I recently had a solar PV system installed by Devon Electrical Contractors, and I’m absolutely delighted with the result. The quality of the work was first class from start to finish, with everything carried out neatly, efficiently, and to a very high standard. The team paid great attention to detail, and the finished installation was left clean, tidy, and exactly as I’d hoped. John, who was the main contact on the project, was excellent throughout. He was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to deal with, and he made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. His clear communication and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in the team, and I would happily recommend Devon Electrical Contractors to anyone considering a solar installation.
Very friendly and caring in support off our installation
I used Devon Electrical Contractors to install a solar and battery setup at my property. I contacted a few local companies and DEC were the only ones who actually came to my property and listened to my requirements. All others simply did a remote quote and missed half of what I asked for. DEC went above and beyond to design and quote the system for me. I required a G99 application which DEC took care of promptly, meaning I didn't need to wait unnecessarily for the system to be installed. Installation was completed to a high standard and everything looks very tidy and professionally installed. The trades on site were polite and cleaned up after themselves. My system has been in place for several weeks now and is performing exactly as I hoped. If you are looking for a solar installation, I would not hesitate in speaking to Jon and his team.
Looked at many installers, had quotations, seen photos and videos of the work Jon and his team had done, our installation went very smoothly, the guys did a brilliant job from start to finish, very tidy and neat job both inside and outside of the property. Would highly recommend Devon Electrical, you will not be disappointed
I tend to be a little dubious about social media ads but decided to get Jon over for a quote. His quote wasn't the "Cheapest" but it was not far off. What he was though was completely knowledgeable about what he does and talked us through the how, why, what and when. Everything went to plan. The install took a little longer but it was in 33 deg of heat so hardly surprising really. I wouldn't want to be up on a roof in those conditions! The only slight gripe was his installers could have been a bit tidier when they finished. Just a couple of finishing touches were missed. Not enough to not give them 5 Stars. A couple of days later we had an issue with the sytem connecting to the Internet. Jon came over and got it going again. Turns out it was my router that was the problem not his install. The system that is installed now generates enough to give us free electricity and we also export back to the grid at an average of £4 a day ( on top of the free electricity) So in a nutshell. Definitely recommend Jon and Devon Electrical. Top service and very professional.
Absolutely outstanding company. From start to finish Jon was excellent. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and arranged fitting. Keeping me up to date regularly. His team arrived on time and were exceptional. Worked all day and completed the job, clearing up everything. Showed me how to use the app and left after I was comfortable with it. Can’t recommend highly enough. After getting lots of quotes and pushy salesmen from other companies I know we made the right choice. Over the moon. Would endorse all day long. Thanks Jon and the team. Outstanding!!!
Great job of installing a battery. Turned up on time and worked briskly and efficiently to finish and tidy. Excellent customer service with a next day contact call, followed by a personal visit from Jon to fix a minor software issue and explain the system (and patiently answer questions!) very pleased with the advice received ; already seeing a significant difference in grid use .
Excellent Service. I had a solar system installed by John and his team at Devon electrical Contractors. I completed a lot of research and spoke to many companies. Without a doubt John had the best knowledge of all I spoke to and was able to advise to my needs rather then giving me a sales pitch. As John also installs the installation, you know you are getting the best service. The whole team completed an efficient, tidy, installation and went through how to use the system with me. John also handled all the G99 application. I have already recommended John to many other people.
They failed at the first hurdle. Didn’t turn up to quote, and didn’t respond to my follow up text reminding them that they had been expected. Further info: Jon had the decency to get back to me some weeks later to apologise. I had initially give a 1 star rating, now upgraded to 2 star.
Great company, great workmanship, efficient, clean and tidy. Looks great well done 👍
Devon Electrical Contractors installed a 21-panel solar system with battery storage at my home — an 11.5kW setup that has significantly reduced my utility bills. I’m also receiving payments for the electricity I export back to the grid. The installation was carried out neatly and professionally, and the system comes with excellent warranties. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering having solar panels installed.
Jon and his team have just installed a battery storage to our existing solar. The work is very neat and tidy. With the team making sure we were informed of all aspects of the work. I will definitely be using them for any electrical work in the future.
Had an electrical fire service was good and quickly done
Jon and his team are first rate. They did a great job of installing Sunsynk solar panels and battery -efficient and tidy.
Jon and the team did a fantastic job fitting our panels and batteries in some awful weather. It was a pleasure to have them around and I’m delighted with system. He gave great advice and his price was the best. I would be very happy to recommend them.
