Solar PV Tech Ltd

Good communication throughout the process. The ASHP install went very well and we're pleased with the result

What a fantastic customer service! wonderful support. I have full confidance in the engeneering capability, I would highly recomend them for all your SOLAR needs. Thank you. R.H.Moore

Very professional yet Very laid back All the questions I asked were given a good answer would certainly recommend to a family member

Solar PV replaced our old inverter and fitted a new storage battery. Very competitive price Great service , friendly knowledgeable staff, overall a very positive customer experience . Highly recommended

Our installation comprised 25 panels, gateway, inverter, battery and EV charger. The skill of the installation team was impressive, as was their positive attitude, especially given the awful weather - incessant rain and wind - in which they had to work. Electricians Callum and Jim made sure that all cables, boxes etc. were as neat and unobtrusive as possible. The previous planning by Ralph - his knowledge and his patience with all of my questions - was both informative and reassuring. The office staff always responded immediately to my calls. Carly made sure that the grid application prior to installation and the collection and handover of documents afterwards proceeded without a hitch. In short, the entire team were outstanding and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Solar PV Tech.

If I could give Solar PV Tech Devon more than 5 stars, I would. After having an absolute nightmare experience with a previous installer on my original system, I called Solar PV Tech Devon to come and replace it. The difference in quality, expertise, and professionalism was night and day. From start to finish, the team was brilliant. They took the time to assess the system left behind, explained exactly what needed to be done to set things right, and completed the entire replacement seamlessly. Their workmanship is top-tier, tidy, and executed with real pride. It is rare to find a company this reliable and transparent. If you're looking for an installer you can actually trust to get the job done right the first time (or fix someone else’s mess!), look no further. I couldn't be happier with my new setup and cannot recommend them highly enough!

From the moment you enquire re Heat pump followed by survey then insulation you are guided all the way and kept fully informed Highly recommended

Very professional Installed quickly Great back up

Last month we had a heat pump installed by Solar PV Tech. It was the new samsung model which we are very happy with, everything is working as it should and the installation team were great, lovely chaps who were very professional and thorough. The team in the office were also excellent, they were able to explain all the relevant information (as we knew very little) patiently and clearly, and the quote was competitive. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

Very professional quote and installation. Always happy to provide additional information and help along the way. All the kit is good quality and compatible with Smart tarrifs. Very Happy and would recommend.

This company have installed both solar panels and a more recent battery system. The team are both knowledgable and efficient despite having a few initial issues with the new battery system

1st class from start to finish. Solar PV Tech recently completed a 24-solar panel installation on our bungalow (20 on the front and 4 on the back) which was a great success and completed in a day. We want to say a big 'thank you' to the team that were here. They worked extremely hard, were very professional and friendly, and left the site and our home immaculate, a testament to their workmanship. WELL DONE! We have no hesitation in recommending Solar PV Tech to do your solar panel installation.

From start to finish the whole process took only one month, the guys worked in terrible weather and manage to get a neat install of solar and battery completed on my property. straight away I noticed a 80% drop in my electric use i could not be happier with the results.

Had solar panels fitted at our bowls club in Watchet and Solar PV were excellent. Very quick from initial meeting to finish, neat job and all technicians very friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend.

Solar PV Tech were brilliant from start to finish. They explained everything well.I kept asking multiple questions multiple time.Every time I got the reply to my satisfaction. The job was very neatly done as I wanted. All the cables were in Trunking and meters on the panels to look neat rather than on bare walls. They even favoured me by putting my previous EV charger cable which was just stuck on the wall.system is working fine.Thank you team.Full 5 stars

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, always at the end of the phone for any queries. Clean, tidy and professional and very courteous. Very pleased with the product and installation. Installation was carried out within two weeks. Price was very competitive. Best decision we made and would highly recommend Solar PV Tech.

