Colchester EV Chargers - EV Charger Installers

Lea has been exceptional from the very first conversation. I reached out during a period of home renovation to have a future‑proof EV charging cable installed, and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He took the time to explain the options clearly, worked around the renovation schedule, and was friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in getting things right. After researching and reviewing others prior to contact, the fact he was local and had great report from other customers helped me make my decision and I wasn’t sorry that I did. I’m really looking forward to the next stage of the project and welcoming Lea back for the installation and commissioning of the charging point. Highly recommended for anyone wanting reliable, knowledgeable and customer‑focused EV charger support.

What a great guy Lea is! He was professional from start to finish and made the whole EV charger installation completely stress free. The installation is exceptionally neat and tidy and we’re really pleased with the result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and professional installer.

I couldn’t be happier with the service from Colchester EV Chargers. From the start, Lea took his time to talk me through his ideas and explain the best approach for my installation, which gave me real confidence in the work being carried out. The installation itself was incredibly neat and tidy, and Lea was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. Even though this was the first time he’d added this specific charger to an existing system like mine, he never rushed. Instead, he took the time to make sure everything was working perfectly before walking me through the system and explaining exactly how it all worked. It’s clear that Lea genuinely cares about the quality of his work and making sure his customers are happy and fully understand their installation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Colchester EV Chargers to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and customer-focused installer.

Fantastic service from Lea who is very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for someone to install your home EV charger. Thank you very much!!!

Lea and his wife are amazing - best customer service ever, honest, found the best solution for my specific needs. Highly recommended.

I’d highly recommend Colchester EV Chargers. We had a great experience with Lea from start to finish. He came out free of charge initially to assess our requirements, provide a quote, and talk us through the best options for our property and vehicle. His knowledge of EV chargers and the installation process was excellent, and he was happy to answer all of our questions. Lea was able to fit us in before we received our new car, which meant everything was installed, tested, and ready to go from day one. He was friendly, professional, and completed the installation quicker than expected while maintaining a very high standard of work. The whole process was straightforward and hassle-free. Payment was easy through the online system, and all certificates and documentation were sent to us promptly after the installation. We’re extremely pleased with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lea and Colchester EV Chargers to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable EV charger installer.

Lea, did an amazing job. Very quick to do the survey and short lead in time for the installation. Was super helpful with the initial set up and made sure my car connected perfectly. Highly recommended.

Lea and Tamara were amazing. They responded very quickly and arranged approval and installation of the charger in time for the new car. Great service. Thank you. 🤩

Very neat installation, excellent communication, completed in just a few hours.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Lovely people to deal with, very efficient, and the installation was carried out neatly and tidily. They talked us through the whole process and were really helpful in getting the app set up and working properly. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have an EV charger installed at home.

They are very friendly and helpful family run company. Whole process was very efficient. They are also around if further help or questions that may arise after installment. O would highly recommend

Quick to quote, not a long wait for instalation, all done in a day. Checken in after a week to see all was okay. No complaints

A fantastic service from start to finish. Lea and Richard installed our 15kW myenergi libbi system and paired it with our existing Zappi charger and solar setup. They were very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole process, and took the time to make sure everything was set up properly. The installation itself is very neat and tidy, and I’m really pleased with it. I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and reliable installer.

Excellent, Carried out all work to high standard on time and professional. Getting them back to carry out other work would highly recommend 👍🏻

Recently had an Ohme Epod charger installed, very happy with the install. Lea was great to deal with, charger easy to use through the app.

Amazing from start to finish. Lea was brilliant in engagement and spot on for delivery and installation. He brilliantly answered all questions that I and the kids had. Highly recommend for any future works!

Fantastic service from Lea. Fast and efficient and a really nice company to deal with. Well done. Would recommend. 5*

From initial enquiry to completed installation in under a week. Excellent communication and excellent workmanship. Would highly recommend.

Lea was recommended and I can see why. It was around a week from my original enquiry to the installation of an EV charger, including a visit to measure up and discuss options. The electric meter is the opposite side of the house to the driveway and I wanted to avoid having the cable clipped to the brickwork. Lea was happy to get stuck in and nothing was too much trouble. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Friendly, tidy, reliable and works with you instead of dictating to you. Highly recommend.

Amazing work by Lea! - i was really impressed by the care and attention to detail on the install and aftercare. Thankyou very much. 👊

Lea is a Fantastic person and he did an outstanding job at a competitive price. I could not recommend Colchester EV Chargers any higher they are first class.

Fantastic service from start to finish from both Lea & Richard. Great plan for our Tesla Powerwall 3 & solar install. The NexBlue car charger was a nice addition to the project & gets our property future proofed. The guys were so friendly & knowledgeable about the right products for the job. Would definitely recommend to everyone & it’s great to support LOCAL business. Thanks from Karl & Anita

I can only wish all the interaction that I have with a service provider would be like the one I had with Lea and the team.No delays, clear communication, tidy workmanship. Fantastic.

Had hypervolt charger installed by Lea did a fantastic job. Long length of cabling, installed route just as I asked and really great job all round. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Colchester Ev Chargers.

Lea and Richard came and installed a new Zappi EV charger, new induction hob (including cutting out the work top) and new consumer unit. It was great to discuss with them what I had planned for the house so we could future proof anything they did. They have a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the technology which comes across as you quiz them. They drive EVs and have the solar and batteries themselves. Turned up on time. Left the area clean and tidy. Neat installation. Zappi commissioning was spot on first time and done in a few minutes. Super helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

Very pleased with Lea’s installation the Ohme EV Charger this week despite to the significant challenges with the Jan weather. Good value v the other quotes I had…..prompt, efficient & friendly service. Would definitely recommend Colchester EV Chargers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent service from Colchester EV Chargers. From start to finish everything was straightforward and professional. Lea was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a very neat job fitting the EV charger at my home. It was completed on time and works perfectly. Highly recommend Colchester EV Chargers to anyone looking for a reliable EV charger installation.

