Fantastic customer service. Arrived the same day as the electrical issue was fairly severe. Lucas quickly identified thr issue and made a quick fix to ensure safety. The job was quickly booked a day later and was completed swiftly in the morning. A brilliant job, completed safely and very professionally. I will be using Jordans in the future.

PLEASE DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE...my partner paid this company to come out then cancelled as not needed ...she paid £154... On canceling the company stated they would take 30%.. however no refund has been given,her number appears to be blocked as unable to get through now!! Not so much a lovely family business sadly ....

I had issues with my electrics and contacted Jordans ..they were very helpful over the phone. I booked an electrician to come out the following day and paid £154 ... The following morning all my electricity was working so I contacted the company before 8am to cancel the electrician who was coming between 3-4pm They took 30% of the payment already made as I didn't cancel before 48 hours(although I only booked 15 hours previously.) Also they only make refunds twice a month so still awaiting my refund ....been 8 days!! So if using this company .. .don't pay in advance! SO - i have contacted the company and alas still no payment is made. from reading other reviews it appears they take your money but not happy to give a refund even if they do help themselves to 30% for no job please do not use this company and if you are DO NOT pay in advance. no answer now to phone calls or emails

Jordans Electrical Ltd came to light after receiving some very high quotes with other companies. The provided quote was BY FAR the best. This coupled with the excellent reviews secured my interest. Right off the bat, the person arranging the booking via email was really prompt, friendly and paid notice to my requests. My job was handled by Rhys, really nice guy and got about his work. He made sure to keep me informed of any potential issues. He got his work done quickly and tidied up after. No complaints and they will get all my future business.

The engineer who attended my property 17 the Grawen went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed, in a safe and highly efficient manner.

Jordan came out this evening at short notice and fixed a wiring issue that if left could have been seriously dangerous. Friendly, professional and prompt. 10/10 service.

I cannot comment on their abilities as electricians as I ended up not needing their services in the end but their conduct as a company has been poor in my experience. Just over a month ago I had an issue with the wiring in my new kitchen when I realised that the metal door handle on my fridge was giving me a tingly feedback sensation when I touched it. After calling around several electricians who all were unavailable for at least 2 days, I found the number for Jordans Electrical on Google. I was desperate, so I called them. The man on the phone (Jordan) was very nice and sorted someone to see me between 4 and 6pm that day. The price was a little steep at almost £200 for an hour of fault finding but, as I said I was desperate. Typically, less than an hour after the call I managed to find the fault myself and fix it. I called them straight away and explained and got the call cancelled hours before the electrician was due to arrive. Jordan explained that they keep 30% of the amount as a deposit. That's a pretty hard pill to swallow: £60 to a company for doing nothing, but I didn't have much choice so I accepted it. Later that day I get an email with a "credit note" for the refund amount. Confused I email back asking how I get my money refunded and confirming that this note isn't just a credit note I can use for future services. I get a very vague and unhelpful reply, something like "Please see attached the credit note for the amount etc.". No clear answer to my actual question. I wait a day. No reply. I wait another day. Still no reply so I call. Jordan again. He says sorry for not replying, he has been busy (that old chestnut) explains that I have to request the refund. I ask how and he says he emailed me an invoice with a link. It's an accounting system they use, or something. Ok, sounds simple. I guess I was being stupid and didn't understand. After work that evening I open the attachment and click the link that takes me to a payment page. Oddly, it seems to say that I am about to PAY them money. So I call Jordan again and after a bit of back and forth he says, almost grudgingly, that I need to email him my bank details to get a refund but he is away from his desk right now so either email them over and he will sort tomorrow or call tomorrow. Why didn't he just say that in the first email? Why didn't he reply that when I asked? Why doesn't it state that in the credit note? Why did he tell me to click a link that clearly was going to take me to a page where I would be paying them MORE money? All very good questions that I am sure Jordan would have great answers for if he actually replied to his emails. If you just employ them to do a job, chances are the electrician will arrive and be a great guy and you won't have issues. But if you DO have issues, don't expect to get a response or get your money back because a month later and I am still owed my money and can't get a reply from Jordans Electricals. EDIT: I emailed Jordans Electricals on the day they replied to this review. They still have not replied or given me my refund of over £160. They have very keen to reply quickly to 1 star reviews but not so much their emails when they owe you money.

