The resulting fix was very clean, smart and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

They have been professional and reliable throughout and the work was completed to my satisfaction. I don't know if their prices are competitive as I haven't compared with other electricians but it's nice to have someone that I feel comfortable to call on to do electrical work.

As with previous installations made by Bartlett Electrical, we are most impressed with everything; from initial briefing, confirmation, promptness, tidyness, final appearance and then of course, the actual usage. A splendid company to deal with and trust and our garden cabin is now a thing of beauty.

Alex and Nick were both professional and friendly , sorted our problem out straight away, would definitely recommend them.

I contacted Alex because our 1990 oven had finally died and I needed a patient sparky to help me reach my vision of replacing a single oven, with a double oven without replacing the whole kitchen. I had no idea that the electrics involved may not be a straight swop and had been spooked by the man at the shop, who suggested that we might have to rip parts of the kitchen out, to get the electrics in. Alex popped round, completed his quick survey, assured me that it was do-able and assured me that Bartlett Electrical would fit the oven soon after delivery. Thereafter, with the help of a handy chippy, we created a neat space to house the new double oven and Alex’s Apprentice did the rest. No hassle, and a more than reasonable installation fee than the shop could offer. Alex and his team are friendly and efficient, not to mention thoughtful and kind when installing a 51- kilo, dead weight box, with a husband and wife team whose lifting and transporting skills resemble the Chuckle Brothers! Thank you, Bartlett Electrical. Definitely leading the “charge” in excellent value in the New Forest and beyond…

Great job done, big improvement to our courtyard area, many thanks 👍

Really impressed how quick Alex at Bartlett is in responding.

UPDATE - Thanks for Saving Our Dog's Life! Alex - We are indebted to you for saving our dog’s life. Last year we lost our old dog and we now have a 6 month old puppy who likes to chew things. Earlier this evening we were in the lounge and he was playing about when suddenly all the lights went out and the TV went off. We went to where the dog had been playing and found that he had chewed through the lead to a standard lamp. Fortunately the circuit must have tripped out very quickly and not electrocuted him – he was fine. We are most grateful that you modernised our wiring and updated our circuit breakers. Thank you! LAST YEAR We had a wiring failure. Phoned Alex and he visited later the same day and investigated problem. A ring main had blown up and we needed re-wiring, two new consumer units and some updating. Work involved major chases in concrete floors and plastered block walls. The guys were very clean and tidy and there was actually very little mess. i would 100% recommend them.

Superb job. Good time keeping.

Smashing job. Professional, informative and tidy. Initially helped us out in a fix the same day and arranged a quote for a repair at a reasonable price. Happy to recommend him.

Very professional, neat and tidy and fast! Will definitely be using them again. Thank you Bartlett Electrical!

Faultless. There is an electrical joke there somewhere. Alex and Nick did a perfect job, turned up early and had the job done in a few hours. Nice, tidy work and cleaned up afterwards. Alex also sorted a loose connection in a socket for free whilst I made him a cuppa. On top of that - A very nice company to deal with. The kind of people you genuinely want to recommend to others. I will definitely be calling Alex again. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Alex and Jon have been back a couple of times since to fit bathroom extractor fans, inside and outside lights, external power sockets as well as other bits and pieces. Always on time, great people and always a quality piece of works. When my (dodgy) electrics which I inherited kept tripping - Alex came out after hours and sorted it for me. Genuinely excellent customer service. If you're thinking of using Bartlett Electrical and haven't yet - go ahead and do it. There's a reason why they are booked up in advance. He's coming back next month to do more work....

Alex and his team supplied, wired and installed two extractor fans in our two bathrooms, replaced an old shaver light with a new LED shaver light. Removed 2 wall lights, and replaced an old PIR light with a new one, installed a new outside socket. Alex and team were cheerful, helpful and professional at all times leaving the area s they worked in clean and hoovered. A brilliant service will certainly use Alex Bartlett (Bartlett Electrical) again. Thanks guys.

Within a couple of days, Nick from Bartlett Electrical was there to carry out the job. He was on time, efficient and professional as he went about his job. Even though there were some unexpected complications with the job, Nick took them in his stride and ensured the job was completed, even leaving the working space in a better state then he found it, just with a new extractor fan. I will be using Bartlett Electrical again and recommending them to my friends and family.

Alex fitted an EV charger and did a neat, professional job. Thanks.

Alex and Nick fitted out a new industrial unit. Adding in sockets, extra lighting, Ethernet ports and a heater. From start to finish I felt at ease that the work being done. All aspects were completed where I had requested them to be, from sockets in the right place and lights being located in the optimum position (which Alex thought through and arranged perfectly to ensure the best lighting in all areas). Alex and Nick carried out the work in the time frame, given that it was a large area to cover and the awkward location of the fuse box - meaning a scissor lift had to be hired to get the wiring up and over the rolling door. I was so pleased that they managed to complete it all on time - and with plenty of time to test everything and to make sure I was happy with all the work. Thank you so much for fitting me in, it meant that I could carry on with moving in and the rest of the work needed to make the office operational as quickly as possible. Will definitely use again for any electrical job - I’ve previously used Alex to hang kitchen lights and install an electric car charger at home. So no job too small or too big! To add; always turned up on time, and left the place very tidy.

FANTASIC and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Alex carried out a new installation for us and we are really pleased with everything - his work, professionalism and very reliable. He has also been very respectful during Covid times. Alex will definitely be the one we will call or recommend for future works!

Bartlett electrical helped me to decide on lighting options on a new bathroom installation. Also upgraded the fuse board to comply with regulations. I'm very happy with the work carried out. Will use again.

Moved in to a new property that needed a lot of work doing to it Alex was absolutely fantastic, he carried out our consumer board upgrade for us aswell as changing single sockets into double and installing a few extra lighting circuits polite and very professional definitely recommend

Where do I start. Alex has done quite a bit of work already for me and I will continue to use him for up coming works. I first used Alex right at the beginning of his career where he re located some sockets for me and installed a new tv Ariel and plug so all the wires were hidden behind my wall mounted TV. I have also been in talks with him about an extension I will be doing in which he has offered to help set out the wiring on the plans to best suit my needs. He is always willing to go that extra mile to please his customers, and does not have money on his mind. I also know that I could call on him at any hour for and emergency and he would be there come rain or shine. Thanks again Alex

Alex has completed multiple jobs for me over the years and most recently has completed a complete rewire on my property. Alex was very professional, efficient and always kept the place very tidy. His assistance in determining the best fixtures and fittings was invaluable. I would highly recommend Alex and will continue to use Alex for all my future electrical needs.

I'm very pleased with the work carried out by Alex, he sorted out a stretched earth cable, relocated a mains socket, installed fused spurs for under counter appliances, and installed a cupboard light. All works were completed to a high standard, he cleared up well after finishing, and the final bill was as quoted. Alex turned up promptly on the day booked, and was friendly and professional in his approach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring electrical work.

Alex did some work for us today. He's an absolute perfectionist! Really pleased with our ceiling fan and he sorted our few electrical "gremlins" whilst he was here. Cannot recommend enough.

Alex replaced my old fluorescent lights in my workshop for new energy efficient LED lights. Overall really pleased with the job, great value and professional service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