Excellent service, very friendly and was able to do everything we needed even when we asked for a extra part to be changed, very good service and would highly recommend

Awesome service. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Lea and cost effective. Thank you so much. A*

Friendly professional and reliable, what more can you ask for. I originally started looking at EV options through my service provider but It appeared you needed to order your chosen EV first then they survey and install. I needed advice as it was looking like my install may not have been standard due to the layout of our house and garage and parking which is not next to the house but at the end of the garden. I spoke with Lea at Colchester at EV who straight away put me at ease and popped round the following evening as promised. Gave free advice and assured me the charger could go in the garage as there was enough power there. So a standard install. The quote was not really anymore than what I was looking at with supplier and I was grateful for his advice. Install was completed within 2 weeks, on-time and as promised. Clean tidy and gave all the advice you would need and with the promise of any further support I might need. Looking at other reviews of supplier installs they are not positive and I don't believe you will have anywhere near the same service. You would not be disappointed with Lea's service.

Excellent service, great communication throughout All works neat and tidy. Would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Lea from Colchester EV Chargers highly enough. I was originally dreading the installation because my electric meter is on the opposite side of the house to the driveway. I was convinced I would need to dig expensive trenches or run unsightly cables across my front porch canopy. Before I even accepted the quote, Lea came for a physical survey and solved the problem instantly. He did a proper pre-install survey (checking sockets, MCB wiring and fuses thoroughly) and found a way to use an existing driveway socket instead - saving me massive effort and cost. On the installation day, he was a true professional. He fitted the Hypervolt charger, integrated it with Octopus, switched me to the 'Intelligent Go' tariff, and explained exactly how the smart slots work. A thorough professional who looks for the best solution for the customer, not just the most expensive one. He even fixed a couple of dead kitchen sockets while he was here! If you want an electrician and EV installer who is genuinely skilled, professional, honest, and helpful, look no further. Just call Lea.

Lea is great. Nothing is too much trouble. Clean and tidy worker, always on time, and standard of his work is top notch. Carried out multiple socket changes, light switches, light fittings and moved my EV charger. Would highly recommend

Very nice ev Charger Installation And a good price Exactly how I wanted it Lea was very Friendly and knowledgeable I would recommend all day long

Lovely people to deal with, very knowledgeable with regards to equipment etc, excellent post installation support too. Highly recommended.

Went to Colchester EV chargers as recommended by a friend. Good communication, transparent and competitive price, professional signed off electrical installation and very pleased with the look, performance and features of the Hypervolt charger. Would have no hesitation in recommending and would definitely use again if needed.

Great service....Efficient, timely & competitively priced. Very happy. Thank you 😊

Cannot recommend highly enough! So helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Everything explained thoroughly, constant updates on progress and every effort was made to give us the best service possible. Already making a list of more work we’d like completed by Lea due to the service he delivers! Fantastic! 5*!

Had Lea to install some cameras for an elderly relative and he was brilliant, fast efficient and friendly!

Lea is helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. My charger was installed quickly with minimal fuss.

From start to finish totally brilliant service . On initial contact and visit I was told exactly what could be done and how my Hypervolt charger would be fitted . My quote was in line with my expectations and the work was completed to a 5 star standard . Great communication throughout and I thoughtfully recommend them to all . My thanks to Lee and Tamara at the EV charger team for all there help and support to me a newby in the EV world . *****

Colchester EV Chargers installed an electric car charger at our business’s premises and it was such a smooth process from start to finish. Lea is very knowledgeable and took the time to talk us through everything & provide advice when he came out to us for a site visit. We then got our charger fitted the very next week. Couldn’t fault this company and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again!

Lea was very professional, he came on time, finished his work on time, showed me how to use the EV charger and charger app, I highly recommend them

Lea has been brilliant from start to finish, coming round the next day after me calling asking for a quote and explaining my new car was coming within the week. He sorted everything out and had it fitted in time, quality work and very neat. Lea was very helpful from start to finish. Would highly recommend him.

EV Chargers were phenomenal. This was my first electric car and when I contacted the company their quote was very reasonable. The service, installation and turnaround time was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone thinking of getting an electric charger installed at home. Also, they helped me set everything up on the app so I was good to go. Fantastically pleased.

No hesitation in recommending Colchester EV chargers. Great service from initial quote through to installation.

Nothing but praise, I had Lea come round to quote for a charger I wanted installed. I wanted things done in a particular way to suit my needs and wants, Lea completely took this on board and when it came time to fit the charger, he respected my house, managed to install everything I asked for in the way I asked it to be done. Great guy would definitely be my top choice.

Brilliant installer. Excellent communication, very friendly. They were able to organise the installation swiftly. Very professional installation, neat and tidy. Aftercare was also top notch with the team checking in after installation to ensure everything was working and in order. Overall extremely happy with the service provided, would highly recommend.

moved our EV charger with no problems at all, lovley friendly gent. They evan applied for a grant so we paied less for the job will 100% be using them again for any electrical jobs.

Lei and Richard are fantastic, very helpful at each and every step while installing solar panels at my place. Reliable nice guys. Thank you very much.

Great service from Lea. Works carried out neatly and efficiently. Would recommend.

