M J Electrical

Had a fantastic experience with this company. They got us out of a real pickle (power kept tripping at home one day recently). Would definitely use again next time we need an electrician, and highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Mike and his team more highly. They always do a fantastic job of any electrical work we need, and are so friendly and professional. Their work is always fairly priced and super high quality. 10/10

I’ve have used Mike a few times now over the past years and everytime he has been pleasant and professional. Even short notice and there he was at the door, brilliant service and wouldn’t use anyone else 👌 also lovely to see his boy working alongside with him, next generation of MJ Electrical just as pleasant and professional 👌 thanks you guys

Contacted Mike after having an electrical query and couldn’t be happier with the service! He is knowledgeable and was really polite and patient with us (we didn’t know too much about the issue we were having) and responded to messages really quickly. He arranged a visit and arrived on time and again was really polite and reassuring. Thanks for a great service, we would highly recommend you and you will be the first person we call in the future.

Mike, Cody and 'observer' were fab! Excellent service - connected my electric cooker - and very professional! A friendly group of men and got the job done very quickly. Mike was so helpful from the initial contact through to the end, explaining everything thoroughly. Highly recommended!

Answered his phone very quickly during a power cut at our home. Managed to aid us in getting the power back on over the phone. Didn’t charge us for the call. Mike was very professional and very friendly. Won’t hesitate to go to him again for our electrical needs. Freddie and Paula.

Fantastic and knowledgeable help over the phone late on a Friday night when we had issues with our fuse box, resulting in a speedy fix. Thoroughly recommend!

Wow what an amazing service glad to have someone local kind and caring . Very informative on the issues we were experiencing and did an amazing job with a new RCD. Highly recommend and will be a returning customer when it is needed.

Great service, will continue to use M J Electrical in the future!

Mike fitted in several small jobs for us at his earliest opportunity (just two days). One of them was a wiring installation into lighting for some bespoke furniture, and he showed care and interest to make his job suit the situation he was working with. Friendly, professional and a quality job.

Amazing service, honest ,helpful , and was so quick to our sos call. Will use again.

When my home couldn’t be re-connected to the power supply recently I sought the advice of a member of this service who guided me through the recovery procedure immediately over the telephone. I panicked no more. I cannot thank him enough.

Michael was really quick to come out to help with our electrics. Really competent, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!

Met Mike through the builder of our extension and he did an amazing job, listened and advised really well so that we could have the right electrics and lighting for the new kitchen, which in a old (circa 1900s) house is no easy task. He was transparent around the infrastructure required and the costs all of which were reasonable. Reliable, honest and efficient! So impressed that for the last two years (and counting) Mike has been our electrician of choice. Not matter the problem we’ve given Mike he’s always found a great solution - couldn’t recommend more!

I was recommended Mike by a community Facebook group. He popped over to scope the project and quickly came around to complete it all (garage lights, new sockets etc). Lovely man, great eye for detail and plenty of recommendations and tips. Thoroughly recommend!

MJ Electrical installed 2 bathroom mirrors and 2 new sockets for us. The quote given was accurate and reasonable, and the work done was professional and tidy. Would recommend to anyone in Ivybridge

I wouldn't use anyone else. Mike has visited the property three times. Reliable, professional and affordable.

Drilled into a wire in the evening and tripped our electrics. Phoned Mike first thing was here within 2hrs, fixed up, filled the hole and tidied up. Efficient, professional and a great price! Will definitely use again.

On time, polite, efficient.

Did a fantastic job on changing our old storage heaters to lovely, new radiators. 👍 Definitely recommend

He contacted me on the same day as me leaving a message and he kept me informed when he was going to arrive. He adhered to the social distancing requirements, completed the work quickly, kindly fitted the appliance which I didn't ask him to do and he cleaned up after himself. Friendly, professional and very reasonably priced too. Would recommend

I needed 8 lights installed, two fire alarms replaced and a carbon monoxide monitor installed. Mike was very friendly and did the job well, we are very happy with his product advice and work

Mike did some electrical work in our garage, turned up at the arrange time, we found him friendly, reassuring, efficient and reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to recommend and use him again.

highly recommend mike. he is efficient, always arrives when he says he will, if he cannot make it he will call and is very reliable excellent standard of work too. he was especially great with my grandparents no job is too much trouble.

Unreliable - arranged to source and replace a central heating programmer but did not do so. Only confirmed that they wouldn't be doing so after I asked for an update given radio silence on the day. This extended the problem over a weekend while a more reliable contractor was found.

I couldn’t recommend Mike enough. I found him through google after being let down by another firm and despite my job being a small request, he came out within days of my enquiry. Very professional and got the job done quickly and well. To top it all off, he so reasonably priced too. I will be using him again for sure!

Two days before Christmas and all the downstairs sockets went off, no fridge, cooker or boiler. Luckily we stumbled across Mike and he was over in under 30 mins on a Sunday. The problem turned out to be pretty complicated but he clearly knows his trade and was able to fix it for us for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be using him again and would highly recommend him.

Great service, great price, great guy.. job completed safely and quicker than expected. Would reccommend and use again.

couldnt ask for more - helpful and reliable and always happy to offer advise if asked

Thank you Mike for the electrical work completed to a very high standard. Great price!! Nothing too much trouble, arrived on time, extremely courteous and left absolutely no mess. Satisfaction guaranteed and would happily recommend. Thanks again!!
