Ross Robertson visited today to fix my kitchen sink, great guy, very friendly, even cleaned up after himself. Did a great job, showed me everything that he did and explained everything thoroughly. Would recommend.

Absolutely shocking. They finally showed up late on Thursday ,even though the issue was reported to my insurance on Tuesday. Only to tell me the boiler needed a part. I asked them to at least check if the had it in stock, since I’d already been four days without heating or hot water, and got nothing but a vague “we’ll be in touch.” No timescale, no urgency, nothing. Then I was told they don’t fit parts at weekends, meaning I’d be left a full week without heating or hot water. The engineer was flippant, dismissive, and clearly couldn’t care less about the situation. Customer care was just as useless, no answers, no help, just the same empty line: “we’ll be in touch.” The communication is awful, the staff are unhelpful, and the attitude is disgraceful. In the end I told them to RAM it cancelled my insurance and paid £300 for a local engineer who fixed it within 24 hours. Do NOT use these people. They don’t care, they don’t communicate, and they are painfully slow to respond.

Woke up to my toilet leaking through my ceiling. They got in touch with me through my insurance within an hour of raising the issue. Booked a time for a plumber to come round and kept me up to date with any changes. Ross was a great help in fixing the problem, explained everything he was doing and the reason why. He even cleaned the area he work in before he left. Great service, would use again.

I’ve been having issues with OVO sending out engineers (for other companies) who didn’t want to fix my boiler fault and simply didn’t car for over 6 months. After the 5th call out I got an engineer for William & Donnelly came out and fixed it straight away. There customer service is thousand times better than OVO/corgis, they are the only company I want to deal with in the future and will be requesting them everytime. Edit I just discovered on their website that they do their own boiler service package which is great news so my OVO/corgi deal expires next month and I can switch to William & Donnelly

He quickly identified the issue, completed a temporary repair and organised for new parts to be ordered. Terrible experience. They provided a report to my insurance stating my boiler was dirty and not serviced ( having serviced it themselves for the previous 2 years and verbally stated my boiler was old but clean). Do not trust this company.

Absolutely brilliant service from Ross and Lewis! We had an emergency with our toilet and, unfortunately, even after two different plumbers from different companies had been out, we were still having problems with it leaking. Ross and Lewis came out this morning and were fantastic. They called ahead to let us know they’d be around 20 minutes, arrived exactly on time, had a look at the problem and got to sorting it straight away. Both the guys were super friendly, polite and professional. They explained exactly what they had done, made sure everything was working properly and even cleaned up after themselves — especially appreciated after the mess the previous plumbers had left behind! I wish I could give them zero stars but there wasn't that option. These are the worst people, got the worst service. Instead of servicing the boiler they came and broke the boiler instead. And they wouldn't refund the money back as well as costing us a lot of money for doing absolutely nothing.

I got a brand new boiler in sept 2023 worst decision i ever made using this company I had Gas Safe out a At one point in my journey my boilers warranty was taken off me due to the boiler issues [it was Worcester who took the warranty from me ] I stand by my 1 star rating As the week before the year was up i was told do not contact this company again I have a 7 year warranty I had taken out finance which is up on beg September 2026 I had to go through the fiance company to try and get some issues dealt with 2 years i had major issues and its all documented with emails and photos The pressure dropped every month until January 2026 i got a new radiator in from another heating engineer and my pressure has not dropped since ??? Please be aware as not everyone has a 5 star service For the record everything this company said is untrue I had 2 roofers out no issue with my roof Worcester advised me to contact Gas Safe,they dont do that for no reason The admin told me not to contact yous again Thats why i called worcester also then Worcester was shocked as Initially my boiler was measured it was 7ft in a cupboard and im disabled with physical ailments this was absolutley a disgrace from Day 1 Ive emails ect to confirm everything and 2 genuine roofers info

Outstanding service from Kane today, not many well mannered genuine knowledgeable plumber, he not only fixed my problem but actually detected a gas leak on route on outside of my house which has board had to come out for but this gentleman just went above and beyond for me today have been days without gas, works highly recommend, thanks again wish more people were as genuinely nice and respectful as this guy.

