P.R Electrical

Pete is reliable and straightforward to deal with. He did the works asked for and tidied up as he went.

There’s a reason why you may not have heard of Peter Russell and that’s because he never advertises. He doesn’t advertise as he’s always busy; he’s always busy because he’s brilliant at what he does which, by the way is virtually everything! I could bore you with a (very) long list of all the work he’s done for me, but I’ll just say that he’s a multi skilled craftsmen and certified electrician who can turn his hand to anything. He takes great pride in his work, never cuts corners or takes the easy option. He’s completely honest, reliable and a pleasure to work with. I can guarantee that you’d be 100% pleased with any work Pete undertook to do for you. Oh, one last thing: “No”! I’m not his mum or his granny, just a very, very happy customer!

Pete has done a couple of jobs for us now and has been excellent. Technically very able, clear communication and pricing information, punctual and very efficient and tidy when working. Highly recommended.

Called out late in the day to fix a small domestic problem, quick response, nothing too much trouble, excellent service, highly recommended.

Peter was very friendly, prompt and carried out the required work perfectly for me. Would highly recommend!

Pete is an absolute professional. Highly experienced, knowledgeable, hard working, and excellent at explaining the work involved and communicating with me before, during and after the project was completed. An absolute pleasure to deal with and I'm very grateful for a job well done.

Most helpful electrician i have ever known. Advised me on an ongoing problem over the phone, as he wasn't able to visit. Problem is now sorted! Thank-you!

Cannot recommend Pete highly enough! An absolute professional, highly skilled (ours was a very complex job), and a real pleasure to work with.

I had a fantastic experience with P.R Electrical. Pete carried out PAT testing on my property efficiently and professionally. His attention to detail was excellent, ensuring all appliances were thoroughly checked and safe to use. Pete was punctual, courteous, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend their services to anyone needing electrical testing or inspections. Will definitely use Pete again in the future!

We are new to the area and Pete has been a godsend. He’s carried out testing and investigation work on the whole house and helped us to map out a plan for tackling our project in phases. So far he’s helped us with two rooms which has included rewiring, moving and adding sockets, recessing sockets and switches (which were wall mounted), and installing spotlights. He’s booked in to do our living room soon. Pete is very transparent with pricing from the outset and is very fair and reasonable. He is also very upfront about what does and doesn’t need replacing / doing to help us stick to our budget. He’s really communicative and helpful (including with helping with our endless queries about the suitability of fittings we’re looking at). The plasterers we had to come round also commented on what a good job had been done on patching the walls back up after the cables had been chased in. I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete. This is our first project like this and his knowledge and experience has been invaluable and reassuring. He’s also a really pleasant, polite and considerate person to have in the house. He also leaves the place spotless after each visit.

INCREDIBLE JOB ! I have used Pete on other jobs before so had no hesitation of recommending him to my sister for her complete 'head to toe' rewire. As always Pete was hardworking, punctual, professional, clean, tidy, problem solving, polite and he always went over and beyond on what he had been asked to do to help. GREAT ideas on how to do things cost effectively and reasons behind every decision he made. His finishing is second to none, the work he put into the rewire is impeccable and I can honestly say, without hesitation that I would never use any other electrician again. I highly recommend P R Electrical for any job big or small as you are guaranteed to have the best job you will ever have. Thank you again Pete the bungalow looks fabulous.

Peter came to set up the electrics in our garden studio. He did a fantastic job. Very quick and efficient. Lovely personality. Very helpful and professional. I highly recommend him.

First time using PR Electrical. Peter was brilliant, very friendly and very good at what he did for us, going above and beyond to ensure the house was electrically safe and compliant. I would highly recommend his company. Thank you for all your hard work today.

So very pleasant and reliable. Does excellent job. Comes immediately when he can, which is great help. Would be lost without his back up. Cannot recommend Peter more highly.

Pete was great, I called with an issue and he quickly found the time to come out and see us. He was transparent from the start with his availability, kept us informed throughout and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Wow! You saved my Xmas turkey! Thank you so much. Amazingly honest tradespeople, a rare breed!! Thank you you have restored my faith in humanity

Peter was so helpful and reassuring when I had an sudden electrical break down. He swiftly diagnosed the problem and restored power with an interim safe solution, returning later with a more permenant fixture. He was an absolute and professional hero.

Peter was very customer focused, arranging a visit to deal with our non emergency electrical issue within three days. Peter was professional and fixed the issue promptly with an invoice that was extremely good value for money. We would certainly use Peter again and recommend him.

Absolutely the best. So professional, honest, and excellent workmanship, and such kindness to help at short notice when we really needed it. Would highly recommend; thank you so much.

Pete came and checked the cables and connections of my home to office internet as it was causing some issues. He was thorough, professional and did the job properly. I would definitely use his services again.

Pete has been very helpful, identifying the problem as resolving. He’s very professional and kept us informed at all time, called and turned up when he said he would. He’s work is of good quality, he worked in a tidy, respectful manner. We will definitely use Pete again in the future, and would recommend.

Peter replaced four mains linked smoke/heat detectors in our house. One of them was difficult to reach and a challenge to install. He is expert, conscientious, reliable and a really nice guy. My go to electrician from now on.

Pete installed an EV charger into our property with the utmost professionalism, care to safety and cleanliness. Arrives on time and gets on with what is required. A thoroughly nice person to deal with and will be readily requested to attend our property the next time we require a competent electrician.

Pete works to a very high standard at all times in addition to being approachable & very trustworthy

Excellent service, meticulous workmanship, and highly accommodating. Also very neat and tidy. Would not use another electrician. Highly recommended.

Pete has carried out electrical work for me for many years. He is extremely reliable and always goes out of his way to find time for us. His work is of the highest standard and Pete is a true perfectionist. He is always happy to take the time to explain what is required and the best way to go about it and has a thorough tidy up as standard

If my house had been a car, it's hazard lights would have been on permanently; it was a total disaster. Peter took me on and within months has transformed the entire house and outbuildings so much so that I can turn on light switches, use the sockets and view the CCTV without having to insulate myself beforehand! He is a very accomplished electrician, completely trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. Definitely "Gold Star Worthy". Thank you, Pete.

Pete came to do some electrical work for us in 2017 following some problems that we had encountered with a previous electrician. The work ended up being a complete house rewiring, garage and outdoor wiring and supply for an electric vehicle charging point. We have always found Pete to be helpful, considerate and diligent. He always turns up on the agreed date and is never late. In addition, he is always happy to work late if needed. Pete is happy to source parts and always comes to the job with what he needs for that day; he has never had to leave the site to get extras. He works methodically keeping the client informed throughout and plans ahead for when the electricity needs to be switched off. At the end of the day, he always clears up and leaves the house as he found it.

Peter could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable when he came. Would highly recommend.

I would thoroughly recommend Pete for all electrical work. Over a number of years now, I have used Pete for a wide range of electrical projects including maintenance, rewiring, new build, EV charger and site certification. He is a fully qualified NICEIC engineer whose work is to a consistently very high standard. He is a pleasure to work with, very helpful and conscientious.
