Come on guys, you deserve a pay rise😇😇😇. Two young lads, Connor and James—no wonder they are slim and fit, they never pause at work. Loved the installations, they were superb. They spent the whole day with a couple of hot drinks, obviously not the best because I made them🤣. Brilliant lads. They communicated well, were professional, and were neat. All the best, mates. The WYGS team were here in April/May to carry out recommendations under the Warm Homes Grant scheme. I was really impressed by the company’s insistence on getting everything absolutely right. Communication from Glen, at the top and throughout the company was key in making me feel listened to and a valued customer. A site visit from one of the Directors, Lee was also reassuring to look at snags and confirm what they would do to put things right and when. Jacob did a great job in project managing everything. All in all I’m very pleased with the work and would recommend them without hesitation.

I had solar pv, battery, loft insulation and dmev fans all fitted in 3 days. The guys were polite and friendly. The job was well organised. Very impressed.

Excellent Service from Start to Finish! I recently had internal wall insulation, ventilation and a significant amount of external work carried out at my property in Halifax, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. The lads were fantastic from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked incredibly hard and delivered a really professional job to a high standard. The whole team worked brilliantly together, and it was great to see everyone pulling in the same direction. The project was overseen by Jacob, who I genuinely cannot fault. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was done as I required and that I was happy throughout the process. Richard and Jay carried out the plastering work and were brilliant. They explained everything step by step, kept me informed and left me with an excellent finish. The ventilation team were equally professional. They came in, got straight on with the work that needed doing and did a great job. Shane also did a cracking job with the radiators! All in all, I’m one very happy customer. It’s refreshing to see a team that takes pride in their work, communicates well and delivers such a high standard of service from beginning to end. I had a solar inverter and battery fitted by WYGS , Luca and John were the installers for the day, I've got to say how professional they were which assured me with confidence. Just to show how diligent they were! They thoroughly checked the previous installment, making sure it complied with current regulations and made upgrades as they continued the install, they were quick and efficient at their job working as a team. The team concluded the installation and made sure they had cleaned up after the work, set up the data app on my phone so that I can monitor my energy usage, the app also seam to be user friendly. The product looks and functions great, hat's off to this company and staffing for their support from start to finish.

The whole process was really good, on the first day the insulation manager visited to make sure everything was explained and understood. He was very polite and professional. The loft has been done really quickly and really well and the fans were great. The electricians explained everything. They all looked after my property and cleaned up. Well done WYGS

WYGS undertook a project to install an insulation system on the inside of my external walls and attic rooms. They also fitted TRVs on the radiators and installed ventilation. I am extremely happy with their work and would recommend this company for several reasons. The work was completed to schedule and I was kept informed at all times. The staff were experienced, knowledgeable and professional, and a pleasure to have around. I felt reassured there was no cutting of corners. They definitely went the extra mile, installing a replacement radiator, which I supplied without the brackets, and saving the wood from my built in cupboard so I could reinstall it. The finish is perfect, the replastered walls and skirting boards are done to a much better standard than the originals they replaced. Any snags were promptly fixed without issue. A good experience all round.

Finally near the end to a lot of extensive work, and different trades people coming in the house, all the trades people gave the upmost respect to our house and coped, with our expectations. JACOB was outstanding with dealing with the trades people and our request for certain finishes to our home, I think if it wasn't for Jacob the standard we expected would not have been achieved. Edited today. Yesterday, we had our first full service of our heat pump, cylinder and all pipes and electrics etc. this was the company who initially installed the system. Once again, very high standards from point of booking, service and ease of payment. The gas engineer, Saun, was a mind of knowledge. Not only did he do a fabulous job, he even managed to explain so much to me about my system. By the time he left, you would have thought we had had a new heat pump installed. So, once again, thank you WYGS for another professional interaction. If you’re looking for green energy systems, I would highly recommend making WYGS your first port of call. They know their systems inside and out and nothing is too much trouble. Especially when explaining this knew technology to older people, like myself. We have just had heat source pump, radiators, pipe work, solar panels, inverter and battery put in by WYGS. A team of 5 altogether. The two guys with us for the bulk of the time were Arron and Ethan. It was a retrofit into an 80’s bungalow. The work was carried out very professionally. The lads kept us informed all the way through as they moved around the bungalow. Their work was impecable, they cleaned an area before moving to the next. A full explanation of all equipment and its usage, switch off etc etc was given. When the electrician, Luca, arrived, he, once again, was very clear with explanations and I felt they all went out of their way to make things easy to understand and also convenient for us, eg, extending entry tails etc. The young man on the roof was equally brilliant. He found a broken tile, informed me and moved it to the edge for me to easily replace. We are having a full remodelling next year, 2024, during which time we will be moving to underfloor heating rather than radiators and we have already decided that WYGS will do the job. So, if you want a company to install your energy efficient equipment I would strongly recommend them. Good quality equipment, excellent work team who are courteous, professional, very knowledgeable and clean. ADDED REVIEW AFTER ALMOST 2 YEARS. The after sales has been great with WYGS. I did have a problem which my wife commented on, but after further investigation it would appear that it was an error on our part with a wrong number blocked so calls weren’t being received. The main boss, Glen, got involved and everything sorted out. The system is still working very well and efficiently, and we’re looking forward to phase 2 at the end of the year with Underfloor heating and a full rewiring of the house. It would be daft to go elsewhere as they did such a classic job with the initial installation.

