Nick explained every stage of the installation clearly and patiently, talked me through where the cables would need to run and gave me really sound, honest advice about the best way to complete the job. He completed the agreed survey for non standard install and then had all the equipment, the path and got everything sorted carefully and diligently. After a hiccup, we now have our fabulous Hypervolt Home 3 Pro Eva charger. Nick arrived before 8am to fit the charger and I just love it. So much easier than the faff I've had for three months with destination chargers in town. The installation seemed to be straightforward and quick and Nick left the area clean and tidy! Very pleased ! Nick the Engineer has done a marvellous job to install my EV Charger, who was very friendly and explained everything patiently step by step. Overall, the work which has been completed was phenomenal!

I Really would love to know how many of there quotes for standard installations are honoured i spent a couple of hours of my time taking videos photos answering questions to then receive a £96 extras email when I queried the extras I was told it was for extra trunking and an hour extra labour as I am in the building trade I had already offered to them that I could have the external wall drilled and floor boards taken up etc so there tradesman would only have to run the cables and do there technical stuff they say standard insulation is 15 mtr of cable my job is a third of that and 3 meter of trunking mine falls well within that also I was not asking for a discount for preparing The job for them i was doing it so it would be less hassle for everyone but for them to try and squeeze an extra £96 really irked me so I have cancelled there install and have arranged with another Company to do it.The lady I dealt with by email and Watsap was pleasant enough and I can’t comment on there work as I have declined to have it done now even tho they said they would do it as a standard install now that I have pulled them up. The main point of my review is to make you future customers to be aware that this appears as standard practice allegedly to squeeze a bit more out of customers if anyone at the company want to query my version of events I have the whole Watsap and email correspondence saved

Had our EV pod installed today. What an absolutely lovely and very helpful and patient young man Conor was. I was worried about this as my husband had to go away, my son was in when Conor first arrived. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! I have got a ev charger installed by aero ev solutions on behalf of motability and there engineer was extremely rude and refused to work due to owning pets and having a pet smell in the property. Whrn they fed back to ohem they said there was urine and feces on the floor when there wasn't any and we had proof. They then caused a 1 month delay on the install and hopefully installing on 9th july. The engineer ultimately lied to get out of the job and said one thing to us and another to the overall arrangement company. They also refused to wear a mask and follow our requirements due to having 2 people with auto immune disorder not disability friendly company. Would NEVER RECOMMEND!!!

I was really anxious about everything being finished in time for my boys’ football game, and Connor worked so hard in the pouring rain to make sure it was all completed on time. I’m so grateful — it took a huge weight off my shoulders. A big thank you as well to the admin team, who were so supportive and reassuring throughout. They even called Connor on the day to check timings for me, which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. When my boys came home from school, Connor had a lovely chat with them about football, which really put them at ease with the work going on. Such a small thing, but it meant a lot. Originally given a date of 14.5.26 for installation. Had a call last night with a cancellation for 1 week earlier. Harry arrived on time. Very polite and efficient, he completed the work with minimal disruption to the household. All mess cleared away, app and installation explained clearly and ensured all working before he left. Can't fault the whole process.

Anthony came to install my charger and provided a great service. He arrived on time and gave me a call 20 minutes beforehand. The installation was tidy both internally and externally, and he thoroughly tested the electrics. He also helped me set up the app and made sure everything was working perfectly when we plugged in the car. Top work!

Terrible communication and endless delays - do not recommend. Absolutely terrible customer communication. I started the process with this company nearly a month ago, providing all the intake forms, videos, photos, and estate management permissions they asked for. Since then, it has been a constant cycle of long silences, disjointed questions, and me having to constantly follow up just to get an update. After weeks of delays and suddenly being asked about trunking, I was eventually passed off to someone else for invoicing. After multiple follow-ups on my end, I am still sitting here without an invoice or a scheduled installation date. If you value your time, go with a company that actually wants to do the work.

Aero Ev were contracted by Ohme to replace a faulty charging unit. Jack the Engineer arrived early & completed the installation in good time. He had to replace the isolator unit as well as the charger unit. Thanks to Jack who did an excellent job & everything working well now.

Nick from Aero EV installed a Cord Zero EV charger at my home on 10/02/26. Nick phoned prior to arrival to say he was on his way. He arrived on time and the installation was completed efficiently, within the timescale advised. Nick was friendly enough, was happy for me to observe the installation and answered all my questions in a professional manner. The installation is tidy and completed to a high standard. Nick swept the work area and tidied up on completion. He set up the charger & app on my phone and talked me through usage before leaving. I only have one minor observation for improvement i.e. with no EV at my property on the day of the installation, Nick had a plug-in device for final testing. This device produced an error code when used with the Cord Zero charger and a full, final test could not therefore be completed. Nick advised, however, that this was normal with this particular charger. My recommendation is that this 'incompatibility' be resolved so customers receive assurance that everything is working before the electrician leaves the site. Overall, I am very pleased with installation and would have no hesitation in recommending Areo EV.

