Addisons Electrical and Security Contracting Ltd

Had an Electrical Installation Condition Report done, Unpleasant people to deal with, would not recommended, 1 Star

Great service and couldn't be happier with their work . Definitely will be using Addisons in the new future 👍

Excellent service that's why I've given 5 star. Second time I have used them very efficient and polite.

First of all, Matt is amazing. Protect him at all costs as he is such an asset to your company. He not only fixed my electrical problem but he took the time to explain the issue to me and it was actually really interesting! I'm very impressed and will be coming to you for any future problems. I 100% recommend the company

Within 24 hours of calling , my wall radiator was up and working , great service, David was friendly and so helpful , Gavin is really good to deal with too.

From start to finish Addison we're great would highly recommend them there engineers were very polite and efficient and I would not hesitate using them in the future

I recommend Addisons for a number of reasons. They are responsive, punctual, polite and friendly and their work is of the highest standard at a reasonable price.

Another job just done for me by Addisons and as always they are prompt and efficient......a first class firm!

Communication flawless, kept up to date at every stage. The engineer was extremely competent but also very friendly and really easy to talk to. The job was absolutely first class. I simply can't recommend this company too highly

What a fabulous company. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Cant praise them enough for the time and effort to ensure a quality customer service. I would highly recommend them. Catherine

The really lovely team of Mat and Josh have done a fantastic job here today, we couldn’t have wished for nicer people and the work they’ve carried out has been done extremely neatly and professionally, and Mat has been thorough in explaining the various stages of the work in hand. It has been an absolute pleasure. These guys are a total credit to the industry and I would thoroughly recommend this company to undertake electrical work and we will certainly be using the Company again! All in all a fantastic job, well done!

I’m Parmar’s properties. Well experienced in Developing. This company been about 4 years. And anyone with no experience they will be ripped off without them knowing . I would keep away from this company as there is a lot better out there, Only good about them nice shinny vans and a good website.

This was an amazing service. The guy who came and installed the socket went above and beyond with the work and his wonderful attitude. Couldn't be happier. It was half the amount of money I was quoted by a different company. Highly recommended

From the initial phone call to the job being finished a very professional job. An excellent price compared what other firms were quoting. Would certainly recommend Addisons to any other customers. Thank you to Dave who carried out the work an excellent new addition to Addisons workforce. Thank you Addisons.

Excellent work from Tom today, knew immediately waste it,an absolute pleasure to have such a polite young man in my house. Can recommend Addisons Electrical.

Extremely poor, unreliable service. Electrician did not turn up and his employer (Gemma) was rude, unhelpful and offered no apology for their company not providing a very basic level of good customer service - I.e a courtesy call if they’re running over an hour behind schedule. Save yourself a very unpleasant experience and use a different company.

Work carried out really efficiently, pleased with communication & how tidy they were. Will definitely contact Addisons again for any future work that we need. We've had lots of different work carried out in our home, and wish we had used them sooner. Thank you!

Excellent service professional helpful best ever will use again

We have just had an electric car charger installed by Addisons electrician called Tom he did an excellent job clean and tidy no mess.he then talked me through how to use the charger operating system. I would recommend Addisons for any electrical work Stuart Varley from Roecliffe

Its often said that finding good trades people can be hard. Addisons Electrical tick all of the boxes. Great service, excellent engineers, brilliant communication. A very happy customer! :-)

Thank you for your prompt and efficient service. Very pleased with the job that was done.

Addisons have worked for me in the past very satisfactorily and have just done an excellent job for me in a difficult situation. It was reassuring to have Gavin and his well chosen team working out what was required, communicating with me and getting it done. They are efficient, intelligent and good to work with - a very professional but friendly and helpful company. RH

Rang him up late on an evening for some electrical safety advice. Answered and took the time to listen and explain to me. Massively impressed, top bloke.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AS ALWAYS. THANK YOU TRACEY WRIGGLESWORTH. CRAVEN HOLMES ESTATE AGENTS

Addison electrical and security a great company all highly trained and very informative and expertly done job very friendly to talk to. Fantastic job done has always.

Excellent friendly professional service Quality work soon sorted out and corrected my electrical problems Highly Recommended

We needed a number of jobs involving lighting and switches. Excellent professional and reliable service. A joy to find a company and team that do what they say they can do. Refreshing in this day and age. Highly recommend.

Punctual response to a security alarm malfunction with efficient repair and comprehensive check of the entire system at reasonable cost.