Had Shane & Steve in doing the decorating. What a couple of lovely fellas, happy to help and have a good laugh with. Treated our home with respect. An assist to WYGS 👍👍👍

We recently had a team from WYGS to completely remove and replace our oil fired house heating system. Work was performed in cold conditions in early January 2026. The entire system was replaced efficiently and included new radiators and associated plumbing, installing a domestic hot water tank and air source heat pump at the same time. In addition to this we had extra loft insulation and solar panels fitted to offset the additional costs of running our new system. The whole project was designed and completed by MCS accredited engineers. We found all the tradesmen involved to be thoughtful and courteous. They even provided two heaters for the duration of the work. The whole team worked conscientiously and professionally and are a credit to WYGS. We, therefore, have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Jacob carried out a survey for internal insulation. From the outset he had a friendly, respectful manner he explained everything so fully, was clear on what work needed to be carried out to bring our beautiful cottage up to a good standard and to reach its full EPC potential. He is such a good advocate for your business as many can fail to give you the confidence in the first place.

I had entrusted the fitting of insulation to the Healthy Homes department of the council which is where it all went wrong assuming that they knew what was happening. Having finally spoken with Jacob, the Insulation Manager from West Yorkshire Gas Solutions, who spent 2 hours ensuring I knew everything I needed to know about what was happening and going to happen and he really went above and beyond redoing parts of the survey to ensure everything was just right and putting my mind at ease. Very pleasant to deal with and most helpful and knowledgeable chap and I very much appreciated his time and have confidence moving forward the installation will be as painless as possible. Unfortunately he divided a damp survey would be needed in the middle of summer which would not show my mild damp issue in my 150 old house. It ended up I was simply dropped from the scheme, they messed about to the point the funds ran out over the course of 18 months and I ended up with nothing. I will not be listening to any more of these council schemes the local companies, YES ENERGY and WYGS both jumped on the bandwagon, milked the scheme dry and I got nothing and I suspect I am not alone. The local council department who was supposed to be overseeing this scheme had no clue what any contractor was up to and was just handing out the cash and paying themselves fat salaries for not overseeing anything. Opening the windows over this winter cured my damp and my log burner cured the cold with a few jumpers. I did try and complain to everyone but gave up in the end as no one was in charge and no one had a clue what was going on.

Everyone I dealt with at this company were efficient, professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you WYGS

We’ve had great service from West Yorkshire Gas Supplies. We’ve had new wall insulation and a new Air Source Heat Pump. Every single trade involved were high spec guys - from the electricians, the plumbers, the wall insulators, the plasterers, the joiners, the heating engineers and the painters - all of them did a great job and were cheerful with it. And all done within the timescales they’d set. I’d highly recommend WYGS.

We recently had solar panels installed on our property and we are very pleased with the quality of the installation. The external work looks great and was done very efficiently. Graham completed all the internal work and it was clear that he takes great pride in his work, and his professionalism. I have just had a survey done by WYGS. I have been in the trade all my life, but now retired and disabled so these guys were called in. I have met all sorts of people in the trade as you can imagine, and I couldn't be happier to say how professional, courteous and helpful the whole company has been, but Jacob who has just done the survey was without a doubt an asset to WYGS and the reason I felt the urge to write a very praising review. I usually hate the thought of others working on my home as i am a perfectionist, but with the the way they have conducted themselves and talking to Jacob I am actually looking forward to them starting.