If I could give them a zero I would . Waited in for days for emergency engineer. No heating hot water. Turn up tell me they need to order the part . Get the part on a Friday , but too late to fit it at noon. So freeze over the weekend. They get in touch on Monday to say they have ordered the wrong part and, need to reorder . 3 weeks of no heating and hot water for emergency insurance engineer to come out from Donnellys . Never again avoid like the plague

Graham and colleage visited today, amazing guys, our gas supply had been switched off by smart meter engeneer as leak detected, we had leak at boiler, very dangerous! These guys saved the day .

Ross Robertson fitted my bathtub' tap where I found his service was super fast and very efficient. Super happy with the job.

Would not recommend this company !! I got a new combi boiler fitted and before fitting I asked on telephone if I could get the boiler moved up 5cm. Even sent videos of previous boiler in kitchen explaining all of this and where I wanted new boiler to get fitted . The reason for wanting it moved up was for benefits of getting new kitchen fitted and making it fit in around my designs. They said on phone that this should not be a problem. The job was sub contracted out and the 2 fitters who were nice guys who did good overall job turned up .Then a further 2 guys turned up which were 2 apprentices so 4 guys in total. However they did the job they were contracted to do and they said to me it was not possible to be moved up 5 cm due to eve of the house outside and regulations . After boiler was installed I called manager to come and check as it is very very low on worktop and kitchen fitters who were coming out to quote for a new kitchen could not believe how low it was!! Manager came out and intially he thought too it was very low and said could move up a tiny bit but would make no difference if honest. I asked if I could not get it moved up with flu going out roof as all neighbours have this , however was told need roofer and it would be alot more expensive as much bigger job according to him. Having just paid £3400 for the completed job the fact of putting flu through roof being alot more expensive put me off . However still getting quotes for kitchen at present time and each and everyone of the kitchen installers have said it would not have been that big an additional job to put flu out roof and at very most £200, this would have made it easier for kitchen fitters and made my new kitchen alot nicer .So the job of installing new boiler was basically to make their job easier. So im totally gutted at this !!! I could pay the £200 or even less to get fixed properly by another engineer but just having this fitted in January at £3400 , I do not want to break any guarantees and therefore I'm now going to have to get kitchen installed round about this eyesore of low boiler. Honestly I'm gutted. So I would not recommend this company at all . The fact manager said it was much bigger job to put flu through roof and alot more expensive put me off. Only now to get told by other qualified trades that it would be around £200 or less is so disappointing. I would not class this as alot !! more expensive to get job done more professionally if I had been told exactly price and options. Sadly I wasn't!!

Great service from Ross. Encountered the problem quickly and rectified immediately. Professional and polite.

Had a burst pipe so emergency home Insurer's passed us to this company. Was told there was a plumber available but as he lived 1hr drive away he wouldn't be willing to attend! Their advice was to find someone to turn the mains off or use towels to mop up the water! Disgraceful service. Turned up at lunchtime the following day, happy to leave a vulnerable pensioner with a burst pipe because they were too lazy to do their job.

The overall service provided by Donnellys plumbing from East Kilbride has been horrendous and really poor. When I phoned my insurance company reporting an ongoing problem (emergency leak)I was told a plumber would come out as a matter of urgency. Which at first sounded good and promising, I was phone by a plumber at 11am advising he would be coming from dollar but would be arriving around 1230pm. At around 2pm I still hadn’t heard anything or met the plumber as a result I phoned Donnellys back and emailed them and was advised the original plumber had been cancelled due to someone else being closer but they wouldn’t be available until after 5. At around 6.30pm a gas engineer arrived and to his Credit he was amazing (literally the only positive from the whole experience) however he was a gas engineer and admitted from the start he has limited plumbing knowledge and as such can’t fix the issue and had to request a plumber to be sent the next morning. He also couldn’t understand why the original plumber was cancelled as he would have been the expert in this issue and could have had it fixed hours earlier. The next morning I phone Donnellys back and can’t get through have to communicate via email. I am the advised via email that Donnellys can’t help any more and won’t be sending a plumber out due to walls needing to be knocked through and trace and access made which made no sense since the pipes are not closed or hidden. Why a plumber couldn’t attend initially and check the shower and remove this from the wall first before deciding that a gas engineer who has no or limited plumbing knowledge knows what the problem is. It wouldn’t have done any damage to have an expert remove the shower and check fittings and pipes first and they would have been able to provide a more reliable and expert knowledge as to whether walls needing knocked out or cut through. I try and phone back and get through and ask to speak to the relevant person and as I am transferred to a female I start explaining my issues and the woman replies sorry why are you speaking to me I am not a plumber. I then ask if she works for Donnellys and she say no and hangs up. I try again and answer machine only so I leave another email. Thankfully and by pure coincidence I pump into an old friend who is training to be a plumber and he attends and within 10 minutes fixes the issue. All that was needed was the shower mixing valve removed and the pipes that connect into them reconnected and tightened. Something that Donnellys should surely have be able to fix. Avoid at all cost the experience received was poor and disappointing I do not understand why a plumber was cancelled from a plumbing job and a gas engineer sent in the first place!