Swift and informative thank you

Requested a black external fuse box to be fitted instead of a white or grey one due to the front of my house being all black. I was advised this wouldn’t be a problem, fitter turned up with a light grey fuse box !!!! Complained numerous times to both the installer and ohme and was advised I’d receive calls back and updates on a black box being fitted, over 1 week on and nothing! EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE! Factor this into your decision when choosing this company !!!

First class service, the staff are dedicated and are customer focused. It took three attempts to get me up and running, nothing to do with the installation but problems with the Wi Fi, nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks to James and Jamie who had very early starts to get to my bungalow.

Harry installed our Ohme EV charger today and did a superb job. Before arriving he rang to say he was on his way and would arrive just after 12:00, which he did. On arrival he introduced himself and we walked through the job to make sure we were happy with what he was going to do. Harry explained he would need to turn the power off for around 20 mins to connect up to the supply and he would let us know 20 mins before, which he did. Once finished, Harry walked me through the installation and showed me what he had done. We then went through the setup of the Ohme App so that everything was ready for us to use it. Harry had also cleaned up when he had finished. I would highly recommend Aero EV Solutions and Harry.

Aero and Harry the installer were first class. No hassle, quick and efficient from start to finish. They turned up on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the car charger install was neat and professionally done. The wiring and placement were tidy, they tested everything before leaving, and walked me through how to use the charger properly. Really impressed with how smooth the whole process was — great communication, great workmanship, and zero mess left behind. Highly recommended if you want a stress-free charger installation.

The process took longer than expected, as the initial survey was completed in November and the installation did not take place until February, which I had to chase. However, the engineer who carried out the installation was absolutely fantastic. We encountered several complications at the property, and it was the engineer’s perseverance and problem‑solving that made the successful installation of the home charger possible. He worked beyond his scheduled time, in the dark and outdoors, and still took the time to clearly explain how to install the app and register the charger on my phone. This was his second job of the day, yet he went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed before he left. I genuinely do not believe he was allocated sufficient time for the complexity of this installation. Despite working later than planned, he remained polite, courteous, and left no mess behind. I want to express my sincere thanks to the engineer for the outstanding work he delivered under difficult and challenging circumstances. Thank you.

Due to a NG fuse (?) the original installation couldn't be completed until National Grid had attended. Then Nick came to the rescue! He came out today on his way home to 'commission' the charger which we thought had all been fitted and completed bar the final connection. Turned out it was a slightly bigger job but he wasn't fazed at all. Nick was brilliant - called me before he attended. Explained the process throughout. Fussed the dogs. Was polite, clean, tidy and was so professional. I felt very reassured by him as to a safe installation and working charger. Highly recommend him!

Had nothing but trouble with this company .Have been waiting since Nov 25 to get them to come and install my charger through Suzuki who we are buying the car off.An engineer called again yesterday and left a plastic bag and black tape as a cover to an outside electrical point which he didn't know what it was for after breaking the fitted cover and then not telling us he had done this.Am really not confident of their installation in my home now, especially as they have said the only way to install is through truncking instead of running the cable through the back of the property.

Thank you Ethan for installing our Hypervolt Home 3 Pro so incredibly and with such care! Ethan has installed our wall charger so well we can barely notice any difference apart from the charger itself! Ethan arrived earlier and we discussed the requirements of preventing battery storage drain and the cable run. He then worked with such care to hide as much of the installation and SPD inside a tricky little storage area away from view, the trunking and cable run through a secondary room and outside underneath our porch door and asked us exactly where we could potentially have the charger and holster on the wall. He navigated us through the app and doing a test charge which had no hitches. We have had absolutely zero issues and we can even monitor our home usage through the Hypervolt app. Ethan also cleared the working area for us. We are very grateful to Ethan as we were worried about our installation but fear not. Wish there were more Ethan's. Absolutely amazing! Legend! Thank you Aero EV! Will be recommending no doubt!

My installation was scheduled for Tuesday this week. The engineer Harry arrived early as promised and explained the process thoroughly. We discussed placement and functionality, and I took advantage of his installation experience. He then went off and worked efficiently, tidying up afterwards. After the installation, Harry guided me through downloading apps, installing them and pairing them. He even offered valuable advice when I spoke to my electricity provider. I’m thoroughly impressed with this installation engineer and thank him very much!