2 days after moving in, switching on the oven tripped the electrics. I contacted Jordans and Kye the engineer turned up at 8am the following morning. Kye was polite, cheerful and professional. He found the fault and identified to me the part that was causing the error. I ordered the part and I now have a working oven. Great service Kye and Jordans.

In less than 2 hours I had called Jordans, they sent someone out and fixed the issue within 30mins. Really amazing work and greatly appreciated. We take it for granted everyday

Very quick to install once ordered. Fitters Josh and his apprentice did a great job. I would highly recommend. The only downside is the company is frustrating difficult to get hold of to get an update, requiring repeated calls to finally get through, as there’s no facility to leave a message. Called as an emergency late on 24/09/25 and an engineer arrived early the next day after clarifying if I needed immediate assistance - I didn’t due to the late hour I was able to go to bed. The engineer was polite, courteous and efficient and was able to locate the problem quickly. He also dealt with another electrical issue I had whilst on site - going above and beyond. I would highly recommend these guys.

I have used this company 3 times. They have changed various sockets an light fittings, rewired my garage, completed an electrical safety test, rewired the sockets in my kitchen and fitted a new fuse box. They are very reliable and professional and do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them an I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The electrician came out thismorning and paid over £120 just for him to cut the plugs of to the shed , i phoned in the first place to have the electrics fixed , and in stead he cut of the electric to my dads shed because it was unsafe, i asked if he can fix it and he said no i would need to pay another call out charge and extra for the fittings, i paid over £120 for nothing

A huge thank you to Jordan’s Electrical for coming to our rescue – especially Harrison! We are a small charity based in Pontypridd and have been struggling to find an electrician willing to tackle a light bulb on a very high stairwell ceiling. After trying around 10 different electricians, who either didn't turn up or told us the job was too small but Jordan’s got back to us exactly when they said they would and even managed to fit us in within just 2 days. Harrison was fantastic – professional, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The job was completed to a really high standard, and we felt totally looked after from start to finish. Jordans Electrical recently carried out an electrical safety test for us. Harrison handled the inspection and did an excellent job. A EV charger was fitted by Jordans Electric at my property, I am very pleased with the work that was undertaken which was to a high standard. The communication between the initial survey and installation was very good. Rhys and his mate were friendly, courteous and very tidy in the way they approached and undertook the work. There was a little delay in the issuing of the certificates that were required but this was eventually resolved to my satisfaction. In conclusion, overall I am very satisfied with the service I have received from Jordans.

Jorden electric work is good but be careful when they are doing PAT testing. I was given quotes for £157 plus vat I had to pay another £222 pounds because Their staff came and took testing on retail items like salt lamps and many other items that are on sale!!!

Poor service from Jordon’s. House alarm serviced and new battery installed but still malfunctioned. Further visit did not solve the problems and numerous phone call unanswered after leaving message. I have now had to use another firm as alarm continues to go off for no reason. I am £345 out of pocket and will have to put this down to experience.

I recently purchased a new fitted cooker and hob that Curry's weren't able to fit due to an earth loop issue in my house. I called out Jordans Electrical and one of their electricians (Rhys) came out to perform an EICR check and fit my oven and hob. To my great surprise Rhys found the issue and was able to rectify the same day and fit my oven and hob. Following the EICR check there was some remedial action required and Rhys came back within a few days to carry this out as well. At all times he was professional, courteous and friendly, I'd highly recommend Jordans Electrical to anyone needing any electrical work carried out and will certainly call them back in the future.