Friendly prompt and efficient service! Lea of Colchester EV chargers was able very quickly to track down my solar panels not heating my water to a broken inverter, to identify and fix a cost effective new one and replace it in a very short timeframe. So grateful for all his help - and his patience when I completely fluffed setting up the app! Thanks so much, Lea! Lots of lovely free hot water coming up again now!

Fantastic from start to finish. Lea popped in for an initial assessment where we ran through all the charging options and decided on the best solution. This was swiftly followed up with a quote and an installation date, during which time Lea continued to answer all the questions I could throw at him. Arrived promptly on the day of installation, did a great job and left everything so clean and tidy that you wouldn't have known he was there. Would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone.

We had a myenergi warranty installer job & lea from colchester ev chargers turned up & sorted all the issues & it now works even better than before. Very friendly, very polite & we could tell he was into his job as he turned up in his electric van. Definitely recommend 👌

Excellent service and advise by the team. Instalation was carried out smoothly and effectively. Would recommend them to facilitate your EV needs.

Friendly service and did as promised

Lea has been great from start to finish. I said I needed a car charger installed as soon as possible and he messaged me when a earlier date had become available. Work extremely neat and tidy; looks fantastic. Very happy with the service and would recommend highly.

Lea came to my house to do the site survey on the next day I called him. And he installed the charger three days after. Compare to others who told me need to wait for weeks, this is amazing. Lea is very friendly and professional, answered all my questions and get the job done at high standard. Highly recommend

I couldn't be more impressed by the service by both Lea and Tamara at Colchester EV Chargers who swooped in to save the day after Octopus had let me down, which was great. It's just a shame I didn't go with them first! They were always very responsive, knowledgeable about their industry, competitive and friendly. Importantly for me, Lea's installation was perfect! Consideration was given to my preferred location, positioning, symmetry and cable tidiness! All in all, a faultless service. I would highly recommend them!

Made everything so simple and seamless. Really unreal service.

Had Lea fit our charger in Basildon. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout from start to finish. Charger looks and works fantastic. Would recommend!

Very helpful, even when charger installation was complete, answering all my questions and still answering my question lol (New to EV's and Clueless). Great service, would highly recommend.

We use Colchester EV as one of our primary solar installation partners here at Heatable. We require a trustworthy and high-quality installation to meet our high standards. The whole team from the office to the engineers are thorough and professional. We know when we pass them a job it will be dealt with to the highest standards.

I found Colchester EV when trying to find an installer in the local area, Lea replied quickly even though it was a weekend and I was impressed with the service and professionalism from the team. The installation was completed to a very high standard. Thank you! Updated review - I had an issue recently and reached out to Lea to see if he could check to see if the charger was faulty or if it was the car, as Lea has a electric van he could check this no problems! Quick service again to assist! Thanks Colchester EV!

Colchester EV Chargers is the best electric vehicle charger company in the UK, in my humble opinion at least. It's a family-owned business, and Lea is an exceptional person. He's always been quick to respond and incredibly honest. He installed my charger in just a few days, and I truly appreciate his hard work. I'm extremely satisfied with his service and highly recommend them. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I definitely would—Lea deserves more than 5 stars!

We used Colchester EV Chargers on recommendation from a friend who has recently used their services to have their EV charger fitted. We are not disappointed. Lea surveyed our property & promptly quoted for the work. His quote was comprehensively laid out with all the relevant details & costs. Refreshing as so many trades people just lump everything together without that detail so you often don't have the full picture of what you are paying for. Once the quote was accepted Lea acted promptly to fit us in with just a two week wait for installation. The installation went very smoothly. Lea is very obviously a professional & his work cannot be faulted. As an ex-trades person myself, I don't say that lightly. There was no drama, no flames or smoke!!!...coming from the under stairs cupboard where our distribution board is fitted. Just very neat fitting of an additional distribution box above our existing one with very neat cabling exiting out through our external wall to the EV charger thingy! Once installation was complete the setting up process was under taken by Lea with some assistance from Tamara in the office over the phone. It all went smoothly. I cannot recommend Colchester EV Chargers highly enough. Top marks in every area of their work & very polite & courteous into the bargain with a good sense of humour. Thank you Lea. PS. I'm not connected in anyway to Colchester EV Chargers other than as a new very happy customer.

I had my very nice Indra LUX installed today by Lee! He done an expert job, spoke me and my wife through the process and was very clean and tidy throughout the process. The charger is very stylish and just what we wanted. Thank you Lee and team, I couldn't suggest you more!

Had Lea install our Ohme e pod charger for us. He was so knowledgeable and gave great advice - other electricians had really complicated things to get extra money, or just didn’t seem aware of the regulations such as notifying the DNO. Lea dealt with all the paperwork, did a very neat job on the installation and also fit us in very short notice! After care has been amazing, checking in with us to ensure everything is ok, which it has been! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

The team did exactly what we asked for we started with the installation of a home EV charger which they quoted and installed we were so satisfied with how they dealt with this when we were considering solar panels and a battery system we asked for their advice and a quote after some extensive research we found that their advice was spot on on and asked them to proceed installation and support has been beyond what I expected would highly recommend can say no more

Great experience from start to finish. Easily arranged a quote, Lea came and gave a quick and easy assessment of the work and confirmed he could provide everything I wanted. Quote was sent over the same day with a clear breakdown of everything required and beat others that I had looked in to. Came out under a fortnight later. Was more than courteous of us whilst installing the charger, made sure it was all up and running and demonstrated how it all worked on my own car. Payment was as quoted and was simple to pay. Recommend to anyone looking for the best quote and for great no fuss service.

Installed a wired Ring Spotlight camera. Very happy with the job. Top company. 2nd time using them and happy to use them again!

