Butler West Electrical Services Ltd

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Butler West Electrical Services LTD Excellent workmanship, great people and a thoroughly professional service! We recently had two electricians from Tobias West’s company Butler West Electrical Services LTD visit our home in Great Dunmow to install replacement LED lighting beneath our kitchen cupboards, covering three separate areas. From start to finish, they were absolutely excellent. Professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly taking pride in their work. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean and tidy, and brought plenty of good humour and friendly banter along with them! While they were here, we also asked them to look at some rather tired lighting above our staircase and upstairs landing. The original fittings had been there for around 30 years and were definitely showing their age, with one fitting almost coming away from the ceiling. They happily tackled the additional work, installing replacement lights that we had supplied, and the transformation was fantastic. Everything was completed in less than half a day, with no fuss, no mess and a thoroughly professional finish. They even took the time to have an interesting conversation about artificial intelligence, which added a little something extra to an already enjoyable experience! It’s refreshing to find tradespeople who combine genuine technical competence with enthusiasm, courtesy and a sense of humour. They were a pleasure to have in our home. Excellent workmanship, sensible and efficient solutions, and a very happy customer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tobias West and his team to anyone in Dunmow or the surrounding area looking for quality electrical work, particularly replacement LED lighting and energy-efficient lighting improvements. Five stars, thoroughly deserved. Thank you, gentlemen!

I had been contemplating having an EV charger installed on my home garage in Finchingfield. I came across Butler West having googled EV installation near me in Finchingfield - seeing that they were based in Great Dunmow, I called & spoke to Tobias West, he came later that Friday morning to survey the site, made various practical suggestions & I received his estimates for two options on the Saturday morning. I accepted the quote for the best option & agreed that the EV installation could possibly be done the following Friday morning. It was a professional, speedy service with no surprises. Work was completed by 3.00pm, carried out by Sam, who was both charming and efficient - I cannot recommend Butler West more highly. Thanks to Toby, Sam & the team. Great work from start to finish.

I'm the site manager at a school in Braintree and have been using Butler West for many years now. A very reliable company and their workmanship is second to none. We have recently undergone replacement LED lighting and Toby was very knowledgeable when explaining the energy saving aspects of the new lights. I would 100% recommend Butler West in a heart beat.

Tobi and his team assessed our electricity bills and gave us clear options on the battery installations that would work best for us. The whole process was easy and we started saving money off our bills immediately - thank you!

Was looking for a CCTV camera install in a difficult location and to tie it into my current set up, a visit was quickly arranged to agree the work and after a fair quote we agreed on a date for the install. Two engineers attended and worked on the outside and inside of the house, super clean job by a couple of great engineers - they were very keen to make sure I was happy with the finished result and happy to get up and down ladders to make sure the cameras were covering the right areas etc. I would highly recommend this great local company, very pleased with the work and the price.