Used Jordan in 2019, absolutely brilliant, top guy and service.... Couldn't fault him.. move on to 2025... What a change! Selling house, needed reports but he couldn't provide so had an ECR which Jordan said was no problem... Cost me £641.... Fuming!! A week later I talked to Jordan, was promised a refund which hasn't happened... That was 3 weeks ago.. won't be using again Had to leave 1 star otherwise it won't let me post

Really great job, guy was very good, professional, cheerful and cleaned after himself all through the work. The only thing that let them down a bit, and perhaps I'm being picky is communication could be a bit quicker, that said when communicating they were pleasant and nothing to much. I would use then again.

I had Jordans Electrical rewire my house and honestly, they were brilliant. After I filled in their quick-quote form, they got back to me within a day with a fair, easy-to-understand estimate—no hidden fees or jargon. On day one, the two lads arrived right on the dot, introduced themselves like polite neighbours, and explained exactly what they’d be doing. They stripped out all the old wiring, installed the new sockets and lights, and even tidied up each evening so I could keep renovating without tripping over cables. Was more than happy to sort them out a cup of tea! Everything was spot-on—every socket and switch sat perfectly straight, the consumer unit was labelled so neatly you could eat off it, and they took the time to show me how each circuit worked and ran through all the safety checks. Then they emailed over the digital diagrams and certificates, which had my building inspector absolutely chuffed. Jordan was friendly, down-to-earth, and utterly reliable and the overall expereicne was super positive. If you’re anywhere in South Wales and need a house rewire (or anything electrical), give them a shout. You’ll be in good hands! Thanks Jordan and comapny!

Friendly, professional and efficient. The team worked with us to complete on initial electrical assessment on a property we’re buying and we’ll be having them back to undertake ongoing projects for us. Highly recommended.

I really did try and resolve my issues with the company beforehand, but they've decided to charge over the odds to rectify issues with their own work from months prior, spilling out into a months-long mess where documentation didn't match the work done (including invoices) and agreements with management were broken. The electricians that attended site were polite so I can't fault them in this process. Make sure you get everything in writing before anyone does anything, and keep your own notes rather than trusting the business. They incorrectly filled an NIC certificate, not checking where the rings in the house were wired into. They also put the kitchen and all sockets in the rest of the house on the same under-rated breaker that led to being unable to cook and clean at the same time without tripping the whole house. After being told what the issue was already, they sent 2 separate visits for double the callout fee, for what amounts to moving a single cable between two RCBOs. After several calls with head office and offering to remunerate the electricians fairly for their time, but being shocked at the amount invoiced, I was told that the second invoice was waived. The gentleman on the end of the phone clearly decided I wasn't worth the discussion and wanted me out of his way ASAP. 3 months later they have decided to go back on their word and re-sent the invoice, threatening me with late fees if it wasn't paid immediately. Clear communication from the office could have prevented all of this, but their notes were often incorrect, leaving the staff to work off of incorrect information and cause more friction.

I was very impressed by the guy from Jordan’s Electrical professionalism and skill at finding and fixing the fault in my lights. He was polite and friendly. A little expensive but happy to pay to get it fixed.

Outstanding Service! I had a power outage emergency during the night, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service provided! First things first, the customer service was impeccable. Rhys was extremely attentive and efficient, ensuring my request was quoted and handled asap. The engineer arrived quickly, solving the issue and providing useful information on minor changes and installations that i'm planning for the future

I’ve been in contact with them for a month regarding LED light installation for my flat. During this month, I have sent out over 20 emails, and have gotten only 4 replies, i have called many times but only once got an answer. Their customer service is abysmal and near nonexistent. And when they do respond by some miracle, they’re absolutely clueless as to what is being asked. Customer service is clearly not a concept they’re familiar with. For a task so simple i have waited a month and they are still not even giving me a quotation, when saying they did on an email but haven’t even attached a file, and then when asked about it they respond about whether i’m supplying the lights or wanting them to do so. If you want a company that actually works, this is not the company for you. You would have to chase them around for long periods of time and you would never catch them. Terribly disappointing.

