Solar Severn

Solar and battery install completed earlier today. Extremely happy - top class workmanship throughout. Joe and Owen were great from start to finish and made the whole process really easy. You can tell they take pride in their work and pay attention to the little details. Highly recommended! Edit: Added photo since the scaffolding has now been taken down.

Great job Joe and Owen , I would not hesitate to recommend Solar Severn. From the first visit to make an assessment and through to completion the project ran very smoothly.. The installation was very neat and they were very tidy. Thanks for a great experience chaps.

I cannot rate these guys highly enough! From the first call about my enquiry, through the survey and proposal then working closely with my roofer who was also completing a full re-roof on the house. Owen and Joe were completely professional from start to finish. They worked as a team with my other contractors to ensure that their solar system integrated and matched perfectly with the new roof. Thanks guys... This was brilliant from start to finish

great guys providing a really valuable service. nothing better in this age than a company offering a service and a timescale and then completing the job in those times scales. really got me out of a hole after being let down by another so called reputable local company. i look forward to using them again later in the year to add to our renewable journey

Did a great job installing battery. Kept me informed and finished on time.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Solar Severn Electrical for the installation of solar panels and an EV charger at my home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, Joe and Owen were superb in every aspect of the process. They not only met every deadline but also maintained the highest standards of professionalism throughout. There approach was sensible and pragmatic, ensuring that the job was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption. The quality of the installation is excellent – the solar panels and EV charger look fantastic and blend seamlessly with the property. Joe and his team kept the site impeccably tidy, showing great respect for my home. The handover process was thorough, with all necessary packs provided and clear advice given, particularly regarding switching to Octopus for the most competitive tariffs. This guidance has already helped me save money on my energy bills. What truly sets Solar Severn Electrical apart is their attention to detail and personal touch. Not only was the electrical work carried out to the highest standards, but Joe also went above and beyond by improving my patio, arranging scaffolding, delivering a complete job that exceeded my expectations. The overall service was better value than other providers I had considered, and the level of care and customer service was second to none. If you are considering solar power or EV charging solutions, I wholeheartedly recommend Solar Severn Electrical. You will get excellent value, expert advice, and a truly personal service that makes all the difference.

These boys were excellent! I couldn't recommend them more highly. From start to finish their service was second to none. The whole process was smooth and professional. They are very neat and tidy. I got the impression they really care about what they are doing. Joe even drove an hour away to a reclamation yard to buy some roof tiles that were already broken due to their age. Above and beyond service.

Very pleased with the installation of my Zapi Glo EV charge point in my garage. The installation was completed promptly in the location i requested and Joe took care to complete the installation very neatly and left no waste behind. I chose to use Solar Severn Electrical Ltd following a few quotes for the work as they were competitave in their pricing and I am also keen to support local businesses.

We have contacted Joe and Owen on a number of occasions when problems have occurred with ours and friends existing solar installations. The advice and work carried out has quickly and efficiently solved the issues and it was very apparent the Solar Severn know and care about what they do. When the time came for the big job of replacing our domestic battery system it was a no-brainer to involve Solar Severn. From the initial discussions through quote and installation it has been a absolute pleasure to deal with Owen and Joe. Always responsive and polite it was very easy to discuss and plan the work at all technical levels from hardware location through cable runs to app settings and whole system performance. The work was carried out quickly and very neatly and is a credit to their professionalism. We would highly recommend Joe and Owen of Solar Severn Electrical Limited. A knowledgeable, professional, local, friendly and responsive team. I can confidently say, the best we have dealt with. Simon & Debbie

Solar Severn have just completed our installation of panels, a battery, inverter & gateway. I was incredibly impressed by Joe & Owen's professionalism and efficiency in getting the work done. When quoting they listened to what we were after and made excellent suggestions that have improved the installation that we hadn't thought of. The SigEnergy system is great and they explained how it was set-up and gave a quick tour of the app as well for us. The job has been completed to a very high standard and they have left everything very neat and tidy too. Highly recommended.

I had owen and joe do 2 jobs for me which was to service my inverter and then remove the inverter from my loft and place and secure it outside on my garage extension wall. The whole episode was fully explained, recieving a full report on the service and the relocation of the inverter on 2/4/26 was hassle free and a fully professional service done by this company and i would fully recommend them. They are now my go to people for all things solar. Great job done. Jim, worcester, WR4.

