Home Energy Innovation is described as skilled and knowledgeable across a range of home energy work, including heat pumps, solar panels and batteries. Two reviewers mention that their bills or running costs fell. Several customers say the team explained the systems clearly and carried out installations neatly and to a high standard. Will, Alicia and Lizzie are mentioned by name in multiple reviews. One reviewer describes a gas boiler being turned off after an iBoost was fitted.
Home Energy Innovation provided a superb service. From a comprehensive energy survey to the final installation, they were professional and efficient. With the huge number of cowboy installers on the market, its very important to contract a fully professional team. They have the knowledge and the skills to install an energy system that is needed by the customer, rather than needed by a pushy third party call centre salesforce. If you are considering a home energy system, its important you start with Home Energy Innovation. They can install, solar, battery and air source heat pumps but they can also advise if you wish another installer. This company is exactly what the market needs. I know that I now have a carefully designed, professionally installed, fully insured energy system, that will last years.
The best there is if you thinking of getting a heat pump, battery, solar or all of the above. Did an amazing job converting our 400yr old thatch cottage from an oil boiler to a heat pump with battery and solar on a summerhouse. Bills have been cheaper with the additional comfort of have consistent temperature throughout the home. Heat pump perfectly sized with plumbing upgrades done beautiful resulting in high flow rates and efficiency in excess of 500%. Also amazing after service responding quickly to questions and popping round to fix what turned out to be a non problem with a smoke alarm beeping in a bin next to the heat pump the culprit. Would v highly recommend.
From the very beginning, we felt incredibly privileged to have such a skilled and dedicated team working on our renovation project. Alicia and Will took care of everything, designing and installing a comprehensive, future-proof energy system that has significantly improved our comfort at home while reducing our running costs. Their expertise was evident throughout the process, and their thoughtful planning ensured that every aspect of the installation was tailored to our needs and ready for the future. The attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to quality made the experience both seamless and enjoyable. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their work and the impact it has on their customers. Thanks to them, we now have a modern and efficient energy set up that not only benefits us today but will continue to do so for years to come. I can’t recommend their services highly enough – working with them has been a fantastic experience.
Will and Alicia are expert, capable and efficient. They provide the best advice and service bar none.
Everything you need for solar and heat pumps.
Home Energy Innovation fitted batteries to our existing solar panels and a new car charger, and linked them with a very clever app so everything works together. Very neatly and efficiently installed and commissioned. Lizzie and Will are both very knowledgeable and happy to explain everything about the system. I would thoroughly recommend them.
From start to finish the whole process was meticulously carried out. It was great to employ a local firm to install my solar panels and battery. Will and Alicia you deserve 👏👏👏
An addititonal battery was installed and existing installation commissioned. I was delighted with the very professional service I received and will definitely use this company again. I was kept well informed of progress and the work carrried out was to a high standard.
Excellent small business, hard working, honest and fair quotes. Fully certified and take care to future-proof their installations as well as keeping them as eco-friendly as possible. Neat work with only quality components and a skilled and reliable team of trades backing them up. Highly recommended. (Heat pump heating and water system installation)
I recently had a small solar system installed on my garage by Home Energy Innovation to help cover my home’s baseload, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The team was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain everything, making the whole process easy and stress-free. I love that the panels now generate energy seamlessly in the background without me needing to lift a finger. It’s fantastic knowing I’m reducing my energy costs and doing something sustainable for my home. Highly recommend their services and they are such a lovely people always happy help.

Brilliant service from Alicia and Will. Everything ran to clockwork, and their organisation and attention to detail was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.
Installed an iBoost to divert excess power from my solar panels to my immersion heater. Since then all my hot water has been heated for free and I've turned my gas boiler off. Tidy job for the installation, and speedy response to make adjustments that got it working right. Excellent all round!!
Will, Lizzy and Pete have done a range of different electrical works at our home over the past 2 years - from simple changing of light fittings to complex upgrading of fuse boards to a 3-phase supply and installing a Zappi car charger. All done with knowledge on the latest technology and very high attention to detail. I can't recommend them more highly.
Very easy to recommend Will and his business. Professional, knowledgeable and very tidy. We will be using him again in the future.