Harrisons second job for us, this time he fitted 12 spotlights in our kitchen, absolutely superb job, all in lovely straight lines and he even filled the exising holes. We are thrilled to bits, would certainly recommend.

We manage the maintenance of our block of flats and occasionally flats have trouble with the door entry system caused by dirty contacts on the button that allows entry. We contacted Jordans to complete the job whereby their electrician reported back that there was no remote entry system installed in the building and they can quote for installation. Either the electrician is extremely incompetent or they were trying to trick us into spending a lot of money. Since then a different electrician attended and cleaned the switch contacts thus returning the system back to full working order.

Great business! Rhys was a guardian angel who rescued our festive season. When the electricity supply went kaput on the night before christmas eve, he went above and beyond to ensure that our christmas wasn't cancelled, which we so appreciated! Just seen Jordan the main man. Came out on the same day, within a couple of hours. He diagnosed the fault promptly and resolved the issue within the hour. It was easy to book an appointment for PAT Testing to take place. However, the electrician turned up 25 minutes after the time I was given, with no apology. The PAT Testing was carried out efficiently.

Had a socket fitted and induction hob plate hardwired (into the same socket) by Jordan's Electrical in April 2024. Yesterday, the socket started to smoke and crackle so the electricity had to be turned off at the mains. Today, another electrician (did not call Jordan's as we have had 2 negative experiences with them, and did not trust that the issue would be dealt with safely) came to inspect and found that the pattress box used to mount the socket was too small. Cables had been forced into a space that was not big enough behind the socket and the connections were loose. This had caused the socket to arc, over heat and start to melt. If we weren't here and this was happening, it would have likely caused a fire. Extremely unhappy with this. Unsafe work is being done. We had another socket fitted in another property that also had to be redone as the socket was fitted unsafely and essentially bodged. 2 different electricians, on 2 separate occasions performed an unsafe and unsuitable installation (of something that should be relatively easy - fitting a new socket face plate is not particularly complex!) I have attached a picture of the back of the socket where it was melting.

this company cost my business money unable to connect a boiler installation or pump without effecting my business . jordan’s electrical were asked to do 2 jobs for us , wire a condensing pump up for a customer in bargoed., failed didn’t work had to go back out as the excuse was the electrician was new ..2nd job in newbridge , wire up a combi boiler , room stat and pump , failed , i specifically asked the engineer to use a junction box , he said hey i done this for years , they had to be called back out boiler not working , i had to meet a different electrician on site , i have photographic evidence of the mess of wiring left by the electrician, jordan’s own electrician said what a mess . they failed to do simple job for a qualified electrician.it took them 3.5 hours to rectify the bad workmanship . i had to cancel my own work to meet them on site , i ll never use them again . cost me a days work on my contract . i asked them to reduce my bill because of the money and time i had lost . they refused , bill was paid in full . don’t make the same mistake as me and use them , it may cost you reputation.

i was in a deep dark situation when my electricity tripped, goosebumps left a trail on my skin as i cautiously treaded down the treacherous staircase to be greeted with a tall figure stood in the distance of my porch. my heart dropped to my feet in seconds unknown of what was going to happen, as i stumbled towards the back door where the creepy figure stood soullessly frantic to reassure that it was locked, it was. i raced to the front door with no time to loose but it was too late there was a ring of my doorbell signalling that someone or something was there waiting for me to answer. i slowly unbolted the door and slide it open, to my amazement the bright logo was just about visible through the thick darkness, jordans electrical was here to guide the light through the vortex. “come in, come in” i insist waving my hand to the space beside me. within a couple of minutes the powers back on and better than ever. the tall creepy figure at my back door was no longer visible as i question to myself was it true or was it just my imagination?

Excellent service. Very personable staff. Incredibly helpful and patient with a challenging property. Cleared up and removed all their rubbish - left the place cleaner than when they started! Would recommend them whole heartedly. Nothing was too much trouble.