We are extremely happy with the installation and support from Solar PV Tech Devon. We initially asked 5 companies to visit for a survey and to quote. One national company just wanted to use the google satellite image which we rejected. Of the rest, Ralph from Solar PV was the most helpful and honest about a solution and quoted for panels and two different suppliers of the Inverter, Gateway and Batteries (Tesla and Sigen). We compared the quotes in detail and whist Solar PV was slightly higher we chose them based on their support, the benefit of a local company and their knowledge. We opted for the Sigen system as this was modular and easy to upgrade. We should have installed the EV charger at the time but we didn't have an EV car. But quickly realised the benefit of having Solar, both for the environment but also as a safety net against rising prices globally! Solar PV have been brilliant in installing the EV and helping us set it up. The installation team were very professional providing a very neat and tidy installation and taking us through the set up on the App. They are a very friendly team at the end of a phone or email (no battling with a 'bot' to make ourselves understood!). We have nothing but praise for them.

We were initially referred to PV Solar by our neighbours, and after our experience, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering installing solar. From our first meeting with Ralph, where we discussed the type of system we were looking for, through to answering all our questions on the quote, installation, and final delivery, the entire process was smooth and managed really well from start to finish. The office team, particularly Carly, were always friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout. On the day of installation, we were expecting the work to take a few days, but the team arrived promptly at 8:30am and by 5:30pm everything was fully installed, up and running, and the site left clean. Even the scaffolders were on time and efficient in removing everything afterwards. We were genuinely impressed that the whole job was completed in just one day. The handover process was clear, helping us to understand how to get the most out of our solar and battery system. Since then, the ongoing remote support has been excellent, allowing us to fine tune the system and maximise its efficiency. Pricing was also very competitive. We obtained three other quotes, and there was only ever around a £500 difference between them and PV Solar, making the decision even easier given the quality of service we received. Overall, PV Solar and the team have been an absolute pleasure to work with. We’re delighted with the result. Now we are looking forward to the summer sunshine to boost our solar!

Solar panels, inverter, battery and Zappi unit installed recently. It was a very positive experience with the installation being carried out promptly and professionally. Everyone involved was friendly and efficient, even sometimes in challenging weather conditions, so am very happy to recommend the company.

We are very happy with our decision to use Solar PV Tech to install our system. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, knowledgeable and polite. We had an issue after install which was helpfully sorted out without question and included some extra hours of work for the electricians who were absolutely brilliant. Our install was a little different however Solar PV Tech gave solutions not problems. Happy to recommend!

I had 12 solar pannels and a battery in april all went well got the app on my phone , i was shown every thing on the app all done in 1 day Have not had my first electric bill since heres hopping it will be low paul torrington

What can I say. March 11th I received the quote, signed the contract, March 18th, 13 Solar Panels, 1 inverter, and 1 Battery fitted, up and running mid morning the next day !!!. Brilliant. Big thank you to Callum, Phil, Sam, Cam and Oscar the dog for a full day of hard work. I was amazed how much they achieved in 1 day. Also, big thanks to Max, Mark, Carly and Shontelle for making everything run smooth in the background, all the documents, guarantees, etc. Very very impressed. I would have no problem in recommending Solar PV Tech to anyone. Again, thank you all. Kevin Littleford.

We are so happy with Max and his top team! They prepped our new home perfectly for solar panels, all on budget, and made everything really easy. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and took the time to explain exactly what we needed to know. A great company with a brilliant team – we can’t recommend them enough! Thanks guys

Solar PV Tech installed our solar panels, inverter, battery and gateway last year. They also reinforced our roof structure, replaced the roofing material (which was well overdue) and dug in new conduits under the garden to take power and data cables prior to installing the solar panels. From the first survey through to the final installation the whole team were both professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they overcame any challenges with ease due to their extensive experience and can-do attitudes. Their scaffolding and digger contractors were also very friendly and professional too. They did a lovely job on the roof replacement first and the panels are very neat as well. Overall we are very pleased with the installation and have been generating plenty of green energy, even during the winter months. Our electricity bill is now massively reduced even after 7 months. I would highly recommend this local firm to anyone considering a green energy project for their home or business.