We wanted to get a home charging point added to our property and found Colchester EV Chargers on Google. Both Lea and Tamara are extremely pleasant to deal with and what they don’t know about EV charging isn’t worth knowing. They gave us guidance on what charging point to go for and advice on upgrading our home fuse. Lea carried out the install and did a very neat job in a timely manner. The job was very reasonably priced too. Overall I’ve got no problem recommending this company to everyone in and around the Colchester area.

Very professional, arrived on time, very knowledgeable & very friendly. Would recommend 100%

Was a pleasure to have Lea in our home. He was really professional and did an amazing Job. He gave us a very competitive price which he actually reduced, on completion, as the job was less complex than he expected. He worked really cleanly and always tidied up after himself.i would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Extremely happy with the EV charger install from Lea. Great service from start to finish. Many thanks

Perfect installation

Nothing was too much for Lea, he was on hand for great advice and working around when it was best for us to do the install. Really pleased with the Price, billing, communication, standard of work and all round help from Colchester EV Chargers.

Brilliant service for Hypervolt EV charging point installation. Lea and Tamara have been very helpful and the installation looks great!

Really good helpful service before installation and great on the day. Pleased with the overall experience.

No an easy install but that was no problem for Lea and James. Costs were good in line with what I’d anticipated. Made it look easy very neat and tidy hid the cabling really well. The Ohme charger was up and running in no time and connected easily and quickly with the Tesla which wasn’t as easy with my previous Hyper volt unit,Lea explained everything which was great. Overall very happy with the job would use again

Top marks all round. Our first site visit was only a couple of days after making our enquiry. Installation was only a couple of weeks after that. Lea worked out how and where to install the charger to be the most convenient for us. The installation was well thought out and done very neatly. We had a problem with reconnecting our inverter for the solar battery as a result of the power needing to be cut, but Lea came round the next day and stayed until the problem was fixed. We had a second issue with the charger not charging fully and once again Lea had that fixed for us by the next day. So all in all I highly recommend this company for their friendly and efficient service from start to finish.

We are an automotive repair garage so wanted a charger for ev repair/diagnostic purposes, customer charging and for our new EV van. Lea gave me great amount of information and advise, helping us get what we needed. The service was second to none. As a busy garage we were concerned about the install interrupting the daily business But these guys were able to carry out some of the installed after hours. Cant recommend Colchester EV charges more!

Very happy with my new EV charger installation. The quote was very competitive and the job cost exactly what they said it would. The team was very knowledgeable, helping me make an informed decision about a charger that would suit my needs. They turned up on time and were very helpful and professional, even tidied up an additional network run that I ran ontop from the shed. Would highly recommend.

I've had a fantastic experience with this company. After my initial enquiry Tamara visited and did a site visit. That evening I received my quote and she helped my to choose the right charger for me. Lea arrived to fit my Hypervolt and he was professional in his work and the installation was impeccable. Lea took the time to help me with any questions I had about using the app as I'm new to the electric car world. Thank you both again for your superb service.

Fantastic professional and friendly service from Colchester EV chargers. I would definitely recommend them.

Lea did a great job, the charger was really neatly installed and he gave me great advice on what charger to get and where to install it. He turned up on time and installed it with no fuss.

Cant recommend enough. Communication was fantastic from start to finish replying to emails quickly, arriving for site survey on time and then booking in for the install soon after. You can tell straight away that Lea has a real passion for what he does and this reflects in his work. My install was so clean and tidy with Lea and Richard having a real eye for attention to detail which i really appreciated as the install was on the front of house. Everything was tested and tidied away with my certificates arriving a few days later. Invoice received was exactly what i had been quoted. As i say highly recommend and couldn't do anymore in my opinion. Thanks team.

Very professional and friendly service from Lea and his team . I’m very pleased with the work they did .

Im so great full to Lea for coming over out of of hours to wire in my hob. Fantastic guy defo recommended.

Brilliant service and installation, was very nervous about getting a charger and an electric car. Lea reassured me and ran through everything. His knowledge was 2nd to none. The installation was amazing and was done with care and he treated it as if it was at his home, making sure I was happy with the smallest detail throughout the install. The charger is easy to use and Lea helped me download App for my first use. Couldn’t recommend them enough, plus my mum loved him and she doesn’t like just anyone.

Lea replaced my zappi today very quickly , set it all ready to go , arrived when agreed on-time , very friendly , would recommend 😊

The work is always very neat & tidy & Lea will go the extra mile to make sure the installation is as neat & unobtrusive as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lea & the team at Colchester EV Chargers.

Lea and Richard fitted a 10kWh Libbi battery in my garage today. They put a lot of thought into the job and produced a very neat installation as shown in the photo. Good quality work and very tidy workers. I am very pleased with the end result. I thoroughly recommend them.

Very friendly, excellent communication and the work was done as promised with the house and garden left nice and tidy. Also Lea has said he is happy to come back & go through setting up my car with the charger once I have my car back! Would recommend!

So very impressed with Colchester EV chargers, I was looking to get a charger installed ASAP and Lea and Tamara were able to help out and still at a very competitive price, even working on a bank holiday to accommodate. Thank you so much ! 10/10, highly recommend!

So happy with the service from start to finish. I was unsure about location of my charger, and changed my mind just before, but Lea was brilliant, flexible and great at problem solving any issue that came up. Good communication throughout, Lea and Levi fitted for several hours in the rain and took real care to hide as much of the cabling as they could so the end result was excellent. They stayed until all was up and working…great from start to finish.

