 2022. From the time we first spoke in March 2022 the service and attention to detail have been superb. Even now, 6 months later, Joe replies to texts or emails very quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this company.

Kembla Ltd are the nearest solar company and proved to be the right choice. Contacted them in June 2022 gave them the budget and asked for a in-roof installation of solar pv system with battery. They came back with a quote which was in line with my expectations that I had researched – Sadly delays in getting the battery and inverter due to shortages nationwide it was completed in October 2022 and I was kept well informed during this period. Installed over 2 days and has been working well, and then given a handover pack 28 days later with all the paper work with insurance and guarantees etc. I found Kembla Ltd a very Professional Company through out. I have nothing but praise and I found them customer focused, excellent communication via email, WhatsApp and phone. We had a stress free experience and would highly recommend them.

I had solar panels and battery installed by Kembla in November this year after ordering in mid July. Very happy with the work carried out, system works brilliantly and they did a nice tidy install. Really can't fault anything. Communication is also great and they respond to emails and calls quickly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install.

We had Kembla to install Solar PV with battery storage at our property earlier this year. I am very happy with everything from start to finish. The team are knowledgeable, helpful, and helped me to design a system that met my needs and included features that I wanted. The price was reasonable and the installation is very neat and tidy. After speaking to a few suppliers and recieveing a couple of quotes i decided to go with who i thought was most helpful, Kembla Ltd. I must admit i was fairly new to the technology at the start but with the help of Sam i quickly learnt what equipment and setup would suit our useage/home. We had a few delays with equipment which although frustrating is to be expected given the current energy crisis. Install day rolled around soon enough and Dan arrived promptly to start on the install, there was some issues with removing the tiles as each one was pinned some were cracking as they removed them but Dan drove to the nearest supplier (albeit 40 miles away) and picked up replacements to ensure the job run smoothly. The worksmanship inside was of the same high standard, neat and tidy. All round a great experience, i thought Kembla Ltd deserved some recognigtion and hopefully this will help others when searching for a reliable supplier.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Declan came out to undertake a survey and visit our property and was respectful of our house being a new build and us not wanting significant disruption to the fabric. Everything was explained in detail to make sure we were completely happy before we went ahead. The price quoted was competitive with others we had. We have had a 6kw PV system, GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter, 8.5kw GivEnergy battery and Zappi EV charger. The panels were carefully chosen to fit in closely with our existing dark roof and with the solar skirt fitted has left a professional finish to the panels. The electricians contracted by Kembla were also excellent and spent time and effort to achieve a professional and tidy installation. We have had the system working on our south facing roof over the summer and the performance and savings have been well worth while in the face of increasing energy costs. We would recommend Kembla and have overall been highly satisfied with the service received.

From initial consultation to instalment Joe was always helpful and responsive to all my questions. Instalment was done within a day after delivery of all the panels, batteries etc, very pleased with the guys who did it. Now have up and working 20 panels generating more electricity than we use so looking to get money back from the export to my energy provider. Great job thanks. Keith

My panels and storage were installed just over a week ago. Working brilliantly. I can't rate this team highly enough. No spin or waffle. Clear about the products and the suitability to my situation. Excellent in managing expectations and great at keeping in touch throughout. Both the scaffolding team and the installers were highly competent. What made it easier was they were polite, friendly and respectful. I'm pretty good at picking apart a process.... my red pen was redundant! If you're considering solar give them a call.

Superb experience from start to finish. Declan came round and did a proper survey and explained everything thoroughly to make sure we were completely happy before going ahead. Within a few weeks it was installed and commissioned including battery storage. The panels are pure black and look amazing (probably better than the roof itself). Nothing was too much trouble and the after sales service and support is second to none! If you are looking to get solar, Kembla are a highly reliable and excellent choice.

I'd been considering solar for a number of years but it didn't seem to stack up. Since the introduction of battery storage and the increase in energy costs I felt it was the right time. Think of your battery's like a water butt where you're storing water to use later when it's dry and no sign of rain. Simply put store your solar in the day and use it at night, any left over the grid will pay you for. Kembla are local to me and came recommended by a friend, I usually like to go this route. After Jack and Joe visited to check out my requirements and the roof orientation etc they sent me a quote within 24 hours for 3 solutions. I went with the middle quote where each panel works autonomously giving a reliable supply of energy. Here we are one month later, it took just one day to install, plus the hour or so previously to put up the scaffolding. The team are lovely guys who know there stuff. Dan the electrician was fantastic in laying out the system. You don't even lose power to the house during install, i assumed the powered would have to go off! It's late April as I write and I've been basically self sufficient in electricity every day. That includes a few loads of washing, running the dish washer and cooking two meals a day. I'm sure that won't be the case in December but with prices as they are free electrons are very appealing! Kembla are very reliable, knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks so much!

We did not really know what to expect when we expressed an interest in solar panels for our home, but from first contact, the survey by Declan, a comprehensive quotation detailing recommendations for the type of equipment, the battery vs non- battery options, pay back forecasts, through installation, commissioning, and post installation support, . . .all provided in a timely and efficient manner by Declan and his team at Kembla. We have been very pleased with the performance of the panels and associated equipment. Absolutely brilliant service would highly recommend, from my indecisiveness to multiple quotes Declan at kembla went out of his way to accommodate. His knowledge on the solar market was excellent but above all his communication keeping myself informed throughout. Hopefully I won’t need anything for the next 20 years, if I do I would not hesitate to use kembla again.

Big decision, glad we went with having solar power. Since being fitted, we have lived virtually off grid. The savings generated in the summer means the winter bills are more affordable. Kembla was a good choice for us, Declan is good and the people he uses are very good. Only 2 niggles came up, 1 was partly my lack of understanding. To combat this, Declan has introduced a tick list of responsibilities for Kembla and the customer. So the customer will know what their responsibilities are. The other niggle was the roofers that Kembla employed were a bit messy. Was not so bad for me as I went up on the scaffolding and cleared the rubbish myself. Declan got on to the business owner and had a word. Declan has been very good all the way through the process. Would recommend Kembla to anyone.
