Northern Tec Ltd

Good , efficient, friendly installer. Recommended

I contacted Northern Tec Ltd on Monday, I had a quote to remove my 5 year old Wallbox EV charger that was playing up and replace it with a new Sync Energy one. I had a written quote within minutes. I agreed the quote and the work was completed today (Friday) the lads that came to do the work were very friendly and knowledgeable and tidy. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again for any electrical work.

Great service. We needed an urgent electrical safety inspection and certification to complete on a house sale. Jack and his team were incredible. They really worked hard to accommodate us and completed the job really promptly and to a high standard. Can’t recommend them enough. Thanks!

Northern Tec installed a Hypervolt EV charger for us. Excellent communication, careful installation, good price, and able to come and install within ten days. Excellent. Good to use a localcompany, too.

Highly recommended for the timely and professional installation of our EV charger. Alex gave us all the advice we needed, where to site the charger and track the cabling. The electricians did a fantastic job, making a special effort to conceal the cabling in our front garden, passing it under the paving, through three brick walls to the other side of the garage. Very pleased with the results.

Alex and his team were excellent from start to finish. The initial home visit, quote, appointment date for the installation and the installation of the ev charger. 10/10. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. David and Suzan Potts. Bispham.

Northern Tec Ltd recently fitted an EV charger for me and I would highly recommend them! Director Alex came to give me a quote when he said he would, answered all my questions and I was booked in within a week. He was easy and pleasant to deal with in person and via email, text and phone. The young lads who came to do the fitting were exactly on time and worked very efficiently, leaving no mess. They too were lovely, polite and very helpful with answering questions, setting up the app and explaining how it all worked as I am new to an EV. They even worked around a work appointment I had. Fabulous service from fantastic people - can't fault them!

Prompt turnaround, friendly install team and a tidy job. Exactly what I wanted, thank you.

Installation of Solar system, work was professionally completed, workforce worked tidily and were approachable. Overall a pain free experience would definitely use the company in the future for other work. A good local company.

Excellent customer service. All the staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. EV charger installation was done quickly and the electricians were very neat and tidy. I can highly recommend this company and will definitely go back to them for more electrical work.

Went into this blind as I had no idea about electric cars or charging points till now. Left a review because the service was perfect from initial enquiry to installation. All done within a week and to suit my needs. Installation was quick, efficient and no mess left. Everyone involved was professional and went above and beyond. Chuffed to bits and would recommend to anyone. Cheers Alex & Team

Hi we have property in Blackpool, we dont live in Blackpool, Northern Tec is best electration in the area. In past we use so many electration, job been never done properly and they charge too much. Surriya Khan

I have owned and driven an electric car for the last 2 years and charged at home with a manufacturers 3 pin plug charger or used expensive public charging. I decided it was time to install a home wall charger but most companies are very vague at explaining the process and the safety requirements. The Northern Tec website makes it all so clear and easy, even quoting on the site the charges involved . This gave me confidence that they knew what they were talking about and I could have an installation professionally installed at a competitive price. My installation was challenging due to the siting of my electricity supply but Chris the electrician completed the installation within 3 hours to a high standard, cleaned up and replaced carpets and furniture before giving me a clear explanation of how things worked. I can thoroughly recommend Northern Tec for the installation of your EV home charger.

Great service, reviwed job, quoted, competitive price,I booked job in,technician Chris has excellent, did great job and explained everything re charger, very professional, would definitely recommend

Great service! Surveyed my property to install and EV Charger, sent me a very competitive quote same day. Charger installed within one week of survey. Chris the installer was friendly, helpful and did a very tidy install, showed my how to set up the app and checked my car was charging. Brilliant and that was the morning after the England v Mexico late night finish :-) I'm happy to highly recommend Northern Tec Ltd.

Fabulous company 👌 highly recommend

Job completed as per quote and as agreed. Marshall a very pleasent competent electrician. Just waiting for the test certification

Excellent service from Northern Tech. The team were professional, friendly, and efficient throughout. They carried out a same-day survey and had my EV charger installed within just a few weeks. The installation was completed to a very high standard, with all cabling neatly concealed, leaving a tidy finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering an EV charger installation.

Outside Garden lights added all ready for Summer. Thankyou so Much to Jamie and Miles from Northern Tec. Really helpful young men who I would definitely recommend. Polite, tidy and very helpful setting everything up for this very untechy couple. We had a list of other jobs around the house as well and nothing was to much troubles

Great service and came when they said they would. Instalation of our EV charger was quick and they did a great job. Would recommend them to anyone for their quick and reliable service.