This company has gone from 'Hero' to 'Zero'. Phoned and booked appt to have boiler serviced. Was given day for this and advised engineer would call approx 30 mins before arriving etc. Paid money whilst on call. Waited in whole day but nobody arrived. Tried calling them on the day but, as was after 5pm, were closed. Called next day to find out what was going on. They were not interested and girl advised would pass to accounts to get refund processed. No explanation, no apology, nothing...Defo won't use again and don't recommend. Is such shame as their engineers last time were great. Must have just been 'lucky' last time.

Ross Robertson visited my house to do an emergency repair after my pipe burst and flooded the kitchen. Ross attended early in the day as we requested when we arranged the visit the evening before, he was very approachable, well mannered and polite, introduced himself and talked me through the process so I could understand the fault and how it went wrong. As far as a flooded kitchen goes, Ross made the experience as calming and reassuring as he could. I’m very pleased with the service and would recommend Ross to family and friends 👍🏻

We used this company for an emergency repair through a home emergency policy. Stephen was sent out to replace a part urgently required and, although later than expected (not due to any fault of his), he kept us fully informed via the insurer and himself at all times. I normally don't have much faith in repairs, especially if I don't understand them but he explained what and why he was doing it and what to expect going forward. It s now been us waiting for 3 days to get someone to come and still doesn’t show and offer a following date again to come after complaining about there service they even hang up the phone on us what kind of company is that Leaving families in a 12 degrees house after phoning many times saying someone will be with us so much for 24h service Got a call saying I m tired I can’t come today but someone will be with you the next morning and then nothing again What a shame A company to avoid

Excellent service - professional and friendly highly recommend!

The sheer level of incompetence and complete lack of follow-through from this company is quite shocking. An engineer came out for a home emergency cover claim and confirmed that my partner’s 20-year-old boiler wasn’t worth repairing, so we opted to replace it. WM Donnelly assured us that someone would be in touch with a quote for a new installation. That was the last we ever heard from them. Despite multiple attempts to chase them, their communication is absolutely non-existent. It’s astonishing that a company can be this careless and unresponsive, especially when dealing with something as essential as heating. Don’t waste your time expecting them to do what they say they will (because they won’t). We gave up and went with 123 Gas Edinburgh instead, and Jakub was fantastic. Save yourself the frustration and go with a company that actually shows up and does the job.

Needed a new boiler fitted at short notice due to breakdown of old boiler. Turnaround from speaking to WM Donnelly to boiler being fitted was extremely quick and efficient, everyone in the office was very professional and helpful and our boiler was fitted quickly with zero mess left behind. The engineer also helpfully talked me through the settings for the new thermostat. First class service, highly recommend !

Horrendous!!! Suffered a power cut in our house on Sunday afternoon. This company were contacted through an emergency call out by our insurance company...No-one available on the Sunday.....confirmed they were attending on Monday between 9 and 5.....I took day off at late notice....wait in all day with no socket power or tv/Internet for 24 hrs now...receptionist phones me around 3pm to say they couldn't come out as they were too busy!!!! As they had been appointed i was told by the receptionist deginetly be out next day being Tuesday.....my wife then has to take a late notice day off.....AT 4.55PM receptionist phones to say they cant come out AGAIN due to a vehicle breakdown with zero alternative....48hrs now without socket power or tv Internet! A total appalling joke of a service from this company. If you are having an emergency, dont phone them you are wasting your time. Totally disgusted!