As always, a first class service from Gavin and his team. On time and very tidy. Totally professional..

Excellent service throughout and responsive to any questions/queries. Would definitely recommend.

Addisons are amazing. Head and shoulders above any electricians I have ever dealt with. Amazing customer service and unbelievable efficiency. Andrew Beadnall Beadnall Copley

We needed some extra sockets and also a burglar alarm system and heat detectors. Addisons came out the same day to deal with a repair we needed as a priority, and then made arrangements to do the rest of the work. The work was then carried out as agreed with the minimum of disruption and everything was left tidy. We are very happy with the work that has been done and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Gavin is a friendly and very helpful gentleman. Professional in their attitude but very affable and friendly. Gavin and Tom did great work for us in our lounge and dining room. Not happy to just do the job, he communicate well and his advise is invaluable in making it a quality finish. I highly recommend this young man to any potential customer. Polite and friendly with a can do attitude. Addison's is the company to use for all your electrical needs.

New electrical installation

Everyone arrived on time, and was very knowledgeable. All the advice given was spot on, and we're very pleased with the results of all the work carried out. We'd always use this firm in future!

Fantastic company, responded to my enquiry very quickly and arranged to have an electrician come out the same day. Extremely professional, efficient and friendly, would definitely recommend to others and will be my go to should I need an electrician again!

Superb work and approach. I needed an EV charger. Gavin advised which and where - way better ideas than I had. Sourced a bespoke pole with down lighter. Excellent installation. Returned the day after to fix an issue even though it was nothing to do with their work. Fabulous.

Excellent Service, great communication, very satisfied with the work carried out.

Couldn’t recommend this company enough. After a poor experience with another company I found Addisons Electrical to be professional, honest and competitive with their price. Tom who did the install is an asset to the company too.

We were very impressed with Gavin's knowledge, reliability and professionalism throughout the installation of our ev charger. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend his company.

Very prompt service and excellent work left everything clean and tidy. Thankyou!

The Heineken slogan "refreshes the parts other beers don't reach" could be applied to this business. Excellent work, came out the same day and sorted everything within 3 closely spaces visits. Really great work. V grateful for the prompt, efficient and reasonable priced service. Superb. Without Gavin and Tom's work our holiday cottage would not have been able to operate and a potentially damaging set of negative reviews would have followed.

Very impressed by the service that we received, from the original callout after we had problems with our current alarm, right through to the installation of a new one. Would definitely use them again.

Having used Addison Electrical before we had no hesitation in using them again. We are very happy with the work carried out and found everyone concerned to be polite, professional and efficient.

I contacted Addisons on friday evening after seeing their impressive website and asked them if they could do some work for me on monday, expecting the response would be negative as it was very short notice, i needed 6 new powerpoints fitting on monday before i moved into our new house on Tuesday, the response was positive, and come monday morning Tom arrived on time as agreed, and carried the required work efficiently and quickly and to a very high standard at the agreed price which was brilliant considering the short notice that i gave. Addisons will be my first port of call if i ever need their services again, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else who needs a professional electrician.

Good quote for adding in electric circuit to summerhouse and shed with sockets, lighting and outside lighting. Not quite the cheapest quote we had but included a lot of extras like trunking, usb sockets, external weatherproof socket etc. So I'd think overall very competitive and likely would have been cheapest like for like. As for the work, cannot be faulted. On time, great communication, knowledgeable and great advice. Can't really ask for more. Wanted additional work done to add a supposed plug and play system to central heating. It certainly wasn't plug and play. I'd worked that out and Gavin was keen to do but advised waiting till past Christmas. Very sensible. Required all the wiring changed at the tank and valves but no problem for Gavin and working fine. Cannot speak highly enough of the work and attitude. Will certainly be first port of call for any additional work I require. Would certainly recommend as well to family, friends or anyone considering electrical work.

Tom checked our fuse box/ sockets as well as installing a new cooker extraction fan. He was efficient and polite and took time to answer all of my dang fool questions. Recommended!

Gavin was great, during the initial quotation visit he answered all our questions and came across very genuine and knowledgeable within his trade. He was easily contactable and replied promptly and provided us with a detailed quote and breakdown. During the works Gavin was again prompt and tidy and finished the work to a high standard and kept us updated throughout. We will definitely be calling on his services for future work.

First class service ! On time, wore overshoes & covered area with dust sheet. Couldn’t be happier highly recommended. .

