Uptons Electrical & Security Ltd

Happy with the radiator installation. I’ll figure out the WiFi aspect later, but they have power to them and are working, which is a good sign, as the old radiators were previously not working consistently or at all. Everything appears to have been fitted neatly and the installation went smoothly. Would use his services again.

Nice chap and did a very good !!! I'm really pleased with my new lights .Reasonably priced and very prompt .If I need anymore electrical jobs doing I will be asking him . Totally recommend him !!!

Absolutely fantastic job done today. I had a long list of things I needed doing. All completed efficiently, no mess left either. Thanks so much.

Simple communication and booking. Turned up on time, polite and friendly. Did the job with no mess for the quoted price.

My Hot Tub was tripping my electrics. The Hot Tub Company blamed my electrics. Even before visiting Myles ran through some checks that I could do to try and pin point the problem, other electricians wanted to change my supply. Based on the checks Myles was convinced the hot tub was faulty and not my electrics. He visited the next day, did numerous checks and confirmed it was the hot tub. He provided a comprehensive report which I sent to the hot tub Co. to claim under warranty. Myles was great, knowledgeable and replied to numerous questions after his visit. Can’t recommend enough.

Myles was really helpful and friendly, got the job sorted nice and easy. Would 100% use them again.

Thoroughly recommended. Great service installing my EV charger.

Myles provided an excellent service and was incredibly thorough. He was personable and kept us informed of what he was doing every step of the way in easy-to-understand, layman's terms. Myles was also very competatively priced and I would not hesitate in recommending his services to others.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t be happier with the work Myles did fitting all the lights in our new home. From the moment he arrived, he was punctual, friendly, and incredibly respectful of our property. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the job, and he worked efficiently without ever compromising on quality. Everything was installed perfectly, and he left everything clean and tidy when he finished. It’s refreshing to find a tradesperson who is not only highly skilled but also reliable and courteous. We would highly recommend Myles to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional electrician. Outstanding service from start to finish—thank you, Myles!I

Professional through all my dealings with Myles. Very knowledgeable and actually able to fix our issue when he came out to quote for the job. Very happy with the result and would happily recommend.

Myles came out to do a job for me that has needed doing for a long time. Trying to get hold of reliable trades these days is a nightmare, but Myles proved to be good for his word. He arrived on time as advised. Very informative and gave me options. Job done to a high standard and a lovely chap as well. Will definitely use again.

Highly recommend! Reliable electrician who turned up on time, charged a fair price, and was very helpful throughout. Professional, friendly, and completed the work to a high standard. Will definitely use again. Thank you

Myles recently did a big electrical job at my home — spotlights in every room, all new plug sockets, and first and second fix for my media wall. The quality of his work is excellent and everything was left spotless. Honest, reliable, and very reasonably priced. Exactly what you want from an electrician. Can’t recommend him enough — 5 stars!

Myles came to do an EICR for us. Great service and very professional. Clear communication from start to finish. Detailed report received with 24 hours. I highly recommend Myles for any work you need doing 👍

Myles did an excellent job installing a new socket for me. He was prompt, efficient, friendly and completely professional from start to finish. The work was done quickly and to a really high standard, and he took the time to make sure everything was tidy and working perfectly before he left. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I can't tell you what relief we feel getting an electrician not only knowing what to do but dealing with our problem so fast. Not one other company bothered to search for the right part. Kudos to this company and I'll recommend to everyone. Also we will only ever use this guy in the future 👌👏

I can’t recommend Myles highly enough. He came out to fix my macerator and ended up correcting a lot of faulty work that had previously been done by a plumber. From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about his trade. Nothing was too much trouble for him he took the time to properly diagnose the issues, explained everything clearly, and made sure the job was done right. It was a huge relief after previous experiences, especially with another electrician who overcharged and didn’t deliver the same level of service. This time, everything was handled efficiently, honestly, and at a fair price. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and skilled these days. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone else 😀

Needed heat and smoke detectors replacing (current ones end of life and discontinued) Really efficient and neat job 😊 would recommend!

Great work and very quick. Messaged on Easter Monday to fix a faulty power supply for a shower and he arrived the next day. Really good price and Myles explained exactly what the issue was and what he did to repair. Highly recommend and will use for any future issues we have.

Installed 2 outdoor plugs, two outdoor lights and lights/electrics in the garage and did a fantastic job

Had electrical testing (EICR) and a consumer unit replacement completed in Telford by Uptons Electrical. Myles was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly throughout the job. The consumer unit installation was completed to a very high standard, and all electrical testing was carried out thoroughly. Everything was left clean and tidy, and communication was excellent from start to finish. If you’re looking for a reliable electrician in Telford or Shropshire, I highly recommend Uptons Electrical. Great service, fair pricing, and quality workmanship. Will definitely use again.

Have used Myles a number of times now for whole house light and switch fittings, media walls, and even CCTV installation. Myles is very reasonable, quick & effective! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Very reasonably priced trust worthy to get the job done correctly. Always great work

I found Uptons Electrical and Security Ltd through Checkatrade after posting a job, and Myles really stood out from the start. He was easily the most proactive in understanding exactly what I needed and quickly offered me a Monday evening slot due to a cancellation, which was perfect as I needed the work done ASAP. He arrived right on time, was very respectful (even took his shoes off without being asked), and got straight to assessing the job. What made a huge difference was that he already had Starlink himself, so he knew exactly what needed to be done. The installation was seamless – the dish was mounted perfectly, and the cabling was incredibly neat and tidy. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. I also mentioned needing a sensor light, and he recommended a sensor flood light instead, which was exactly the right call. It’s made such a difference when letting the dogs out in the evenings. Honestly couldn’t fault anything. Great communication, high-quality work, and a genuinely helpful approach throughout. I’d highly recommend Myles and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Did exactly what he needed to do to fix my problem and with minimal disruption. Couldn’t ask for more

Needed an electrician urgently and got a fast response. Issue resolved safely and professionally. Great service and very reassuring to deal with.

Contacted Myles to seek replacement of Consumer Unit to latest specifications / regulations. Current equipment detail provided and requested replacement £cost quoted. Agreed ‘works’ progression and Date proposed for its execution. On the day Myles arrived @ pre-agreed time, completed ‘works’ , fully testing and collating necessary information for Certification requirements etc. Excellent scenario all-round - would highly recommend for any Electrical ‘work’ requirements.