Great service from start to finish with my new Zappi, Lea and Levi did a good job very tidy and nothing too much trouble. Tamara was excellent as answered all my questions and more, Can’t rate the guys highly enough. 👍🏻

Friendly team, arrived on time and did a great job installing my wall box. Highly recommended, thank you.

Highly recommended, quick and effective install. Thanks again!

Highly recommend Lea and his team. The site survey provided good, easy to understand advice on location and types of charger. The installation was carried out shortly after and very happy with a neat and tidy installation which was competitive too.

Many Thanks Grant

Have used Lea for years, cannot recommend him highly enough. Work is always fantastic and is a pleasure to have around. I have recently had the Ohme Pod fitted and it works like a dream.

What a lovely company. Firstly the guy coming out to quote for the job, put as ease as we have an old fashioned wiring system on the house and confirmed it could be done. The lady on phone and doing the quote was nice friendly making the whole process so easy. And the youngman that came and do the install was fantastic, his made a really tidy job of the install, cleaned up any mess he made as he went. Gave me a full demonstration of how the charger works and overall was extremely polite. You couldn’t ask for a nicer company to do the job, pricing was great and so is the quality of work and charger.

The team were fantastic & kept me informed all the way throughout the process & the aftercare including setting up all the octopus tariffs was excellent I would definitely recommend this company for all renewable energy services,.

Perfect installation from the guys, well informed advice and prompt turnaround. Would definitely recommend.

Colchester EV Chargers have provided a wonderful Service. After installing a Myenergi Zappi EV charger, they returned for phase 2, to install the Myenergi Eddi and Libbi, which have linked up to our original12 year old solar panels. The system is up and running brilliantly. Lea, Richard, and Tamara are so knowledgeable and professional in the way they work and a pleasure to have around. We thoroughly recommend them. Thank you!

Lea has done a few electrical jobs around the house and the work was to a very high level and he was very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Lea and Tamara were fantastic and service was superb throughout. I had an issue with the unit (no fault of Lea or the installation!), and they dealt directly with the manufacturer for me and came to replace unit quickly and seamlessly. Sometimes the proof of how good a company is, is when things go wrong and how they make them right. In this case, it was a perfect outcome. Support local! Thanks a mil.

Excellent service, prompt, attention to detail, clean & polite, highly recommendable local service-mjc

Cannot recommend highly enough. Quick, responsive, personable & friendly. Excellent communications. Very respectful of home. Quality, tidy workmanship. Great range of products, competitively priced. And customer service beyond compare - treated like a friend, helpful advice and follow. Love the Simpson & Partners unit - very classy. PS. Also brilliant with dogs - we have 4, who I think may now want to visit Lea and Tamara.

A Fast, efficient and friendly service by Colchester EV Chargers. Delighted with the Ohme Home Pro 7kW EV charger with 8m tethered lead. Really appreciated Lea and the team with all their efforts, great communication throughout the ordering process, and also taking the time to explain the features and benefits of the Ohme App. Would highly recommend...Thank you!

New EV chargpoint installed in carport without issue; neat and professional installation. Lea was friendly and efficient 👍

Fantastic service from the point of enquiry through to installation and aftercare. Tamara took a keen interest in the best possible equipment for my install, which includes solar and home battery. Installation is some of the neatest I've seen, Levi even took the time to re-cement the cable hole made through my garage wall before hoovering up! I opted not to install the plug holster which is why the cable is wrapped in the photo. I'll certainly use this company for all electrical work in the future.

Great job, very happy with the charger and it looks great. They were very friendly and took the time to talk me through everything and they left everything very clean and tidy. Lovely people to deal with. Thanks Lea and team.

A very quick response to my inquiry, a site survey quickly arranged & advice given on best EV charger & configuration for my circumstances. That was followed by a clear quotation & Colchester EV chargers were able to come in that week to complete the work. The new dust box, cabling & Ohme ePod were installed neatly, tested & handed over for me to try. All good! Very pleased with the whole experience & install.

I don't actually know where to start. Lea came round and was very knowledgeable about the various EV charging options open to us. We have a particularly awkward PV and battery installed in our home, The guys organised the various systems integrating together. They recommended the Zappi as it's 100% Octopus compatible and Left us with a price. Several days later installation day, Levi and Lea did a cracking good job, neat and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. Several days later my awkward PV system decided to have a spasm due to UKPN attempting to change the main fuse on the house. I called Lea at 8.30pm and bless him he came round to help us out. Have recommended Lea and Levi in particular to both my Daughter for home electrics and my parent, who is a developer. Can't recommend highly enough.

Amazing service from start to finish, turned up on time, work was carried out to the highest standard with no mess left at all. Would 100% recommend for any EV installs

I contacted Colchester EV Chargers when we encountered several delays with our instal. Lea, Tamara and Levi were a dream to deal with. Helpful and informative without being pushy, helped navigate the Ozev Grant scheme and provided a competitive price and an excellent, neat and timely instal job. Would 100% recommend.

Lea and Levi were absolutely brilliant! Very efficient, helpful and friendly! Have already recommended to family and friends. They were available at short notice which was really handy! They also cleaned up as they went! The process of getting a quote to getting our home car charger installed was easy and hassle free. Highly recommend :)

Lee and the team were brilliant! They installed my EV charger quickly and neatly and they were extremely helpful providing tips and electricity tariff advice. I would highly recommend Colchester EV Chargers if you’re looking to have an EV charger installed.

I am beyond impressed with the exceptional service provided by Colchester EV Chargers, by Richard and Lea. Facing an urgent need for a charge point installation, they accommodated my request on short notice, even braving the cold and rainy weather on the day of installation. I cannot recommend Colchester EV Chargers enough for their prompt, reliable, and client-focused service. Richard and Lea's commitment to excellence sets them apart, making the entire experience a 5-star one. Thank you for your exceptional service!

