Obrien Electrical Ltd

I recently used O’Brian Electrical for an extensive range of domestic and renewable energy work, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From complex modern integrations to standard remedial repairs, the quality of workmanship was top-tier. Work Completed: Renewables & Tech: Seamlessly wired in my solar panel system, EcoFlow Solar Panels, and Stream Ultra. Safety & Upgrades: Installed a new main consumer unit and performed a full EICR (electrical testing) of the entire house. EV Infrastructure: Decommissioned an old EV charger and replaced it with a new, dedicated consumer unit housed professionally in the meter box for a much cleaner, safer setup. Maintenance: Handled several light fixture changes and successfully identified/removed redundant old wiring. Why I Recommend Them: Technical Expertise: They are clearly very experienced with both traditional house wiring and the latest smart energy technology. Professionalism: The team is focused on getting the job done right the first time. The wiring is neat, organized, and meets very high standards. Trustworthy: They are reliable and stand by their work—if something needs a tweak, they make it right without hesitation. Value: The pricing is very fair for the high quality of work provided. All tasks were completed in a timely manner without cutting corners. If you are looking for a local electrician in Dinas Powys who is competent, honest, and capable of handling complex jobs, O’Brian Electrical is the one to call. I will definitely be using them again.

Excellent service provided by this family run business. From start to finish they were friendly, professional and respectful of our home and us, whilst undertaking a full rewiring service. We will not hesitate in recommending their services to others. Well done guys 👍

Excellent communication and attention to detail from initial enquiry through to final sign off. Honest and trustworthy and providing they are fed coffee and tea they just get on and do as per the exact plan they describe and is agreed. They are very flexible and listen to observations and they also provide some choices, directing to the best choice. Professional and have all the necessary qualifications. A family orientated business and I wish them every success in the future. I told them they are my adopted electricians for future and beyond. Photos taken before cage fitted covering batteries. More photos to follow.