Kane came to our flat multiple times within a week or so span to ensure our boiler was fixed. He was thorough and explained each aspect of the process to us. Really pleased and impressed. Was quite a big job (35 year old boiler and oldest water tank they'd ever seen being replaced/removed, underfloor pipes, new radiator, flushed system). Came as planned, as priced, got it all done with no hassle, took everything away and - most importantly - the guys doing the work (thanks again Ian, Colin, Greg) were brilliant, so impressed.

Rude and unhelpful customer service staff. They only give you all day appointments and not even a vague indication of whether the appointment is morning or afternoon. Not impressed. In response to the post from the owner of WM Donnelly, things got from bad to worse today. Engineer spent 3 x hrs at the property. Wrong part ordered so we are now with NO hot water or NO heating. Another engineer will come round tomorrow hopefully with the right part. Again not impressed!

He fixed the issue quickly and explained clearly what had caused the problem. He was energetic, polite, and friendly throughout.

Slower than a week in the jail and not in any rush to get back out and repair it, so left sitting in limbo. Don't expect to recieve any empathy either, your simply another cog in their big corporate wheel.. In future I will get the insurance to pay me to get my own plumber locally instead of just bein another unnapriciated number and having to wait endlessly with false promises... Not to mention their report to the insurance claimed they secured the ceiling when in reality they were in and out in 40 seconds... And the repair is a standard simple repair... Clearly they just want to extract the maximum benifit from the insurance at the cost of my time and patience

Terrible service, they came out initially through my insurance couldn't fix the initial problem but were quite happy to give the insurance a quote for the work that needed to be carried out to fix the problem., when they found out the insurance were not going to pay they then told me I couldn't have a private quote and said they can't do the work, well obviously they could through an inflated quote cause it's an insurance company, anyway had the work carried out by a lovely local company so thanks for nothing and I hope noone gets service from you cause you are an absolute liberty. Shocking way to run a business. Zero stars

We recently had to use the services of WM Donnelly for a new water tank following a leak. Alan came out to attend our emergency and subsequently did all the work replacing the water tank.. I can highly recommend him and the company. Alan was very knowledgeable, professional and capable. He did an excellent job for us. All dealings with the company were friendly and helpful. Thank you

While washing the dishes, the hot water of my kitchen tap spluttered and then continued to pour water despite the tap being turned off. The water only stopped running when the main valve was turned off (leaving no water to the house). This happened at 9 pm at night. In the morning, I phoned around a few places and decided to go with WM. Donnelly. I was told there was a £102 call out charge which I was happy to pay at the time on the assumption my tap would be fixed! An employee (not sure of the name) arrived about 3hrs after I called, was there for less than 5mins, isolated my hot water and left telling me I needed a new tap and he would get back to the office who would sned me a quote for the work. I phoned to query the £102 call out charge for a less than 5min visit with still no working tap. To me, it's like a painter charging to come out to see a job and then saying 'I'll get back to you with a quote'. Anyway, I'm down £102 and still no working tap. One week later I still haven't had that quote for the work to be done! No email or phone call! I would avoid this company at all costs! The work was completed by a local EK company who supplied and fitted for less than the than call out charge!

After my boiler breaking down on Saturday and contacting my home insurance I cannot stress how impressed I was with the speed and 1st class service received. John was out the next day, diagnosed the problem straight away, reported back to his parts dept to order a new pump.. I received a call the day after to let me know an engineer would be out to fit the part on the Tues. So in total it took only 2 and a half days. Excellent service from both John and Kane who fitted the pump. 10 out of 10. Would recommend them.

