Professional knowledgeable friendly electrician, and very reasonably priced.

Andrew @ Honiton Electrix came out in a major storm and got our power fixed. Friendly and very easy to contact via WhatsApp.

I contacted Honiton Electric to replace my consumer unit , the existing unit did not comply with the current standards . Andrew attended and fitted a unit with full residual current circuit breaker protection on each circuit and conducted a full system test , a few anomalies were found which have now been attended to . I have no hesitation in recommending Honiton Electric for any electrical work , we now have a detailed report and certificate for the work done , this is now essential when selling a property.

Great job! He came in and fixed the mistakes made by another electrician. I’ll definitely keep using your services in the future. Thank you!

Didn’t start work until he was here an hour. First thing he told me was about my neighbours poor electrics breaking GDPR. Then gossiped about someone we mutually know. Then insulted my garage electrics and told me I wasn’t allowed to do it so cut my wiring that i’d purchased. What I had fitted was perfectly legal and safe. He also said he would pat test my devices and it would be £2 per item, charged me for the kettle base and kettle. Also pat tested things I didn’t ask for. Sent me an invoice and said he wouldn’t charge me for the “work” he did in my garage. Would not recommend.

Excellent job delivered on time and at a fair price.

Work has always been carried out quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend.

Knowledgeable responsive and work done when promised. Good Electrician. Would recommend

His attention to detail and commitment to doing a top quality job were clear throughout. He made sure everything was done safely and efficiently. I have used Andrew previously and was pleased to hear when we spoke on the phone that he had experience in installing EV chargers. He provided me with sound advice and carried out all the work I needed professionally and cost effectively. If you are looking to install an EV car charger I can highly recommend his work.

Andrew of Honiton Electrix responded promptly to my call and was efficient in identifying the fault as a damaged mcb. He also helpfully offered to test the appliance which had triggered the circuit tripping in the first place. Andrew also identified two (unrelated) potential hazards in the distribution board and rectified them. I was impressed with the competent and professional service I received.

I was selling a house in Honiton that the buyer wanted a EICR test for, Andrew done this and and couple small electrical jobs to of which I left him a key so he could complete all for me “very trustworthy and nice chap”

Absolutely fab. Really accommodating, efficient and has saved me a lot of money! I've used Honiton Electrix for a couple of jobs and he is always prompt and professional. Certainly recommended!

Great job. Reliable company. We were pleased with the wiring of our new porch and the thoroughness of the engineer. We'd recommend them.

Can't fault the service provided, a master of his trade. Andrew gets the job done every time, I'll be using him again!!

We needed someone to check our EV charging point. Andrew was able to do this very quickly and affordably. This allowed us to confirm to the garage that the charging issue was with the car and not the charging point. Andrew also told us of advantages of upgrading the charging point, but put us under no pressure to do so.

Andrew responded quickly as always and he is a pleasure to do business with.

Andrew carried out some electrical work and issued an EICR for my property, he was punctual, professional, friendly and offered a superb service. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend. Thank you!

Super quick and friendly response, fault found quickly and professionally with minimal fuss or bother. Excellent work at a reasonable rate. Will save Andrew’s number for any future work.

Absolutely great service provided by Andrew. I needed my garage wired and some external lights fitted. Andrew was able to make time to do this quickly and did a fantastic job. Really happy

Andy is great. He helped bring a 60s bungalow up to date by replacing an old fashioned fuse board with a modern consumer unit, plus migrate away from an old economy 7 setup. Andy is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain his approach, whilst listening to my viewpoints. He's pragmatic, whilst ensuring that everything follows the correct standards.

Andy put new downlights in our kitchen, a new RCB and an outside light and socket - he was hard working, tidy, and very helpful. He worked methodically and solved all problems he encountered such as awkward access, old wiring and previous questionable electrical work. I would recommend his services and will be asking Andy back for any electrical work we need in the future

He spotted errors in the previous company's work, fixed all of the problems with great efficiency and charged me a fraction of the price I had been quoted by other electricians. Andrew was very communicative over email and the phone, he gave honest advice, and he even communicated with the previous company about their errors. I am very impressed with the service provided and I would recommend Honiton Electrix to anyone.

Had problem with electrics leaving us with no power. Andrew was with us within two hours of calling. He made a safe temporary repair to see us through the night and was back nine o clock next morning. The fault was difficult to find but he traced it and rectified the problem. We would fully recommend him. He was polite, friendly, thorough and ensured everything was up and running before he left. Thank you Andrew for your excellent service.

Andrew came and installed a new fuse box and electrical shower for me which was both neat and professionally done. The installation of the fuse box was not straightforward due to the instability of the wall. However, he overcame this challenge and found a way of securely mounting it in spite of the difficulties he faced and the time it took. He is a consummate professional and nothing is too much trouble for him. He explains things as he goes along and gives a great deal of helpful advice. especially with regard to electrical safety. Helpful, accommodating, efficient and responsive. Did an installation test for my house on Tuesday, came back on Friday to do the remedial work, and sent the report through the very same day! I particularly liked how Andrew talked me out of some additional work because it wasn't going to fix my problem - ie he is clearly trying to do the best job for the customer, won't get you spending money unnecessarily and will talk through possible solutions so you can make an informed decision. Would recommend to others - in fact I already have!

I had an emergency where the cables of the kitchen lights were exposed because the painter and decorated thought he could install a new set of lights but the connections wasn’t as simple as he thought .
