It was a genuine pleasure working with Todd from Energy Concerns while gathering quotes for a solar project. Of the three companies I approached, he was the only one willing to provide the Nicholson flat roof mounting system, which I felt was an important aspect of the design. Todd was approachable and generous with his time, ensuring the plans were developed properly. He even joined video calls to review the design in detail and made thoughtful adjustments so that everything aligned with my requirements. At no point did I feel pressured to commit, and his advice always came across as measured and impartial. Although I decided to proceed with another installer, looking back I feel that may have been the wrong decision. Energy Concerns are a top rated company that I'd fully recommend. From Todd coming round for his technical knowledge to his brother Vince doing the install they couldn't be more helpful, polite and professional. The attention to detail Vince takes with the install I thought was to a level you'd only do in your own home, wires were neatly hidden and everything made good before leaving. We opted for the Sigenergy SigenStar system that Energy Concerns recommended, it was a little more pricey than other systems from different suppliers but now installed I see it was certainly worth going for the more advanced smart technology, it has so many options and features which I believe will future proof us for many years to come. We have just recently started exporting back to the grid (Energy Concerns did all the application and paperwork for that) and the Sigen AI mode is a treat to watch on the app to see how it makes use of the solar generated and stored battery energy. Todd has offered to be on hand for any future questions or advice I may need and I truly believe he will be there to help when that time comes. I recently had solar panels installed by energy concerns. From start to finish the support and service was excellent. Would give 10 stars if i could! I'm not going to get all technical with the review, don't get me wrong, the system is great, however the people experience is the bit i want to review. It's a great company to deal with and i am confident you will not be disappointed if you choose to deal with them. From start to finish, the service was exceptional; professional, friendly, and completely hassle-free. Todd and his team were fantastic to deal with. Todd is so knowledgeable and i felt so comfortable in knowing he was suggesting what would be right for me and had my best interests at heart. Todd, Steve & Lance were amazing. From the outset, Todd was very informative and explained the options to suit my requirements. This company uses a flashy software product to provide a very detailed quote, and their system kept me updated with each stage of the process from booking the scaffolding, scheduling the works and even provided the date when the rubbish & waste was collected. The quotation contained mini videos to explain each stage and component, which made it easier to understand. The attention to detail during the installation was outstanding. They removed my guttering to hide the main cable behind it, leaving a nice clean finish. Steve is meticulous with his wiring and made a nice, neat job of everything he did. Communication is everything and Todd was approachable both before and after the install. They fitted an 8.26kw system which has left me with no energy or EV bills, and I’m even left with a bit of change from selling back to the grid on sunnier days. These guys are the real deal, and I highly recommend them to anybody thinking of having a solar panel system.

Steve, Lance and Todd did a superb job on my solar panel installation. They installed 34 panels and a Sigenergy inverter and battery storage system. I contacted many companies for quotes, but Energy Concerns were the only ones who came to my property to assess the potential roof space so that they could maximise the system. All the other companies used the same online software and provided quotes remotely, despite asking them to pay a visit due to the non-standard layout and construction of the roofs. As a result, I've ended up with a much better system, and the cost per panel was cheaper than all of the other quotes too. The installation went smoothly. I’m extremely pleased with the installation of the Aiko solar panels, 8kWh Sigen battery, and 8kW inverter by Energy Concerns Ltd. Todd is highly knowledgeable about batteries, inverters, panels, and the entire installation process. The team began work exactly on schedule and worked through the extremely cold weather in January to complete the job. I’m particularly impressed with how the cabling (installed both externally on the house and internally in the garage) and all the equipment is positioned as discreetly as possible. After the installation, Todd also made sure that all the rubbish and scaffolding were removed promptly. The handover was seamless, with all documents organised into a single, easy-to-follow pack. Now, five weeks into using the system, the average electricity production has matched the original estimate perfectly. I used Energy Concerns to install 19 solar panels, 24kw batteries with 8kw inverter along with 19 Tigo’s on my house and i can say without doubt that this company are an extremely professional solar panel installation company led by Todd and his team of skilled electricians. I would have no hesitation on recommending this company to others for their solar panels installation whether it be business or home installations. Over the years, we've made detailed assessments of the real financial value of installing solar panels. In 2024, the costs are low enough, the export tariff is high enough, and the panels are efficient enough for break-even in six or seven years. In 2021, the break-even was more like 14 years. Todd at Energy Concerns gave us a competitive quote for the job. Other companies gave good prices, but Todd's was the one that got it right first time, that is he proposed the best equipment straight away. Todd answered questions by email and phone both quickly and accurately. He gave sound advice and he didn't oversell. He was straightforward and honest, and we felt we could trust his judgement. Todd also helped us to verify that the network (DNO) would accept the 6kW that we can provide from our roof. Our financial analysis told us that the simplest tariff, without batteries, would give the best level of profit, so we installed solar panels only. That analysis is specific to us, yours may be different, and batteries do have a place. We may install batteries in a few years, depending on costs. Installation was carried out brilliantly over two days. And we were being credited by Octopus within two weeks of installation, which is extremely quick. A month on and everything has worked well from the start, except for the unusual cloudiness of the weather. Even so, we've exported 3.5kWh per day on average in November, and reduced our consumption from the grid too. We'd recommend Energy Concerns without reservation.