We’ve recently had a solar installation carried out at The Freedom Centre by Solar PV Tech. This process has taken us a while due to factors outside of the control of Solar PV Tech and yet they couldn’t have been more helpful along the way. Nothing was too much trouble for them so in the lead up to the installation my experience was first class. I thought it couldn’t get better but my experience of the installation was amazing. Highly professional, prompt and very efficient. I give them 10/10 for everything. Very happy customer.

Solar PV Tech made the whole installation process simple for me. An easy to follow, very competitive quote followed by a very quick turnaround on installation. Thoroughly recommended.

Having recently had Solar PV + battery AND an air source heat pump installed near Braunton i can highly recommend this local team. All made very simple and easy to navigate, from the initial visit we received a prompt and detailed quotation. With a great price and reputation we gave the go ahead and despite our hectic schedules within a few weeks it was done. The panel install team worked under threat of a brewing storm in some pretty rough weather to get the job done. Brett, Jim, Abby and Callum on the tools, and the whole back up office team, were all friendly, helpful top tier professionals. Thanks Solar PV Tech :)

Delivered as specified, some issues with scaffolding, but overall pleased with result

Excellent service, the gas boiler packed up just as we were about to replace with air source pump. Solar PV fitted a new hot water tank early to allow us hot water prior to the rest of the work taking place.

I used Solar PV tech and had solar panels fitted. They were local which I think is so much better than a national faceless company. I had great comms before during and after. They fitted it on the day they booked. Did a great job and I was pleased with the price. I am now saving money on electricity every day. I think in summer it will be free all the way. Thanks

Solar PV Tech were recommended to us by two families in the village as being local, reliable and wallet friendly. From initial contact to completion took less than a month, with all the information we requested being provided to help us to make the decision, without any pressure whatsoever. The work was carried out expertly and at minimum inconvenience to us. The price was excellent too. We are already seeing the benefits of the system even with the weather we've been having over the 6 weeks since the installation was done in mid-December. Definitely one of the best decisions we've made and I would wholeheartedly recommend Solar PV Tech.

Great service from the team at Solar PV Tech. They installed my solar panels and battery when they said. The team onsite were efficient and friendly. The admin team handled paperwork and the necessary forms needed for my energy supplier really well. The system operation and app were setup and explained clearly. I recommend them completely.

Absolutely first rate service. Communication and work was first class. Would I recommend- 100% From start to finish- superb.

We are extremely pleased with the panels, battery and inverter which were fitted in March 2024 to our house. Performance is as sold to us by Solar Tech with our electricity bill now greatly reduced. Attention to detail by the Surveyor and Fitters is a strong point of the company, with care being taken to ensure cabling was run through difficult roof voids so that there is no exposed cabling in the house or on the roof. Another positive is Solar Tech being able to remotely monitor our system so that if a fault arises (none to date) it can be quickly fixed as they are just down the road. Price wise- very competitive. We really do recommend Solar PV Tech to anyone thinking about having a PV system installed. (retro fit or new build.) Go local !!!! Andy and Jenny Boyce N Devon

From office to field, this company were absolutely fantastic! Communication, politeness, punctuality, neatness, tidiness and price, these guys were brilliant! We would highly recommend!

Throughout the whole process we have been totally impressed with all the team at Solar PV Tech, our Solar was fitted so quickly and professionally and the support throughout and post fitting has been nothing less than excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering going Solar. Thanks all, great work.

Look no further – Solar PV are fantastic! We worked with them on both our GSHP and solar installations, and couldn’t be happier. From the very start, Max stood out with his knowledge, clear explanations of available funding, and his approachable manner. Once we appointed Solar PV, Olivia kept everything running smoothly with regular updates and efficient organisation. On-site, Brett (GSHP) and Jim (solar) were personable, professional, and clearly very experienced – a pleasure to have around. We even got to meet Brett’s dog, Wally, which was an added bonus! Solar PV is a lovely, tight-knit company delivering phenomenal work, and they continue to provide excellent support for first-time GSHP and solar users like us. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

Work all done in 1 day (16 panels) very neat and tidy, no mess left and fully explained as to how everything operated. No hesitation in recommending them for anyone considering solar or upgrading their current equipment.