Gavin provided an excellent service installing extra sockets in my garage, an external socket and two PIR lights on the front and rear of my garage. All communication with Gavin was excellent. Initial contact was made by email, and then a visit to obtain a quote. There was a minor issue with an installation date, but Gavin and I had a discussion, and arranged an alternative date. On the installation day everything installed professionally, excellent job all round. Really neat and tidy finishing.

great very high quality will use again thank you

Professional, quality work. Good value and genuine nice guy. Would highly recommend.

Gavin installed electric into our garage great work and so professional. He was recommended to me by my brother and I would highly recommend him to anyone else. Highly professional from the moment you contact him for a quote to when he finishes the work.

Amazing company, very happy with Gavin's work. Prompt, good value for money & I wouldn't hesitate in using Addisons again or recommending them to my friends & family.

Able to do the job at short notice. Professional and friendly service. Will definitely use again.

What are the basic expectations of a contractor/tradesmen….to be on time and do a good job! Prompt, polite and professional is how I would describe Addisons Electrical & Security. The work I requested was completed to a high standard at a respectable price. I would highly recommend their services and will certainly be using them in future.

Fantastic experience from Addisons Electrical. Gavin came abit further from home to us to fit entire electrics to my log cabin, for use to run my beauty business from. I am absolutely over the moon. The lighting is perfect, bright. It's very neat and tidy. And such a lovely genuine, friendly guy. I'd recommend Addisons Electrical and security to anyone I know. Thank you so much!!!

I've used Addison's Electrical for several jobs including light fitting installations, fitting additional sockets, repairs to the main panel, installing outdoor lights, and the installation of new points for a double oven and induction hob. Gavin has been great and works to an incredibly high standard. Most recently I've had two additional double sockets fitted which was carried out by Matt and Ian - again they work to a very high standard, and all lads have been polite, professional, on time, and very tidy workers. Addison's are good value for money too and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I will also be "handing over" the monitoring and maintenance of my alarm system to them shortly.

Gav and Ian recently installed a car charger for me. They were both very professional. Their attention to detail was excellent and I am very pleased with the end result. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone thinking of getting a charger or any other electrical work.

Gavin added some more power points in the kitchen & garage to our new build house. Excellent service would definitely recommend.

Top class act, one of the cleanest most professional trades I've come across, there is dearer sparks than Addison's, that aren't half as good. Will be using again without doubt.

Gavin checked out cattery electrics and provided a wonderful, competent and professional service. We shall be using Gavin again in the future.

Gavin replaced three light fittings for us and couldn't be happier with the quality, time it took, and cost. Professional and personable, highly recommend

Brilliant professional service. Would absolutely recommend.

Great service from Gavin, from booking an Electrical report to receiving the documents - very prompt and professional. Would definitely recommend

Gavin was very professional fitting our hive active heating system in less than an hour with no fuss. Friendly good value service

A rapid, professional service which I would recommend and use again. It makes a refreshing change to receive a bill that was LESS than the original quote !!

Gavin installed some lighting for us at our home and we could not of been happier with the end result. He was very professional and I loved the fact that he wore boot covers to protect our carpets. We would highly recommend him.

Fast and friendly service. I would definitely use them again.

Quality service, wired two outbuildings for power and lighting and fitted led fluorescent light in loft. Thanks Gav

Having dealt with many electricians over the years, both privately and professionally, I have no hesitation in recommending Gavin Addison and the work that he does.

I called and he literally jumped straight in his van and drove to our home, arriving 20 minutes later! He was friendly and professional, assessing the job and completing it quickly and tidily. It was very reasonable and saved us a lot of heartache too! We’re chuffed to bits with the service we received and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you!

Addison's Electrical and Security Contracting provided a fantastic professional, friendly and reliable service for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The work was very competitively priced and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will look forward to using them next time.

Really efficient and trustworthy service - got everything done that we needed doing in super quick time and all work done to a really high standard. Even checked in with us a few days later to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend!

Brilliant service - fitted me in last minute and was able to do everything I needed including a couple of extra bits not quoted for initially. Friendly and trustworthy. Used Gavin twice now and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Very professional and polite. I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

We used Addisons to install a series of PIR lights around our property and we were very impressed indeed. Communications was quick and responsive, electrical and product knowledge was first class, pricing was very reasonable (we had compared several companies) and the whole experience was entirely professional, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
