Premlex Electrical

We have been using Premlex to carry out EICRs on our properties. The service is fantastic, they are always speedy with their responses and always do their best for us. Thanks Trebor and team!

Premlex have replaced my bathroom light. The work was done efficiently and the electrician very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use Premlex again.

Excellent job by Josh, really neat and tidy and arrived on time. Thoroughly recommend for any electrical work.

We have used Premlex twice now to install light fittings including a large chandelier above a stairwell which required internal scaffolding. We have had a great experience both times. The electricians arrived promptly, were polite, and focused, and got the job done as expected - checking in with us as they went about placements and details. They worked hard and tidied up after themselves before leaving. We will definitely use again in future. Thank you very much.

What an excellent firm! Third time they've done work for me and always 100% reliable. Guy today turned up ahead of schedule, worked at pace and efficiently explaining elements of the job, and tidied up after himself Oh for more businesses with this level of reliability/professionalism.

We required an EV charger install. Premlex surveyed and quoted the price which was extremely competitive. We accepted and the install was flawless. Their engineers work was clean and tidy and flawless. Would recommend Premlex to anyone requiring electrical work. Definitely using them to quote and install solars later in the year.

Trevor and the team did an excellent job. Highly recommend.

I was very happy with the work done. Score is 5 stars 🤩 Phil was friendly and punctual. He gave good advice and all problems on the list were identified and rectified. Efficient and left the house clean & tidy. Would be happy to use your company again and will recommend to others.

Called Premlex as I had a faulty light circuit. A prompt reply on the phone and an appointment was booked. A detailed email was sent prior to appointment and named the electrician who would come. Josh arrived on time. He was professional and polite. He kept us informed throughout the appointment as to the issues that were causing the problem. I would highly recommend Premlex as an efficient company.

The booking process was excellent and the lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. An electrician was available and able to come out within a day or two. The electrician was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the service. He did a thorough test and even a video of the issue with the oven which was established was not an electrical problem anyway. I will definitely be using their services again and would be happy to recommend them.

I received outstanding service from Premlex Electrical. I had been informed by a Hotpoint Engineer that I needed RCD fused spurs on my hardwired washing machine before he would look at it. I contacted Premlex and Liam came with these but he told me they were unnecessary since my fuse box was RCD protected already. He tested the sockets to make sure the RCD protection was working. Liam then went the extra mile by helping move the washing machine into the garage since the Hotpoint Engineer had also told me the machine would have to be moved since there was not enough space to work on it. Communication with Premlex was excellent and they only charged me for labour and they also issued me with a certificate to show the engineer that all was safe. I can't fault their service and would recommend them without hesitation.

I was completely satisfied with the work carried out by Phil. The fitting of an extra double wall socket was carried out professionally, cleanly and exactly to the standard I required. Excellent job. Thank you.

Can not speak highly enough of Premlex, super professional and friendly, the whole team where exceptional, will be using Premlex with all our new premises moving forward AAA

Premlex changed circuit breaker for us in March 2025 The service we received was excellent. The electrician was extremely polite and completely the work really fast. I would rate their service 5 stars and would definitely recommend this company!

DEFINITELY deserving of a 5 star review. I was recommended this company by a heating engineer I trust and will definitely use them for all my electrical needs. James was on time, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I ring the office I speak to friendly helpful staff. So rare these days!

Really helpful company. Sam was a star - thank you for your help.

My garden appliances tripped but the fault was not obvious & required a lot of detective work to establish! Premles, thankyou for yet another fast, polite, patient & professional service.

Highly recommended. James that came out…and he was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, tidy…what more could we ask? Please pass on our thanks.

Great service. Timely and efficient.

Excellent and prompt service without costing an arm and a leg!

Excellent quality of work, they turn up when they say they're going to turn up and I feel very confident using them for my last two homes.

Very satisfied with service

Premlex came to our office yesterday to replace old strip light fittings with new LED panels, there has been a vast improvement on the lighting within our office. When coming to quote for the job, Trebor was knowledgeable about the regulations regarding lighting within our office. When the electrician was on site carrying out the work he did so with no fuss and very little interruption to our work. When he was finished he left everything clean and tidy. We have used Premlex several times now and would highly recommend them.

Very happy with the exterior lighting installed by Premlex. I was most impressed with Trebor dictating patiently all my requirements into his phone and Liam fulfilling those requirements to the letter. I’ll certainly be coming back to you for any future electrical work.5/5

Liam arrived on time and was very courteous. Fitted a damaged outside security light. Seems to be fine now. We have used this company before and would do so again.

I would like to say that your electrician was extremely courteous and very professional. The installation was excellent and he kept me well informed at all times during the installation. From the initial visit and communications with yourself and your office I would have no hesitation in recommending your company

Arrived on time, listened to our exacting requests and fulfilled them perfectly. Very professional service and we will be using Premlex for any electrical work needed again.

Upgrade of fuse board and bathroom light, arrived on time and completed work to good standard

An exceptional service. Very professional. Arrived on time and very courteous. We would recommend them.

