Hubbard Electrical

Lloyd was thorough and professional from quote to installation. Prompt and communicative at every stage. Would highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional work from two young electricians from Hubbard Electrical Renewables. They installed hard-wired, interlinked smoke alarms and a heat alarm to an exceptionally high standard. They were professional, courteous, efficient and clearly took great pride in their work. The workmanship was excellent, they were tidy and respectful of my home, and everything was explained clearly. It’s refreshing to see such high standards from two young electricians who are obviously very committed to doing a great job. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hubbard Electrical Renewables. Excellent service from start to finish.

Excellent certified electrician. Trustworthy, reliable, clean and tidy work, turns up when he says he will. Lloyd clearly takes pride in his work. Reasonably priced. Has completed a number of works at my property. My house is over 200 years old and Lloyd has done a complete rewire of the oldest part of my property ensuring it now all complies with today's regulations. Also in newer part of property he has upgraded fan in bathroom, replacing existing ceiling lights, supplying carbon monoxide monitors. I would highly recommend Hubbard Electrical & Renewables.

Quality of work was done to a professional standard Arrived at the time agreed and was clean and tidy, removed all replaced items Would definitely recommend

I contacted Lloyd through his website contact form in the evening after our lights started to trip regularly. Lloyd was quick to respond giving clear information and a date he could visit to investigate. He arrived on time and worked through the issue brilliantly giving me clear information and choices to fix the issue. Problem solved in a couple of hours!

Absolute 5 star quality in all aspects of the job. Also re wired main ceiling and wall lights. The two outdoor plugs are brilliant. Treated my elderly parents with patience and kindness too. Thank you so much for a fantastic job done. It will make life so much easier especially at Christmas time with outdoor lights. Thank you

Lloyd has been our go-to electrician for the last few years. He always turns up when he has agreed and is always punctual. Every job he has completed has been to an exceptionally high standard. He is reliable, professional, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. Most recently, Lloyd upgraded our existing solar PV system and significantly increased our battery storage capacity. The difference has been incredible. Since the upgrade, our solar panels have been providing all of our hot water through the Eddi solar diverter, as well as supplying the vast majority of our household electricity. The system also includes an EV charger, allowing us to make even greater use of our own renewable energy. The improvements have made a noticeable difference to our energy bills and have helped us become far less reliant on the grid. We’re absolutely delighted with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lloyd to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy electrician or considering solar, battery storage, or EV charging. Second time we've had Lloyd round to do work on our house, and we'll definitely ask him for work again in the future. Lloyd is a brilliant electrician, with an outstanding eye for detail and safety. Recently we've had him do a fuseboard change, bringing it up to modern standards. While doing this, he identified an issue with a plug socket under the stairs, an issue we had forgotten about long ago, and he fixed it without being asked. He has also installed new plug and light fittings in our bedroom renovation, including sensor activated LED lights for our wardrobe that's being built. On top of that, he also did a brilliant job of installing a stunning Andersen Quartz EV charger for us, even notifying our energy distributor of changes needed to our looped supply. Not a single detail missed. We're made up with his work, thank you again Lloyd!

Had a Sync Energy EV charger installed by Lloyd today. Lloyd is very professional, courteous electrician, very tidy in his work and explained every aspect of the EV charger and how to install the and configure the app and how to switch to an EV tariff. All work very reasonably priced. Top work Lloyd! Thank you very much

Excellent service from Lloyd, changed multiple light fittings all wireless, rewired the garage and utility and a new distribution board. All work done in super quick time, no mess. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, we had an EV charge point fitted. From the onset of the initial equiry to complete installation nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and efficient job completed. A full explanation was given on how the EV point works. Thanks very mucc We would highly recommend Hubbard electrics for the excellent service . Thanks

We had an EV charger fitted and very pleased with the work carried professionally and on the date we agreed. We would recommend Hubbard Electrical and would use them again.

I cannot recommend Lloyd enough. He installed our boiler thermostat and an extractor fan on new year's eve. He is very diligent, tidy, and it's clear he takes a lot of pride in his work. A few hours later we encountered a short circuit in the house. I called him and he came straight back. It was nothing to do with his work and sheer coincidence that our drain pump had decided to fail on a completely different feed. The fact he came back on New year's eve is a testament to his work ethos . Today is a Sunday and he came back to rewire the new pump in outside. It's freezing cold, blowing a gale and snow everywhere. But that didn't put him off even when I gave him the option to reschedule. It's so refreshing to find a tradesman who you can get hold of, is responsive, turns up when they say they are going to, and does an excellent job. I won't look anywhere else for electrical work now and cannot recommend him enough and wish him all the success he deserves.

Lloyd fitted my EV charger. He made helpful suggestions on installation, corrected some work done by previous electrician, followed up to check charger working. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lloyd
