Current UK Electrical Installations Limited

Excellent service and very prompt, would highly recommend

Matthew, Simon and all the team at Current Electrical were great to work with throughout. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The attention to detail and professionalism was incredible. I look forward to using the team again.

We needed some downlight fittings upgrading and a couple of the lights relocating. It's was a smooth experience right through from the initial engagement (through their webform) to completion of works. Timely communications and an itemised quote was provided. The work was delivered on time as per expectations. I'll certainly be considering Current Electrical for any future works.

Simon & Matt of Current Electrical are highly competent electrical contractors who were careful to discuss our needs on site before helping us install a new power supply and data cable conduit for a future EV charging point, and to choose and install a consumer unit upgrade at our house in west London. All along we were given options with meaningful comments until such time we had decided to commit. Making significant wiring changes will be with you for a decade or more so it is important to make a good decision up front rather than just go for a cheap option. We had other works going on at the time which saved on excavations and decorating required following the electrical upgrades, and Simon arranged to work with and around the other trades. They also were very considerate laying down floor protection where necessary and cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. This was our first time using Current Electrical, based on a third-party recommendation, and are very satisfied with the service provided and the relationship through the whole process. We will contact them first for any future electrical works.

Swift and friendly service from the electrician at Current UK Electrical for a simple bathroom fan replacement job - very happy and will definitely use again.

Carl was absolutely fantastic! He installed some new sockets and moved a pesky smoke detector further back from the oven. He was polite, clean and tidy. Definitely recommend!

good work friendly team clean, efficient and new lighting makes a huge difference & is FAB

Very quick communication and efficient resolution of issues raised in property. Highly recommend

Really efficient and friendly guys. Already used them twice, and we’ll use them again!

Simon first came out to replace an extractor fan. He worked quickly and efficiently and left the bathroom spotless. I then asked him to advise me on my outdoor lighting which had been playing up for a long time. He and his team replaced the lanterns with some much better quality ones and separate sensors which they adjusted perfectly so that they only come on when there is movement within the boundaries of my property. I am very happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Would use again. Since placing this review I needed a damaged light sensor replaced. Well, I can't believe how quickly it was sorted. The sensor was replaced within 3 hours of my phone call - what amazing customer service!

Simon and the Current UK Electrical team have been everything we could have hoped for from an Electrical Engineer when we converted an out building into an Annexe. Costs - No hidden fees, all as quoted and finished on budget. Speed - They were on site and out before we new it, first and second fix all done in a matter of days. Quality - Simon clearly cares a great deal about the finished article, and that is shown on the high level of finish. This ethos has filtered down to the rest if the team. Aftercare - A couple of minor teething problems but Simon was round within 24hrs to take a look. We are extremely happy with the service we received and would highly recommend. Richard & Kelly

Simon and the team at Current UK Electric are super. Professional, knowledgeable, helpful and meticulous. We are indebted to them for advice and electrical services - rewiring half the house (!), installing a new fusebox, managing the fittings for many new lights, and more! Thanks so much also to Carl for lots of hard work and care. Highly recommended.

Matt and his team carried out a variety of jobs during our renovation. The work was completed to an excellent standard. Matt and the team are by far and away the most professional, tidy and quickest electricians I have encountered. The service represented true value for money.

I am a Chartered Electrical Engineer and had a go at sorting our problem myself. I may have caused some confusion with my amateur intervention but this company sorted things out quickly . Very professional, courteous and inspiring that they knew what they were doing. Intermittent faults are always the most difficult but the problem has been solved. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

Fantastic service, and top quality work. Simon and his team have virtually rewired our whole house (it needed it), and it's been a pleasure doing business with them.

Simon came out to fix our domestic electricity at short notice. We were having problems with appliances and plumbing, and going round in circles with different tradesmen. His professional intervention helped us solve our most pressing problem (no electricity) very quickly. I'm happy to recommend Current UK Electrical - clearly someone who can get to the heart of a problem quickly.

Brilliant service. Highly responsive to my initial enquiry and able to complete the project - relocating spotlights and electrical sockets - within a week, to a very high standard and as quoted. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use Current Electrical again.

I can't recommend these guys enough - they stepped in to help me out at short notice with my rental appartment, Super professional, good value, nice team, great outfit all around.

Was great to deal with Simon as he responded to a text, set a time to meet and arrived! Very professional approach. Bonus that he was then able to diagnose the issue with the system and suggest a solution - something that others had been unable to do! Will be using him again.

Simon was excellent. Good communication prior to visit and was in and out in no time doing three separate jobs for me. No hesitation in recommending Current UK Electrical.
