We first used Rollings Renewables back in 2021 for the installation of an EV charge point. We were very impressed with the service and when we began to look into solar/battery options, we had no hesitation in going back to them. I would best describe myself at the start of this process, as far as home solar is concerned, as someone who knows just enough to be really annoying to someone who knows the industry inside and out. To his eternal credit, Paul was incredibly patient answering my endless questions & revising the quotation countless times as I pivoted from one idea to the next. Once we had settled on a system, Paul and his team took care of our G99 application and once that was approved, we agreed installation dates. The teams we had on site for the install were faultless; they were considerate of our home, efficient and incredibly diligent in ensuring the finished system was as neat & tidy as possible. Update 23rd July : So, our solar installation has now been in place since the end of April and we’ve been exporting consistently during this sunny summer we’re experiencing. We’ve been really pleased with the installation, subsequent operation and after sales. Yes, we’ve had a couple of teething problems but nothing significant and dealt with quickly and agreeably by the Rollings team. I could go on but easier to say we’re just totally satisfied with Rollings and our Sigenergy Solar installation.

After discovering that half our house had no electric and checking the fuse board with no signs of a trip anywhere on the board, I contacted Rollings Renewables with the hope they might be able help as they were local to us. I spoke to a lovely lady named Charlotte and a nice guy called Corey, between them they managed to diagnose what could potentially be the problem and Corey managed to track down a part that would fit our fuse board. Having explained that only half our house had power they said they would get their electrician out to us that day around 1pm. Luke turned up before 1 and got to work on our very fiddly annoying fuse box. Unfortunately the problem was worse than we could have predicted and that meant a new fuse box was going to have to be fitted. However Luke managed to put a temporary fix in to hold us until the fuse box arrived. The team at Rollings Renewables are fantastic, customer service is exceptional and they are just a really lovely bunch of people. They had us back up and running in no time. Highly recommend.

We have just had a 23 panel installation over three different roofs with a 10kW battery. From start to finish our experience with Rollings was very positive. I always think it's hard to get the measure of a company if everything goes without a hitch, so when we hit a bump in the road it was reassuring that Rollings were quick to respond and quick to resolve the issue. The chap leading the job on site was a very nice guy - professional and polite and very easy to have around. When we hit the glitch their full time roofer who is part of Rollings team came on site and gave us real confidence that they took our concern seriously and they would complete the job to a high standard. Again, very polite and professional. They even went above and beyond fixing a couple of cracked slates for us that were already broken before they came. The site electrician was great - very tidy, very professional and a pleasure to have in the house. I could honestly say this is a company that really cares about the customer experience and makes real efforts to ensure that the customer is looked after. Top job, top company.

Paul, Corey and the team from Rollings did a great job installing our system. They were very helpful throughout, guiding us from system selection, all the way through to commissioning. Once the parts were in it only took them a week to install our 37 panels and 45KwH Sigenergy battery. The team were always helpful, polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a solar system. Plus we are now earning money on our electricity rather than paying any bills!

I visited Rollings EV Solar and Storage, a local Worcestershire firm, after seeing one of their vans parked on an electricians driveway nearby. After visiting the company who gave me a lot of very sound technical advice and conducted a site survey I placed an order for an 8.2KW Giv Energy battery storage system. This was to back up solar panels fitted by a different company in early February this year. Lead times for the supply of these batteries involved a wait of a few months, not helped by Covid logistical chaos! I had an advisory call a couple of days ago from Rollings that the installation was scheduled for yesterday 01/12/21 and two very competant electricians arrived at 08.30am prompt to start work. I cannot fault any aspect of their work and can't praise Luke and Sean enough for their very neat and efficient workmanship. The job was finished around 4.0pm and properly commissioned following some Giv Energy technical support. Great company and first class employees. No hesitation at all in recommending! Went back to Rollings today 01/09/22 with a request to assist in filling out a form to register with the District Network Operator (Western Power Distribution) a prerequisite for exporting power to the utility companies, the solar panel installer having failed to do this for me in spite of repeated requests to do so. Western Power Distribution were helpful and emailed the correct registration form and Corie at Rollings very kindly filled out all the required technical information for both the existing solar system and the battery storage that they had provided, including an electrical schematic diagram and sent off the details. Once again first class customer service, going the extra mile to be as helpful as possible in resolving this long standing problem.

Instal was 3 years ago, solar & battery. All great at time. Today I had questions about buying EV charger and how it fit with my system and Charlotte was very patient and informative. Excellent aftercare as ever!