After having a close shave with a solar installation company associated to a major national energy company and then being shunned by some other local companies, I discovered Solar PV Tech about 18 months ago. Ralph provided a quick, no hassle quote after explaining all the options. Their technicians fitted the panel and battery system which has worked faultlessly ever since. Having realised the benefits, we've wanted more. So it was the obvious thing to return to them and have a second battery fitted. Jack came out, what a pleasant guy. His work was neatly done and organised very quickly by the company. Now to reap even more benefits. The company can't be faulted. Highly recommended. They have fitted 18 panels, inverter, I-boost and two batteries. Win, win..... UPDATE..... this system has been superb, the ability to reduce monthly outgoings and save is addictive. So I've recently asked the company to upgrade my inverter and add an EV charger. Once again, all done to a very high standard. Cant recommend them high enough.

Quality job from 'a small family business'. I had several quotes for a solar panel system. I went with a cheaper option (BIG MISTAKE). Once I had extricated myself from that error, I accepted Solar PV Tech's quote and their process started. Ralph was a knowledgeable salesman and the company did not chase me forever for my decision. Once I accepted their quote I always spoke to very personable (family members) in the office who were also knowledgeable when answering my queries. I visited their premises (unusual I think) to pay the installments. (I was hyper-sensitized due to my experience with the first company!) There was a slight glitch when I was deciding where to locate the inverter and battery but quickly resolved. Scaffolding company excellent and it was not an easy job for them. Installation day arrived as did the Solar PV Tech team (6-7 people) who all introduced themselves to me. Installation was Day 1 with Jim, the electrician, returning for Day 2. He didn't leave until I was comfortable with how the system was and knew how to use the associated app (with which I am now obsessed and check frequently!) After installation, I needed someone to come to check something on the roof and someone came around the same day as they were aware of the issue. The scaffolding was removed within a week. I've also called them with a question since and they've been happy to assist. My learning was that in situations like this you get what you pay for. They were quality and when you're messing around with electricity and your roof, quality is important.

Brilliant from start (initial liaising and measuring and reassuring) to finish (with lovely workers from scaffolders to installers of solar panesl and battery). Also full information and guarantees provided.

Very polite, knowledgeable, faultless service provided. Installation was quick, neat and tidy - wonderful service! Aftercare since has been spot on - would recommend to others without hesitation - fabulous local, family run company that still gives personal service! Thanks so much for the great job! Solar PV Tech are friendly and highly professional. Came out and did a site survery and took the time to answer all my questions. When faced with a small hitch with the install of the panels, they dealt with it efficiently and without any drama. If you are looking for a Solar PV install, these guys come hightly recommended.

Solar Tec Devon have just installed 16 solar panels and batteries to our property. Cannot praise them enough, from the moment they gave us the quotation, the company have been really professional and done an amazing job. All the staff have been really pleasant and helpful. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service great price

Excellent service, from initial survey and quotation to final installation and commissioning, I was impressed by their efficiency and competitiveness and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Updated my inverter and had a battery installed. Excellent workmanship carried out by an efficient and very tidy engineer. Working well.

Solar PV Tech came and fitted a couple of batteries to our solar panels (which they also fitted 10 years ago!!). A lovely tidy job, completed in a day, and everything explained so even i could understand it! I wouldn't use anyone else. I Highly Recommend them.

From the start of the quote through the installation and any questions I asked everyone was very friendly and explained it all to us. Would recommend to anyone.

At the quotation stage Solar PV completed a detailed in person survey. This created a great first impression and feeling of trust. They provided a reasonable quote which we then followed up with more clarification questions. The fitting teams also gave a feeling of confidence and trust. I would definitely recommend this local north Devon team…… ……and yes we are already enjoying the benefits of Solar and battery instead of mains supply!

Installed 2 batteries and inverter, your guy as excellent.

Quote reasonable, people really helpful, installation neat and tidy. All brought together with knowledge of the product

We recently had solar panels, two batteries and a car charger fitted by Solar PV Tech. We found them helpful with advice, efficient and reliable. We are very pleased with the outcome and have no hesitation in recommending them for similar work.

