Purelec Energy Ltd

Purelec have looked after out solar system for some years now and always do a premium job with very good back up.

What a great experience! The staff were not only skilled and efficient but also courteous and reliable. They arrived promptly, worked cleanly, and delivered exceptional results. I'd recommend them without reservation.

Excellent advice, service and support. Cannot recommend more highly.

I’ve used Purlec several times to install solar and two batteries. I’ve always found them reliable and professional.

The whole team from start to finnish were so helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks

With a new roof needed the opportunity to fit solar with battery couldn't be ignored. Brilliant job by the team a Purelec has given us a system that has delivered results in excess of what was expected. As well as generating solar electricity into the battery and then topping it up by buying electricity you then every day sell any excess back at a premium. No regrets, money well spent.

Ross handled our solar installation so efficiently - everything went like clockwork. The panels are working really well.

We recently employed the services of Purelec to give a quote for solar panels with home battery. I was very impressed with how particular Ross was with regards to calculating suitability of our premises for solar, explaining the different siting options in detail. We received a detailed report with his recommendations including how well it would be expected to perform. I felt we were getting a bespoke system tailored to our premises and taking into account our wishes. He was more than happy to answer questions about any installation concerns. I felt confident going ahead with a fairly large investment and was very glad we did. The installation went without a hitch and was performed efficiently and very neatly with top quality electrical work and the services of a skilful roofer to install the panels. This was 3 years ago and the system has performed flawlessly since along with exceeding my expectations with the amount of power generated. Our electrical bills have been reduced massively on the Octopus Flux import export tariff. I can highly recommend Purelec for this type of work for a bespoke solar system installed by a reliable local company.

Purelec Energy have installed solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall at our address. Throughout the process they were transparent regarding costs discussed following a detailed quote. Work was completed to date and on time and I was able to easily contact the project lead, following installation, for advice on how best to manage and use the battery. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you Ross, Jason and the rest of the team.

I was very happy with the installation of my solar panels. The preparation work was thorough, tough there were a lot of recalculations needed due to problems with the planning office which was not the fault of the company.

Highstone used Purelec Energy for the first time this year on a newbuild single dwelling. From the early stages, Ross and his team provided great designs and support with choosing the best system for the client. They proposed multiple options at varying price points so it was easy to make a decision on which system provided the highest return on investment but also suited the clients budget. Ross and the team we're flexible when it came to working around start dates and other trades, which made it easy to book the solar panel install into the tight site programme. The panels we're fitted efficiently and looked great. When it came to installing the batteries and commissioning the system, Purelec found a suitable date immediately, and the friendly team turned up and completed the installation without any issues. Ourselves and our client are impressed with the professionalism and quality of work Purelec provide and will be using Purelec in the future.

Fantastic product and second to non installation. 10 out of 10 for product and workmanship.

Very professional company, I've used Purelec on two occassions, the first was a domestic system where they installed a 5KW solar array and Tesla Powerwall2 battery. The second was at a local Grade II listed church where they have installed 62 panels and a 22KWh Solax battery. Excellent communication and quality of installation. Would recommend.

We have worked with Ross and Purelec for around a decade having 2 phases of solar fitted adding up to 180kWh. Ross has always been happy to answer questions and help out with maintenance and inspections. Purelec work efficiently and safely and I would recommend them to anyone.

Efficient personable service, very knowledgeable and professional, I am a tradesman so I should know. Gary at Grayson Builders Ltd

Great service from Ross and the team at Purelec, everything installed within the timeframe, tidy installation to suit our plant room. The office took the time to explain everything several times over to solar newbies.

What a great experience with Purelec at Lees Hall Golf Club,Sheffield. We were in a mess with our solar project after being very badly let down by our initial contractor and their subbies whose work was substandard. Our system had major faults and was not functioning. Purelec were incredibly responsive, corrected the faults and got us working properly. A great experience. Thankyou!! Lees Hall Golf Club. Sheffield.

We have been working with Ross and the team at Purelec for just over a year, they have been engaging and professional throughout the whole time and more importantly to our scheme very patient. All requests and requirements have been met with understanding and they have shown they are a company who can definitely compete with the big players in the business. I would like to thank everyone involved in our project so far and looking forward to working with each other more in the future.

Ross and Jason were extremely professional throughout. The multi-phase installation was well planned and flawlessly executed, and Jason has also been readily available to answer any follow-up questions. I’m very happy to recommend their services.