A most definite 5 stars - Rollings Renewables were excellent and I would happily recommend them to anybody without hesitation. The owner Paul and the install team for my 26 panels, 20kwh batteries, invertor and EV charger were polite, professional, and knowledgeable; any queries I had were answered to my satisfaction. The works started on the date I was advised of and agreed, as was the scaffolding that was removed shortly after completion of the work. The lads on the install team even replaced some existing tiles that were damaged (rather than just installing the panels over them) and a repair to some stonework on the chimney, which was very much appreciated. The install team clearly take pride in their work, and the install went without any hiccups. I work in construction and I must say the workmanship was also excellent. I first started looking into solar panels in October 2025, carrying out research to establish what set up I needed. I obtained numerous quotes some of which were based upon a remote survey and some following a visit to my property. One company that visited were quite pushy about signing a contract and whilst I did not sign up on the day of the visit I decided to go ahead with them at a later date and paid a deposit. Subsequently there were queries I had that they would either not answer or if they did, I received a vague response, I also noted some unfair contract terms. I received a call on a Friday stating that they could start the following Wednesday, without having made an application to the DNO, I began to feel really uneasy about proceeding with the installer as there were too many red flags, and I decided to cancel the contract and request a refund of the deposit. I must say that was one of the best decisions I have ever made, as was the decision to go with Rollings Renewables. Having previously received a remote quotation from Rollings I made contact to discuss my requirements, which had evolved since the original quotation. Over a period of a couple of months, I kept contact with Paul to assess different options, and Paul was extremely patient responding to a lot of questions. With options agreed on and queries answered upon receipt of an up-to-date quotation I decided to go ahead with Rollings and Paul visited my property to undertake a survey. I would like to stress that Paul is not a pushy salesman, in the nicest sense, but an electrical engineer, at no stage throughout my contact was there any pressure at all to sign a contract. Once the survey was complete, I received a revised quote to account for some changes that I had asked for, and I was happy to go ahead with Rollings. I also liked the fact that Paul gave advice on the set up I wanted and not off the shelf solutions offered by some of the companies I received quotes from. Rollings also have a good warranty offering, much better than most of the other quotations I had received. The DNO application was done prior to starting the works and as mentioned previously the works started on an agreed date in February 2026. For what is a significant investment I put my trust in Paul and his team and I was not disappointed. It is quite clear that Rollings Renewables have so many 5-star reviews for a reason – service, quality, price, and work ethic. If you want to have work carried out to an excellent standard by competent installers, on an agreed date and for a reasonable price you will do no wrong appointing Rollings Renewables to carry out the work.

Regarding the joint installation of a Vaillant heat pump and accompanying solar panels and batteries: Originally, I got quotes from one of the 'big boys' (a national energy company) in this line of work. The quote was cheaper, but their reviews were awful. I decided to take Which? (consumer association) advice and look for a trusted local installer. After a brief bit of Googling, I came up with Rollings. I was a bit disappointed not to find reviews for them on the main review sites (Trustpilot etc.), but I'm glad I stuck with Rollings. There team was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Corey completed quite a high-tech survey; he was very professional, and a cut above the other surveyor I had from the other company, who insisted on calling me 'mate'. The chaps who managed the installation were brilliant. Very polite and considerate, managing the installation within a week. There were one or two niggles along the way, but they were very good at sorting things and coming up with solutions. In the early days (pre-installation) communication was a bit of an issue (but, I suppose, understandable with a very busy company). John and Pete (part of the installation team) are particularly worth a mention, but the whole team were great. My system is now up and running, and even doing much better than anticipated, keeping the house toasty warm at a flow temperature of around 30 degrees! I was a bit apprehensive, given the sizable investment, but I'm glad I made the leap. Thank you Paul for a great installation. You should be proud of your team!

We have had a home battery storage system supplied and installed by Rollings Renewables and couldn't be more pleased! You know how nothing ever seems to go right in this world? Well, for a great change, this went perfectly. Arrived on the promised day. Took a little longer expected so worked Saturday to finish off. And owner Paul Rollings is as kind and helpful as can be with aftersales assistance. Highly recommended.

From initial discussion through designing my battery and gateway system to full install Rollings Renewables were professional and efficient in all they did and delivered a Sigenergy system that is now providing us with cheaper, green electricity and giving us security of supply through power cuts. Great experience with Rollings Renewables. Paul was very patient with us over the 4 months we explored the best option to meet our needs. Not a pushy sales experience at all which is very refreshing. Sigenergy battery system and backup gateway now installed along with a set of rear roof panels. The whole fit process (inc scaffold removal) was completed in less than a week and the team were respectful, polite and professional. Early system impressions are great and we are likely to return for extra battery and panel capacity at some point. Charlotte and Corey have been great in relation to logistics, handling the National Grid admin and general support. In our opinion - you can use this company with confidence.

Despite the bad weather all the team worked really hard to get the job done and at the same time they were also very accommodating and really tidy. We thoroughly recommend them for their dedication, attention to detail and professionalism.

