James and the B&R team provided a superb service for the installation of Tesla Battery and Solar panels - working around our requirements for location of the equipment and cable routing. What is never obvious is that Octopus will only offer a standard non tailored solution - whereas James came out - reviewed our requirements, assisted with the scaffolding implementation, included the all important anti bird protection, provided guidance on the panels allowing us to increase the count whilst on site and also add the Tesla Expansion pack. This was all completed in 5 days from start to finish - including returning the site back to normal and scaffolding removed. I couldn't ask for more.

B&R Solar Services were punctual and polite. They did an excellent job of installing a consumer unit, and they checked all electrical systems throughout the house. I would highly recommend this company.

After having shopped around and had various advise and different quotes, I found James' honesty and integrity to be paramount in my making a decision to go with B&R. James is an expert in his field and gives guidance which clearly is the best thing for his customer. B&R initially installed an EV charger. The installers were respectful and tidy and very efficient. They spent time carefully considering the cleanest cable runs meaning they were not visible through the house. Disruption and post install patching was left to a minimum. The EV charger was configured and works well. I also had B&R come back to fit solar panels. Since this day we have had no need to draw electricity from the grid. James advice and knowledge is clearly demonstrated by this. Again, the install was relatively disruption free, and the cable runs were well thought out so as to be as tidy as possible. Other than a few boxes, which I'd expect, there was no mess The hardware is great and works exactly how i would expect, with simple monitoring via mobile apps. James installed a LAN patch panel in my wall to link the invertor to my internet. Again a clean finish, and a reduction of potential issues caused by transmitting data over a wi-fi network. James came back and fully integrated by EV charger to the panels, which works flawlessly. It was a brand new model EV charger but James was super efficient getting all working despite having never configured one before. Really happy with the service overall, and would recommend to friends/family in the future

I contact James at B&R solar services as we had solar fitted 10 years ago and didn't realise how it worked in respect to receiving payments from the National grid. James was amazing and could not help enough. He serviced the system and contacted the national grid as it was not connected. All i can say is "wow". He went above and beyond and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company. Faultless throughout the whole process.

Very good experience the job was quite fluid from my perspective, as I was not exactly sure what was possible and what equipment was needed. The guys who did the job could not have been more helpful with both advice and options. The job exceeded my expectations!

James was very comprehensive when exploring the equipment options before the works. We shopped around and found that the kit and installation price quoted by BR Solar was very reasonable for the kit we selected. During the installation they were very professional and thorough, even going out of their way of replacing any broken tiles on our roof before installing the panels on top of it. After moving into an 80yo bungalow we found our electrics needed some serious attention. The lads at B&R Solar sorted us out in no time. Upgrading the consumer unit, adding in extra sockets, running power for an electric shower, upgraded lighting circuits and certification on everything we're now on the right track to get everything updated. Very reasonably priced and hard workers. It's a great team and I'll use them again and again.

My mum recently had a flood and electrical work was required for her to be able to return home, I contacted James and he responded very quickly and arranged for someone to go out to carry out a full inspection of her house, he sent me a quote of the work required and a date to carry out this work was booked, on the day the work was completed without any problems. We used B&R for various electrical works around our property, including kitchen rewire. I would highly recommend the team at B&R, they were timely and professional with the work completed.

Impromptu purchase of EV, never thought about charger requirement at home, never thought we would have an EV, got more and more confused by the charger options available. Messaged James who we have used before, came back with a solution pretty quickly, a few days later the new Zappi was fitted. Brilliant advice and service from James and the guys at B&R whom have been first class, for personal and our business requirements.

These guys did a great job installing solar panels on my slate roof. The price was very reasonable as others were not able to fit them to slate without extra costs. We also had two batteries neatly installed Pleasure to have them in my home.

Communication before and during the appointment was helpful and professional. The electricians arrived exactly at the time they said they would and were very considerate about alerting us when the power would be off and making sure they had it turned back on when they went to lunch to have the least impact on us working from home. Following a battery failure on my solar system I discovered that the company who installed it had disappeared. I contacted the equipment manufacturer (SolaX) who agreed to send a replacement unit and advised of some local SolaX system installers. I contacted B&R Solar Services who were really helpful and reassuring. They came to install the replacement battery once it had arrived and had our system back up and running very promptly. I can thoroughly recommend James and his team - they all did a great job.

I had a solar PV and battery system fitted 4 years ago by a national company. One of the batteries had developed a fault and the manufactur supplied a replacement one but left it to me to have it fitted. I found B&R Solar as a local company and I'm really pleased I did. James came to my property just two days after my initial contact. He arrived on time and carried out the swapping of the batteries and recomissioning of the system very efficiently and explained to me what he was doing. James and the team at B&R Solar supplied and fitted a Giv Energy PV system with 14 solar panels at my property. From quote to fit they did a great job and were reasonably priced. James coordinated all the work and commissioned the system as well as relocating and supplying a new consumer unit and fitting boards lighting and smoke alarms in the loft where the solar unit was fitted. There was a minor issue with the Solar system's 'App' and also a problem with my EV charger after the system's install, but these were resolved quickly. James and Scott turned up expecting a fairly simple new boiler wiring setup, unfortunately as it turned out they had to run new wiring across as well as fitting a new wiring centre. Despite these hurdles, they still stayed very professional, and got the job done, tidied up after themselves. Would definitely recommend and thinking of using them for some future works I've been advised needs doing.

Had these guys out to do a full inspection and test. They text me with a time,turned up when they said they would. Did what they had to do and after finding a few faults gave me a quote to remedy the situation. After agreeing on a price the turned up again when they said they would did the job for the agreed price and cleaned up and left the house in a good clean condition as if they had never been. Excellent experience would recommend them to everybody 👍

I've had work done on two seperate occasions now and finding it to be good quality, done quickly without fuss and reasonably priced, I would definitely go back to them for future work. They work with you to get exactly what you want. If it turns out to be different from the original quote, the price is adjusted accordingly, no messing. And no extra costs you don't feel you should be paying. On one of the occasions James had to come back out to sort one small thing on work he'd already done which I thought was handled extremely well. Very satisfied with B&R Electrics!