The installation met all my requirements and all involved were professional and efficient.

Great company to work with really integrated well with our on site team. Great technical knowledge and communication.

Very professional installation. Really pleased and well worth the investment. Added bonus of free domestic hot water provision when generating. Would highly recommend Purelec

Amazing team who carried out their work with the utmost professionalism. The Solar panels give us a quarterly boost directly into our bank account. Would definitely recommend Purelec Energy.

Excellent Service, they supplied installed some Tesla Powerwall units for us. Very knowledgeable and professional. We are currently using them for another project and would recommend very highly.

Excellent professional and friendly service! Purelec Installed my Tesla power wall previously and did a fantastic Job. I used Purelec again for additional Solar panels, Inverter. Highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼

Top notch team who went above and beyond when installing all our solar, the work was completed very neatly and professionally and on time. Everyone from the Sales and Surveying team to the installers were an absolute pleasure to deal with, an absolute credit to the company, would 100% recommend

We have partnered with Purelec on a few solar projects for our clients and I can say they are very professional, quick to respond and put the customer's needs first! The demand for Solar PV has increased since the energy crisis and I would recommend Purelec to any future prospects! Ross and James have helped me a lot and I look forward to continuing our working relationship in the near future!

I requested an installation on my property for solar panels and battery storage. This was with the aim to improve the energy efficiency of my property and also support green energy. Purelec engaged well throughout the process, were professional and respectful. I recommend them to others considering a solar installation.

Purelec installed a new tesla gateway to my existing system. My old gateway would not let me charge the battery from the grid and did not allow me to use energy from the battery during a powercut. The new gateway does all this but appears to communicate with the octopus Kraken software to maximise my energy savings and reduce my consumption of electricity during the highr charge rate times. The workmanship was superb all the wiring is behind the gateway box and runs within the wall cavity. The commissioning was excellent and the engineer made sure that everything worked prefectly before leaving my system. I cannot fault the work, the engineers attitude or the management they all worked in harmony. A truely great company.

Just over a year since Purelec installed our solar system and powerwall battery. The energy production and savings on our annual bill have been more than expected. The installation was very professional with follow up calls to check everything was working as expected. A year later we’re very happy.

Purelec Energy have been critical to our organisation's positive strides forwards in reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. They are highly professional, client focused, extremely knowledgeable and very competitively priced. They have tendered for four jobs across our buildings estate over the past 5 or 6 years and have won them all. They listen to our needs, help develop an appropriate technical response and deliver on time and budget. The final installation is always first class. They have helped us cut our carbon footprint and save tens of thousands of pounds a year.

Reconfigured commercial FIT meters as moved from single phase to 3 phase to allow a Fronius electrical monitoring system to work correctly. Cost our business £11k in lost feed in tariff as they could not reconfigure system correctly. Left shorting links in CT clamps and used the wrong CT clamps. Incompetent

Purelec fitted our solar panels, Tesla Powerwall 3 and Zappi and the fitters were courteous and efficient and the system is fabulous. However, customer service when you have a problem AFTER is a measure of a companies true integrity and claims and in our case was nil and they were quite rude.Ross was clearly not up to date with building regs on new builds. The fitters fitted the car charger cables to the joists meaning we could not board the garage ceiling which contravened building regs. Worrying they were not aware that new garages must be fireproofed - especially considering car charging fires in garages are on the increase! They would not remedy what was a simple fix without charging us or their mistake so we are now left with the cost of getting another Tesla supplier to remedy the mistake. I hope they care more about the safety of future residential customers with their installs in future.

Had a recent install completed by Purelec, Solar Panels, inverter and batteries. Competitive pricing and good advice. Very pleased both with the install and the pre install and follow up service from Ross and Jason. Recommended.

Purelec recently tendered for a large commercial solar project for us. Although they didn’t win the contract, they were very competitive. We found them honest, organised, quick to respond and a generally a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for quoting.

We have a property from 1903 with a complex slate roof. The Purelec team and their roofing partner, MJB did a fabulous job. Despite unforeseen complexities and changes needed to plans, the end result was top quality... including finer details like immaculate releading, staggered inlaid panels and extremely neat cabling runs. I would absolutely recommend the team to anyone wanting experts at the helm, who clearly take pride in their work and don't compromise on quality.

