We came home late the other night to find all electrical power circuits down. Associated circuit breaker box RCD tripped and wouldn’t reset. Immediate problem was no power to fridges and freezers and wife telling me spare freezers were full. AI instantly gave contact details for 2 local emergency electricians (never tried AI before for a real problem- quite impressed). Phoned G&D Electrical Services and got an instant pick up. Gary calmly talked through the troubleshooting process with me. Followed his instructions and quickly found the culprit - a freezer. It would be!! I should have known the troubleshooting procedure off by heart, but it’s difficult to think after a night out, after 11PM and being loudly told to get freezer power back on pronto. So, would certainly recommend G&D Electrical Services for emergency work and Gary’s calm approach, which led to quick results - if not for one freezer! A five star service indeed.
Gary was so good. He arrived shortly after my call and sorted out the emergency electrical problem And came back shortly after to sort out all the other less urgent problems. No hesitation recommending Gary, great service and genuinely nice person. Price was really good too. Thanks Gary
This was my first time using Gary, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Communication was excellent from the start, and he turned up exactly when he said he would, which is always appreciated. Gary took care of two jobs that had been sitting on my to-do list for far too long and got them sorted quickly and efficiently. He’s a really nice guy with great chat, making the whole experience pleasant and stress-free. He was also very professional, taking the time to explain everything he was doing and making sure I understood the work being carried out. Reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Gary will definitely be my first call for any future electrical work. 5-star service. 👍🏻
Very detailed, neat and precise, Gary is really good at his work. Highly recommend - thank you for all your efforts.
I can thoroughly recommend G & D Electrical. Gary has diagnosed and fixed faults, installed a generator input switch, and installed new led lights for us. Quotes are always sent promptly too. Thank you 👍
Job carried out on time, excellent service, friendly and professional would highly recommend.
Big thanks to Gary for coming round at such short notice and fixing my hot water issue over Christmas. Very reachable and friendly dealings. Keith.
Gary came out quickly when our electrics went out and diagnosed the problem efficiently. He was very friendly, professional, and approachable throughout. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Gary again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician.
Absolutely fantastic service and very reasonably priced highly recommend!
No hesitation in recommending G&D Electrical Services. They really helped me out when I needed testing done quickly and certainly worthy of a 5 star review - if not more!
Great job and very friendly will use again.
Really pleased with the work carried out by Gary and have no hesitation in recommending him. In fact I already have!
Very much appreciated the work Gary did. Replaced faulty sockets, and a light fitting and took time to work out an issue with previous faulty wiring. Leaving me with a wonderful working external light. I'm very happy with the work completed. And I learned a bit about electricity too. I would thoroughly recommend Gary.
Gary installed a new power socket on an existing circuit for me. The work performed was neat and tidy and he arrived exactly when he said he would. Would happily use again
Can't thank Gary enough. he came out to us same day we called when we lost power, and spent hours tracing the fault! He was very thorough, checked absolutely everything, and eventually figured out the fault with our complicated wiring, and got our power back on! 5 stars isn't enough!
Very happy with the work Gary undertook for us. Replacement of security lights and rewiring to fit several new sockets in not so easy locations. No mess left either. Great communication, quote accurate and turned up when he said he would which is worth 5 stars on it's own. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Gary supplied, wired and fitted a fused isolated switch in the kitchen and wired and fitted a switch box. For a pond on an outside wall. Gary had done work for us 2 or 3 times now and each time his work has been very professional . He arrives on time and gives good advice whilst doing the job and is very safety conscious. I have no hesitation in recommending Gary should you need his services.
Garry was professional, gave a great explanation of the requirements and when planned, he executed the work as was agreed. There was great attention to safety and the quality of the materials supplied and finished job was excellent. It was great to see the final result.
What an absolutely brilliant service. We needed a bit more work done that anticipated but all repairs were carried out well, in a fantastic, problem solving manner. Kind, professional and good value. Will certainly be using G and D again. Thanks so much. Lights look great and are functioning perfectly now!
Have had various jobs done to modernise, including the installation of electric radiators that I purchased. Price, quality, communication, tidyness were all of the highest order...furthermore Gary is very educational sparky, explaining everything as he goes, which has been most useful. Recomended.
Work done to a very high standard. Company are very communicative and flexible. Would highly recommend.
Good workmanship, proper advise, using high quality hardware and a good professional attitude. Highly recommended.

We were having downlights put in throughout our home. The guys were very professional and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend :)
They turned up when they said they would and cracked on straight away. There were a few issues (NOT of their making) which they sorted without breaking stride and were the consummate professional. All done and dusted with a great sense of humour. Nice guys, can't recommend them highly enough. I have some more work which I hope they will be able to do for me.
Absolutely amazing work! We got an outside socket fitted for our hot tub (burnt the original one!) and its fantastic, very tidy and everything was explained as he went along. Highly recommend 👍🏽
Gary's work is second to none. High quality hardware used and a good clean job. Proper electrician unlike many of the cowboys going about, certification for all work completed.
Excellent service, explained what he was doing as he went along and very tidy. Very pleased with the completed job. Highly recommended.
