Stewart was on time, completed the works in a tidy and timely manner and took the time to explain what he was doing and how the system works !

Very satisfied indeed with the help in planning for external lamp post lighting and for installing a set of lights to such a high standard and in a timely fashion. In addition, we had a generator changeover installation on an external wall of the house. From start to finish we were very pleased with them for providing such a detailed quote and for the quality of the work throughout. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company for electrical services.

Excellent service. Received a prompt response to my initial enquiry; clear pricing; punctual, friendly & tidy. The newly-installed equipment (smoke alarms) have given no issues (e.g. false alarms).

SFES Great Company. Stew came and explained everything which needed to be done to install a new consumer unit and remove the old fuse box. Checked all the existing wiring and was pleased when everything was ok for the new installation. Came on time and made a lovely job, cleaned and tidied up afterwards. My first port of call if I need any electrical work doing, Highly recommend Thank You Stew

Excellent, prompt service and explanation, to rectify a damaged three phase cable and install a manual generator switch. Great communication and arrived early on the planned date. All work completed to a high standard. Highly recommended.

This was my first experience of Stewart Forbes Electrical Services and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Following my initial call we arranged a meeting to discuss the project. A quotation was received shortly thereafter and a date set for the work to be undertaken. The work was done in a very professional manner entirely to my satisfaction. They left the property in an immaculate state so rarely the case these days. If you’re looking for an electrician in their area of activity, I would suggest you look no further.

As a business owner, I have been let down my so many tradesman over the years, meeting Stew was a breath of fresh air. He was punctual and polite, obviously very knowledgable and hard working. He fitted my electric car charger at home and made a rather complex job look easy! His aftercare is very thorough and he is very approachable with queries that I had after the job had been completed and paid for. I would absolutely recommend Stew and his team, you won’t regret it.

The service Stew has provided over the last year has been truly outstanding. Polite, punctual, reliable, clean worker, nothing was too much trouble and despite our complex job taking many hours he honoured the original quote given 10 months earlier - I would highly recommend Stew to anyone. We have had a nightmare with our energy provider fitting a new smart meter and throughout Stew has been a source of excellent advice being on standby and turning up at short notice to help out the various meter technicians who were struggling. In addition he has changed our ageing and much added to fuse box, a complex job with a number of different circuits and he just ploughed on through and produced a thing of rare beauty. Thank you Stew - you are an absolute star. Before & after photos below:

Have used Ollie & the team for a couple of years now, we have several rental properties so over the years have had lots of electricians who have either overcharged or let us down when needed but I’m happy to say that is not the case with these guys always sorted out any problems & never seems to be any trouble. Very reliable and always friendly so a big thank you from K and J Egdell Properties.

Ollie and Stewart arrived exactly in time, kindly removed shoes to keep my carpet clean and immediately started work on my list of electrical jobs. very responsive top quality service will use again for sure!

Stewart and his team undertook a full house re-wire for me recently. From the outset Stewart was open and honest in the detailed scope of works being planned and provided a price based on his initial inspection and findings with no hidden surprises. Despite problems with our conveyancing delays, Stewart was very flexible as start dates had to be changed a few times and when we finally got the go ahead he only needed a few days notice to start. Once onsite, the team got stuck in to the task and although it being intrusive work, everything was done in a very organised manner, noise and dust containment was always respectful and well controlled. Works were completed with good quality products and testing/commissioning completed with the appropriate documentation provided immediately on completion. The team were professional, efficient and always polite, leaving areas safe and tidy and I have no hesitation in recommending SFES to anyone needing electrical works. Thank you. JF (Malton area)

Stew gave good advice, quoted a very reasonable fixed price and did a very good job, wiring a 3-phase workshop. Very happy.

We used this electrical firm as we needed a full rewire. They were more than helpful, everything was clean and tidy when they left, everything was explained and any questions I had they answered. They also came back and done addition work, as we had a new kitchen so certain sockets needed moving and outside lights wiring up. Not a problem, phone was always answered. Also I liked that they were a family run business. I would definitely recommend these and would use them again

Would highly recommend this business - excellent service from start to finish. What started as a small job - replacing light fittings led to replacement heaters through our property and a new electrical board.