Purelec have been fantastic to deal with ! Ross, Jason and John worked to design and install a scheme which met our specific requirements, integrating the panels into the roof itself. The standard of workmanship is excellent and we’re really pleased with the final product. We now feel far more in control of our electricity costs than we did a couple of years ago, when prices spiked quite alarmingly. I’m very happy to recommend Purelec, who provide a first-class service !

We got our Solar panels and Tesla Powerwall-3 system installed and commissioned by Purelec. We got quotes from various companies but ultimately decided to go with Purelec because of their professionalism and experience in working on renewable energy projects. Ross was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of good advice during the initial visit. After the quote was sent there were no pushy sales calls and we were given plenty of time and information to understand the proposal. After we decided to go ahead, we were given clear indications of the timeline involved and were kept updated throughout. Communication has been excellent from start to end with Ross and Jason always being prompt to respond to any queries. The install date was made known to us well in advance with the scaffolding going up the week before. The install itself was very professionally handled with the installers doing a very thorough and professional job. The system was put up within a week as planned and the battery installed as promised with the whole system setup correctly on the first day of commissioning. The system seems to be working nicely so far and we look forward to all the energy savings and self sufficiency that we aimed for from this project. I feel very satisfied that we got this done through Purelec as they have been nothing but excellent throughout the process, from the initial quote to the final signoff. I would highly recommend their services for any of your renewable energy project needs.

Can't praise this firm highly enough for the work they have just completed for me. Reliable professionals and splendid communicators -- what more could you ask for.

From the first phone call to the final visit, the team at Purelec have been brilliant, offering great advice, up to date product info, a superb installation quality and great price. Friendly folks, no pushy sales techniques and a high quality of service. What’s not to like?

Purelec came recommended by a friend. Ross was led on the initial chat - really friendly and made the topic accessible, and did lots of hard work coming up with various iterations on a design that hit the sweet spot between cost and performance we were looking for, all with really nice attention to details from the outset (such as where to put all kit, how to run the cables, using optimisers to reduce impact of shade etc). They handled all the communication with subcontractors and (very importantly) the DNO and got our installation approved without a hitch. Installation itself was smooth and painless - both the scaffolding contractors engaged by Purelec and the Purelec team themselves were a pleasure to have around. Tidy, polite, and did good quick work. Would recommend without doubt.

Purelec have been excellent from the initial contact through to the installation of the battery and the solar panels. They were the only ones who came out to the house to discuss with us our requirements, they gave us realistic timelines of when they expected the work to be done. They were flexible when we had decided that we wanted to refit our roof prior to the installation and were able to coordinate with the roofers for the bracket installation. There was constant communications between ourselves and Purelec. The team that attended our house were polite and respectful. They completed the installation with minimum fuss and disruption to our home. Roll on the power generation.

We wanted solar panels fitting as part of a house renovation, and we contacted Purelec after they did a great job on my parents house. The panels were inset into our new roof and look great, the battery and invertor were installed in our loft and the work was incredibly neat and tidy. We hope to be selling our excess energy in the near future!! Many thanks to Ross, Jason and Alex for a great job!

Copy of message sent to company following install. “Hi Jason, Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thanks very much for a job well done. The lads finished the install yesterday and finalised testing this morning. I thanked them for doing a nice and neat job and without any hassles. All in all from start to finish skips, scaffold, roofers & Electricians a very smooth process much appreciated. Thanks again. Richard”

Very professional company carrying out excellent work at reasonable prices.

We had a solar array, battery and car charger installed by PureLec. Service was great. I chose them because they considered the full design and how it would work best in our home. They also presented a range of options and came up with a cohesive design. There was a lead time on the install whilst approvals came through from the council, but after this, install was arranged very quickly. Site team were great, worked hard and completed the install to a high standard. Our array has worked very efficiently since, with no issues. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Fantastic workmanship from start to finish. Roofers, electrains, fitters all the team. Aftercare service superb. Highly commended.

Quite a wait due to an understandable backlog of work. Very good scaffolding contractor used, very understanding of our neighbours by keeping the scaffold close to the house. Very good installation team working in all weathers.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Purelec. From the first engagement, through the installation and beyond, we were in very safe hands. We appreciated the knowledge and expertise, along with their friendly, easy manner and the approach where nothing is too much trouble - this from everyone we met at Purelec.

Very pleased with our solar panels. The work was done without causing any mess. The men were friendly and explained everything to us.

