D F M Electrical

Donald did an excellent job, fixing a number of electrical issues in my home

Donald fitted an ev charger for us. He took time to chat through our options and it was fitted in our preferred location that necessitated lifting paving slabs. He made sure it was working before he left us and checked later it was still ok. Very pleased.

Highly recommend DFM Electrical. Professional from start to finish. Neat and tidy installation of car charger.

Donald has been great to work with for our EV charger. From the initial contact where i had lots of questions to the actual install. His communication has been excellent and he shows a real passion and care for the work he carries out. Genuinely could not have asked for a better service

Amazingly helpful, called me back within 5 mins of my first enquiry and wanted to help me over the phone if he could then came out to do the work ASAP. Was very friendly, honest and helpful - clearly knows his stuff. He went truly above and beyond beyond for us. Clean, tidy and communicated very well. Would recommend for any/all electrical work.

I recently had an EV charger installed at my home in East Lothian, and I couldn't be happier with the service from DFM Electrical. From the initial survey to carrying out the work, Donald was friendly and professional, and happy to discuss all the possible options for the installation. On the day, he arrived right on time and got straight to work. The installation went exactly as discussed, however it was clear extra effort was put in to ensure a neat and tidy job—the cable is barely visible as it runs around the house to the charger. Donald took the time to walk me through the setup afterwards to confirm everything was working perfectly, following up with sending me a copy of all the certificates and paperwork. When the solar charging feature didn’t immediately appear in the Ohme app, he even went above and beyond by following up with Ohme directly, to confirm it would show up after some time. Fantastic, personal, above-and-beyond service. I highly recommend DFM Electrical for EV installs and any other electrical work.

We recently had Donald install an EV charger at our home, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He took the time to visit us in person before providing a quote, offering several helpful recommendations that we hadn’t considered. The quote itself was clearly itemized and transparent. The installation was completed exactly as agreed and on schedule. The work is incredibly neat and actually exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated the level of care Donald took throughout the entire process. We’d highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a reliable professional.

Had my EV charger fitted and couldn’t be happier with the service. Donald was professional, helpful, and took time to discuss the options. The installation was done to a high standard. Really pleased with the finished job and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get an EV charger installed.

Donald, did a super efficient and tidy job installing our new EV charging point. Would definitely recommend him.

Donald is a great electrician, turned up when he said he would and completed the work on schedule . I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for any electrical work to be done.

Recently had Donald fit an Ohme EV charger for us and very happy with it. I initially thought the job was going to be an awkward one (consumer unit in middle of house, charger at other end of garden etc) but he handled everything professionally and efficiently from start to finish. The installation is very neat, well thought out, and completed to a high standard. It is clear he takes pride in his work. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for an EV charger or any other electrical work. Thanks.
