One reviewer says Chapman Electrical Ltd came out the next day after a tripping circuit breaker, found the fault and got the power back on, describing the service as friendly and helpful. Another called the service very professional, and a third said it was excellent. One reviewer was not impressed after paying £2,000 for a full electrical check and alarm installation in 2018, saying later work by other electricians found old single-insulated wiring on much of the first floor and badly finished bathroom lighting, leaving them with little confidence in the work. Another reviewer said the business never showed up to fix a mistake it had made after a visit had been arranged.
Called these guys as had a issues with a circuit breaker tripping. Came out next day, the engineer found the issue and had my power back up and running. Friendly helpful and great service. I would highly recommend Chapman Electrical.
Did a full check of electrics/wiring in 2018 when we bought the property and installed heat/smoke/CO alarms at a total cost of £2000. Various disappointing issues identified since by other electricians such as old single insulated wiring throughout much of the 1st floor and a bathroom which has at some point had 4 spotlights reduced to 3 and the remaining light left wired in and just chucked up on top of the ceiling so that when you turn on the bathroom lights the loft above is also lit up… Not impressed to have spent so much money to ensure our safety only to find that the wiring is in fact still quite risky. Leaves me with little confidence in the work.
Never showed up to fix a mistake they made after arranging to come round to sort it.
Very professional service always.