I used Rollings Renewables over a couple of years ago to install a large solar array and battery to complement my existing EV charger. I did a lot of research, and they appeared to be the best company by miles in terms of quality. I'm sure we could have had a cheaper installation or installer, but little things like using the larger cable from the solar array tipped it in their balance. Paul produced some quite detailed predictions over energy production as part of the quote, and one of the reasons I delayed reviewing them was because I wanted to make sure they were accurate. They weren't - if anything, they were too conservative! We probably haven't to pay for electricity over two years including charging the car when you factor in exporting and cheap rates. Couple of slight issues with the configuration cost them a star - the original EV charger install used a hub which wasn't actually required when the battery controller was installed. The engineer admitted he wasn't sure how to configure the system, but when the system failed initially it was soon rectified. Also had problems with the EV charger failing to work last week which was a pain in the proverbial (and also reminded me to review them). The installers had added a CT clamp and wireless communicator despite the EV charger already having a wired CT clamp fitted. Apparently the manufacturer said you should only have one CT on the incoming supply, so they sorted that for me on Friday after I'd factory reset the EV charger. All the staff were pleasant, and the installing engineers were nice chaps who did a good job. I would recommend them without hesitation. Anyone need a Myenergi hub?!

Earlier this year, we started shopping around for a local company to install solar panels for us. We had already persuaded ourselves that this was the right thing to do from an environmental and a financial point of view. We found Rollings Renewables on Google, and the first thing that occurred to us was that they had a lot of five-star reviews. We also drew comfort from the fact that it was a local family-owned business. Paul Rollings quoted for an installation including solar panels, inverter, battery storage, electric car point, and technology to keep us powered up, even when the grid fails (which it does quite a lot in the country!) Our requirements were in part quite unusual, e.g. the car charging point was away from the property on a driveway, requiring a trench to run the cable to it. Some of the bigger firms would shy away from such an inconvenient aspect to the work. We had also asked for a very “joined up” solution from an operating point of view. We didn’t want a gaggle of apps to get familiar with. Paul and his team delivered what we wanted and the team who did the installation showed great respect for our home and kept disruption to a minimum. In fact, we were so impressed that we asked Paul to quote us for a heat pump also. We have now had all our work done, and we have been very impressed with the results. Our house is greener, warmer, and much, much cheaper to run. There were some delays during the installation process (for the heat pump) which were down to the suppliers that Rollings Renewables were working with. At the time, this was quite frustrating, but Paul and his team kept us in the loop and worked hard to get the project across the line. At all times they put us at the centre of everything and worked hard to make sure that we had hot water, even though we were without heating for a few days. In short, Rollings Renewables work hard to look after their customers. Even when there were delays, we still felt valued and we trusted them to deliver. They left our home immaculately clean and tidy, explained how everything worked and they opened a door to a very sustainable and frugal future! A special shout out to Luke, Pete, Simon, John and Dave – they are great ambassadors for the company.

If, like I was, you are thinking about investing in a solar panel and battery system, you’ll probably feel like it’s a mind field and with the information you’re gathering, a little overwhelmed. We had a number of quotes, a couple online from national firms and a couple from local firms. With the nationals, you’re mainly communicating over phone and email, which can get a little frustrating. With the local firms, they want to visit you and discuss your requirements. Both were really good. A key factor for us was, we wanted all cables, batteries and inverter to be installed in a detached garage and as such, we had concerns as to how smart it would look (hate unsightly cables on show). What really tipped us towards working with Rollings Renewables was a number of things. We met with their sales rep Cory Revell. He was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and gave us more information and things to consider that the nationals didn’t. What I really liked was, that whilst the first quote they provided was a little out of our reach, he was willing to look at other options to achieve what we wanted without any compromise (we didn’t need to reduce the number of panels, size of invertor, etc) to help provide the best system within our budget. Another really important factor for us is the after sales service and what they are saying we will get, whilst it has yet to be tested, gave us real peace of mind. We were invited to their offices to discuss further and have a look at various systems. Very smart set up. Once we’d agreed systems and the price, including the free bird protection (this is extra from others), Corey took the time to explain the next steps and that their lead engineer and roof specialist would be doing a survey to manage expectations and meet our requirements. We were introduced to Luke and Simon. Great lads. Know their stuff and specialise in their own areas. The survey went well and the installation date was agreed. We had a Team of specialists working on the job. Young Tom concentrated on the set up in the garage (inverter, Batteries and all of the cabling to make it look really smart) whilst Simon (15+ years working with roofing systems) and John (qualified electrician with 10+ years industry experience installing these systems) concentrated on installing the panels and getting them connected. All overseen by Luke who offered some great advice (encouraged to have 4 solar panels on the front of the garage to capture the early morning sun and start generating energy early so we had continuation throughout the day). Then, we decided to have an eddi to compliment using any excess energy the house isn’t using to heat the water in the tank. I can’t speak highly enough of the great job the lads did. They are ambassadors for the firm. Professional throughout, all questions answered, and expectations managed and met. And if there is a bump in the road (we had a little one) they have the solution so there is little disruption to the install. And before the final instalment of the payment was asked, Corey returned to go over the app that comes with both the solar and the eddi and answer any final questions we had whilst reiterating that we can call them at any time. Rollings Renewables is a family run business. We’ve even been contacted by the owner Paul who too was interested to know how it all went. They specialise in a lot of areas (solar, battery storage, heat pump, aircon or EV charge point) so if you’re thinking about any of these things, it is worthwhile getting in contact with these boys!

