JDH Electrics Ltd

Joe from JDH Electrics responded quickly on the telephone and arranged to come to my house to resolve the electrical problem within two days despite being very busy. He was professional, friendly and charges a fair price, I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

New Myenergy Zappi EV charger has been installed by JDH electrics and I can say that Joe took all the stress out of getting it arranged and then installed. Dealing with Joe from start to finish has been just about as good as it gets. He's super friendly, clearly technically very capable and was able to get my property assessed in person and then quoted on within a couple of days. The new EV charger was installed within 3 weeks from first enquiry. He has been super helpful with my questions throughout the process and I would thoroughly recommend his services to anyone looking.

Joe is a friendly, knowledgeable and professional electrician. Firstly hired for an EICR of our property, he uncovered the issues present and provided appropriate solutions. It turns out that the builders of the property had done a few nasty things, and without Joe's work we may never have uncovered some potentially dangerous issues until it was too late. He also uncovered a hidden socket backplate that had been plastered over, explaining why our 1st floor ring didn't have continuity. All of this was done with minimal cutting in to the inner walls of the property. Once the job was done, he left the room in a cleaner state than when he started! What I appreciate most about Joe is the time he took to explain what he was doing in a way that I as someone with no electrical knowledge could understand. It takes a true master of his craft to break down readings and concepts in a way that someone with no knowledge can understand.

Excellent job with domestic electrical repairs / installations. Joe responds to request for help quickly & efficiently. He is also polite, helpful & obviously takes pride in his work.

Huge thanks to Joe who helped out with an electrics emergency last week. He was there within 45 minutes and got it fixed in no time at all. Really friendly and professional. Great price. Top service. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Joe was super efficient and professional. He installed a new electric system into our our house, plus flood lit our driveway and updated the down lights in our living room. Excellent job, thoroughly recommend

Recently had JDH in to connect our new garden office to the mains and put in some networking cables around the house. Joe was very friendly and helpful, including installing some external cameras I'd sourced separately for a very reasonable price. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them.

Joe is very knowledgeable and professional. Completely rewired our catering trailer up to the highest standard, at very short notice and competitive price. Thanks to Joe our business didn't suffer with being closed for too long. Our electrician of choice from now on. Thank you Joe!

Excellent service, was able to come and have a look in good time and was prompt! Obviously was very knowledgable about what tests needed to be carried out and resolved the issue. We will definitely use the service in the future!

Quick and detailed answers via email. Quick to schedule work and did all as quoted. On time, left the garden in a good state (and in fact better for us as ground was left even and raked ready for grass.) Checked electrics of whole house, provided EIC, replaced cooker socket, and replaced cable to outhouse. Told us exactly what he would be able to leave/what was for us to make good, no surprises. Would recommend and use again.

Highly recommended… professional, polite and knowledgeable. Would happily hire again. Thank you Joe.

Great experience, had my garage fitted with electric and Cat 6 networking. Prompt service and nothing was too much trouble. Will be using again!

Joe is great, courteous and detailed. Quick to respond to emails and managed to finish the upgrade in four days while working long hours. He helped us upgrade our electrical system from single phase to 3 phase with a new board and tested all connections for a new electric certificate and balanced them across the 3 phases. No more tripping since the new installation and this will future proof us for new planned upgrades like extra solar panels, 3 phase heat pump and batteries. He even investigated a faulty CAT6 network connection for us, really impressed. We will definitely continue using him and recommend him to everyone. Thank you!

Excellent service! Joe was very prompt in answering my enquiry for replacing and upgrading my EV wallbox (to a Zappi) and as well as the work being performed to a very high standard, Joe is extremely safety minded (perhaps as you would expect) and made a few recommendations to improve our Consumer Unit wiring. Would highly recommend JDH Electrics.

Joe and the team completed a full rewire for us in our G2 listed house. We couldn’t be happier with the works they’ve completed, JDH are superb! We will definitely be calling them for any further electrical works we need in the future and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks again guys!

EICR and upgrades (consumer unit and various other items) in old listed building. Good communication, turned up on time, professional and quick work, sorted out a number of issues and explained clearly what they were doing throughout. Great job, thank you!

JDH Electrics installed power to my shed along with internal and external lighting. Very professional, arrived on time and explained his process throughout.

Joe just completed the installation of an EV charger and some other work that was needed to do this. Through the whole process he has kept me informed with what's going on and done exactly what he said he'd do, exactly when he said he'd do it. He worked a 12 hour day to get it done and has done a fantastic job, I will definitely be using him for future electric work. Good work Joe 👏

High quality work, paying attention to little details. Joe problem-solved with me to work out the best solutions and was polite and friendly to boot. Responsive, punctual and great service. Highly recommended.