Excellent service the installation was quick and hassle free

Solar PV Tech deliver a most professional service, answered all our question very happy to recommend them

Very good advice and service received. Highly recommended.

Solar PV Tech Devon were great throughout the whole process - site visit, quoting & information, installation, handover & after care. They were professional, friendly & did a really tidy job when they installed our solar panels & battery system. We couldn't recommend them enough.

Very pleased with all the work done for us by Solar PV Tech, competitive pricing, helpful with any questions and a pleasure to deal with.

We recently had a solar installation fitted on our house in Combe Martin by Solar PV Tech. From the initial quote, everything was extremely smooth, professional and efficient. All the workmen were polite, professional and respectful of our property. We are VERY happy with the final result and only wished we had done it sooner. Many Thanks for a job well done.

Fantastic company, so glad I choose them. They installed solar panels and battery, heat pump and radiators. They are extremely pleasant at every level, very thorough, the after care was brilliant and the quality of the product and the installation is second to none. I was happy to just leave them with the keys when I was working which speaks volumes. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Solar PV Tech.

Very pleased with the Solar installation the inverter and associated wiring / systems is very neat and well laid out. Customer service has been fantastic. I have recommended Solar PV Tech to friends and will continue to do so.

I always try to leave a balanced review for others to read and there is a slight negative but it was massively outweighed by the positives. The only solar quote to personally visit. Ralph offered impartial advice for both future proof and basic solar systems. The quote was the most reasonable and included a detailed description of each item breakdown. A 6KW inverter was fitted with permission from the grid that Solar PV Tech sorted on my behalf. Scaffolding lads were top notch and they let us have the scaffolding up for longer so I could replace fascia boards. The slight negative was a mistake with recognising the deposit come through so there was a slight delay with fitting. Honestly it mattered not because the contact, quality and professionalism from start to finish was superb. My thanks to the whole team. I’m proper geeky with how many KW I’m pulling from the grid!

Great company, very professional and well priced. Very happy.

A very good company to deal with from start to finish. Fair prices and a good service.

Bobby did an excellent job of fitting our wood burner today. All done within just a few hours!

I contacted Solar PV Tech with regards to the supply & installation of solar panels for domestic use and the service received from start to finish was excellent. I’m so pleased to have used a local, family business and highly recommend them.

From the original visit to the scaffolding going up, solar fitter and electrician. It all went very smoothly. Very happy.with my solar panels, batteries and inverter.

Extremely efficient company, communication excellent, work carried out to a very high standard, left everything clean and tidy- would recommend to use this company should you need Solar Panels you definitely get an excellent service at a very reasonable price

The Solar PV Tech team were fantastic, from quoting to installation it was an excellent service. Everyone we met or spoke to was so helpful, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and communicative. Bobby and Cam made such an excellent job of putting our wood burner in, we’re absolutely delighted with it. Couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough.

Used this company for my solar installation and I can honestly say they were brilliant, had 18 panels battery inverter and iboost installed. Absolutely first class, had a second battery installed a year after the original installation which created a couple of problems, but, send an email and within a few days an engineer turned up and sorted it! 5/5!

Thank-you for your fast efficient service when we wanted to install a battery for our array of 12 solar panels. Jack set everything up and explained the whole thing to us.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Solar Pv Tech Devon. From initial visit all the way through the fitting they were professional, friendly and so so efficient! We now have a woodburner fitted in time for Christmas and it’s like it’s always been there. Thankyou so much :-)

Very professional company with some very friendly and efficient staff. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Had solar panels and a battery fitted a few months ago, cant praise Solar PV Tech enough. From the first survey to the fitting of our system they were helpful and professional.

20Kwh PV installation with battery storage installed at our local rugby club and pre-installation, installation & post installation service has been excellent. Can strongly recommend.

Solar PV Tech conducted a 7.5KWp solar system with 15KWh Pylontech batteries and Solis Hybrid inverter. Communication was excellent from survey to completion and issue of certificates. Install was conducted professionally and price was excellent.

