Engineer turned up with a huge attitude towards the work he needed to do

Ben was communicative, trustworthy and efficient in the works carried out for me. He suggested a few alterations to what I had in mind that would reduce cost, improve outcomes and/or leave scope for further works in the future if required. A quote was issued promptly after visiting to look at what was required, and a date set fairly soon afterward. The house was left tidy after he had finished each day, and I was always updated as to what had been done and what the plan was for the next visit along the way Will definitely be using DG Electrical again!

We found Ben around 15 years ago & have continued to use DG electrical's services as we've moved around the area. Regardless of property types, Ben is always able to get the job done, is respectful of your home and is a nice guy! We've recommended him to friends so I'm slightly loathed to recommend him publicly as we don't really want to share him with the masses!!

Ben has done a number of jobs for us over the last few years. Always reliable, professional and reasonably priced. Wouldn't go to anyone else.

Ben, plus new assistant, has done a number of jobs for us including running a power supply to 2 outside sheds, talking me through how I get a new power supply from Western Power to a garage far from the house supply and then installing lighting and power sockets and clearing out old meters and safety devices. All these jobs have been done to an excellent standard and at very reasonable cost. Wouldn't think of using anyone else.

I used Ben's services to have a consumer unit replaced on a rental property following a questionable failed EICR check by another electrician (which coincided with a hiked up bill for the repairs). Ben was the perfect professional and went above and beyond, even having a call with me to go through the EICR even though he didn't even perform the inspection. He then got back to me with a very reasonable quote for the work and completed the work in a timely manner. I will certainly be using Ben for any future electrical works and would highly recommend him to anyone in the Wiltshire area.

He’s carried out various electrical safety checks and upgrades for me including installing a new consumer unit, putting in extra sockets and lights around the house and rewiring a new kitchen. We used Ben for the installation of a new cooker outlet, a new consumer unit in a rental property, and he also repaired an electric shower. Ben has come to our rescue many times over the past 5 years, and I can only sing his praises. Moving into an old, listed house 5 years ago, our electrics took a while to settle down, and although there was always something going wrong, Ben was with us every step of the way. Installed an electric car charger point & updated our electrical system to safely cope. New control box, additional earthing & stop switch. Ben is amazing. I had several issues that I couldnt track and which I was worried about safety wise... fuses blowing, lights going. I asked Ben to fix those issues but also do a full survey of the electrics and make a plan for ensuring the wiring was up to date and safe. He assessed the electrics throughout the house, understood the issues and came up with a simple cost effective plan that was reassuring and within my budget. I am relieved to have found Ben and know that in future I have someone I can rely on for any future issues. I thoroughly recommend.

I first called Ben out when we were having power issues at the church building that was disrupting our alarm system. He fitted us in at short notice, he was able to fault find the issue and resolve it quickly. Since then he has visited us a number of times to remove redundant wiring, install more sockets, replace a consumer unit, wire in a hand wash and carry out a complete fixed wiring test. He was very helpful and reassuring and promised to visit the same day. True to his word he did and sorted the problem very promptly. Delighted with the service from Ben at D G Electrical who responded promptly to an emergency call when we lost power due to a tripping switch in the fuse box. He got the power back on and returned the following day to find and rectify the fault. He kept me fully informed throughout, replaced a cable and showed me the fault. Very competitively priced.