Just had a new heating system installed by WYGS which included a new Air Pump and Energy efficient radiators to replace our old Oil Boiler and rads. We couldn't be happier with the results but in particular the smooth process and professionalism of all the workmen involved. Dave and Jake the plumbers did a fantastic job and were super neat with the install and Shane completed the commissioning of the system who explained everything in detail. Luca took care of the electrical side of things for the Air pump and also installed the inverter for the solar system we had installed at the same time. Again, neatness of the job was impressive. Jack installed the solar panels and did a great job tweaking the positioning of the panel design and its turned out really well. Thanks to all at WYGS including the surveyors and office staff who made the whole thing a breeze!! Highly recommended.

I’ve had two installs done by West Yorkshire Gas Solutions, one today (solar panels) and one last year (storage heaters). Everyone I’ve dealt with, at each point in the chain, has been great but special mentions go to Chloe in the office for answering all my questions and, most of all, Graham & Joe. Graham & Joe did both my installs, they were super friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and to top it off, their attitudes never once reflected that they were up on my roof all day in temperatures below zero. They’re honestly credits to the trade and I would recommend them in a heartbeat ⚡️

Solar Panels and Inverter installed. I must admit I was apprehensive about the work being carried out in the loft etc due to recently plastered ceilings but Jack and Isaac who installed the inverter were very careful and conscientious. They did a very professional and neat job explaining everything to me. Gary who fitted the Solar Panels was also very professional, very good to deal with and a really hard worker. The scaffolders from Storm at Whitby also great guys who took care with my house and garden. Again great communication and hard workers.

Just had Solar installed by jack & isaac, and we couldn’t be happier with how efficient and tidy their work is.

The two electricians, Jack and Isaac, who came to wire up our air source heat pump and the DHW cylinder where space was limited, were excellent. The work wasn't straightforward as they had to take the electric supply from the front of the house to the back of the property where the pump had been installed. They kept us informed of what needed to be done throughout the whole procedure. Tidy workers, they did a first class job.

A brilliant job by Michael and his team of plasterers last week, installing interior wall insulation to two sides of my property, upstairs and downstairs, and also the stairs wall. High quality plastering leaving my home in a far better condition than they found it. More brilliant professionalism today by ‘The Super Seven’ a fantastic team of hardworking young men from Rotherham, who have installed a complete heating system and air-source heat pump in one day. Also, a huge thank you to Graham and Joe, the electricians who have worked around complex logistics to get their jobs done. Graham elec top job great customer satisfaction couldn’t, be better

I had some teathing problems with the heating and hot warter systems, that was me mainly missunderstanding the controls "comfort point," and, "setback point." Then there was a water a leak upstairs with damage to the kitchen cealing. A phone call to Lee from WYGS resulted in detailed explanation of the warter and heating controls. Later when l discovered a warter leak it resulted in a call to Lee .Then visit from Lee who found the leaking pipe and fixed it. I expected some problems, and there was, however, the after installation service was five star.

Thank you to the teams of Aidan and Alex, and Jack and Isaac, for installing a new heating system in my home in a very hard-working and professional manner.

Subcontractors carried out work well, but admin was appalling. Time slots allocated were unrealistic, causing installers to be late due to constantly playing catch up. Two reminders were needed before l received my completion documents. Xxxx xxxxxxxxxxx

I have been extremely satisfied with the workmanship from WYGS who have installed a new heating system, including an air source heat pump, radiators, loft insulation and solar panels. I have found the attitude of all as professional and efficient. The administration staff were also very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed that I had a visit from one of the directors to talk through the implications of instalment and that he took the time to visit a couple of months afterwards to answer a few additional questions. A huge thank you to Alex and Jordan WYGS fitted a full air source heat pump system. They went over and above, extremely polite - nothing was too much trouble. They ensured the house was tidy with minimal upset while keeping me informed of what was to be done. The finished result was great. A job well done !!

I had insulation done recently by Richard Grant through West Yorkshire Gas Services and he and his mate were brilliant! Friendly, helpful and professional.

We have had ASHP and Solar panels installed by WYGS. Team arrived Monday morning and all works were completed by mid afternoon on Friday. Arron and Ethan installed the ASHP and new radiators and were professional and polite throughout. Both Arron and Ethan were able to answer any queries we had about the system. Any items of furniture or carpets were carefully moved and replaced when works completed. Luca arrived on site on Thursday to complete the electrical works to the ASHP and the solar panels. Luca was also very professional and polite and carried out the installation to a high standard. Gary arrived on Friday morning to install the solar panels and worked with Luca and had the system running by mid afternoon. Lee was our main contact throughout the whole process from survey to completion and was a credit to WYGS. Any issues or questions we had he dealt with immediately and was able to give answers and resolve. Lee arrived on site on the Friday to commission the system and leave in working order. Lee has also made himself available at all times should we have any issues. We would recommend WYGS for any such installation.