Absolutely brilliant. We were originally with podpoint but they couldn't organise a drinks party in a pub (or something like that). Lea was the first to come and give us a quote. (Podpoint wouldn't even visit). He is professional, friendly and courteous. He immediately made perfect suggestions and within 20mins had agreed with what we originally thought would work (and which podpoint couldn't possibly do). We did get 3 other quotes but all were more expensive for the same job. Tamara was great with contact over emails and the job was then completed easily, quickly and efficiently by Lea and Levi. Would highly highly highly recommend! Thanks so much Lea, Levi and Tamara.

Brilliant service Thanks

Highly recommend Lea, Tamara and Colchester EV Chargers - great service from start to finish, very tidy job, nice lads and easy to pay on completion - if you are looking for a home EV Charger get in touch

I Couldn’t be happier. They installed new sockets in upstairs rooms and didn’t affect any walls. No idea how they done it tbh. Also My wife is very clean OCD and these guys left the house spotless after we had the work done. They put down mats in the he hallway and up the stairs too. I Would definitely use again and thoroughly recommend. Would give more stars if I could!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly and professional service.

Great guy ,very prompt service ,Lee is a very good electrician

Levi did a consumer unit install for us today. He was so conscientious, neat & tidy - we were really impressed with the standard of his work. Would highly recommend Colchester EV to friends & family. Great company & service!

Quick, clean and professional service. I would definitely recommend Colchester EV chargers. 1st class service.

What a great business! We love keeping our money local and found Colchester EV chargers on Google. Dropped them a line with our requirements and Lea popped over for a look, a competitive quote was received and the installation date fixed. Lea and Levi attended on the day (although think Levi did the bulk of the work 😉) they did a great job, everything neat and tidy. All working really well, thanks guys! Great backup from Tamara in the office too, highly recommend!

Carlsberg don't do Ev fitters but if they did it would be this company Lea and he's mate (stepson) Levi done an awesome job fitting my Ev home charger....Lea gave me all the advice I needed to pick the right charger for me. One with the lowest tariff at night so I can get the money I paid out for the Ev back as quick as possible😁..professional and hard working they had me done in just over half-day. And my Ohme charger is amazing I love it....don't look anywhere else for fitters these are your guys and local too.....it's a 10/10 from me thanks again Lea and Levi

Very impressed! We were very lucky to have the team out the same day we reported a problem. Engineer was able to find and fix the problem within minutes! Now up and running! VERY highly recommended!!!! Thanks guys!

From quotation stage to the job being completed, the service from Colchester EV Chargers has been excellent. Cannot fault the installation or the installer and they were able to meet our requirements in respect of lead times. Would most certainly recommend the company and should the need arise use them again.

Very happy with Lea installation. Will definitely recommend him

Lea was great. Sorted out our solar installation that had been giving uz problems.

EDITED (can't leave a new review after more work done!) FIRST REVIEW(2022): EV charge point installed by Lea Arnold's team. From arranging the install (which I must add they were very understanding when I changed my mind on which system to have installed!), to the communication up to the install was excellent. The installers arrived exactly on time, were courteous and got on with the job with no fuss, even discussing a slight amendment to the install to provide a neater job!). After just a couple of hours the install was done. A very neat job. Excellent service and I can highly recommend this company. SECOND REVIEW (August 2023): Lea and Richard installed my Libbi battery system a week or so back. Their professionalism, skill and workmanship is outstanding. It was obvious that they take pride in their work, and the attention to detail is a breath of fresh air. In a world of tradespeople that often really don't care about what they do and the end result, they stand out with an attitude of perfectionism. Having had another company (what a mistake!) install my PV array and Hybrid inverter I was left with a slap-dash install that looked untidy and amateur. Not only did they install the new system (with its associated Inverter) but they took down the dreadful mess I had been left with, restored the brickwork, redid the wiring routing and trunking and produced an amazingly tidy and professional result. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys!

Great service, Levi was really helpful and knowledgeable!

Very happy with the service provided and would recommend. Lea and Tamara were helpful and informative at every step of the way.

Excellent service Will definitely recommend

Professional, friendly service, competitively priced. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.

Very happy friendly service

Very good service

Top chap. Very responsive to initial enquiry and cheapest quote I had!

Excellent service very knowledgeable and friendly and a good tidy job installing the new charger 👍

Amazing service I got from Colchester EV charger Highly recommended 👌

Used for installation of ring door bell. So friendly and professional. Very pleased with work and so impressed with after care to check that all ok. Would definitely recommend.

Superb and quick service from Lea Arnold of Colchester EV Chargers. I was given great advice and further support if needed. What more could you ask for. Highly recommended this company. Many thanks.

I cannot recommend these guys enough from first contact to final installation in less than seven days and at a great price. And the installation itself is incredibly neat. Well done all.

Excellent service. Very professional. Lee’s excellent idea for cable passing through the brick wall and not through the garage door. The cable is not exposed. Brilliant idea. Nice friendly team. After work mess was cleared up professionally. Sure recommend to any one to use EV Colchester for any electrical work.

Leah & Levi were spot on! Competitively priced installation and fitting the following week. Would really recommend Colchester EV Chargers

Very happy with the work. Lea was very professional and knowledgeable. I would gladly recommend his services.

Great service all round. Very professional. No hesitation to recommend. Even after installation, contacted me to check in that all is okay. True customer service.

