Sears Brothers Electrical Services Ltd t/a Sears Electrical Services drew mixed reports. One reviewer said two staff were very professional and highly recommended them. Another said an engineer had always done a great job and was their go-to for electrical work. One reviewer was disappointed with an EICR: they said the engineer called an IP44 extractor fan unsuitable for zone 1 based on a reseller rather than the regulations and manufacturer guidance, showed a lack of understanding of what the IP code means, and they could not trust the business with further work. Another reviewer described the service as very bad.
Very bad service only 1 🌟 Rating
Very professional guys.. highly recommended
I am disappointed at Sears who conducted EICR on my property and claims an IP44 rated extractor fan isn't suitable for zone 1 because screwfix (reseller) says so and that it is for zone2 rather than going by the regulations and what manufacturer says. After all they are not doing EICR based on what screwfix says. Engineers have displayed lack of understanding of what IP code means. Couldn't trust them to get any further work done from them.
Aaron has always done a great job and is my go to guy for electrical work. Fairly priced too.