Matt and Graham installed my air source heat pump over two days and did a great job they explained everything thing that needed to be done and left my home clean and tidy. Recently had a complete New Heating System , solar panels and loft insulation installed by West Yorkshire Gas solutions I have been seriously ill for a few years so I was very apprehensive and feeling very vulnerable prior to the work commencing. The stress and upheaval of this amount of work in my property had the potential to be a very negative experience yet, it turned out to be a positive experience. The team doing all the work were very professional hard-working got on to complete the work with minimal disruption. I was reassured and given explanations of the progress . The guys did not stop working to complete all that needed to be done as soon as possible, even with complications that was out of their control . The guys cleaned up daily and as soon as they had finished the work . My property was left, clean and tidy. My, thanks go to the whole team but especially.. Thank you, Mathew for your wit and sense of humour, but also your care to a vulnerable customer and getting on with a complicated job so rapidly. We had a heat pump install from storage heaters so full piping system, new water tanks and new radiators. From start to finish, I cannot fault these guys for professionalism, tidiness, inclusion and explanation. My husband was really interested in the heat pump install and Lee kept him in the loop all the way and often worked together to ensure that they both knew what would happen. The team that came to install were amazing (I was working most of the install) but they were clean and never bothered about explaining things or questioning things. They always sought clarification if they came up against issues, with often multiple solutions being offered. They were here for 4 days and worked hard for 4 days. I won't pretend that it wasn't an upheaval because it was but it was managed well and all inconveniences (no water, room access etc, were discussed to allow the schedule to progress smoothly) Would I recommend - definitely.

Nightmare to deal with, they lie about ringing you when they don't, you do all the chasing to no avail! Am glad my relationship with them ended here before any work commenced! They appear to be extremely short staffed, over subscribed & cannot handle there work loads, typical when a small firm tries to expand without investing properly ar customers expense!

No exaggeration to say that this is the worst company that I have ever had to deal with. The work was initially done shoddily and then it took the better part of a year to try get it fixed. Poor punctuality, poorly organised, poor customer service. The experience really was a nightmare.

Communication not great had to keep chasing as people didn't turn up at booked time and sometimes not at all but when work men did arrive they were very good efficient and hamelpful. Communication between office staff customer and workmen shoddy to say the least

Got a grant off my local council for gas fitting to my property, Lee came out did all surveying seemed decent lad. Sent a bunch of cowboys from Bradford ripped up floors and then refused to finish job and walked off, then sent some lads from down south, literally fitted everything half arsed I've got wonky radiators fitted by them, no towel radiator in bathroom like was quoted for, didnt even put my floor boards back down in the kitcgen the system loses pressure, didn't leave me with any documents of my boiler or warranty, ripped all my lino offered 80quid didn't even cover the costs of replacement, now have leaking water pipes under my floors causing absolute damage. Avoid avoid avoid set of cowboys want shutting down.

Just had a solar system wired up by Luca. He's done an excellent job. Very professional in his conduct. Can't praise highly enough. Good experience start to finish from WYGS.

West Yorkshire Gas Solutions as in just 3 days fitted an Air Source Heat Pump and eleven Solar panels. The heating engineers, electricians and roofers were all very good at their jobs. Cleaning after themselves and leaving everything tidy. Thank you.

Very professional from the start with very polite and friendly staff that went out of their way to be helpful and explain everything that I needed to know and were very careful to leave my house clean and tidy, even though they were working long hours they never cut corners or rushed things. Unable to get through on the phone to West Yorkshire Gas Solutions. A message comes on the phone saying the person answering as hung up. Happened 6 times. Maybe that person wants a quick getaway being its Friday. I rang at 4.45pm but the Company doesn't close until 5pm.

Had some Loft Insulation and Extractor Fans fitted by WYGS recently. The Tradesmen they used were brilliant. Very conscientious and respectful. The quality of their work was excellent. The Electricians who came to connect the fans were top class. I don't usually give reviews but in this instance I feel compelled to do so

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! What a bunch of cowboys! Fitted new boiler and they damaged a door screen and literally dumped all their rubbish on my path and outside my back door and back gate. They had no respect for my property at all! Radiators leaked and had to come back. Now the thermostat isn’t working & the boss, Glenn can’t even answer my calls or call back, when he says he’s going to! Worst company I have ever used & the customer service is non existent! Absolutely disgraceful! Absolute bunch of cowboys!