We originally had already started the ball rolling with regards to an EV charger install with podpoint after being recommended them by a car dealer. However we quickly realised they were pretty awful, we read their online reviews and realised we had made a mistake. We cancelled our order with them after speaking to their terrible robots and online chats for ages! So instead we called Lea and spoke to a human! Yay! We told him what we needed and he talked us through our options, he also understood we were running tight for time and needed the install ASAP. We sent him over all the photos needed for him to generate a very quick and reasonable quote. Which we happily accepted, fast forward a week and Levi was out to install our Ohme charger. He was lovely, very friendly, polite and informative. He fitted the charger in no time at all, although he fitted in to the front of the house you wouldn't have even had known his was there working away in the rain poor lad! When he was done we hooked up the car together he explained the app and showed me what he had done. There was no mess at all, just a shiny new charger beautifully fitted and charging away the new car. I would highly recommend, Lea, Levi and Tamara to anyone needing an EV charger. The service from start to finish has been spot on! Thanks everyone! :)

I have had a new EV charging point installed and Lea and his team were great. From getting the quotation to arranging the installation date. Workmanship was spot on. It was so good I asked him to some additional electric work which again was carried out to the highest standard.

Colchester EV chargers made it easy. With a professional service, they live and breathe EV charging and are passionate about bringing the latest technology to my home. Install was perfect and everything worked flawlessly, I was immediately able to connect the software to my electricity provider and start charging at very cheap off peak rates.

Great, fast and affordable service.

Tamara and Lea were friendly, efficient and very professional. Their advice and direction helped me choose the optimum charger for my current requirements. Installation was completed with no disruption and to a very high standard. I would thoroughly recommend Colchester EV Chargers to anyone requiring an EV charging point. Sustainability in action! Tony Ellis Charted Environmentalist

Lea was recommended to me having completed a job for a colleague of mine. He contacted me by phone, followed up with some administration by email and promptly completed the job within a week….the actual day being Good Friday ! The installation was equally as efficient and the recommended charger and box work and look brilliant. Thank you Lea.

Great from start to full installation. Good communication and very tidy job. Nice to have firms who just did that bit extra to make it really good. Thankyou

I am very satisfied with the Ohme EV charger installation which this local Colchester company did for me. Great result. Very neat and tidy and I got a hand with the app download and set up. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Best service.Professional throughout the whole process. Thank you.

Great service from Lea and the team. Offered me various options to suit my needs and a quick turnaround time for quoting and installation. For the installation itself, everything was done and dusted in half a day and I couldn't be happier.

Professional and friendly service from Lea Installation the team. Polite and knowledgeable, with a superb lead time from when placing the order to installation. Great experience.

Great service

I found Colchester EV on a Google search as I was looking for a home installation. Lea was extremely prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He came out and inspected as it was not straight forward and came up with a solution that the cable was hidden in our house and the charger fitted perfectly on the garage. The 2 guys with him were polite, friendly, clean and tidy and even washed their cups up! They took time to explain everything and helped with any problems as too did Tamara in the office. You will have complete peace of mind if you choose Colchester EV Chargers.

Prompt and very reasonably priced response to request for domestic wiring jpb

Could not rate Colchester EV Chargers enough! Great workmanship, clean, tidy and professional throughout the whole process! Many thanks again! Edit: Just to add they also support Apple Pay which made paying super quick and simple.

Many thanks! Very friendly and professional service. Efficient and clean, tidy job. Very pleased.

Second time I’ve had Colchester EV chargers Install a charger for me. Really pleasant guys who get the job done. Really neat job. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent company. Lea and his team have carried out all of our electric lighting spot lights, external lighting, plugs, sockets etc. thoroughly nice people to deal with and nothing is a problem. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lea and his company. Very reliable and honest business. Selby, Suffolk

Could not have asked for a better service . Two really polite guys in Levi and Dan . All work was carried out in a very professional manor and took time to explain everything even going through the app with me . Levi and Dan are a credit to the company and I will certainly be recommending to anyone who wants an EV charger

Absolutely fantastic service. The guys who came were professional, knew their craft well, polite, helpful. Everything you want in terms of customer service. I highly recommend using Colchester EV chargers. Smooth from start to finish, tidy job. I'd give six stars if I could!

Brilliant service and lovely people who understand your requirements and provide bespoke services with complete dedication and honesty.

Truly fantastic, professional, knowledgeable, friendly I could go on the with the praise they have earned, My installers Levi and Dan were excellent and without a doubt this is one of the best companies I have ever used and I would recommend them to anyone without even a moment of hesitation. Thank you.

Great service, great communication from first enquiry to install, polite and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Lea spent all day Friday diligently cabling up a Givenergy AC Inverter and 9.5kWh battery. Attached is a photograph showing how neat the install turned out. It would have been neater but I wanted the Emergency Power Supply feature enabled. This allows me to power the Red Socket in the case of a power supply failure. I can charge up the battery either from Solar or at this time of the year from the grid using a 4 hour window at a reduced tariff Really pleased with the quality of the install, and even happier when the system which knows the tariffs rates informed me that my electricity cost me an average of 8p yesterday so given my peak rate is 35p is pretty good going.

Excellent service from Lea and team. Very efficient and gave some very useful information and advice. Clean install and always happy to accommodate my requests. We will be using them again for our other electrical requirements. Well done guys, keep up the good work!

A very professional job carried out by a pleasant and competent engineer, at the end of the job he made sure his work area was thoroughly cleaned and all rubbish and old parts etc removed. Leaving a very happy customer. Mick Schoolar

Work carried out efficiently in a structured & tidy manner. System explained with a professional & friendly attitude. Would have no problem in recommending.

