Yesterday Solar Select carried out my annual Solar Service, l Selected this company because of their outstanding customer service and support was second to none. Jack their customer service engineer was very polite and helpful he rectified my issue with my WiFi router and inverter dongle being offline for three months he also found that the battery had been turned off, which he turned back on, l received an invoice for the service and a list of redeemable items l would highly recommend this company for their outstanding customer service and technical support. A excellent company to deal with. I initially contacted SS via their web form, I received a response within an hour. The following day a Sales representative visited my home and guided me through the various options available, answered all my questions and sent me a very detailed quotation the following day. After accepting the quote, the administrative team followed up quickly organising the various permissions required to carry out the installation. Installation was organised for two weeks time. On the first day the scaffolding team arrived and with 3 hrs had installed scaffolding to two elevations. The following day, two engineers and two roofers arrived to install the system. The roofers installed the 14 PV panels, whilst the 2 engineers installed the battery, inverter and connecting cables. The engineers returned on the 3rd day to complete the installation and by lunch time had completed the work, commissioned the system and talked me through the use of the App to control the system. Meanwhile the scaffolding team had reappeared to dismantle and remove the scaffolding. 2 1/2 days in total. The site was left clean and tidy. I could not have asked for a better service.

Solar Panels are great until something goes wrong and then you find out that the previous installer has closed down. Even after a small fire and not being the original supplier Solar Select came out the next day to survey and make safe. They then negotiated with the original Manufacturer for a free Inverter and fitted it all within days.

I was very happy with the work done by Solar Select. They were easy to deal with and turned up when they said they would. I could definitely recommend this company.

Great Team. We’re very helpful installing our system a few years back. Occasional issues with the solar edge optimisers since but have been very quick to deal with them and sort out.

Solar Select were very professional and accommodating throughout, from initial site visit through installation and commissioning the system. Very pleased with the quality of the work. Employees were a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend. Started on the Monday and system was commissioned and scaffolding removed by Lunchtime on the Thursday.

A fantastic personal service from initial enquiry to finished installation. John came and talked us through the options and it was refreshing to have some help us rather than sell us “the most expensive” Installation - jack and his mate (sorry can’t remember his name) were so respectful of our home. They got on with the job and then once installed talked us through it all. Beki in the office was brilliant too, answering questions, and communicating everything all the way through the process. Honestly would give these guys more than 5 stars if possible. Thanks for everything all of you. ☺️

We recently had a solar and battery system installed by Solar Select, and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Our daughter had used Solar Select last year and spoke very highly of them, praising their knowledge, helpfulness, and overall service. Based on her recommendation, we included them when gathering quotes from several companies. Not only were they the most competitive, but they also impressed us from the outset. Before providing a quote, they carried out a full survey of my property and offered genuinely useful advice during the visit. This level of care and expertise gave us confidence, and it was one of the key reasons we chose to go ahead with Solar Select. Although supply issues meant they couldn’t source the originally quoted equipment within a sensible timeframe, they went above and beyond by offering a higher‑spec GoodWe system at the same price. That level of integrity is rare and very much appreciated. Scaffolding was put up the day before installation, and the full system was completed over three days. The workmanship was excellent—professional, tidy, and clearly carried out with pride. Communication throughout was also first‑class; every question was answered in a friendly and informative way. The system was generating power immediately after commissioning, and performance has been superb. One outstanding issue remained: ensuring that my EV charger didn’t draw power from the battery system, which would have drained it quickly. Initially it seemed like a software tweak would solve it, but it became clear that a significant wiring change and an additional fuseboard were required. Solar Select handled all of this at no extra cost, which speaks volumes about their commitment to doing the job properly. In summary, Solar Select have been a pleasure to deal with at every stage. They respond quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver work to a very high standard. We are extremely happy with our installation, and the system is performing beyond expectations. Highly recommended.

I contacted Solar Select to help with a Solar PV system that I inherited on our property with no supporting paperwork. I have to say that they were very easy to speak to and Debbie was very helpful, once they understood what was needed they made arrangements to come out to service the system and provide the electrical certificates. I will definitely be using them again in the future for any upgrade work and servicing, highly recommended for all your Solar PV requirements.

Brilliant service from the very start. I was given very good and sound advice as to how to extend my battery system/ Then there were a few issues with the installation but Solar Select could not have been more helpful in getting things sorted. and quickly. I should say some of the issues were not of their making but because of local setup. Even so they were eager to help. I could not recommend this company more highly.