I had a car charger installed, I'm very pleased with the work that Adam and Joe did they did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend them

Joe was excellent from the get go and ran thorough test on the current wiring before suggesting a course of action - something previous electrians did not do. He was extremely clean and tidy and I barely knew he had been over! He has an excellent attention to detail and I am over the moon with the work he has done. Cannot reccomend him enough!

I would like to say thank you to Joe in his honest approach to a rewire for me. He was able to provide a quote which was realistic and saved me money compared to other quotes I received. He was able to fit me in right away and continued the rewire within a couple of days. He even cleaned up after himself! Definitely someone an electrician you can rely on, affordable and highly skilled at the job.

Joe has just completed a really challenging outside lighting job at our house and we’ve been so impressed by him. Right from the beginning when he first came over to quote he stood out from the other electricians as being quick to respond, professional, detailed and thorough. Throughout the time he was with us he was always polite and pleasant to have around and focused on doing a good job. We are happy to have found an electrician that obviously takes great pride in his work and goes out of his way to please his Client. We have photos of the driveway lighting and inset patio lights Joe installed for us. Thankyou Joe.

Joe certainly knows his stuff and advised me on what works were required for the installation of a EV charge point. Joe’s work was top quality and very tidy, he is a bit of a perfectionist and will make sure his work is of the highest quality! ( no complaints from me in that regard) Joe ensured I was fully aware of what equipment was required and everything was detailed in regards to cost so I knew what to expect, the total invoice was very competitive (unlike a lot of quotes I received) his price was fair, realistic and offed me choice of equipment that I required All in all I am extremely happy with his workmanship and his professional manner. With his company being local to me I will continue to us JDH Electrics Ltd for all of my electrical jobs going forward Thanks Joe for making me a happy customer who will return to you for the next electrical project I have! 👍

We would highly recommend Joe and his hardworking team, who carried out a sensitive and thoughtful rewire on our Grade II* listed house. They really took our wishes into consideration, and were meticulous about the placement of every wire and socket, ensuring that we respected the history of the house. They did a fantastic job.

We could not be happier with the rewiring job that Joe did for us. He took on the job at short notice after we were let down by another electrician. He has an exceptional work ethic, and was always cheerful and positive in the time he spent working in our home. He suggested solutions to all the problems our period house threw at him, and we felt able to trust him completely to carry out the work in our absence, which he did to an exceptionally high standard. He was willing to put himself out to minimise the damage to wall coverings and decorations when working which we hugely appreciated. He and his team did a really fantastic job for us under difficult circumstances. We could not recommend him more highly, and will only use his company in the future.

JDH Electrics recently re-wired our kitchen extension and prepared the area for a new kitchen installation. Following a re-wire of our newly purchased home last year, we were delighted to hear that JDH Electrics would be available to complete the kitchen project. In addition to the re-wire the electricians fitted all new sockets, pendant lighting, down lights and an exterior light at our home. We would highly recommend JDH Electrics; they are great value for money and offer good advice regarding contemporary electrical options, for example, they installed a grid switch unit rather than multiple fused spurs, which is an aesthetically pleasing option for our kitchen environment. We were extremely satisfied with the quality workmanship and reliable service. The electricians, Adam and Joe, were polite, punctual, tidy and trustworthy. We would not hesitate to call JDH Electrics for future work at our home.

Absolutely brilliant service, friendly, punctual, explained what he was doing for the work I had requested. Would definately recommend to friends and family.

JDH was very professional in his work. He kept me fully informed throughout the whole project. JDH changed my consumer unit, rewired the kitchen and shower. I would highly recommend JDH.

I had my kitchen refurbished recently and while testing the added circuits, it was discovered that I had a severe electrical problem with deterioration of both the lighting and socket ring mains from the fuse box. Basically the circuits I had relied on for years were condemned as the insulation was breaking down into a sticky green liquid, not only affecting the light fittings and sockets that the wiring served, but also appearing in the main fuse box behind the safety cover. Joe of JDH Electrics found this when testing the electrical runs from the kitchen, picking up some horrendous readings, checking the other circuts as a precaution the bad news became apparent. JDH Electrics promptly came up with a plan to rewire the house completely, which was the only solution, providing the manpower to effect a speedy rewire, thorough testing, new sockets and fittings, with an up to date fuse box as well. They discussed what they were going to do and the best way to achieve this with minimum inconvenience to me. Well done, thumbs up for JDH Electrics for a great result and at a very competitive price. 100% Happy. Would recommend to friends & family. Thankyou