I received a poor service from this company. It seemed like they were only after the money from the grant scheme and once they got their hands on that, they weren't bothered about dealing with queries or any problems that cropped up following the installation.

Had complete central heating fitted through the company. 5 weeks later electrician was sent to wire the boiler. The pipework was shoddy and my sky dish bracket was damaged by them while working, was informed that the electrician would fix this, who had no idea. The company denied any damage. Avoid this company. I will contact the grant provider to avoid these companies

Have recently used West Yorkshire Gas Solutions after having an issue with my boiler. Cannot recommend them enough, especially Lee Tansley who was super efficient in resolving the issue. My boiler was assessed, the specialist part ordered and fixed super quickly and at a very reasonable cost too. 100% recommend.

Excellent service and quality, Lee removed our old boiler and fit the new one in less 5 hours, he's very polite and very efficient, he left the area clean and tidy, I fully recommend and will use these in future. I would give Lee 5 stars plus. Thanks

Absolutely disgusted with this company. Do not touch them! Sent out surveyor for grant scheme who then recommended cavity wall insulation. All papers signed for this and new boiler fitting. Turned up and drilled 20+ holes in our walls then said couldn't fill walls. Not the fitters fault who was most apologetic. He said that loft insulation could be done And he was sure his boss would sort it out. Rang on 3 occasions but call was dropped each time, the first time I used an unknown number answered straight away and girl said the boss would ring before 12.00 no reply so called next day and told again owner would call . No contact from firmino over a week so contacted MP and will be seeking legal action.

WYGS Ltd installed our boiler 3 years ago. They were easily the best price from all the quotes we received and did a thorough assessment of our central heating needs. The recommendations were spot on and the customer service was excellent. 3 years on and unfortunately our boiler recently developed a fault. After reporting this to WYGS Ltd I just wanted comment on here and compliment the excellent after care service we have received. They have ensured our boiler was fixed in a timely manner and prevented any further problems. Thank you to all who helped, it is much appreciated.

Would highly recommend West Yorkshire Gas Soultions to anyone. We had our new boiler fitted today. The man who came today was liverpudlian can't remember what he said his name was but he was really friendly and polite. Took his shoes off before going upstairs, very little mess left to clean up. Wiped feet before coming back in the house as it was raining. Also adhered to social distancing rules when he needed to talk to me and wore a mask the full time he was in my house. Can't fault anything about this company. Thank you so much.

Terrible and lack integrity. Colin had fitted a boiler, ended up messing up the whole central heating and water works in our home. After they avoided our phone calls and said it wasn’t their issue, we had to contact a third party to come and check the fitting of the boiler: 5 faults were identified meaning it wasn’t safe to government standards. We were expecting Collin to come and resolve on Sunday 20th December - no one showed. And then again on Tuesday 22nd - no one showed. I worry about anyone who uses their service. Unprofessional and seems they just want to be paid quickly and move on. Meanwhile we are with an unsafe boiler, still waiting...

Would not recommend, damage to my carpet and they have refused to give insurance details, shoddy pipework, attic left upside down after workmen returned to rectify their work. Happy to supply picutes

I called so many companies regarding the Eco Sheme in Lancashire, this company by far have given the best service. We will reccomend them to family and friends. Both the surveyors were informative and friendly. We have had our under insulation completed throughout the house, the two chaps did a great job, fast and effective, no real mess. Next week our boiler is due. I would highly recommend.

AVOID DON NOT USE!!!!! I would never use this company ever again and would advise no one else does either!!! Once they have your money they could could not care less. Bloke called Peter came out to to carry out the work and had the worst attitude and once money is paid ignores your calls to finish the job. I had to ring a dozen times to complain and at times was told there is no manager to escalate it further and hung up on me. Over a week later I am still waiting on a call back from a manager. Awful customer services and absolutely terrible staff that carry out the work.

Sadly more interested in taking money from the government than caring about the vulnerable. Water damage in property caused by his engineers and we have been told to "paint over it" the job cost in excess of 3k most of which paid by the govt for an elderly gentleman . When trying to assist gentleman to get issues resolved the director was sarcastic and derisive and won't complete remedial works. Unfortunately as he is the director the complaint stops there. It is his business and if that's how he wants to talk to people there's not a lot anyone can do about it, certainly no higher authority. So please be warned. Before you use him, think about how it would be resolved if it does go wrong. His complaints policy on the website is a lie.

I couldn't recommend these guys more! They replaced our old boiler a couple of years ago now, and have serviced it ever since and it hasn't missed a beat. They are a great team, everyone seems to know what is going on, really professional and TIDY!!