I am very pleased with my solar system from Solar Select!😀 John came to my house first to talk me through what system would be best for me and my house. (He even enjoyed my cup of tea, not many people do, which really sealed the deal!) He was great and very informative, making it as easy as possible for me to understand ( which is difficult!) Then Brendan did all the technical stuff and I saw the plans and a couple of quotes. I accepted the one I wanted, and paid the £1.00 deposit. Next thing scaffolding was up, panels on the roof and my system is all set up! Job's a goodun!😀. All done, from start to finish, in 30 days! Thanks also to Becky for organising everything and putting up with me on the phone 😆. 1. Replaced a faulty Inverter & identified that there was also a faulty optimiser of 16 panels. 6 of which were lower, on a garage roof, with the others in two groups of 5 higher up on the house roof. 2.It was decided that it was not cost effective to examine the upper 10. But was worth investigating those lower down. 3. The advice, costing & organisation by Debbie Stanley, was particularly helpful efficient. 4. The Engineers deployed were also excellent.

I had a site visit by John and he was very professional and informative. He did not push to get the sale but took his time and found solutions to get the correct setup for my property. I would highly recommend this company for a survey, John reach out to another colleague as we hit a few snags but they came up with some good suggestions and quite possibly a solution to my usage. Great advice and help throughout the buying process for battery pack, inverter and gateway. Installation went well but a follow up visit decided certain aspects needed to be fixed/tidied, so after sales also good……so far. We’re just a week in. Shame the sun hasn’t appeared much!

Had a visit from Martin from Solar Select at our offices today in relation to our solar panelling. Such a professional service, Martin was so knowledgeable and really explained how everything worked and made it so easy to understand for people who don't have a clue about any of this. VERY VERY impressed!

I had a new hybrid inverter and two batteries fitted back in 2019. Sales team, fitters and service was great and Debbie in the office was really helpful recently rectifying an issue. I recommend this company.

Strongly recommended. This is my fourth dealing with Solar Select, and they have performed well each time. On the one previous occasion where there was a post installation issue, tis was dealt with effectively and promptIy. Today I had an EV wallbox installed today by Sam and Jack, who worked diligently and professionally. Thanks to Sam for the post-installation tutorial and spending time ensuring I can make the most of the devices and apps. Also many thanks to the superlative Debbie in the office, ensuring everything happens when it should, and keeping the grateful customer in the loop!

Nice people to work with, friendly and approachable. Kept me well informed throughout the process. Installation went ahead much sooner than I thought it would and took less time. Gave me a good run-through of the system. Made the whole experience of installing solar panels and battery less intimidating and hassle-free than it at first seemed.

Our roof's solar panels were initially installed by Project Solar UK Ltd. Unfortunately, when a poorly fitted panel led to a leak, they declined to carry out the necessary remedial works responding "we do not offer any workmanship warranties or guarantees", even though we were covered under NHBC. Fortunately, Solar Select UK Ltd stepped in, willingly taking on the task of repairing and addressing the issues with our solar panel and roof at a reasonable price, and they did so without any complications. We appreciate their assistance.

While our initial install was very good a few issues were noticed after a few months and despite emails and phone calls we have not had any response from Solar Select. We were able to get help from others in the industry to correct the issues but as the system has a 10 year guarantee associated with it, I’m not confident of getting support as things progress if required. Update: since our original issues, Solar Select have been back in touch and have re-affirmed their support for our system. They have also responded quickly to my request to update the control of my system leading me to update my review and suggest that they are a good installer of solar and battery technology

Once again Solar Select Sam came to install on my property and once again impeccable service. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam to explain. Full consultation with me over the installation position was made and totally satisfied with the product. Of course, I must mention the office staff, from the lady that took my call to the sales team - all superb

Choose solar select to fit PV panels and battery storage. They gave a competitive price, had good reviews and most importantly were fairly local to me. Had to wait a while due to the huge demand for their services, as the energy prices shot up, but now all supplied and fitted. The fitting team were excellent, fully informed me what they were doing and what was needed, hard working and did a very tidy job.

Excellent service and support all the way through the project. Understood our needs and worked with our building contractor. Arranged work and supplied hardware quickly. All staff courteous, efficient and excellent communication. Thoroughly recommended.