It's a shame how one year on customer service has dropped significantly and when you call to discuss to be told we are an emergency call out service. Scheduled boiler service booked 1mth in advance for my mother (83 yrs old) .WM Donnelly called day before to cancel due to sickness , rescheduled for following week again between 9-5pm . Advised to "call on the day" for arrival update told they will call 30mins before arrival. Fast forward 4:45pm still no engineer , called office again told we are an emergency call out service so they will be there when possible. No concern given regarding inconvenience caused ,my loss of days leave for original cancellation or turning up to pensioner house at 6pm out with 9-5 working day for a scheduled service . Very disappointed especially after outstanding service I had received last year from exact same company. Would love to discuss with anyone from customer service .

John was brilliant! Boiler broke down on Saturday morning and he came out Sunday. Advised it could be 3 days minimum to get the part required but managed to come back on Tuesday and get everything sorted. The trainee was nice as well. Top bloke, top job, cheers!

Ken, did a great job repairing our boiler after 2 other engineers failed to diagnose the problem. He arrived on time and was very professional in his attitude and work.

We lost heating and hot water yesterday due to a boiler breakdown. We contacted our insurers who arranged for a visit today. Due to the red weather warning we thought it unlikely that the engineer would make it, but Mario arrived around 5pm and repaired the boiler. He had to take diversions to get to us due to fallen trees and road closures. All credit to him for getting to us in the awful weather and for leaving us with a warm and toasty house after nearly 36 hours without heating and hot water.

unprofessional and highly incompetent. I had one guy come out to asses the fitting of a radiator which seemed straightforward. Then 2nd guy came out to fit radiator who was sposed to come out between 9 and 3pm. when I contacted the office on 3 occasions was told 3 different things one being it could be anytime between 9 and 10pm the woman was just rude and unprofessional on the phone asking me what I wanted help with (rudely putting me on mute )and returning speaking over me. when through engineer arrived he said they had sent the wrong guy he couldn't fit new radiators. When I asked to make a complaint was told I would get a call back ,it never happened. From my experience they give local traders a bad name and unfortunately would not trust these people carrying out a job smoothly.

Engineer arrived advised that I would need to call the office for a quote I have called 4 times no quote or response contacted twice via website and no response. I am sitting 7 days on no response or any hot water. This company charge a call out charge but do not do any work or follow up. I would not recommend this company

Absolute waste of time. Avoid them! Communication between their own people terrible and communication with the customer even worse. A simple fix to a radiator took 4 calls outs, confusion between plumbers and heating engineers, and eventually they told me that what they had said would do could longer be completed. They just gave up. The obnoxious service guy did not help either.

I live in Galashiels. I did not realise that this company was based in Glasgow. I booked a service and I was passed immediately onto the finance team and they took my money upfront. Nobody arrived on the Friday and at 4pm I phoned. They said they would be there in one and half hours. It was a long weekend so I told them to come the following Friday and they said they would try for 9am. I phoned at 9 am to find out when they were coming and they took ages finding my booking. I cancelled and they could not transfer me to the finance team. Strange how they can take my money immediately but not able to transfer to the finance team for a refund as quickly.

Excellent customer service, came out to faulty leaking pipe and all fixed within 24 hours, I believe Ross was the lad that came out to us, he was lovely and very knowledgeable, highly recommended and would definitely use again.

Absolute shambles of a company. Going through an insurance claim with this company, they are incompetent and unprofessional. 2 engineers have been out and still not resolved the issue. The engineers will tell you one thing but when you phone up they tell you another thing and try add stuff on to the job which is not covered by the insurance. Their attitude is not professional. I should not have to chase up jobs which your staff should be doing. They will tell you " i will phone you back" but you will not hear from them. STAY AWAY.

Became a ‘customer’ of WM Donnelly through a home emergency claim via my insurer when my boiler broke down. It’s now been 10 days with no heating in subzero temperatures and 4 visits from their supposed experts diagnosing issues and replacing parts that didn’t resolve the problem. My case has now been closed by my insurer because on their last visit they’ve identified an issue that isn’t covered by my policy. If this had been found on their first visit I’d be able to accept it but their service has been a disgrace from day one. I definitely wouldn’t want to rely on this company in an emergency and would never use them of my own volition for any issue in future.