Rollings Renewables did the initial installation of my car charger, and then moved it from one property to another when I moved house. Not only did they do a brilliant job at this - working through some unexpected extra problems to overcome around internet connectivity - but their technical support over the phone in terms of setting up the car, charger and app was excellent. I will certainly use them again in future for other home improvements.

So glad I went with a local firm for my solar panel installation after 2 years of virtually trouble free generation I had a slight hiccup rang rollings direct and electrician came in less than 24 hours ( all sorted now) well done Rollings I wonder if other companies would have been so prompt, doubt it.

Initially I spent a long time looking at different solar companies and got a number of quotes . Some gave competitive quotes, but I felt they were trying to sell me what they had, rather than listening to what I wanted. Rollings gave a good impression on their initial visit and I subsequently chose them for the job. The installation comprised solar panels, Tesla battery and a car charger. The guys that arrived to carry out the install were very careful not to cause any damage and the groundworks were reinstated extremely well. (You'd never know they dug up my back garden to lay cables) Any concerns or queries were swiftly dealt with and my system has performed flawlessly since the install. I had no hesitation recommending them to a neighbour who also extremely satisfied with his system.

Communication!! I actually chose heatable for my solar and battery installation, however Heatable sub contracted the job to Rollings Renewables. With project delays due to technical issues, and other circumstances out of their control the project was delayed somewhat! After a bit of back and forth, and hopefully lessons learnt on the communication front, they finally agreed to use a fixing system compatible with the Fatra membrane on my flat roof. I can't fault the installation team they where graet, extremely neat and tidy, managed to route all cables through the house using existing boxed in pipe routes. Very knowledgeable and proffesional. Paul spoke to me personally to offer apologies for the time taken to get the system installed, which I am extremely grateful for!

After doing research and having a few other companies out to give me a quote, I decided to go with rolling renewables. They are family run and my main concern about installing solar panels was a job that would be messy. Corey came out and discussed the proposal with me and from the initial stages it was clear that the work was going to be done to a high standard. Originally I was looking by at 17 on the roof, however it was explained 2 more could be aligned to hide the wiring to make the job neater. In the end I decided to go with 21 panels. All flush and neatly on the roof, wiring also hidden. Furthermore a power wall was installed into my garage neatly and has been allowing my house to be off grid since implementation. All of the company who attended were attentive and answered any queries I had. Furthermore it was suggested an eddi which heats my hot water tank has been installed so no need for the boiler since implementation also. Would recommend this company for any work to be carried out and pricing was below others that I looked at

Rollings Renewables have been Incredible. From their knowledgeable advice from initial enquiry right through to fitting the service has been fantastic. In addition, when we needed our panels fitting in a hurry to help move our build project along they pulled out all the stops to get everything sorted for me as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, as they were to me. I will be going to them in the future for all my needs of this nature.

This will be the second time I have used Rollings Renewables for Tesla Powerwalls and a solar panel array. They have been great throughout and dealt with what was a fairly complex installation, that also required some groundworks. I would recommend them any time and will be ordering a third expansion in the near future.

Been thinking about having Solar Panels for some time. Then the neighbour soured me on so I contacted Rolling Renewables. The initial visit was pretty straightforward and a date was agreed for installation. the process is actually quite simple, although our roof tiles were not the simplest to fit to. Having said that Paul and his team took every tiny challenge in their stride and fitted the panels in such a way they are hardly noticeable as you approach the house. Every man in the team were respectful, pleasant. and clearly proud of the work they do. The after service also appears second to none. It doesn't feel as if anything will phase this crew. If it needs doing its fun. our biggest challenge is to slightly modify our way of using energy to match the solar generation and battery use. To be fair thats not a bad thing. we'd clearly got in to not so ideal habits. Thank you Rolling Renewables for all you have done.

After speaking to several providers and being sent quotes, Rollings really stood out from the crowd. Paul was very knowledgeable and I felt no pressure sales at any point. Importantly, Paul listened to what we wanted and came up with proposals to suit us. Installation took place in early October, the work was exceptionally neat and I've been really pleased with my set up of 25 panels, Powerwall 3 and Zappi charger. I've also been grateful to receive some after sales support with one or two queries from Corey and all of the documents relating to the install were quickly produced and received. I've no hesitation in recommending Rollings, proof a local family run provider can and do trump the bigger national outfits!

