Reviews

Norman Wildblod and Co Ltd t/a Wildbloods is described across several reviews as professional and helpful. One reviewer praised the friendly, helpful service when chandeliers and wall lights were taken down before a house sale. Another described staff as polite, respectful and courteous when a hob was fitted, and a further reviewer said the electricians who carried out an inspection were helpful and had a sound grasp of the technical details. A reviewer said a technician was polite and got both TVs working, and another said staff were very polite, friendly and informed during electric boiler repairs. Criticism included one reviewer being unhappy at paying £75 for a Dyson cleaner that was not repaired, another who called a £35 TV assessment charge an unfriendly service, and a third who disputed being charged for more than two hours and called it a rip-off.
I’ve used Wildbloods Electrical for many years now for both personal electrical work and larger commercial projects, and they have never let me down. Alex is my main contact and has always been outstanding — professional, reliable, and genuinely invested in getting things right. The team consistently goes above and beyond, and whenever I’ve had questions, they’ve been quick to respond. Alex has helped me numerous times over the phone with advice on electrical items and installations, which has saved me a lot of time on site. Highly recommend Wildbloods Electrical to anyone looking for a trustworthy, efficient, and knowledgeable electrical contractor.
Ollie who carried out the work for us was professional and extremely knowledgeable. His attitude and tidy workmanship made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to come across tradespeople who combine such skill with great customer service, and I felt genuinely confident in his quality of work. Thank you for providing such a high standard of service — we’ll happily use your company again and recommend you to others.
Alex and Wildbloods have worked across all of our existing care homes in Surrey and Kent for the past +5 years to undertake minor works (Replacing lights), emergency call outs, data cabling, and full EICR's with remedial works. Graham Care, the home managers, and our residents have always been highly satisfied with their professionalism, service, and value.
Where is the list of products you sell?
Excellent local service, from popping into shop with an enquiry to the installation. Can’t rate Wildblood highly enough. Thank you.
I had some electrical work done at my office the work was to a very high standard. I am more than happy to recommend this company. Thank again
Excellent job done with much care taken. Great service. Highly recommend
Anthony and Alex came to help take down some chandeliers and wall lights and make good before our house sold. They could not have been more friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you so much for all your help in a rather stressful time. Would highly recommend their service.
The new modern look of Wildbloods is very impressive, such a transformation! I did a double take and had to look up to see it was the same shop. I ventured in and spoke to a very helpful member of staff. In the near future when I need anything electrical I will definitely go here. I don't shop online as I much prefer to shop local and was really impressed by all the quality products available.
Wildbloods have always professional and reliable, a great family business, wouldn’t go anywhere else
WE WERE RECOMMENDED WILDBLOODS WHEN WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOUSE WHICH HAD TO BE REWIRED. THEY TURNED UP ON TIME, NEVER LET US DOWN AND THE COMMUNICATION WAS SUPERB. THEY EXPLAINED EVERY DAY WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. IT WAS NOT A STRAIGHT FORWARD REWIRE AS WE WERE LIVING HERE!! ( sorry about that) AND SOME PARTS HAD TO BE DONE IN DIFFERENT STAGES. THEIR TEAM ARE EXTREMELY POLITE, TIDY AND VERY EXPERIENCED OF WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY ALSO RAN NEW WIRING TO THE PONDS, WHICH ARE NOW ON TIMERS. I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT THAT IF I HAD A PROBLEM, THEY WOULD TURN UP ON THAT DAY. A*****
My thanks to Alex for getting this booked in quickly. My thanks to Ed and Josh for fitting my AEG hob. Very polite, respectful and courteous. Job done meticulously and to professional standard. This is the second job Wildbloods have done for me this year. (thanks to Matt for fitting my new storage heaters) They are my go to electrical people because I know they will do a great job at a fair price.
Professional service from start to finish. Alex was great at listening to our requirements and working to our budget. Harry and Ed completed the work to a very high standard. We will definitely use again for future projects.
Wildblood's Electricians have always provided my company with a first class service over many years, from initial contact with Alex through to site visits, estimates and then installation for both "Enigma Bicycle works" ( my company ) and at my home. All electricians are top notch, very professional and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend this company they are excellent.