I needed ev charging point installed in my property, at first I went to British Gas and had to wait over 2 months till they came in, I got left wirh demaged flooring, no ev charger and I've been told they won't do the job because it's to difficult for them. Then I rang Jordans Electrical Ltd, perfect costumer service (Mr. Rhys), extremely friendly and understanding business owner Mr. Jordan and brilliant engineer Mr. Kay. I had my ev charger installed the very next working day. Only bad point - they are a bit pricey in comparison wirh big suppliers, but - worth every penny. Thank you Mr. Jordan and the Team

The electrical engineer sent by Jordan's Electrical was polite, pleasant and professional and this negative review, in no way blames him - although he did fail to identify a simple solution to the problem. The job involved fitting a new meter box (my idea) as the door hinges were broken. The National Grid was summoned on the second visit as I was informed that the electricity needed to be isolated and, only they could do this. On this visit, the gentleman from the National Grid came up with the solution (not Jordan's Engineer) and fitted a new Over Cover to the existing meter box which eliminated the need for excavation and electrical isolation. Total charge for this 30 minutes of work was £406.73!!!!!!! A ridiculous price set by Jordan's Electrical. I was even charged for two small job visits (@ £50 per visit) even though they did no work on the first visit and promised to discount me for this. Overall, I've had a bad experience from Jordan's Electrical for a job that should have cost about £250. Worse still, I could have done the job myself for the price of the Over Cover (£150) if only I knew about it. The Jordan's Engineer should have known what was needed though. There was no need to summon the National Grid and hence an additional call out charge from them. Unfortunately, I will never employ Jordan's again and you shouldn't either, unless you have money to burn!

Absolutely fantastic service and a real challenging job for Tom… basically rewiring and replacing the fuse box and lighting in my loft and bathroom. The wiring in my loft was in such a state after add ons by different electricians during the last 25 years. I honestly didn’t think it could be sorted without rewiring the whole house, Jordans came to the rescue, sending Tom and his apprentice Josh. Tom really knows his stuff, such a clever, diligent and professional guy, both electricians were a pleasure to have working on this massive challenge. They arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards. I needed to have a new electric shower fitted after my last one broke. I also needed a new fuse box and a wired in smoke alarm as I'm renting out my flat. Jacob was friendly, efficient and kept us in the loop every step of the way as we had no workings electrics in the bathroom. Jordan’s were upfront and transparent with their cost. The electrician, Kai, had a tricky job replacing a heat pump isolator on an outside wall in a very cramped corner. The weather wasn't that bad but wasn't too good either. After he'd finished, the pump didn't start. He spent 5-10 minutes trying to detect the fault before we realised there was an internet outage which was affecting the pump communications centre. Once the internet service was restored, the pump started. We were very impressed with Kai's professionalism, patience and expertise; and his care to ensure that our heating was up and running before he left. Highly recommended. Overall, Jordans have been easy to deal with and we would have no hesitation in going back to them again.

Just a breath of fresh air. UNFORTUNATE UPDATE Beware of their pricing model as after writing this initial review, their original quote tripled in price on their final invoice to over £1000 + vat! I discovered they charge travel time which means the customer has no control over costs. They offer travel logs to try and justify this charging model but the customer is only interested in the time spent at their property, not the time taken to get there. I was willing to go to court to defend my position as I felt very much like being bullied into paying. This lead to several emails back and forth where I responded in detail to their points making a basis of my possible defence as they threatened legal action. They heavily rely on their Terms and Conditions which nobody ever reads. As I explained to Jordan, Terms and Conditions are only enforceable if deemed to be legal and fair in a court of law, they’re not a mechanism to extort money from customers. After a few days, I received a credit note for over £600 but you may not be so lucky. Get a fixed price if using these. End ——— I contacted Jordan’s Electrical to get some isolators added for a new kitchen as I’d been let down by the original firm. They came out the very same day and did a fantastic job. These are not your typical tradespeople - these are very professional, positive, polite. They certainly don’t treat you like they’re doing you a favour for turning up. As I said, a breath of fresh air and I’d recommend them to anybody.