Fantastic service. The guys were friendly, professional, and walked me through every step clearly. They even helped my neighbour when his car wouldn’t start. The whole system was installed and up and running in 2 days. Highly recommended

We have just had solar and battery storage supplied and fitted by Joe and Owen at Solar Severn Electrical - and we couldn't be happier! From the initial contact and survey, through to the sign-off and supply of all documentation, their service and communications were excellent. A very tidy installation, no mess, no fuss and a full explanation and hand-over at the end of the process. And the best of it all....we haven't used ANY electricity from grid since it was installed almost a week ago. Result! We did our research into various suppliers and different equipment and these guys were extremely competitive (especially when compared with the pink 8-legged marine animal company) and had superb reviews. Highly recommended.

The guys at Solar Severn installed a complete system of solar panels, battery storage and car charger at my property. They made it an easy process right from the start, from the initial consultation all the through to the fitting and commissioning of the system. They gave great advice on what products were best and suitable and gave a clear demonstration of how it all worked. I found them very knowledgeable and the workmanship was excellent. As with any new technology it can seem quite complicated, but they made it all very easy to understand and have been there to answer any questions, very helpful. I'm very impressed with the level of service and would highly recommend.

A job very well done and with a minimum of fuss. One of the main reasons for giving Solar Severn the job of adding batteries to our long-standing solar panel system was Owen’s immediate willingness to come out and carry out an onsite survey. He explained the battery system clearly, answered questions, freely, offered good advice and all without a hard sell. Owen and Joe installed the batteries in a friendly manner at the time we had arranged and without fuss or mess. Particular attention was paid to our various requests. Thoroughly recommended.

Quicker than expected and a top job. Would highly recommend.

I can only concur with other favourable reviews ... we're running short of superlatives! A very neat installation of solar panels and battery, delivered efficiently and with great professionalism, with the site left clean and tidy. I was impressed by the personal touch of the initial home visit and by the courtesy shown throughout the work programme. Altogether, great value and I don't hesitate for a moment to recommend Solar Severn to others.

Solar Severn Electrical installed solar panels with a battery at my home in September 25, the installation was quick and efficient, and the attention to detail was impressive. They took great care not to damage my conservatory, directly below where they were working, and even cleaned the conservatory roof when they had finished. Jo and Owen were a delight to work with, they explained everything clearly and the app to monitor the solar input was explained fully and is easy to understand. I have now set the system to AI and am impressed by the fact that despite the recent weather we are still exporting power to the grid, I can't wait to see what happens over the summer, the system also uses cheaper electricity overnight to charge the battery which is then used to run the house at peak times when prices are more expensive. I would highly recommend Solar Severn and the products they install and I couldn't be happier with my system.

Very professional from first meeting, to having the different designs sent through via email to the instillation of solar panels. Excellent communication throughout. At the end of every work day they ensured that house was clean.

Fantastic end to end service from Joe and the Solar Severn Electrical team. We needed an EV charging point installed, Joe responded quickly, quoted accurately and delivered on time. I'm not sure you can ask for much more. All work was carried out to a high standard, even routing cables under a set of steps without any fuss, and everything was left clean and tidy and the new charger tested and fully explained. I would highly recommend Solar Severn Electrical for any EV or Solar installation work.

We had batteries and solar panels installed. Excellent service and support. We have no hesitation in recommending this team !!!

It’s very rare that I write a review for a Company, its product or its services. It means that Solar Severn must be exceptionally good or pretty rubbish. You decide… We purchased a new property two years ago that had included some solar, we increased it to 2.7kW of solar a 3.6kW inverter and a 10 kW of BESS. The twist…it operated with an Off Grid facility – if the Grid goes down, we can still operate our essential services. We wanted to increase our resilience and so sought out a Contactor to carry out the work. We had a very favourable recommendation from a near neighbour who kindly showed us around their upgraded installation and thoroughly recommended Solar Severn. This is what happened… • We made an appointment, and they turned up on time and listened carefully to our requirements and gave some positive options. • The quote arrived as scheduled with the required options. • We agreed the options and a final price was settled. • They gave us a start date, and arrived on the schedule date and time with all the gear. • They worked hard for full days and did not “disappear” onto other jobs. • The project was completed on schedule to give us an extra 3.9kW of PV another 3.6 kW inverter and a further 10kW of BESS. • The one thing we had insisted on was the use of the same Manufacture for the principal kit, the Inverters and BESS so that we would not have any software/firmware incompatibility. – Guess what…? • There were major software/firmware issues, the items were not fully compatible – even the Main Agents and some of the Manufactures personnel were not aware of this. • Thanks to the tenacity of Owen and Joe and an awful lot of phone calls, firmware and software upgrades along with the replacement of key components the system became fully operational. • Our final invoice arrived after a few days of full operational performance – its value – as the Quote. What about the estimated 15 to 20 hours of abortive time? No charge to us. Needless to say, they were paid in full by return. Have you decided…let me help? Solar Severn were exceptional good in all aspects of their work. We thoroughly recommend them.