I was looking for a quotation for a car charger install, Scott called to talk me through the process and price didn't hassle me like most companies do. I sent Scott an e mail saying I wanted to go ahead, within a week jay turned up band on 10am and had it fully installed by 1pm. My insurance called this company out and they said the boiler was knackered to replace after fitting parts wrong I got British gas out for second option, they were in 15 mins and had my boiler up and running after parts been replaced wrongly by this company, and no sorry or combination for the loss of hot water and heating and engineer not doing job properly, totally disappointed as we put trust in these company's especially from a insurance job , I also have special needs kid and left with no heating or hot water and cost me a bill with no explanation from management as I sent him all paperwork it was fixed in 15 mins after 1 his men said I need new boiler so was near out thousands of pounds for this I'm glad I went for a second option, I sent management pics of the report to the fault being fixed I got no reply

Threatening us with legal action AFTER WE HAVE PAID This company is a shambles, as can be seen in the image provided, we have received a letter from Corporate Debt Recovery for the amount of £48.00 plus an additional charge of £10.00 (Debt Recovery Fee) The £48.00 charge is for a boiler service that WM Donnelly performed at our request back in April 2024. We paid WM Donnelly Ltd the full amount back in April 2024. We owe nothing. We have explained this to their accounts department on no less than three seperate occasions. I again phoned their accounts department yesterday but accounts could not speak to me. This matter undoubtedly will be resolved in our favour in the county court. After that we will seek redress for their negligence, time incurred in dealing with this matter and for the stress that we have had to endure in dealing with WM DONNELLY Ltd. I strongly advise anyone wishing to deal with this company to think twice before doing so We have nothing more to say to WM Donnelly Ltd and nothing further to discuss with Corporate Debt Recovery as we have explained the situation In full to both parties and we are no longer repeating ourselves. We look forward to resolving this matter in the county court.

Avoid this company at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. We had a terrible experience with WM. Donnelly & Co. Ltd. They were supposed to carry out a simple part replacement on our boiler repair but arrived hours late and caused a major disaster. The repairman failed to isolate the water supply, leading to severe water damage throughout our home, including soaked carpets and a damaged boiler. The smell became unbearable, and we had to hire a Rug Doctor to manage the odour, but the carpets are completely ruined and our living room needs work done from the water damage. Our house is sold, with a move-out date set, and this has jeopardised the sale. A second opinion from another company confirmed that WM. Donnelly & Co. Ltd. was at fault for this damage. Their negligence has caused us immense stress and inconvenience and they have decide to ignore all complaints and claim that the boiler was damaged beyond economic repair. I have a 3 year old who is now without hot water water and heating as we need a completely new boiler. I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

We had no heating until the engineer Nathan came last week, our thermostat wasn’t working so he had to link it out as a temporary fix. He came out yesterday and replaced the thermostat, he was really informative in what he was doing and helpful.

We had a flood from our shower drain which flooded or bathroom and right threw to our hall. I called our home insurance which got intouch with wm.donnelly & co. They called back pretty quick and got someone out asap.. ross turned up within an hour due to travelling but had the problem solved within 10mins. Explained everything he needed to do and got the job done quick and easy.. really respectful lad who's great at his Job would recommend this company for sure. We recently had an unpleasant plumbing emergency (raw sewage leaking underneath the house) and our insurance company sent WM. Donnelly & Co. Ltd out to resolve the issue. We are so glad they did. The first visit we had Ross Gorman come out. He bravely went underneath the house amongst the waste and provided a temporary fix to the problem which prevented further leakage. Once we had the cleaning company come out to clean up the waste and sanitize under the house, the second plumber from WM Donnelly, Alan Scott, came out and made sure all the pipe work was secure and no longer leaking. Raw sewage leaking underneath the house was a highly worrying concern for myself and my wife, and with her being 5 months pregnant we were incredibly anxious about the issue. However, both the plumbers that came out to help were understanding and professional going above and beyond to fix the problem and provide reassurance. I would gladly recommend these plumbers and this company to anyone and will sing their praises for years to come. Thank you!

