I enquired with this company via checkatrade while I was shopping around for a job I needed completing. I received a few quotes and decided on another company so, so that I didn’t waste this company’s time, I cancelled with them. I then received a really rude, unprofessional and snotty reply saying it wasn’t about the time, and that I had cost them £10! Couldn’t believe how rude they were, so would avoid in the future.

Very rude company. I asked for a quote to connect a main earthing conductor that had been installed by UK Power Network, and was told by David Goldfinch that they wouldn't accept 'crumbs', as they had previously provided me with a quote for a different job and had not got it (an electrician I had used previously had agreed to do the work for far less). He then accused me of using them! I replied saying I thought it was very rude and unprofessional to respond to a request in such a way, whereupon David replied saying he was autistic and it was a 'personality clash'. In my opinion, autism is no excuse for rudeness. I simply asked for a quote and he could easily have responded by saying it was too small a job to be worthwhile, and that would have been quite acceptable. I certainly won't be approaching this company again and would advise anyone else looking for courteous and professional treatment to go elsewhere.

Fantastic service from the outset. Clear and communicative throughout. Professional and polite when on site. High quality work, that did not feel rushed and left the property clean and tidy once the job was finished. The gold standard of service and exactly the sort of experience you would want from a tradesperson.

OUTSTANDING COMPANY I hired Goldfinch just before Christmas 21, knowing how busy everyone is and how hard it can be to source anything needed at present i had no expectations of the job being done anytime in the next two weeks. However the job was done finished all my questions answered promptly. They fitted three storgae heaters into a 1757 built cottage. Invoices very clear and organised. Not to mention how tidy they were working and clearing up they did a fabulous job. Would definitely recommend this company. Lovely firm well established.
