NHM Electrical Services Ltd

Fantastic service, resolved an issue we had with new Samsung induction hob. Excellent communication from first contact and throughout. Will certainly use again. Many thanks Nick and Finlay.

We had outside floodlights fitted on both sides of our house. After my initial enquiry, they quickly gave me a date for a survey. During the survey I was given advice on the best solution to my requirements at the best price. After I accepted their quote, I was offered installation dates. On the day of installation the guys arrived promptly, made sure everything that needed to be covered was and proceeded with the install. The installation went smoothly. Afterwards they tidied up, including vacuuming the carpets and sweeping up outside. After a quick demo of the new lights and fittings they were off. All in all it was a quick, friendly service, always letting me know how things were progressing. I’d highly recommend this company for electrical installation work.

Nicky and his team did a great job of fully rewiring our house; they were professional, tidy and thorough. It was a big job over a week through which we stayed in the house with young children, and NHM were very considerate of working around us and making sure we had what we needed. Communication was excellent from setting the appointments through to Nicky happily explaining his plans each day and answering questions whenever we asked. Would highly recommend!

Nicky and his apprentice arrived bang on time. They fully respected my house and set to work immediately. For this job it was to install a new cooker and cooker hood. Sounds easy but it was far from it. Nicky’s professionalism got him through the day. Communication was superb, talking me through every detail. Price was very competitive and given the work that my job entailed, was very reasonable. I fully recommend Nicky to anyone needing a good electrical company.

Nicholas is not my regular electrician but an emergency situation arose where I needed someone at very short notice and he was first to respond. My RCD was tripping every 20 minutes creating a dangerous situation so I was relieved when Nicholas was able to come out, locate the issues and make my house safe again. He is a specialist in fault detection, and although it was expensive because it was an out-of-normal-hours call-out, safety comes first and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again should the need arise.

Electrician turned up on time, carried out work to high degree of precision and quality, polite and left no mess. So talented he managed to make my budget Amazon pendant lights look a million dollars! Definitely recommend!

New ceramic hob fitted. Arrived at stated time, fitted new hob, advised that old hob had been incorrectly wired and resolved problem. Would definitely use again .

Nick is great. Great communication throughout full process. Arrived on time for quote which was very reasonable. Needed to install shower switch, bathroom lighting, outdoor porch light, and full house electrical inspection. Shower required a lot of work to sort and Nick had to go thru the walls and ceiling. He did a great job patching everything back up on top of electrical work which is perfectly sorted now. Provided and fitted outdoor porch light which is now bright, watertight, and looks great. Full inspection provided listing all aspects that we now need to address which has left us feeling safer now knowing where we stand and what needs addressed. Gave great advice and never felt like I was being sold work I didn't need. Need work done still, and I now won't use anyone else for any electrical work that is to come. Very friendly and easy to talk to, super professional. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Nicky from NHM. Brilliant communication arranging the job then couldn’t be nicer on the day. Delighted with the work that he’s done, plus he left the place spotless. Going to get him back for EV charger installation. Thanks!

Nicky recently installed an outside plug in our garage. We are extremely happy with the work and couldn’t recommend him enough. Great work and just a really lovely guy!

Nicky was very informative, friendly and came up with various solutions to issues that I had in my house. He is very knowledgeable

5 sockets replaced very efficiently.

Nick was recommended to me by a friend and I am delighted that she did so. Nick came out to my house and replaced ten downlights. The price was excellent for the work that he carried out. I would highly recommend NHM electrical services to my friends, family and to the general public at large. Nick is also a nice young man!

Great service. Neat work, tidy and good value. Will certainly be using them again.

Arrived when they said, quickly and efficiently fixed the issue, cost was as stated when booking. Would definitely recommend.

Nicky came to advise and give an estimate of the work required. Very professional approach and clearly has the appropriate expertise. Estimate seems very reasonable, and we were happy to ask him to complete the work.

We had over 5 days work carried out by Nicky and team. This included an EICR safety check, remediation of some issues from that check, some new things fitted – smoke alarms, etc, and a move of the supply point to an outside shed in preparation for a solar/battery installation. Work standard was faultless throughout. Happy to recommend.

Just had some electrical work done by nhm electrical services arrived at arranged time carried out all work to excellence standard cleaned up after work finished would recommend them to anyone looking for first class workmen.

Fantastic service right from the start! Nicholas got back to me very quickly to get booked in and communication from then on was excellent. I got a reminder text of my booking the day before, and another update to let me know when Nicholas was on his way. Nicholas was very friendly and knowledgeable and is happy to do even small electrical jobs. He did a brilliant job for a fair price and tidied up after himself. Would definitely recommend!

First class service from Nicholas and his apprentice Finn replacing our outdoor lights and installing some internal dimmer switches - turned up when they said they would (with great pre-appointment comms to confirm all details), very personable and likeable guys, nothing was too much of a hassle, and they solved a fair few problems ad-hoc (like me buying the wrong bulbs!). Will absolutely be using NHM again!

It’s difficult to get tradesmen to come out to Barrhill so when I got Nicholas’ leaflet through the door I was delighted. He did not disappoint. He was able to put a new socket in a place where others said it wasn’t possible, and did a variety of other things. He turned up on time, he and his colleague worked quickly and efficiently, and cleared up after themselves beautifully. Apart from the work done, you wouldn’t have known they’d been here. Thrilled doesn’t cover it.

Best electrician about, can’t speak highly enough. From quoting, to doing the job and following up afterwards flawless from start to finish. All work done to high standard, no fuss, hassle free, regular communication and wouldn’t know they’d been there after tidying up.

Tradesman arrived promptly with his apprentice. Job done quickly and efficiently. Courteous and pleasant at all times

Contacted for a new bathroom fan, turned up on time, sorted another little job as well, cleaned up, all done fine within cost first given, polite and respectful of house, will definitely use in future

Messaged Nicky after my electric radiator wouldn’t turn on. Quick response time, he was able to come out and look at it soon after getting in touch and he quickly found the issue. Thank you!😊

Cannot recommend this guy (Nicholas) highly enough. Contacted through a doorstep flyer which looked very professional. Phoned the number, explained what I needed and was given a date, price and time for the job. Arrived punctually and carried out the work professionally and efficiently. Tom, Troon.

Great service with a personal touch. Would definitely recommend

Very happy with the quick and efficient service.

Quality and very professional service very easy to deal with and would highly recommend to anybody looking for an electrician

Their advert in the local community magazine said "no job too small". We had a flickering ceiling light, really annoying but also pretty trivial. My email inquiry was answered within a couple of hours and date/time for visit agreed. Job was done on time, done well and all left clean and tidy.

I phoned Nicky in a bit of a panic on a Saturday afternoon after attempting some DIY electrical works and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Thinking I could easily change our hall lights myself it quickly became apparent (when they then wouldn’t turn off) that I couldn’t. After talking Nicky through the problem he advised what I could do to make it safe and scheduled me in for a visit first thing on Monday morning. Unsurprisingly he managed to sort the problem straight away in minimal time and cost. Thoroughly recommended

Cracking tidy job was an absolute gent fitted a new fuse board and also provided me with a test certificate as the other 2 contractor's who quoted weren't going to issue a certificate would have absolutely no quam's about referring him to anyone

Brilliant job, Nicky and his apprentice were both polite and efficient. Would highly recommend the service.

They did a brilliant job having just moved into the house a few months ago. They upgraded most of the antiquated switches and power points throughout. Installed extractor fans in the Bathroom. No messing about job done in a day can't recommend them highly enough. Definitely our go to electrical contractor from now.