I can’t thank the team at Colchester EV charges enough. From initial enquiry to installation of my home charger, they’ve been faultless. I initially reached out to Lea at EV Chargers asking for a site survey/quote, and despite my enquiry being on a weekend Lea responded promptly, he was friendly and professional from his first message. Lea was consious he had a course the following week and did not want to keep me from receiving a quote so offered to visit us on a Sunday, which was greatly appreciated by us. During the visit he gave us some really good, solid advice and the quote arrived the next day, on time as promised. On the day of installation Lea’s team arrived on time and couldn’t have been more friendly. During the install the team encountered some existing electrical issues, left over from a recent outbuilding conversion, which happened to be the building we wanted the charger connected to, they demonstrated those issues and swiftly went about rectifying them in order to protect us, our new charger and our new car. The result, a beautiful looking EV Charger, that does all we need and more! I wish Lea and his team the very best in business as EV popularity grows! If you’re looking for a professional, friendly and knowledgable specialist, contact Colchester EV chargers, I recomend them without reservation.

They are friendly , prompt and gives enough space to make your decision. Highly recommend them to anyone who wants to use their services. Seamless experience and look forward to use for other renewable energy service

Lee was so friendly and efficient. Excellent customer service. Good value. I will definitely go back to the same company when I need an electrician.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Lea assessed our Hypervolt install and despite it needing work out of the norm, worked out the best solution, which many other companies would not entertain. Both Lea and Dan undertook the job with ease, leaving with no sign of them being there. Very friendly, professional and a joy to deal with. Efficient communication and advice. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly and professional service. Site was left clean and tidy after installation was completed. Highly recommended.

Prompt, friendly and efficient service. Recommended 👍

Quick and tidy work and really friendly guys, was really happy with the charger.

Great. Very professional and friendly people. Team arrived on time and done job within 3h ( ev charger ) Highly recommended

Great experience. Lea and the Colchester EV Chargers team were excellent and very professional throughout. They went out of their way to make this a clean and tidy install - they could have made their lives easier by not working hard to hide wires but, instead, they offered good advice and delivered a great solution. Very impressed and will work with them again.

Excellent service from the first phone call through to installation date, clear invoicing, prompt responses, detailed information upon installation, friendly, knowledgeable, clean and tidy work! I can thoroughly recommend Colchester EV Chargers 100%! They even pretended to enjoy the cuppa I made them...

I contacted Ev chargers after speaking to a lot of companies and I must say Lea was the most helpful and knowledgeable person I spoke to . He was only to willing to come out a do a free survey and go through our options. A lot of big national companies only wanted to do a survey over the phone and some even wanted payment up front for the installation before they come out . Once Lea had done the survey and explained everything and what charger was best for use we agreed a very competitive price and it was installed a week later . The work was to the highest standard and I was very pleased to see that no mess was left behind all areas had been cleaned .lea has also offered to come back and go through any questions I have he also helped set up the app on my phone . It’s a pleasure doing business with such a professional and knowledgeable company. I can’t rate Ev chargers enough. Thank you

Following my old home charger failing, the team quickly arranged instalation of a new Easee One charger. The job was completed quickly, neatly and at an affordable price. Really impressed with the service received. The installer was polite and friendly and respectful of property. Top notch!

Lea and Richard from Colchester EV Chargers - EV Charger Installers did a fantastic job today to complete our Zappi and Eddi installation and commissioning. We now have our new Solar installation producing EV charging and Immersion heating power. We couldn't be more pleased with these guys technical knowledge and their professional installation of the equipment. I would have no hesitatation in recommending Colchester EV Chargers - EV Charger Installers.

The service I was given today was exceptional for the installation of a Ev car charge point. The work was carried out to a high standard and even though my fuse board is in the middle of the house which can be a nightmare to run the cable to outside of the house, he managed to hide all internal wires which I was so grateful for as I didn’t want any visible! He was very informative and had shown me how it all works and helped set it up on my phone. He cleaned up all the mess after too! Would highly recommend!

Tremendous service. Very competitive quote, installation carried out to a very high standard, courteous and professional in all respects - highly recommended

I can't praise lea and his hard working team especially Dan, his depth of knowledge and know-how was seconded to none, a job well done. I would highly recommend Colchester EV 10 out 10 👌👍👏😀

Met Lea and Dan today for first time when they fitted a home charger for our hybrid. Friendly, helpful and incredibly professional from start to finish. We are delighted with the quality of the work and would not hesitate to use them again anytime, we will definitely be recommending them to family and friends. Thank you again Lea and Dan.

Excellent service from start to finish. Friendly and polite. Would absolutely recommend. Very pleased all round so thank you for making it such a pleasant experience.

Colchester EV Chargers have been outstanding from start to finish in supplying and installing the new EV charger we required. Lea really is a one stop shop, straight talking, very knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. Highly recommend their services.

From my initial enquiry to fitting of my hypervolt unit Lea and his team have been first class. On the day of fitting Lea and his two young fitters were a pleasure to have at the house working there and explained the app and unit well. Thanks again guys :)

Lea was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. I required a specific colour and Lea did his best to get this colour in and schedule a last minute appointment for me to ensure I benefited from the government grant. This was a big help to a new mum on maternity leave. Lea was extremely polite and chatty, we had an all round fantastic experience! Thanks Lea!

Had my charger installed today. The team arrived on time, were polite, fast and clean. They were very accommodating as I wanted minimal cables visible and everything tidy. Great customer service is rare these days, these lads know how to deliver it. Very happy and equally happy to recommend Colchester EV Chargers.
