1st class service ,called in on an Friday to see them , window fitted following Monday morning, would highly recommend using VW Specialist ( had been waiting 10 months for a local company to fit me a window after going to see them twice - and they purchase the windows from VW Specialist!!)
Bought windows for my ford transit connect, the knock on trim was to small for the rear windows, I called up and the guy, he said it's the right one, no it's not. Had to spend another £43 on the medium trim. I spent over £1000 pounds on windows and he couldn't even swap the trim.
You have probably worked out that these windows are among the cheapest on the net, so you might think quality or service might suffer; not a bit. Job completed on time, helpfull advice and good customer service and completed job was flawless
We had a set of windows fitted to our crafter van conversion in November, as it was a job during the build we though best left to the experts, they needed the van overnight as we wanted to use the van the next day, and now 6 months later we are still on with the build and everything works OK,
Had a vamoose combi awning rail fitted to my vw t6 camper. Fast appointment given within a week. Friendly staff that were very helpful. Excellent finish to the rail....contours perfectly along the top of the door line....very pleased...definitely recommend having this rail fitted here.
I visited the store. Professional, polite, and knowledgeable staff. If you want the window fitted buy them, you will have to give them notice. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Now, I only have to install the window, but it will be in the sunshine of southern Spain. Wish me luck.!
Having recently bought a VW transporter based campervan I fell foul of the dreaded leaking sliding side windows originally installed by VW. So having searched for replacements with the original green tint I spoke to Lee at Van Windows Direct and after a chat about the options, booked my van in to have their replacements fitted. This involved a 60 odd mile each way trip from my base in Cheshire but it was definitely worth it. Having dropped the camper off around 8.30 I had a wander around Castleford having fuelled up with coffee and a bacon roll at Coffee Boy and returned around 12.30 to collect the camper. The windows are stunning and such a clean, neat, professional job. Well worth the trip and no more leaky windows 5 Star service
Had my windows fitted today in my Ford custom. The service I have received before and during the installation was first class. I was looking for a company to fit widows all round in my van. I was concerned in finding a company that would carry out the work professionally and most importantly, to a high standard. The initial job was well done. The rear driver door glass shattered. Van Window specialist are very hard to contact. Their invoice has no phone number or email address on it. The phone number for them I found on line they do not answer. The email address of the invoice has a no reply address. I would never use them again.

Totally satisfied with this company. Dropped off my Peugeot Boxer L2H2 at 8:30am and went for a nice walk down the Calder to the boat yard at Methley Bridge.Got a cracking coffee and a bacon sarny from Coffee Boy near Digger land. 6 miles later and 3 hours I was back at the unit collecting my van and the workmanship was spot on. Great set of lads.
Extremely happy with the customer service initially and the communication, esp. with my request to change times etc. On the day of my windows being fitted the staff were great. The windows look great too! Got a great discount with the offer advertised at the time. Location easy too - I travelled a long way and it was all convenient, plenty of parking and just a 5-10 walk to local cafe with great options!

Contacted Van Windows after being let down by another company who had sold us a pair of faulty windows. After being offered great advice over the phone we received new windows and had them fit within hours of the initial call! Very helpful, knowledgeable and do really care about their customers! Brilliant service and couldn’t recommend more!
I contacted Van Windows to deal with a window fitting that let me down in my VW t5. Right from the off they knew what they were talking about and offered me an option for a free self fix that may or may not have worked. I went for the professionals which I should have done right away. Great friendly service with a great level of knowledge. Highly recommend them.
Amazing service and fitting. Great communication. Unfortunately due to Covid, there was nowhere to wait the 4 hrs while windows were fitted, but we passed the time. All in all I would definitely recommend them.

The window was fitted promptly when we returned there was a part of the door plastics missing and the lock lever was snapped. The proceeded to patronise and argue with me. Will get the next window done elsewhere. Then when you contact them they raise there voices and put the phone down on you, one of the most unprofessional telephone conversation i have had.

Just had glass fitted to the rear doors of my Transit Connect and I cannot fault the service provided. Staff were extremely efficient and polite, the work was carried out quickly, the finished product was perfect and all at a very competitive price. Had an extra privacy window and a rear privacy window fitted into my Transporter. Quality of workmanship was excellent as was the price.
In 2015 I had a side window fitted to my left hand drive Citroen Jumpy van to make turning left safer. I asked for a fixed non-tinted window but the friendly staff showed me that privacy glass did not compromise the view out but did improve load security. They suggested that a sliding window might improve ventilation in my basic, non air conditioned van. I agreed to these suggestions and although the cost was consequently higher, more than three years later I am so happy that I took their advice. The privacy glass not only improves security but also looks great against the dark blue paintwork. The sliding window has been invaluable on many journeys into Europe, and even, occasionally, in Britain! I would recommend this company to anyone.

We had 4 windows and a skylight vent installed recently. The folks at Van Windows were great! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Jordan was awesome and went the extra mile to unbolt a roof rack and reposition it just right to install the roof vent. The tinted windows with top sliders look fabulous! Thanks guys for a great job all round :)
The windows and fitting are great but buyer beware on the price, they gave me one price over the phone and then when I'd had the job done the owner (Carol) tried to over rule the lady I spoke to on the phone (Amy) when I came to pay and tried to charge me more. I stood my ground and paid what I'd agreed in the first place, despite the situation being both embarrassing and awkward as there were other customers there too.
I had five windows fitted into my Van, excellent professional job and very nice people. Can't fault at all.

Excellent service! I had a fixed near side bonded window fitted to my Mercedes Vito around July 2015 as the company came highly recommended by users of the volkswagen T4 forum. They called me as soon as it was done and the results were brilliant! Very neat work and lots of attention to detail was paid when fitting, they even kept the newly carpeted walls tidy and clean! I've had the window fitted around 6 months now and there are no leaks or defects. Everything looks the same as a factory fitted window. Lovely people too! I'll be back in a few months for a sliding window in the other side. Cheers, James.