Do not go anywhere else - these guys are the business!! From the initial sales chap, to the office team, the roofing guys, and the electricians - all brilliant! Our system is amazing and the installation was neat and professional. I'm fussy, and there wasn't one thing I could complain about. We initially signed up with a national company, and that turned out to be an absolute disaster. So glad I found these guys!!

I've had a new solar PV system, as well as an air source heat pump combined with an underfloor heating system from SolarPVTech and they have been outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable, great communication, turned up when planned and completed the job quickly with no over run and were very clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

From the start to finish amazing job, aftercare outstanding. Very friendly and professional. The advice for the needs of Solar Technology that you do not know, there advice is exactly correct. The result was outstanding. 👍 When installed how much they know their job. The returns are Amazing ,Great job well recommended. 6 stars.

Fantastic service from original enquiry through to final installation.

Solar Tech installed a new solar panel system and batteries at our property. They also installed our Air Source Heat Pump, plumbing and radiators. If I could give 6 stars I would. These guys went above and beyond at every single turn. I was one of those annoying customers that had 101 questions. Not only did they take the time to answer, they suggested ways to improve my own ideas. I did my homework. I had quotes and contact with 4 other companies and they didn't compare on price or customer service. One company I had a quote from was almost £20,000 more expensive. I'd also researched the best manufactures and recommended solar and heat pump products. So when I received my quote, I was delighted to see that Solar Tech use these products. The aftercare is brilliant also; any questions I have I just pick the phone up and it's sorted.

Very happy with installation of solar panels and battery which was done this spring. From initial visit by Rhiannon and subsequent dealings with Olivia and Rachel all helpful and professional.

Once we had got the quote and accepted it, it all happened very quickly. The installers were efficient and thorough. We had an issue with our battery but solar pv sent a couple of chaps who sorted it out. Communication with the team was good. We're very pleased with our system and it's looking like the payments we will get for our exported power should cover our standing charge and mains usage.

Solar PV are a friendly, professional firm who fitted solar panels, inverter, I-boost and battery storage for us earlier this year. From start to finish they were helpful and the installation went without a hitch. Afterwards all the documents needed for exporting to the grid were sent to me as soon as available. I would recommend, without hesitation Solar PV

A decent installation, quickly installed. Some reservations around the app by Sunsynk, which has seen an upgrade recently and our equipment is now missing from it. Hopefully that'll be resolved soon. Estimated electricity saving from the installation is 60-70%, we've not done a winter with the system yet, but we're hoping for similar savings since we don't use our hot tub in the autumn / winter.

Installation of 12 panels in early April went smoothly with minimal need for return visits.System, which includes batteries and solar water heater, has worked smoothly and performance is impressive. No complaints, only praise - and I can't think of a nicer firm to deal with. Highly recommended

Solar PV Tech Devon have recently installed a Solar System, Batteries and I Boost at our home and we are very pleased with the out come. The Survey was undertaken very quickly with a detailed and clear report. The staff who undertook the work were very able, efficient and tidy , it was completed in just over a day. The office staff are very helpful and kindly. We are very pleased with the outcome and the vastly reduced electric bills, well worth the investment.

Would give this company full marks for our installation and quality of workmanship, well done guys and thankyou!

I obtained in the region of 10 quotes from various installers and decided to use Solar Tech Ltd based on my interactions with Ralph (surveyor) and Olivia (office) and their solar package offered, competitive price and importantly a local installer to me. Just had my Solar array installed today with inverter, battery and I boost. The 4 man team were brilliant, tidy, friendly and above all competent. Very happy I chose them. Thank you Solar Tech Ltd!

Absolutely useless, not interested at all.

Great company, good to deal with

Great team, turned up on a wet and windy day 9am and all complete and working by 5pm. Very professional, very neat installation. Would thoroughly recommend this company from installation to admin team. I had to delay the install by 4 months but they were happy to hold for me.

These guys are brilliant. Cannot recommend them highly enough. They installed solar panels at our property last month and were professional and really friendly. They did a great job and we are thrilled with the result. Don't hesitate, go for it!

Thoroughly recommended :-)

6 stars, I want to give these guys more! Great job, good price and very friendly. Go for it!