Having done considerable research on Solar and invited several companies to quote for supplying and installing we chose Rawlings Renewables. Contacted Cory in their sales dept. who came over and gave a quote. Cory was extremely knowledgable about the product and answered my whole list of technical questions. Rawlings offered the very latest Hyundai/Tesla equipment and as a small family firm offering supurb service we decided to go with them. They certainly didn't disappoint, the install was done at the scheduled time, the quality of instalation was first class, the two guys who did the install left the site very clean and tidy and explained how to use the system in great detail. The whole process from initial quote to install and commission was seamless and I cant recommend Rawlings and their staff highly enough, they were superb. 11/10

I had a consumer board upgrade, heat pump with hot water tank and battery storage installed and then invited them back to install an EV charger. Aside from a few teething problems with the particular battery storage, which was due to the manufacturer and which Rollings Renewables made extra site visits to assist with, all went smoothly! Friendly, professional and I would certainly recommend them.

A Renewable Rollercoaster: My Experience with Rolling Renewables While I don't doubt the credibility of many of the reviews I've read about Rollings Renewables, none of the reviews align with my own experience of this company. Therefore, I feel inclined to share my perspective At the outset, Rolling Renewables seemed like a dream come true. Quick to respond, they conducted a site survey and whipped up a quote faster than you can say "solar panels." With all my research and a clear vision of what I wanted and where I wanted it, I thought this was a match made in eco-heaven. I had sourced my own kit and simply needed Rolling Renewables to handle the installation and the all-important MCS paperwork to enable me to export excess electricity back to the grid. The Red Flags Begin to Wave The first red flags fluttered in the wind during the installation. There were a few critical elements of the install that the staff failed to clarify with me. I put in extra effort to keep things moving, thinking it was a small hiccup. In hindsight, had I known then what I know now, I would have drawn a line in the sand and gone with a different installer. Communication Breakdown The installation kicked off in late April and wrapped up in early May. Another communication issue reared its head regarding my GSE in-roof mounting system. They didn’t update me on this until I chased them down several weeks later, asking when the install would be completed. The upsetting part? They didn’t just fail to tell me the issue—they somehow made it feel like it was my fault. The Installation Team to the Rescue Kudos to the installation team—they were brilliant. They completed their part efficiently. However, when I called about the MCS paperwork, I was told they were too busy with an upcoming exhibition. It felt like they had taken my money and now couldn’t be bothered. I followed up again a couple of weeks later and was met with a slew of implausible excuses for the delay. Stuck in Solar Limbo It's been three months since the installation, and my DNO is still waiting for commissioning paperwork—something that should have been completed on the day of the install. Oddly, the paperwork was dated a month after the actual installation. All I want is an export MPAN, but they can’t seem to be bothered. Meanwhile, I’m pushing approximately 25-30 kWh per day back to the grid without getting any rebate because the office team is too busy. The Final Straw My contention is that paperwork is part of the installation and should be treated with the same importance so customers can move forward. It’s a process, albeit complex, but essential. Now, I find myself caught in a void, going round in circles with a company that makes promises they don’t deliver on. If you’re considering Rolling Renewables, be prepared for a ride—a renewable rollercoaster that might leave you wishing you had taken a different path.

Fantastic service. I've had a solar system fitted twice on two different houses so I know a bit more than some and Rollings Renewables are both competitive on price and offer excellent after installation support. The quality of the workmanship can clearly been seen on the installation in my current house. The installation team were very helpful and cleared up after themselves, I was earning money within a couple of weeks and will be pretty much self sufficient for most of the year except the darkest winter months of the year.

A friend recommended Rollings Renewables after their installation as I was a little unsure about investing in solar panels and battery. However, from my first meeting with Paul I was totally reassured I was doing the right thing to have solar energy. Rollings Renewables installed an EV charger at my home. After being let down by the service offered by one of the big name brands, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Rollings. The installer got in touch to provide an ETA. They were fantastic professionals upon arrival - taking on board my request for where the charger should be situated as well as checking I was happy with the wiring ahead of full installation. The engineer also worked with me to ensure the power went off at an appropriate time as I was on meetings at the time. It was great to work with Rollings and would recommend them to anyone. I had heard of RR previously but by coincidence they were the contractors installing my EV charger which they did efficiently and neatly and with consideration for future solar plans. I was impressed enough to get them to do a subsequent solar panel quote. Again their design was careful to consider the aesthetics and practiality of the install and not just blindly throw a solar system in. Excellent follow up and service from Paul.