I contacted Northern Tec Ltd for a EV charger quote. They came around the next day conducted a survey and quoted me a good price for a complete installation of a tethered EV charger. Jamie & Miles turned up on time to start the work. They were courteous throughout and did a fantastic job. The cabling was neat and tidy, and hidden very well on the outside of the house. The work was completed in far less time than the time quoted so very pleased with that. The whole process went well from start to finish with a high standard of workmanship. Very credit to the managers and staff at Northern Tec, would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Have used these guys for multiple jobs over the years and they impress me everytime. Highly recommend ⚡️

I recently contacted the team at, Northern Tec Ltd & on numerous occasions over the years, when I have required advice, quotes and electrical work to be carried out. They always respond promptly and are more than happy to provide options to help an individual customer out with a problem. Prices quoted are reasonable and turn around of any issues we have experienced have been rectified quickly, by their friendly team.

Alex and the team completed 2 EV installations across 2 sites. Very professional, efficient and competitively priced. Works completed to a high standard with great ongoing support. I will certainly use them again.

I can highly recommend this company. Installation of the EV charger was undertaken by Jamie, a very neat and tidy worker. Alex was also helpful in helping me sort out a further query.

Great service, was able to book someone to come fix our problems quickly.

Amazing service . Had an issue and Jack was dealing with this at 10 pm . Go above and beyond . Thank you

We recently had NT round to our home for a full rewire. Jack and the team were very professional from the start. They managed to get the job done in a timely fashion and were very helpful with any questions we had. I couldn't reccomend them more.

Jack popped round to assess suitability of house for EV charger and answered all my questions that I could think of given it’s a new thing to me! The EV charger was fitted by Christian within a week! Highly recommend though bear in mind there’s very little assistance with any issues after purchase.

Fantastic service! Thank you so much. New smoke detectors fitted- quote provided same day and fitting agreed. The 2 guys who came arrived in the allocated time slot and were so polite, working cleanly and took away their rubbish. They knew we were having electrics sorted this week too and said they looked forward to coming back. Quick easy and a pleasure to have in the house.

Great service from Northern Tec Ltd,Professional and reliable service highly recommended

They came early next morning after a call later in the day. Really professional sorted my issue out quickly and efficiently

I recently had Northern Tech Ltd install electrics into my garage, including plug sockets and spotlights, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The job was carried out quickly and to a very high standard. The team were friendly, polite, and professional from start to finish, making the whole process stress-free. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Great service good communication and turned up on time friendly and would definitely recommend

Great service! Initial visit to quote for an electric vehicle charger within a day or so of me contacting them. Quote provided same day and booked in within a week. Jack kept in touch throughout with updates on the delivery of the charger and when this would be installed in case of any delay. Installation was seamless and it was all left clean and tidy. All the team are professional and friendly and I would highly recommend.

Excellent service throughout. Quoted for the job, install EV charger, which wasn't straightforward as I wanted it inside the garage so cables needed to be run underground. Id had a few other quotes from firms but they all tried to persuade me to just fit the charger on the outside of the house. Not what I wanted. The Northern Tech lads listened to what I wanted and found a solution.. Really quick and professional service would highly recommend.

Was so impressed. I had an emergency outage and despite being abroad on holiday the owner of the company arranged for two amazing men to come round and sort the issue out. Cannot recommend highly enough

Apart from a small bit of confusion around arrival time the team were great, good communication and the install of my EV charger went mostly smooth. There was a slight issue with the charger but that was down to the configuration of the charger itself but to be fair to the folks at NT they stayed probably longer than they should have to try and assist and was willing to help as much as possible. Would happily recommend them to others. Thanks Jack and the team.

Great service, happy with the work… Good price and top set of lads

These lads did a top job for me. Very professional,,,,,I could tell they knew their job,,,and they were really good customer service providers. I left my house keys with them and trusted them completely. I'm pretty fussy and know a good tradesman from a bad tradesman. Coppers nose lol. These guys are good. Good at their job, individually good with nice personalities and qualities, and good at tidying up and leaving me satisfied and confirming that what I paid for has been delivered.

Jacks team have been to my property twice in the past 4 months. Both times a great job has been done by hardworking lads. The job proved to be quite time consuming but they got it done with a great finish. Couldn’t recommend them more if you want electrical work doing professionally!

Alex and his team have never let me down. He has sorted a number of jobs for me over the last few years. Yesterday I asked if he could mend/replace an electric shower that had stopped working. He managed to get two of his team to assess and replace the shower between bigger jobs today. What a star. Great communication and a quick response. Thank you once again.

Northern Tec came recommended to me from a good friend who Jack had previously rewired her house. We needed a full rewire and quite soon. Jack came round and got back to us with a quote straight away, whereas other companies had taken a while. We were really pleased with the work carried out and found everyone in the team lovely and professional, going through everything and making sure we were happy. Even just finishing off a small job this week for us, the lads came and asked me to use the hoover to get rid of the dust for us, which I wouldn’t even expect a tradesperson to do! but we found them incredibly polite and considerate! I would highly recommend Northern Tec to anyone. Thank you so much! 🙂