Jordan’s Electrical worked on the rewire of our house in August. Dale, Matt, Kai and Rob who worked on the house were fantastic - they turned up early every day, kept the house clean (as possible!) and left things tidy at the end of everyday. My partner works from home so was in some days and he said they worked solidly from arriving at 8am until 5pm. They were friendly and helpful and always helped us with any questions we had. They were especially careful in ensuring certain aspects of the house we wanted to keep (eg. coving) were kept intact. This was quite a big job but they made the process much easier and less stressful than we were expecting. Before choosing Jordans we were in touch with a number of firms but Jordan talked us through everything and really stood out. We’re really happy that he followed through on everything he said. I've used this business on 3 occasions now and have been mightily impressed. Finding a reliable electrician proved to be incredibly difficult but I am going to praise the 2 electricians who have visited us. First Jacob who fitted a bathroom cord for us which had snapped. Turned up on time and carried out the work efficiently and cleanly. Then Kai who came to sort out a wiring problem and spent most of the afternoon in a dusty loft on one of the hottest days of the year trying to work out where the problem was. Power supply was installed to my detached garage. The work was done quickly and professionally and I am delighted with the results. The electrician Nathan was very polite and cleaned up behind himself. I would recommend Jordan's without hesitation.

Jordan and his team were absolutely brilliant. I came to them after I had a bad experience with rogue tradesmen who installed unsafe wiring in my house. The team very helpfully prioritised my house, pulled everything out and efficiently carried out a safe re-wire. They also provided helpful advice along the way. I can certainly see the difference; in the respectful and positive attitude of the electricians, good quality fit-for-purpose equipment, high standard of workmanship and professionalism. If anyone is concerned Jordan's prices may be slightly higher than others quoted, just remember that you get what you pay for! They were worth every penny because quality and safety is not compromised. All work was photographed and I was updated with extensive reports on the work they carried out. The work is guaranteed. All the electricians were fantastic but Dale in particular was exceptional. Very professional, highly skilled, courteous in his communication, and most importantly he listens. He even went the extra mile and cut some pieces of wood so I could use them as temporary floorboards (the previous rogue tradesmen had smashed up). I really appreciate now having the reassurance that my electrical installation is safe.

Jordans Electricals were recommended by Urban Landscapes who were doing major landscaping work at our house. They were quoting for the outdoor electrical components that we'd considered. Jordan Cruttenden, the MD of the company, is very professional and provided his initial quotation for what I call the "Fully Monty" in outdoor electrics which would have illuminated the garden brilliantly. We decided on a lesser option that was still very effective, and within the budget we'd allocated. The initial work was done in conjunction with the landscaper so that all major electrical trunking was hidden from view. When the landscaping was complete, the different electrical components were connected to the mains supply. To say were are delighted with the result is an understatement!!!! For outdoor electrical work, Jordan is certainly very knowledgeable in the products available and has excellent links with his suppliers. Ashly, who undertook all of the electrical work was also very good and a great ambassador for Jordans electrical. I'd certainly recommend them for electrical work, especially if you're considering outdoor lighting

Jordan and his team provided an exceptional level of service from the instant we contacted them. Not only did they deliver on every thing we asked for the project was treated with so much enthusiasm it turned out a million times better than we ever imagined. We had a power supply installed for the hot tub, with decorative lighting installed on the front and the rear of the property. Whilst here they upgraded our fuse board and added some extra garden lighting. For anyone that hasn’t met Jordan he is the most enthusiastic and friendly person. Seeing how professional he was it was clear they were leaps and bounds above the competition. And for that reason we knew we were in safe hands. I guess the sign of a good trades person is that you can’t even tell they have been there. Our house to be fair was left cleaner than they found it and as you can see from our photos it transformed our property. I cannot recommend them enough they were a dream to deal with and we will most certainly be using them again.