After ordering an electric car through work, I was advised to source and order a home EV charger. Honestly, never having had an EV car before I was a little unsure where to go. After finding Rollings Renewables online, I called. Paul was very polite and helpful and agreed to visit as I had some queries. He advised on exactly what would be needed and was very patient in describing every detail. After receiving the quote, my car arrived sooner than expected and Paul managed to re-schedule my install sooner to accommodate me. On the day of install, the guy was timely, polite and efficient. Quality of the install was great and he was also very helpful explaining the Zappi unit to me. A few days after this, I received all of the paperwork and certificates regarding the NICEIC. Scaffolders, ground worker and the installation team arrived promptly. All really nice people , easy to get on with. They all worked so hard. There was no mess. Part of the patio had to be lifted to hide cables, you would not know anything had been done. All replaced as new. Great company to deal with 👍 Had just moved house, got booked in nice and quickly for an EV charger install. It was a relief to put the 3-pin charger away. Competitive price for both the MyEnergi Zappi and Ohme Home Pro. I went with the Zappi. A tidy job done, they even hoovered the driveway of any brick dust. In good time I will be back for a quote on solar, batteries and a heat pump.

Having used Paul before back in in 2019 for a new consumer unit, the quality of the work and attention to detail was fantastic. Having recently reached out to him regarding the installation of solar system with a battery prior to receiving a new EV, Paul was able to go through several options to find which best suited my requirements and price budget. Paul was extremely patient with me as I had many questions regarding the installation, best EV charger etc. We decided to go ahead with the installation and was able to have everything installed and commissioned within 2 weeks of placing the order. Having decided to uprate an existing solar panel system I decided to look for a local firm as had altrready delt with one of the big conglomerates. Top class work by Luke. I have a 14 year old Solar System and my meter readings were clearly far lower than expected last week. Contacted Rolling Renewables Ltd, spoke to Charlotte and she advised me clearly, sent me an inspection quote. Luke came 3 days later, checked out my System, found I needed a new meter. Installed new meter, with improved wiring over existing wiring. Delighted with the professional work, very tidy all round. Excellent Service. I have an existing solar panel system, coming up to 13 years old. The inverter packed up and needed replacing. Spoke to a couple of companies, then contacted Rolling Renewables. Spoke to Paul, who is very knowledgable regarding solar and battery. He explained that I needed to “replace like for like” so as not to invalidate my FIT payments. I chose this moment to discuss battery storage and made arrangements to meet Paul in his show room. (Well worth a visit) He was excellent and explained all my options. I am a person who asks lots of questions and Paul answered them all. The inverter was fitted by Luke. He set up the wireless connection and explained how it worked. He also went through my questions regarding battery storage. A credit to the company. Finally, they are very competitive on price, at no point during discussions were they “pushing” for a sale. I've been really pleased with the professionalism of Rollings Renewables, from the first visit by Paul to discuss requirements and put together the quote, through to the installation team who did a superb job to minimise the visible impact of the installation and the excellent after sales support. I'd had a couple of other quotes, but the confidence in their product and advice on the installation convinced me to select them. In the first few weeks of use the system has significantly reduced my electricity costs, even with limited sunlight, by being able to take advantage of an off peak tariff to top up the battery overnight.

Rolling's recently installed a full solar system at our house in Upton upon Severn.. From the first quote to the final commissioning they were very professional and did all they said they would. Quality of the installation was good and the price was very competitive. The only slight hiccup was than the internal electrical engineer turned up a day early when i was at work. But after a short chat they agreed to come back the following day when i was home. Luke the installation engineer, was very pleasant, very thorough, and certainly knew his stuff. he also left the area clean and tidy. i would certainly recommend Rolling's if you are looking for a solar installation I wouldnt hesitate to recommend rollings

Fantastic experience from quote to installation of a GivEnergy All In One and Gateway. The installation guys were great, and extremely careful to clear up any mess that was made. They asked for my opinion on a few things to make sure I was aware what was being done. System install was completed and left working. I did come across a couple of teething issues as I learned more about the system, not totally unexpected with brand new equipment I guess, but the important thing is that Rollings were quick to respond and got the issues sorted quickly.

Car Charger in a detached garage. I requested a quote. Paul came round to visit the site due to the complexity of the job. He was very informative and explained the work needed. The job required a lot of groundworks. Simon left the site as he found it and done a fantastic job. Luke completed all the electrical work. He not only did a fantastic job, he also tidied up some existing electrics and explained how to use the app and charger. Extremely professional and polite. After struggling for 10 months with an alternative supplier we switched to Rollings Renewables who in less than 3 months supplied a difficult 13 panel installation on a three storey gabled roof with a 10 kwh battery in the basement in a straightforward efficient way with which we are entirely satisfied.