We had a flood from our bathroom sink over night. We managed to isolate the water and contacted our emergency home cover provider. In the morning we were contacted by WM Donnelly who said we’d have a plumber out about lunchtime. Ross attended and was pleasant, polite and very efficient. He capped off the leak and gave us advice on how to progress the fault. We opted to go with our own local plumber for ease as they have done work for us before but no hesitation in recommending WM Donnelly who were out quickly to sort our issue (free as covered with home emergency cover).

The worst service that I have ever had. I claimed my insurance to fix the hot water from my boiler, and they had to come 6 times in a month. Every time they left the house, something else was broken. In one of the visits, they left a pipe leak that I had to do an emergency call. They want to do the visit so they can charge you for that.

A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE - AVOID IF YOU CAN!!! I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Donollys Boiler Service recently through my insurance policy, and I cannot emphasise enough how terrible it was. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. Their initial visit left me speechless – mud tracked through my home, the cover left off the fuse/electrical box, and the boiler left in pieces. It was clear they had no regard for professionalism or cleanliness. As if that wasn't enough, the boiler broke down again shortly after their first visit. Scheduling a follow-up appointment was a joke. The engineer was rude and when he showed up refused to wait for my partner who was 5 minutes away, wasting my time and leaving me without heating or hot water for 12 days. Their communication was non-existent, forcing me to make countless calls just to get an update on the status of my repair. And when they finally did attempt to fix the issue, they only made matters worse. In the end, I had to seek help from another company to resolve the problem that Donollys couldn't fix. They left my boiler in an absolutely shocking dangerous state! Save yourself the trouble and avoid Donollys Boiler Service at all costs. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and downright incompetent.

-5 stars . Managed to flood our house on a boiler install which damaged ceilings and carpets which sagged and cracked the ceilings and after some time the cracked areas partially fell in . Contacted them and spoke to The employee we had dealt with/had as a contact who was as helpful as a chocolate tea pot . Just kept palming us off with every excuse . Eventually got a man called Paul bell after phoning and phoning and he said he would look at the damage and had the cheek to say why wasn’t this sorted sooner etc but when your given every excuse under the sun by the girls on the phone and Their employee not phoning back or answering the phone it has dragged on and on . And I have chased and chased and he never phones or emails back. We thought we were dealing with a reputable firm and in reality we’re dealing with the dregs of society absolutely disgraceful how we’ve been treated.

Absolutely dreadful "service"😡😡😡 Scenario: coldest week of winter so far this season, sub zero temperatures. Boiler develops intermittent fault; stops working, RESET button flashing (orange) simply hold RESET button for 4 seconds to allow boiler to restart. Also a slight leak from boiler. Fault intermittently continues. Contacted Sheila's wheels insurance company to initiate boiler breakdown cover. Unfortunately for us they send us an 'engineer' from Wm Donnelly. Guy arrives he is 15 mins TOTAL from parking van to leaving my property. Claims to have stopped leak & needs to order part (heat exchanger), doesn't know how long it will take but office should contact us with relevant info. Boiler 'coincidentally' ceases to operate at all, directly after 'engineers visit'. Left with absolutely no hot water OR heating (SUB ZERO conditions) & no further communication whatsoever from this so called company. People with different disabilities/health conditions left with aggrevated detrimental effect on their health due to absence of ANY form of heating. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL... Would've rated 0 stars if possible

Booked a call-out on Thursday, was advised a fitter would phone on Friday with a time before they arrived. Waited until around 2pm then called back to check a visit was booked. The agent assured me the fitter was running late, no problem. Fitter didn’t turn up ant anll and no contact from the company to say otherwise. Poor, would have given no stars, a full day wasted.

Ross refitted kitchen tap that had came off and had caused water damage to our kitchen. Jason fixed the electrics that had been damaged by the water. Both Ross and Jason’s workmanship was excellent. The only reason it is not a 5 star review is because we had to re contacted the company as time slots given for attendance was not meet and no updates for delays or other time slots given. The gas man was book and didn't appear then called the company said there was an admin error so they book for the next day. Gas man showed up looked at the job said oh can't fit that, very rude and he walked out Absolutely shocking behaviour from a so called professional to treat my elderly parents like that!!