My point point was installed in 2022. I have had no issues with it since. Two weeks ago the electricity turned off completely in it and Ahmed came over today to replace the faulty part. Had my Charger installed today by Nick, they were wonderful! They arrived bang on time and got to work straight away! I was without power for as little as 10 minuets and had an extremely detailed walk-though on how to use my new charger and they even set it up on the Wi-Fi for me. The installation is very neat and level, and the wiring is routed nice and level past the pipes for the gas box. Thank you Nick for being polite, friendly, professional and approachable, I often stress with workmen and works needing doing to the house but you were very approachable and calming so thank you again for keeping my stress levels to a minimum! Awful experience with this company. They damaged the bricks at the front of my home during our car charger installation. Despite weeks of chasing, and two afternoons waiting in with no one showing up, the front of my house still looks awful. I'm now having to look for a different company to repair the damage they caused. I would never use this company again, they're a bunch of cowboys

Mine was not a standard installation and I had lots of problems with PodPoint’s ‘planning’ process, but once Dillon arrived on site to do the job everything was sorted out quickly and professionally. The [long] cable was routed and installed neatly and the charger fitted exactly where I wanted it. I can’t fault the guy or his work and would recommend him without hesitation.

Super friendly, professional and completed the work quickly, diligently and even tidied up as he went along (if only all tradespeople were like James). Absolute disgraceful company. Cancelled twice after the where due on to start appointments . Turned up today(Oliver) and he has drilled through the wood plate and through a pipe (without even checking) flooded my house destroyed two walls / all the floor / all my daughter belongings. Call his supervisor Joe who has an attitude problem and shouldn’t deal with people who said we get a plumber but only once I’ve seen photos and videos which Oliver said numerous times I’ve already sent them and I said no this needs more than that and he said no we get plumber. While we on phone to him the bloke is trying to still install the pod point with water pouring out the electric sockets and had to stop him. Plumber turned up and his exact words were “ whoever did this shouldn’t be anywhere near this” he’s taken ceiling down and wall down to replace pipe and at least showed some compassion for the damage to my daughters room and belongings. He then said who’s paying and the contractor trying running off which I said no get back here your paying and gave details of his office. I then said get your supervisor on the phone and he said no he’s refusing to speak to you speak to pod point and I said no you did the damage 2 walls have to come down / whole of floor needs be replaced / personal belongings destroyed there’s thousands of pounds worth of damage and he said no he won’t speak to you and left . I called and asked for Joe and I got attitude and lied too numerous times. I said what are you going do about this he said I got a pl out and I said yes you tried to get out of paying and he said no paid him already and I said you haven’t as he asked us and he said no he’s paid oh and we are sending a plaster out to patch up and I said no not good enough you have had the videos and pictures of the damage you caused you need to sort this asap he then told me they are working behind the scences on this and will let me know and I said no I am the customer who’s 5 year girl room has been destroyed you talk to me so what are you actually doing behind the scenes cause all you told me so far is you have arrange a plaster so what day is he coming and he said oh well I haven’t contacted any yet so I said so your lying what are you actually doing and then he had the audacity to ask to come off the phone to pay the plumber who’s been to my house. I said that’s another lie you told me you paid him. We have contacted pod point and they also tried to fob off and pass the blame. So we are now currently have no pod point and contractor who has drilled in a wall plate / flooded my house damaged in the thousands and did we even get a sorry from Joe no nothing all I got was attitude and as if I was an inconvenience. Seriously do not use them they don’t care and lie through there teeth. I asked for someone more senior than Joe as he was rude didn’t care and didn’t even apologise and he said no I’m in charge the owners on holiday and I said I feel sorry for anyone get installs with you. Company is a disgrace

Excellent service from the Aero team from start to finish. I had a pod point home charger installed following the purchase of my electric vehicle. The engineers initial visit highlighted that due to my electric coming in overhead, I would need to gain permission from the statutory provider in order to continue my installation. Aero guided me through the process so it was as quick as possible and we gained the approval as required. The installation itself was carried out professionally and to a high standard. Would highly recommend!

Update - Only charging at 3kw on first use! AVOID AVOID AVOID Installation plan was not confirmed when engineer turned up. Instead of getting the desired end result the engineer was on a phone call and turned up far earlier than expected (drilling very early in the morning disturbing my neighbours). Keen to leave ASAP instead of confirming my satisfaction with the job. Very poor result, poor customer service. Company unwilling to remedy. Avoid.
