Speller's Sparks Ltd

Just a quick line to say a big thank you to Rich for sorting out my existing lighting problem in my Utility along with installing new lights in our Lounge, Office and Bathroom. Rich is very professional and would highly recommend anyone who needs a good reliable Electrician within Midsomer Norton and surrounding area. Thanks Again for the great work. Kevin

I cannot recommend Rich from Spellers Sparks highly enough! From the very beginning, the experience was absolutely top-notch. I reached out to have two Google Nest floodlight security cameras installed, and the level of service we received was exceptional. Richard’s initial response email was incredibly thorough, detailing every single aspect of the quote. He even clearly explained the process for handling any additional issues should they arise, leaving zero ambiguity. His professionalism is excellent. The communication throughout the process was seamless, with helpful, timely notifications via both email and text. Not only was the pricing highly competitive, but Richard also arrived exactly on time and completed the installation so neatly and efficiently. He is incredibly informed, knowledgeable, and clearly takes great pride in his work. Our whole family is very grateful for his brilliant service, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Spellers Sparks again in the future.

Had an EV charger installed by Rich. He did a fantastic job and took the time to do it right. Best communication I've ever had from a tradesperson. Highly recommended

Best communication we have had from any trades person. An amazing booking and quoting system and even a message to say ETA. Work was professional and very clean. We will be using Spellers Sparks again.

Rich arrived on time and did a swift job for me. Was clean and tidy I would highly recommend

Rich fitted an EV charger for us. Turned out to be more complicated than expected but Rich worked through it and found a solution, keeping us informed as things progressed. Thanks

I've had a consumer unit and mains fire alarms installed by Richard. He is professional, flexible and honest. Always discussed the work needed. I would highly recommend him.

Rich is a great professional, and did some fantastic work on our house, which included wiring a new outdoor socket, wiring a new sensor light outside, and fixing our indoor lighting in our hallway. Rich kept me informed every step of the way, letting me know what he was doing, and left a tidy space as well. Extremely professional, and a very friendly electrician. I’d happily have Rich around to complete more electrical work on our house again.

Had a few jobs done by Rich, and always found him very good with communication and done a good job. The fact that I’ve used him a few times goes to show this. We did have him do our pound pump set up and electrics, one of the parts used did end up being faulty after a few months. These things happen and Rich fixed and sorted it out without any questions. Pleased to say there’s no question that he stands by his work.

Richard did a great job at a fair price. Good communication and advice.

For a competitive price Rich provided a 5-star service. Both before and during the job Rich ensured we fully understood what was involved and the cost. It is always reassuring when you feel you can full trust and rely on someone, Rich definitely has that trust

Replacing broken old strip light in kitchen with modern, much brighter one. Good job well done, and everything well explained and advised.

Richard fitted an EV charger as arranged. Talked through the options and did everything he said he would. No hesitation in recommending.

We recently moved into the area and we in desperate need of an electrician. We chose Rich based on the reviews here and we weren't disappointed. We had a consultation appointment the next day after our initial enquiry and Rich talked us through how he could help. He completed the job the following week and kept us in the loop throughout the process....even sending messages to let us know how far away he was from the property which was a great touch. We are really grateful for his help and we'll be returning customers should we need any electrical work in the future.

Excellent service all round. Great communication and very tidy job, fully recommend.

Although we only needed Rich for a small job we found him to be very professional. He was very efficient in communicating with us and arrived promptly on the agreed day to carry out the work.

I have an old cottage , which had been previously done by the engineering owner..which was a pig of a job to do as previous owner did as he thought best🤦🏻‍♀️ Richard was diligent and able to get the bottom of previous owners work and change/bring it up to modern day /legal and certificated electrics for me. Appreciated his patience. Many thanks

I would heartily recommend Rich for all your electrical work. His communications are great always replying promptly to my quote request and various questions. He was on time, very clean and tidied up afterwards. I prefer to use and support local business when I can and Rich fits the bill perfectly. Thank you Terry B

We asked Rich to supply and install an EV charger for us, and are pleased that we chose him rather than other installers. From the outset he kept us informed about when the work would be done and gave detailed costs. We needed about 30m of trench for the cable run and Rich recommended an excellent contractor for this. The installation was done efficiently and neatly, and took into account the age of our house and the conservation area. We recommend him highly and will be happy to use him for any future electrical work,

Rich has wired our kitchen renovation. The work carried out was at top level and we are so happy and pleased. Rich was quick to respond and efficient. Any future electrics will definitely be by Rich!!

I recently bought a workman’s cottage that needed quite a bit of updating. Rich was recommended by word of mouth. I was impressed by his clear communication and fully transparent quote before the work was undertaken. Follow up after the job was prompt for a couple of small details. I have no hesitation in recommending Rich.

Rich was super efficient and completed a top quality job. This is what I'd expect from any tradesman. What makes Rich stand out, is the efficiency and detail of his communication. Everything was spelled out with clear timeframes, quotes and even images of the completed job (it was in the loft). I'd highly recommend Speller's Sparks to anyone looking for an an electrician. He's certainly my go-to sparky!

Rich installed our new electric cooker and was very polite and helpful. I had a lot of questions as as new homeowner but he was extremely friendly and advised me on the job all the way through, answering any questions via email etc. The job altered a bit as it would have been a nightmare to remove the worktop to install an isolation switch above the counter, so advised on an alternate solution which complied with regulations and ended up being cheaper for us, so goes to show he wants what is right for the customer! Would recommend wholeheartedly and will certainly be using Speller's Sparks again soon for some other home improvements we have planned.

Richard came out to assess our smoke detectors as one appeared faulty. He gave us good advice and returned two weeks later to replace both smoke detectors. Punctual, knowledgeable and a very they worker. We would definitely recommend

I had been looking for an electrician for about a year to do a slightly tricky job for me - hanging new light fittings above a stairway and in a double-height hallway. Everyone I spoke to could only see the access problems...Rich had a much more can-do/ problem-solving attitude and finally my new lights are in place!

Ring doorbells installed in our 120 year old house. Hard wired. From initial advice right through to installation the service we received was excellent.... professional, prompt, courteous and great communications all the way. Great care was taken with the installation. I will have no hesitation in asking Speller's Sparks if I have any other electrical work needing doing.

Spellers Sparks installed a new external light for me and did an excellent job. Richard is professional, tidy and courteous. The business system is efficient and response time quick, and I would thoroughly recommend Richard as a trustworthy and thorough person. Will definitely be my go-to with any electrical work.

Found this company whilst using an App called Nextdoor where I had seen a good review about the service. I was in dire need of a few bits doing on my house and from the moment of contact there was a clear communication thread of what I was in need of, what Richard was able to offer and a free quote was booked straight away at a time and date that suited us both. I met Richard and he was polite and respectful of my property and was understanding of the things I needed doing. Within a matter of hours I received a quote and went ahead and booked. On the day that the work was planned to start, he arrived a little later due to another job overrunning but I was kept informed and Richard was apologetic for the unforeseen delay. The works were carried out to full satisfaction and no mess was left as he tidied up after himself. I would happily use this company again if i am in need of an electrical issue. Thank you Richard for your assistance.

He gave a me quote for which we accepted and made an appoint ment to carry out a full check (EICR) of our electric circuits, the following week.