Joe and Owen recently rewired my house and their work was second to none. Their professionalism, attention to detail, quality of workmanship were exceptional from start to finish. They were incredibly helpful when it came to planning and advising, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. They also left my house in immaculate condition once the job was complete. I would highly recommend Solar Severn Electrical.

Thoroughly recommend Solar Severn, just had an installation, brilliant job. They arrive on time, superbly organised, do everything to the highest standard, system is working just as it should, cant fault them. Please don't look elsewhere if you want the best.

Would highly recommend this local company. They did an great job fitting an EV charging point at our home. Their communication and timekeeping was excellent and the site was left clean and tidy.

Joe came on the time specified and installed my replacement inverter. He was cheerful, polite and explained what he was doing. He was efficient and completed the work quickly without any fuss. Would recommend him .

Absolutely awesome install from Joe and Owen at Solar Severn who installed an additional 12 solar panels (5.4kW) with Tigo optimisers and a Myenergi Libbi 10.2kW home battery with 5kW inverter. We already had a 2kW solar system, and a Zappi EV car charger so when they recommended the Libbi battery, it just made sense to stick with the same eco system we already had and had grown used to. Despite the rain and cloudy weather we’ve been having recently, we’ve not imported a single kilowatt of high priced energy from the grid since the install! And we are LOVING IT!! We import and top up the Libbi over night at a rate of 7p and then when the sun comes out we top up the battery again and power the house all through the evening on free sunshine. What could be better?! Both Joe and Owen worked really hard, doing everything from application to the DNO to commissioning and explaining how to use the system. They’re extremely tidy workers and considerate of our own and our neighbours gardens. They even found a few broken roof tiles and managed to find a perfect match and replaced and repaired as they went. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with on this project. We’d highly recommend Solar Severn to anyone thinking of getting or adding to an existing eco set up. We’d give 10 stars if we could. Thanks both for your hard work. Really appreciate it. We’ll reach out to you again for the Eddi and some other electrical work soon enough.

Excellent ,on time ,very neat and tidy Joe fitted my car charger ,his attention to detail was excellent, nothing was to much trouble, sorted out the app and registered it for me ,well done joe your a Credit to your trade Many thanks Terry

Brilliant efficient and tidy service for installing our solar panels and battery. No hassles and available after installation for any query calls. Explanation of the app and how it all works was v clear. We have previously used Solar Severn to install our Electric Vehicle Charging Unit which was done with equal efficiency. First rate and would highly recommend.

We have just had solar panels fitted. Joe and Owen are very professional and offered us a personalised service to provide a system to fit our house. What was important to us was that they are a local company and not a national one. All the work was done timely and tidily. We are very pleased and have no hesitation to recommend their company.

Solar Severn were absolutely fantastic in dealing with my warranty claim for a failed Solar Edge inverter and installing and commissioning the replacement inverter.

I highly recommend Solar Severn for installing renewable home battery storage. Every part of the process from quote to commissioning went very well. Workmanship as it should be. Thank you very much.

Just added another battery for additional storage to the solar system that Solar Severn installed for us earlier this year. Took less than an hour!! These guys are superb, cannot praise them enough. Great service, honest advice and nothjng too much trouble.

Got in touch with Joe about having an EV charger installed. He replied within minutes and offered to pop around to discuss the options, which he did. I have a bit of OCD and didn’t want a visible cable running from the meter box with a bulky junction box on the wall. Joe suggested taking the feed from the consumer unit if there was space for a breaker. He explained that there would still be a short visible cable run, but much neater. When I asked about completely hiding the cable, he mentioned they could chase the wall and feed it behind the stud wall — which sounded perfect to me. We organised a fitting date and Joe arrived on time with his colleague. They carried out the job to a very high standard. Super tidy, cleaned everything up afterwards, and the end result looks very smart and works like a dream. Would have no hesitation recommending these guys for an EV charger installation. Thanks again! 👍🏻

From our first meeting Joe and Owen couldnt have been more professional and friendly. They explained everything simply and not with too much jargon. The work was carried out efficiently, with very little disruption, would highly recommend them, lovely lads.Really pleased with the end result.