He gave a competitive price - similar to the price offered by a group buying scheme operating for Leicester residents! (infact 200 pound cheaper!). Our install was one 8kwh battery, inverter, and 12 south facing solar panels. Also Todd was also good at managing a potential conflict with a neighbour about the solar wire running against our wall that faces our neighbour. He talked to them and their builder (who was building an extension). We didn’t really have to deal with anything.

Flexible and professional I had very specific requests for my solar installation, and Todd from Energy Concerns came up with the most practical option. He later accommodated some design changes without changing the quoted price. He was flexible enough to consider a further change in the plan on the day of installation even though he had to get some kit from London to do that. From the initial contact, Todd was friendly, knowlegable and very open to exploring the options available. Having been clear from the outset that his focus is on building a lasting business through providing good quality solar installations rather than competing on lowest price quotes, he was happy to spend time talking through the pros & cons of different panels, inverters and batteries and once he understood my priorities, suggested options that met the requirements, until we came to what seems like the optimum design. It was really surprising therefore, that of the three quotes I got from different companies, the one from Energy Concerns was not only the one with the best equipment specifications, it also had the lowest overall cost. When it came to the installation, Todd & Aaron were great, installing 16 Aiko 455W panels, a sigenstor inverter with battery & gateway, along with replacing the old fuse wired consumer unit, with a new RCBO based one in 3 days, even answering questions from our 4 year old, and they made it look really tidy too, routing cables so the whole thing looks like it belongs, rather than an add-on. I'm really happy with both the system & service I got from Energy Concerns... our electricity costs have dropped significantly, with either the panels, or stored battery power providing over 90% of our electricity use since the installation, and exporting more to the grid than we've pulled - and as a bonus, I wouldn't even have noticed the 15 minute local power outage during a thunderstorm yesterday if the app didn't have a record of it as the lights didn't even flicker when the UPS capability kicked in. Dealing with Todd and the team at Energy Concerns has been a pleasure, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering a home solar system.

Energy Concerns installed my solar pv system a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t fault them. Todd and Aaron were very polite and considerate and worked hard throughout the day. There were a few hiccups during the installation but everything was resolved and left as good as new on completion. The finished installation looks very neat (they had to work around existing water pipes), and it was clear Todd takes great pride in his work. I contacted Energy Concerns as I was specifically looking for the Sigen system and they were relatively local to me. When Todd sent me my proposal, he threw me a bit because he included an option to have panels installed on my back roof (almost north facing); I decided to go for it as it was a relatively small price increase. I am so pleased I did as they have been performing brilliantly and they help extend the amount of time the panels are generating during the day as they get the evening sun. On good days the back panels almost double my output after about midday! The aftercare has also been excellent. Todd is very responsive over WhatsApp and always answers my questions in a timely manner (I’m not sure I’ve ever waited for more than an hour or so for a response) - this has included late evenings too! Anything he is not sure about he has contacted Sigenergy support who also seem to respond very quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to invest in a solar pv system!

