Orange Fox Electrical have done loads of electrical work for us, and we can’t recommend them enough. They’re always so helpful and friendly, and whenever we’ve had an emergency, a quick message has been enough to get someone out really quickly. Great service and lovely people to deal with. Danger - Stay Away TL:DR - Orange Fox disassembled a socket during an inspection and left it unsafe, then charged me again to fix the damage, caused more damage whilst fixing it and threatened to take me to court if I didn't pay. I called Orange Fox Electrical to replace one socket and inspect another as it was occasionally tripping the circuit when used. Whilst I wasn't concerned about what style of socket used, the replacement socket that was fitted isn't straight, and tiling around the new socket is scratched up but that is just the start of the problems I had with this company. For the inspection, the engineer spent the entire visit on a video call with a supervisor, who from my perspective was essentially coaching him through the whole job. The engineer disassembled a second socket and identified that it was a spur wire off of it that was no longer up to regs, so he disconnected the spur on the first socket, put this second one back together and went on his way. He left saying that an estimator would be booked to come out and give a quote for rewiring. I later discovered that the second socket the engineer took apart began to fizz and pop as soon as I plugged anything into it, signalling a dangerous electrical problem and a serious fire risk. Either the engineer had failed to notice any "wear and tear" and reassembled a dangerous electrical socket, or had caused the additional damage and failed to realise and/or mention it to me. These things happen - it could very easily have just been a simple mistake that was quickly solved, but instead this is where it all went downhill. I called their office to let them know I had a problem with the socket their engineer had disassembled during the inspection, but after turning up, they instead declared that the socket had instead failed due to an inexplicably sudden onset of "wear and tear" (despite being perfectly fine before it had been tampered with). I explained that it had been perfectly fine before being disassembled, and that it'd broken following the engineer taking it apart, and that I hoped this to be resolved as a mistake on their part and not treated as another call out. After being informed that they didn't offer any assurances or guarantees whilst conducting inspections because my property was "too old" and that they'd be charging me again, I made it clear that this wasn't explained to me at the time of booking the job and now just wanted the socket to be made safe with no further work needing done. The Director became verbally aggressive with me on the phone, declaring that he would bill me anyway to make it safe, and threatened me with court action if I didn't settle the invoices. The second engineer then replaced the socket and has claimed he "had to knock out cement" to do so, which I've had no choice to accept due to the socket being unsafe and at ground level with young children in the house. Orange Fox have refused to accept any accountability or liability for the distress and damage they've caused my family and my property. I have a house full of young children, some with additional needs - knowing I have no way of proving the damage they've caused, I have been strongarmed with multiple threats of legal action despite attempting to resolve this matter by offering to settle the first invoice in full along with paying for the materials supplied on the second visit. Their "good will" gesture is to knock 10% off of each invoice, and even that was then followed up with "Pay the invoices or we'll see you in court". The two engineers that visited me were both pleasant and polite, but I'm now left with damage to my walls and I'm left over £350 out of pocket as I ended up having to call another company who identified all of the actual issues and solved them with no problems in half the time. Stay away from Orange Fox Electrical and choose another electrician.
Amazing service again. Have used them for several jobs in my holiday cottage and always a first rate professional job. The guys are very polite and go out of their way to give a clean, tidy and neat finish. Highly recommend.

Company did a great job. Came out the same day to give me a quote for replacement lighting. Identified a possible issue with the fuse board at the same time. Came up with a number of options for lights. Fitted within a few days of making a selection. Friendly team - both on the phone and in person.
We had an issue with the lights going out in my wife's office and it needed to be sorted asap. I called Orange Fox and they were amazing from start to finish. They booked me in quickly and there engineer arrived on time. He found the fault but also uncovered some fire hazards with the cabling , made it safe and came back early the next day and fixed it all. Great service, very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you Foxes!
We are incredibly grateful for the fantastic advice and guidance Orange Fox provided at an early stage in our new build. Their experts challenged us to imagine how we would use each room, walking through the plans with us, asking questions and making suggestions, to come up with a bespoke lighting design and perfect placement of sockets, light switches etc. We had no idea how important this stage was, but the end result is exactly what we wanted and we are absolutely delighted with both the finished product and the quality of workmanship.

The electrician who did my job was very professional and went the extra mile to provide a 5 star service. Having identified a problem with my heating thermostat receiver he contacted to base to see if they had a new part. They didn’t, which meant a part would have to be ordered in which would delay the job. The electrician doing my job had a part at his own home so he agreed to make the 15 mile round trip to get this before returning to complete the job. The whole process from first arrival to job completion took 2 hours leaving me very pleased, grateful and impressed. I highly recommend Orange Fox Electrical Ltd.
Quick response times, friendly and helpful on the phones, and will be able to come at short notice. That being said, our problem (popping/banging sound from a wall socket) has persisted post-work and didn't seem to be well understood by the engineer who came to inspect. Essentially, they killed a couple hours while doing nothing to remedy the problem which, whether intentional or not, is not good on the wallet. On the topic of wallets, the quick service comes at a fair cost that isn't made fully explicit online. In short great service for quick, emergency problems when you can't book anyone else, but I wouldn't recommend for trickier or more mysterious work. The callout time costs are just too severe, and engineers seem all too keen to take their time with things at your expense

After 11 months of electrical problems on a big project, various electricians failed to solve an issue with the Salus heating controls. Orange Fox were on site for 1 day and sorted EVERYTHING!!! I couldn't believe the depth of knowledge and efficiency, would highly highly recommend.

Brilliant service when I called them having suddenly lost all socket power in my cottage when the main RCD tripped and wouldn't hold in. One of their senior electricians interrupted his admin day in the office to come out immediately. He diagnosed the fault quickly and replaced a badly corroded socket in the kitchen. The socket was recessed and grouted into tiles making it very awkward to get at, but he was careful and didn't damage any tiles in replacing it which saved me loads of time making good afterward. The bill was very reasonable too. I couldn't recommend them more highly. They will be first call for any electrical jobs I have in the future.
Awesome service every time I've used them - several times over several years. My latest was an out of hours call when I'd lost all power. They quickly worked out where the problem lay and were able to advise what course of action to take next. Fantastic. Highly recommend

We took advantage of Orange Fox' s 24/7 call out at 4 am on Saturday morning. They talked us through our problem to solve the immediate issue and then arrived a few hours later with the parts needed for a permanent solution. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Excellent company, have used often and found their professionalism to be exceptional. They have the equipment and knowledge to take on any challenge whether it is a 1960s old dumper electronics, technical problem solving or re-wiring the whole house. I do not hesitate to recommend!
We first hired Orange Fox for an emergency call out, and were extremely impressed with how quickly they arrived and resolved the issue. We were away at the time but they dealt with our cleaning team who were unable to work due to no electricity. They arrived and resolved the issue promptly and called us throughout to update us of their arrival and what the issue was. Following this we hired them to complete additional work, the quote was clear and accurate, staff friendly and professional. Their work is very neat and tidy. We received all necessary documentation quickly. Orange Fox are extremely professional, as restaurant owners we need reliable trades and Orange Fox deliver every time.