I am Extremely Disappointed. I took my elderly Dyson cleaner into the shop to see if a fault could be repaired. I was told that it would cost £35 for the engineer to look at it, which was fine and I paid £35. When I collected it I assumed that it had been repaired and I paid an additional £40 . On getting it home I found that the problem was still there. I took it back to the shop I was told that the fault was not repairable because the machine was too old. I had not asked for it to be serviced, only whether it could be repaired. If the fault was not repairable why was a full service carried out? Why was I not contacted to explain that the fault was not repairable? I would have been happy with that advice and satisfied to have only paid £35. I have now paid £75 and I still have a useless machine.
Used Wildbloods for some electric boiler repairs. Super impressed with their service, really polite, friendly and informed guys and always nice people on the phone as well. Will be using them again for sure!
We have been a customer of this company for years. When the BBC changed to HD recently, 1 of our tv’s lost all its bbc channels and the other tv lost reception altogether. I called them on Thursday and they came out to us at midday on Friday. The technician, called Callum, was very polite and had both tv’s working 100 per cent very professionally.
Wildbloods of Heathfield is a firm that runs on traditional values - professionalism, integrity, value for money and high quality work. It is very much a family company with a highly committed staff component that includes the management, technical staff, personnel in the shop and office staff. I recently commissioned Wildbloods to undertake a full electrical inspection of the house that we have recently purchased. The two technicians completing the inspection could not have been more helpful. They had a very sound grasp of all the technical details involved in the inspection, and were very good at pointing out the various issues that became apparent during the inspection. The result was a most comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Report - EICR- and follow up recommending further remedial actions. This was the second EICR that Wildbloods have carried out for me. They are without doubt the best electrical firm that I have dealt with and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Wildbloods are he only electrical contractor I would use. I have used their services on numerous occasions and found them to be extremely profesional.
These guys really know their job. Two- not - so- straight forward light fittings sorted exactly how I wanted them. Power points and outside light fitting done as well. No hesitation in recommending this business.
Good for more general purchases and appliances. However, for more specific things (I went in for an exact specification of HDMI cable) it's best to phone ahead as they don't usually carry stock.
Today we had a smart meter fitted and this caused a power failure to the garage etc. outside the house. The fitter send by way of Scottish power could not solve the problem and so I telephoned Widbloods for help. A highly skilled electrician called Geoffrey arrived within the hour and fixed the problem with skill, great efficiency and a great personality. Thank you Geoffrey and your colleagues at Wildbloods. Wildbloods is a fantastic store in Heathfield and they are always so helpful. Thanks also to Paul. A top class business.
Spending £35.00 to take a TV to them that is only suitable for the tip seems like a fool's errand and using this company is just that. Unfriendly service from the start, the dour person I spoke to in the shop seemed far more interested in taking £35.00 as a deposit than anything I had to say. Today I received a call from someone whose accent was so strong I could barely make sense of what he was saying but after me saying 'Pardon' a lot was told the TV was irreparable. Did that really cost £35.00 to ascertain? I doubt it, but Wildbloods seem far keener in taking my money than in showing the least bit of interest in a customer. I will not be using their services, if you could call it that, again.
Charge for quotes! Will never use them again! Phoned to tell me that they had a cancellation and could come shortly, so I had a record of the approx time they left the office. Repaired my oven( although a lot of time was spent looking up how to do it online). The young guy was polite and fixed the oven, which is what I called him out for . A few days before, one of the elements had gone on the hob, I asked for a quote to fix it, but was very clear that I would leave it if it was very expensive as ideally I would like to replace the oven. Shortly after he left, I had a phone call, so once again, I have a record of the time he left. He was with me for an hour and a half, even allowing for 15 mins each way( a 5 minute drive) , he wasn’t with me for 2 hours. When I questioned why I was charged for well over 2 hours, I was told that he spent time looking on the computer for the part needed for my quote!! RIP OFF!
Best butcher in Heathfield by a mile.
An excellent electrical company. Very professional and offer a great service. It's so refreshing to meet young men who are well spoken, well mannered, work to the highest standards and do a great job. Would definitely recommend this Company.
