I cannot rate this company highly enough!! Ashley came out to us in Rotherham and gave us a very reasonable quote for a complete new burglar alarm system and also great advice on what type of system would be best for us. We arranged a convenient day/time for fitting, absolutely no mess and it only took a few hours. I really appreciated the texts to confirm appointments and arrival times. Ashley was really lovely, he fully explained how to use the system and advised us to contact him anytime if any issues. Really happy with everything and would definitely recommend Sidey Electrical!

Ashley changed the lighting in a backlit mirror from neon tubes to LED and renewed our outside lights. His advice when he came to look at the job enabled us to agree improvements on my original ideas and I'm very happy with the end result. Fantastic service from Ash and his team. Replaced a towel rail and fitted an outside socket before dashing over to my parents who were left housebound and cold when their Fischer heating failed. Sidey Electrical had them back up and running very quickly, and challenged Fischer when they attempted to sell my Dad unnecessary parts, saving him considerable expense. Its not just what Sidey do, its the way they do it. The whole team are honest, polite and very friendly. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more. Sidey electrical carried out a whole rewire for a semi-detached property in S10. A pleasure to deal with throughout. Organising the work was straightforward and very transparent with the cost and zero pressure. The work itself was clearly communicated and advice offered throughout the process and done to a high standard. We came across sidey electrical on Facebook as he had just fitted a defibrillator in the community at no cost for the company and that sat very well with myself and partner. Ashley came to our home to assess - a little bit of history to my review is that we bought a new build in 2012 and always had issues with the alarm system, we had used other companies in the past to rectify to no avail ( they wanted to replace at a high cost). After a spate of burglaries in the area we wanted to add a couple of security lights and cameras to our properrty. Ashley had our alarm working within an hour of his visit and gave us a very good price for the security we wanted… ( also new fire alarms on 3 floors) he did the work yesterday and we are over the moon at the professionalism and quality of his work which is very neat and top quality. Can't recommend Sidey Electrical enough, quoted for the work ahead of time and arrived as they said they would. The work done was to a high standard, and done as they had planned. Other than the work itself, the team were very friendly, professional and tidy - even covering up tidying their tools overnight which we were happy for them to leave a in a mess! My two year old was running around while some of the work was happening and they were very good with her and working around our mess. Next set of jobs already booked in!

Been with us a couple of days this week and have done a really professional job, sorting out what was basically spaghetti around our consumer unit with a brand new one and rcd, fixed 2 home threatening problems including one with our solar system which only a top electrician would have found; new feed to our electric cooker, new shower fan and bathroom light, replaced a broken socket, in fact made a handful of things safe that were a bit sketchy. Brilliant stuff chaps, thank you. And if anyone reading this is looking around for an electrician, based on how they left our house after just a day and a half, book 'em, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered a Hypervolt EV charging point and Sidey Electrical were the recommended installer. Really glad that was the case as the Sidey team did a cracking job. From the site survey (which a lot of other companies are doing over video rather than in person), quote and scheduling everything was slick and timely. I’ve had terrible experiences from other trade people who take ages to turn quotes round or who don’t even turn up, not the case with Ash and the team. Installation day was great, they were well organised and just got on with the job after a quick briefing. They were patient and paid attention to the quality of the work and any specific instructions I had. Cabling was tidy and the handover and demo of the charging point was done well. Sidey are exactly the right type of installers Hypervolt need to maintain their excellent reputation.

Ash arrived on time with another colleague. After a brief review of what work we were expecting, I left him to crack on with it. We were massively impressed with the service. The work was completed professionally and with amazingly little disruption. (My fiancée and I both work from home and we literally hardly knew any work was being done other than when the drilling was being done). Fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves brilliantly and were polite and considerate of our work whilst performing their own. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could and will be telling everyone I can about their service.

I recently used Ashley and his Team to complete a total rewire of a rental property. Ashley was professional throughout; turned up on time; constructive with advice and support and provided excellent communications, and that was prior to any work taking place. The work itself was completed quicker than anticipated, without compromising on quality. Rewiring whole houses tend to be a dusty and mucky business, but the property was left in a very tidy state. Ash did not send an invoice straightaway. Instead he wanted me to make sure that I was totally satisfied with the work, which of course I was. Its the little things like this that go a long way with customer retention. I was more than happy with the price quoted prior to commencements of work, but because it did not take as long as scheduled, Ash reduced to price to reflect this. Again, excellent customer service. Would I recommend Ash and Sidey Electrical? Damn right I would and they will be the first company I contact for any other work I need doing.

I've used Sidey electrical twice now. First time round was a big job, fitting a new fuse board, installing wired in smoke alarms, and other smaller jobs. And second time was for my washing machine that have developed an electrical fault. Both times, I found Ash very friendly and professional. And on the second visit Ash came round on the same day I called due to some urgent concerns I had, which I really appreciated.

They are tidy and professional, and so helpful! I also left them at my home unattended whilst they put up my wall lights as they are very trustworthy, and have done so much work for my family!