Installation and Commissioning great. All work well Good back up at answering questions Would have been 5* but for delay between order and installation

I spent some time looking at a number of suppliers before deciding on Purelec and the effort was worthwhile. From inintial contact to completion they were professional, couteous and always workmanlike and timely. At the time of writing this we are a full year into our installation and pleased with the results so far. Kaizen

Very Professional and would highly recommend. They installed 2 x Tesla Powerwalls for us and the team were very knowledgeable and did exactly what we asked them to do.

A proficient installation by a friendly competent team, with no post installation problems.

A professional job at a fair price. Very approachable people. Flexible and willing to adapt when my plans clanged at the last minute.

Purelec Energy Ltd were competitively priced and installed my solar panel system efficiently, professionally and safely. A first class installation. Thank you

Very pleased with our installation - we've had solar PV + a battery installed for almost a year now by Purelec. They were incredibly professional throughout, and open to answering any questions. They've also been courteous and helpful with operating advice and follow up queries.

I had solar panels and Tesla Powerwall installed. Great job, efficient installation and explanation of all the tech / app etc.

We, at Baildon Methodist Church, as part of a roof replacement project had a large (40kWp) Solar Panels fitted. From enquiry stage, through a few iterations of solutions, Purelec were attentive to our needs, made some very good recommendations and generally filled us with confidence. This confidence wasn't misplaced. They worked well with our chosen roofer, the equipment was installed without fuss and within our project plan. The equipment looks and performs brilliantly. Many thanks to everyone at Purelec, I'd definitely recommend you!. Gary Picken

Northern Powergrid refused our first choice of battery backup (Tesla), but Purelec were quick to suggest a Givenergy system as an alternative. After a considerable wait for the battery to be delivered (at a time of high demand!) Purelec fitted a 9.5Kw battery and a further 2.4Kw solar array to our existing 4Kw system. This was fitted in a very professional manner with all cabling etc., neatly done. The team were extremely friendly and communicated well. We then asked for an additional 5.2Kw Givenergy battery which was duly fitted and the entire system works well. Very pleased with the end result. Would recommend Purelec and their engineers.

We recently had Purelec Energy handle a solar panel and battery installation project at our home, and we're genuinely pleased with the results. The entire team, including the sales rep, installers, and project manager, were knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to address our queries and offered practical advice for the best setup to suit our home. They were especially attentive when designing the optimal solution for our roof space. Purelec Energy planned for 18 solar panels, effectively maximizing our generation capacity. Additionally, they recommended a 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery and a myEnergi Eddi device to divert excess solar power to our hot water tank, which turned out to be excellent additions to our system. One aspect of Purelec Energy's service that we particularly appreciated was the professionalism and pride the installers took in their work. They were thorough and ensured a neat finish. Once the installation was complete, they answered any questions we had, making certain we were comfortable with our new renewable energy solution. We'd confidently recommend Purelec Energy to anyone considering a solar and battery installation for their home or business. Their reliable service, expertise, and focus on customer needs make them stand out as a provider.

Purelec Energy installed 16 solar panels, an inverter and battery and a diverter on our new house. Although the items took a while to come and it was sometimes hard to get in contact with them, they came through with the product and quality and professionalism of the supply and fitting of the equipment. They filled out the application for connecting to the grid, are MSC certified and the people fitting the panels and equipment were extremely helpful.

We chose Purelec for our; solar PV, Tesla Powerwall 2 and MyEnergi Eddi, Harvi & Zappi installation - after comparing several Tesla-accredited installers in Yorkshire. We are very pleased with our system and found the Purelec team excellent to have on site at our home, and thorough and careful in their work. I am now regularly recommending Purelec to friends and neighbours who are keen to "go green" with solar & battery.

Gave a fantastic service of installing solar panels, Tesla Powerwall battery & Zappi car charger at our home. The work in the garage was exceptionally tidy and the panels are neatly installed on the roof. Would highly recommend.

Powerwall 2 and Backup Gateway fitted to our existing Solar installation. Quick efficient turnaround, safely installed during during post Covid madness. Thankyou Ross and your team.

We used Purelec energy to install a 15kw solar system to our cafe business. Ross was very clear and helpful when it came to quoting the work, and the communication was excellent. The quality of the work carried out by the engineers was also excellent. They were very professional and very tidy. I would highly recommend them.