Corey very kindley sorted this out for us. If this is how a company helps people who weren't their customer I can only imagine how well they will look after you if you choose them for an installation. We have recently had a sizable installation over 3 roofs which was carried out totally painlessly. From initial contact to sign off, we were kept fully informed and not pressurised in any way. A true family run business with the professional touch. Apart from providing a few mugs of tea (my offer!) we had nothing to do and at the end have a system which instantly started providing power for us. Great to have visibility on the App as well. Great service by the team at Rollings Renewables. I have recently had a Givenergy battery and inverter system fitted. At the beginning Paul listened to what I was after and gave me several different options from different manufacturers. Settled on the Givenergy system as in my personal opinion, it’s give the best performance for the price. Anyway, come the day of install, the team arrived nice and early and other than me supplying them with coffee, I didn’t really hear from them until they need to test and show me how the system worked! The guys set the system up and demoed it to me before clearing away all evidence of their visit. Since install the system has run perfectly and I haven’t paid for any peak rate electricity since!!! The only electricity I’m paying for now is the night rate when I’m charging my Tesla. But even that is reduced as the battery helps charge the car and replenishes for free during the day on solar. Basically the system has done exactly what I wanted it to and currently will pay for itself inside 2 years! Great feeling not having to pay the bloodsucking electricity bill! Anyway, as you can see from the photos, I am boxing the battery and inverter in, just for extra protection and to stop prying eyes lol Fully recommend Rollings Renewables and have done so to neighbours and friends who are also interested in saving money long term on electricity!

Paul, Charlotte, and the team provided us with a 10 panels solar system (2.95kWp) fitted to our detached garage, with a SolarEdge Inverter (3.6kW) and two SolarEdge Home Batteries (20kWh storage). The installation was very neatly done by a fantastic team of four and everything was integrated into our existing solar system (4kWp) and Zappi EV charger. Corey has been super helpful with remote management of the commissioning and the initial bedding in. The system is performing well and we are self-sufficient on most days including car charging and overnight grid top ups when we have long trips planned. We would definitely recommend using Rollings Renewables, they were of great help in designing the best system to expand our existing system and gave us loads of advice without any pressure to buy or have specific equipment. We will definitely be having them back to switch to a SolarEdge home backup system when they are fully released in the UK, so we can keep the lights on in a power cut. If we could, we would give them 6 stars for service, professionalism, and customer care, but they will have to settle for the maximum of 5! The SolarEdge kit "Just Works" and when SolarEdge fully release the battery control in the app it will be the system I dreamed of.

I just wanted to post a review of Rollings Renewables following the install of PV panels and SolarEdge inverter & battery at our home. From the initial inquiry, through to install, commissioning and aftercare, Rollings have been an outstanding company to deal with. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable and honest on the different types of systems available, to work within your budget. Corey has been incredibly helpful with the software and setting up of the system. The installation was undertaken professionally and very efficiently. Within 24hrs of completion we were benefiting from significantly reduced electrical bills! We had a minor issue with the battery not speaking to the inverter following a SolarEdge update but within 24hrs, Rollings came out to adjust the settings and since then, system has operated amazingly and has very much exceeded our expectations. Rollings have been a fabulous company to work with. One of the main reasons we decided to proceed with them, is that they are a local, family run business. We have already recommended to neighbours and will continue to highly recommend them to friends and family.

It wasn’t the easiest of installations, and I think I was a fussy customer who knew what she wanted, but they accommodated that and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. The whole process from start to finish was stress-free with the added bonus of dealing with a really nice bunch of people. Communication was great, with any questions I had via email answered quickly with all the information I needed. Rollings bent over backwards to fit my system at short notice before we went away on holiday, including changing our minds about what exactly we wanted fitted and where. Rollings Renewables were recommended to me by a friend who had used them to instal an EV charge point. I contacted them and they very quickly booked in a date for my charge point to be fitted just by me giving a simple explanation of what car I had, and where I wanted it fitted, along with a couple of photos. In the run up to the fitting they kept in contact with me and gave me options for colours of the charger and lengths of cable. The fitting was done on time and to an excellent standard and they also gave me help on setting up the Hypervolt app and guidance on using the charger. What a thoroughly decent company, dealing with decent products. Installed a 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery at my home in St John’s, to work with my existing 4kWh solar panels and they were so punctual and professional. The owner had cause to call out to discuss an aspect of the installation and just wanted the find a solution rather than give me a problem and a compromise. Clearly a well-run company, employing hardworking people. Equally reassuring is the technical support. Very informed and efficient. Love my battery. Paul and the team were excellent from start to finish. I was aware that our house would need a complex install and was dissatisfied with other companies that had done remote Google Earth surveys to quote. Paul came to our site, did a free of charge quote and discussion of the system I was interested in. He confirmed where there were installation challenges for the solar PV and EV charging point, gave me solutions and options to consider. I was very interested in the Myenergi products and have installed their Zappi and Eddi with the PV system. Today was our first sunny day since install (Jan 2022). We generated 13kw which charged my hybrid car battery with excess solar and then some further excess heated some water. We consumed nearly the full 13Kw that we generated. The install was complex but the results were worth it.