Hi Todd, I would like to thank you for your impeccable service and attention to detail during the installation of my solar power system. Equally important was how you were never pushy about selling one system over another, each time I came with a constraint you provided me with a solution to suit my requirements. This eventually led us to your recommendation of Sigenergy based system with Aiko solar panels. We had many challenging aspects, especially the different roof elevations but you were able to assure me with your technical knowledge. I am someone who needs to understand the product I am buying and why it is recommended, some installers don’t appreciate my questions however with you, I felt I could ask as many questions as I wanted and you provided me with a prompt response. All of this was before deciding to go with Energy Concerns LTD as my preferred installer. A thorough clean and preventative treatment was carried out, and a grid installed to keep pigeons out. Performance has greatly improved and the panels look like a new install. He has given great advice on how to improve performance even more. Not at all pushy, and has given a very fair price for adding a battery to the system. We've had solar panels and a house battery fitted by Todd and have had a brilliant experience from start to finish. When we were looking for quotes for a battery we had done a fair bit of research ourselves into what we wanted and brands of battery that looked good. Which meant we have had other 'salesmen' come round that couldn't answer our questions and knew less than we did. So Todd was a breath of fresh air when he could answer any questions we had about features of the battery, different types & the installation process. We were initially looking for just a battery but Todd suggested he price up for solar panels too as he thought we be surprised - and we did end up going for both so he was right! There was no pressure in the quoting process & it felt like a really good fit for us. He came back with the quote quickly and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. After quoting, a new brand of battery came out that he thought would suit us better and was bigger for a similar price, so he suggested it & talked us through the differences. During the install Todd kept us informed of when he would be coming and what he would be doing that day. He and the others working on the job were very polite, approachable and tidied up after themselves each day. We couldn't have had a nicer experience. We even decided we wanted more panels half way through & it wasn't a problem for them to make the changes. The final install is very neat and I haven't seen such good bird netting around each of the solar panels. The panels themselves have a very modern look being almost completely black in colour. Form start Todd of Energy Concerns explained clearly about the equipment they are recommending and the result we should expect. There was no hard selling tactics which I experienced from other Solar companies. Energy Concerns Installation is very clean and tidy, there’s no issue of cleaning up after them. We had 18 Panels installed with Give Energy AIO 13.5KW Battery. It’s been a month since we have had it installed and our electricity bill is less than £1 a week, and we are exporting 10-35KW a day.

Todd and his company Energy Concern did a massive solar installation at my house in Oadby, Leicester. The whole process was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I was over cautious because of previous bad experience with Air Source heat pump from EEC. I had previously been engaged with 2 other companies and even deposit was paid to one of them until i got in touch with Energy Concern. Todd gave me his thoughts on what would work best for me. I made some improvements as i am very technical in this field and Todd was kind enough to run it through with officer from National Grid. It was not a traditional installation with lot of technicalities involved, Todd did his best to explain it to the officer, did all the co-ordination, got me pre-approval for G99. He then discussed all the aspects of installation from cables, consumer box, solar arrays, panel directions, getting the optimum output from the system etc. He never imposed or hard sold me into anything but gave his positive inputs. He then procured all the components of my desire from Perlight solar panels, Givenergy AIO, Solis inverters, diverters and car chargers. Finally, i was given realistic timelines, which he adhered to from start to finish. The whole process was smooth from when scaffolding was done, panels installed, batteries and inverters were fitted and finally scaffolding taken down after everything was checked and confirmed. Todd was honest and clean which made life easy for my wife as at the end of the day they cleaned after them. Its been over 4 weeks and we are very happy with the system. So big thanks to Energy Concern and especially Todd. I highly highly recommend them for Solar and battery installation. I can only give 5 stars here on google but here is an additional star for a job well done!!
