Prolec Hull Ltd, also referred to as Prolec Electrical in the reviews, is described by some customers as professional, friendly and tidy, with one saying the house was left spotless and another saying the workspace was cleaned at the end of each day. Several reviewers report repeated use over years for jobs including house rewiring, a kitchen rewire, an electrical inspection and CCTV installation, and they say they would recommend the business. One reviewer says pipes were damaged during a full rewire and that an attempt was made to cover this up, which the company denied; that reviewer says the company then refused to engage further and the matter is going through legal channels. Another reviewer says a job was done to their satisfaction but that they were still getting invoices after paying in cash and were still waiting for a safety certificate. A further reviewer says a staff member made inappropriate comments and stared at her chest during a call-out to fix a landing light.
We used Prolec Electrical to carry out the first and second fix electrical work during our kitchen renovation, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. The staff were professional, friendly and courteous, and the standard of workmanship was excellent throughout. They made sure their workspace was cleaned and tidied at the end of each working day, which we really appreciated. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work, the overall service and the cost. We would highly recommend Prolec Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and quality electrical service.
I hired this company to carry out a full rewire. From the outset they were unreliable and unprofessional, and it became clear that corners were being cut, which contributed to the overall substandard quality of the work. During the work, pipes were damaged and an attempt was made to cover up the damage. When I raised this issue, it was denied despite clear photographic evidence. After approaching the company to resolve these issues, they refused to engage further. As a result, I am now having to pursue the matter through legal channels due to the damage caused. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that others think twice before using this company.
I can not recommend Paul enough he came a completed the job himself with no worries did my kitchen rewire spot on thank you so much
The electrical inspection was completed in a fully professional manner. The crew was polite, efficient, and very helpful in explaining and listing all the remedial works required. I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend them.
I have used Paul and the team at Prolec in the past for commercial work (I subcontracted part of a CCTV job out to them). The pricing was spot on, and althoughwe did have an issue initially with how the wires had been run, but Paul came out himself and assessed what was wrong and happily got his team to put it all right to keep the client happy. The level of professionalism was high and the quality of the work was all done to the highest of standards. I would have no hesitation recommending Prolec out to any business associates or family & friends.
I used them on many occasions for both, business and domestic projects. Highly recommend!
I cannot recommend this business highly enough. They arrived on time, and undertook all of the works I asked them to do. They also left my house spotless, with no mess left behind at all. I would definitely use them again.
...got a job done to my satisfaction...but still getting invoices for the bill of £132 which I paid on completion,in cash...also still waiting for my certificate of safety...