Powering our home from Solar generated power was a goal of ours for a long time... thanks to EV Rollings, we are living the green dream. We knew from the initial discussions in their welcoming office that we could trust them to deliver. Corey is ridiculously bright and passionate and along with Paul and Charlotte the install was very professional and super smooth. Everything was done properly and we learnt a fair bit along the way asking loads of questions. Big shout out to the expert install team; Luke, John, Aiden (and the scaffold team) who were wonderfully focused, considerate and hard working. Considering it's winter with short sunlight days and poor weather, we're delighted with the performance of our 19 panel array + Tesla Powerwall 2. Yet to use the Zappi 2 charger but it's all set-up perfectly for the EV we'll buy in the summer. The Tesla and Solar Edge Apps are easy to use and blissfully useful. Well - from Paul talking through the options, taking time to consider alternative routing of the cable, then to Luke with Aiden carrying out the installation - expectation has been more than achieved! Rollings EV were brilliant in fitting my new EV charger. From Paul's first visit and advice through the full installation, their service was great. Because my installation was "tricky" being a listed building and the charge point being a good distance away from the fuse box (which had to be replaced) I was expecting problems. But these guys turned up on time and did everything required with minimal disruption and absolutely no mess. Also I still can't see how Simon dug up my gravel drive, laid 20m of cable and put everything back exactly as it was! If I couldn't see the cable connected to the charger and the charger working I would have said he hadn't touched the drive. Thanks for a great job guys.

The installation date was brought forward due to a cancellation, I was very grateful for the earlier slot in, addition the installers arrived @ 8am. Prior to the installation process the staff were very helpful and gave me as much of their time regarding the type of charger and where best possible to install. I decided on the Indra EV charger due to the fact it was made locally (Malvern). Overall..!! outstanding service and first rate installation. Would purchase again from Rollins EV.

Rollings EV are a small family run business, so you get the personal touch, but at the same time very professional. I contacted them from a google search and they came back to me quickly, carried out a site survey efficiently and, as they had the battery in-stock, did the installation in a few days. That includes securing all the necessary permissions. The guys that turned up on site were polite and professional. They had all the best kit (vans and tools) and got the job done in a day. The battery they installed weighs 125kg, and they had to carry it into my cellar, which they did without a scratch. This work has allowed me access to the cheapest electricity tariff on the market at 8p/kWhr. This will save me money in the long term. I am a happy customer.

These guys fitted an electric vehicle charging point at my home. After my power supplier fitted an isolation switch, Rollings EV then fitted the charger. They were punctual, polite and helpful. They tidied up after themselves, left everything in good order and, as this job was done during the Coronavirus pandemic, they wore masks, kept their distance and disinfected the area and door handles once they'd finished. I would definitely recommend this company.

Luke completed the installation competently, courteously and tidily - bearing in mind that we are still operating under corona-virus rules. The specification was appropriate and the cost as expected. I had a Rolec wallpod installed by Rollings Electrical Ltd, Paul came out to my property to quote the job, he arrived on time and was very informative on the different types of products I could have installed. I found Rollings Electrical Ltd to be fairly priced. Luke was the electrician/ engineer that installed the wallpod. Luke was extremely professional and he took pride in his work and fitted the pod very neatly and his work was very clean and tidy . Once Luke had finished installing the wallpod, he demonstrated and explained how to use the app and the pod it self. Five star company and a very happy customer.

He returned to the property with a colleague the following week to rectify the issues identified on the EICR. Paul's company did an electrical safety check for me prior to the purchase of a new property earlier in the summer and as a result he identified that we needed a replacement Consumer Unit to comply with new regulations (The old one had fuse wire !!) In addition I requested some new wall lights fitted and one or two other small jobs whilst there today. Paul came and did a electrical test on a house we were purchasing. It came back with very clear recommendations about what needed to be done. Although we shopped around for a quote based on the test results, Paul had the best quote and was very flexible in arranging the work to be done at a time that was convenient to us. Paul made a very detailed inspection of the requirements for my new 9.5kw shower. A new 15 outlet consumer unit was fitted with around 15 meters of 10mm cable, This runs from front to back of the cellar then up the outside wall in a conduit into the bathroom. Then under the bathroom floor to the shower position. Nick ( milk and 1 sugar) and Sean ( milk and 2 sugar ) did a great job on this complex installation. They very neatly installed the extractor fan without incurring any damage to the bathroom ceiling. ( |How did they do that?!) The job was completed in one day to a very high standard and very competitive price, I selected Rollings Electrical after getting five different quotes. I am very glad I did! I can highly recommend Rollings Electrical and will be using then again for two or three other jobs I have in mind. They are honest, reliable and pleasant to deal with. Great company. Great job!