Premlex installed a EV charger for me. They did a superb job from estimate through to completion. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to other people

The engineer was excellent in that they explained the problem and the options available. Having made a decision they immediately instigated the repair with success.

They were very quick to do my survey and very helpful and responsive to any queries I had once it came back :)

Quick courteous service. Could not ask for more.

Excellent service on a variety of electrical jobs around the house. Very knowledgeable and professional, and also reasonably priced.

Happily used Premlex to move our electricity meter box (no small job!) which involved several different contractors and several days' work. Trebor and his team are friendly, efficient and responsive and I would use them time and time again. We received 3 quotes for the work to be completed and Premlex was competitive; but the main reason we chose them was that they seemed confident and competent where others gave the impression that the work was too hard for their time or they just couldn't be bothered. Thanks again.

Used them for several jobs. Good and reliable.

The fuse box consumer unit kept switching power off. The premlex service was prompt, friendly and professional in every way

Premlex installed 7 interior ceiling light fittings and 2 outdoor fittings. Communication was good throughout the process and the quote of £30+ vat per fitting and an estimated time frame of 4.5 hours seemed reasonable at around £60 per hour. I dd supply information on the exact lights and fittings supplied and images of the current fittings to be replaced, our home is a new build so all electrics meet current standards. The electrician who fitted our lights was very professional and respectful of our home and took the time to make sure the fittings were are the correct height. He managed to fit all the lights in just under 3 hours. When we received our invoice I was slightly surprised that we had been billed for the 4,5 hours quoted and not the actual time taken to do the job. The response was that sometimes jobs take longer than quoted and sometimes quicker, so it's fair to all customers, which I felt was an odd response as I seemed to have subsidised jobs that are underestimated. I did pay the full amount as per the original quote but agreed to disagree with pricing structure operated by this company, as i felt that the £90 + vat per hour that the job ended up costing was excessive, even by todays standards.

PREMLEX carried out, at short notice, a domestic electrical inspection prior to us selling our house; they quickly identified what had to be done and what should be done and kept us informed throughout the process. A value for money quote for the required work was promptly supplied and the work was carried out very professionally, efficiently, courteously, within the time given and at the cost quoted. The team were always on time and treated our home with respect. The certificate needed to support our sale was quickly produced and we unreservedly recommend PREMLEX should you need their services. A great firm employing really sound professionals.

First class response and service very prompt

I would highly recommend Premlex. We've used them twice now and have been really impressed with the service. They are quick to respond, friendly and professional.

Excellent service professionally delivered

Very professional manner with a good knowledge of the work needed to be carried out

Pethatic, never use these guys.

The engineer did a great job, and was very efficient and a pleasure to have working here.

I've had a range of work done both personally on and as subcontract work for my business through Premlex. Always fair and does things properly.

Great service and excellent results as always! The team were flexible with our time lines and nothing was too much trouble, especially with placement of kit and our requested finished appearance. Job involved heated mirror, sockets, lighting and underfloor heating install. Have used Premlex for years and would highly recommend to others.

I use Premlex for all my home and business electrics they are so professional always on time and do a top job, I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Treb has recently carried out some electrical work for me and I can highly recommend his professionalism, workmanship and efficiency. I would not instruct anyone else for any electrical work and will continue to use and recommend

Trebor recently came round to my property for some essential work to be done and was completed in no time at all. I would highly recommend.

Excellent - quick response and great job!!

I used Trebor for a number of different jobs around the house including under counter lighting in the kitchen and two outside lights. His guys did an exemplary job and cleared up so well that you would never have known they had been there. I would have no hesitation in recommending Premlex services to anybody in the future.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Trebor visited us and listened to the work we wanted to get done (changing over 15 light fittings) was very helpful in suggesting the sort of fittings and bulbs we should have to achieve what we wanted and to make sure they reached British and EU safety standards. We received the quote in a timely fashion and a date for the work was booked in. The lads arrived on time and throughout the day worked in a tidy manner, and the outcome is fantastic. I'm so impressed with the service and work carried out that I'm going to book them for more work.

Trebor didn’t know me but he fitted me in very quickly. He was even able to turn up earlier than arranged (he phoned to check this was OK). He was thorough, polite and help and explained everything to me. He charged a fair price for the work carried out.

Dear Trebor of Premlex Electrical. I wanted to take this time to thank you for all the recent work you did for my family home. Your services deliver excellent results, much to our satisfaction. Recently we needed some extra security to our property - I knew you would be able to help - you jumped in and fitted a bright LED security light to our back garden. After hearing that some unwanted criminals were in the area, we needed that extra piece of mind that you delivered. Excellent Job! Well done Trebor! your skills and experience came in perfectly for the job to run smoothly. I will certainly continue recommending your services to others (I know many other professionals who already do this). I am confident that you can help others who need that extra piece of mind - protecting them from heartless criminals. If anyone needs a great Electrician - Trebor is much more than that! Well done! - Best wishes, The (Nigel) Williams household

First Class Professional friendly service. Electricians that work with honesty, integrity and pride. Highly Recommended.
