Helsdown Electrical Contractors Ltd

George and his team did a wonderful job in our Victorian house. Very friendly, professional and trust worthy. No surprises, excellent! Highly recommended.

Excellent service from Helsdown Electrical Contractors Ltd. They installed all the electrics for my office cabin and ran the internet cabling, completing everything in a single day. The work was carried out efficiently, to a high standard, and without any issues. Highly recommended!

Very professional, explained all aspects of the work in detail and answered any questions I had. Tidy, respectful and polite. They were very appreciative of the refreshments I provided and unlike other trades people I have experienced, they did not stand around talking, taking breaks every hour or sat on their phones. All communication before and after the work was timely and helpful. They are not the cheapest electricians out there but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I have not had any faults or issues with any of the work they completed recently or 20 years ago when my first rework was completed by the firm.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I honestly cannot recommend George and his team highly enough. We’ve been using Helsdown Electrical Contractors for the last five months, and the service has been exceptional from start to finish. No matter what job needs doing, they always go above and beyond to get it sorted quickly, professionally, and with absolutely no hassle. Their attention to detail is second to none – everything is completed properly, by the book, with all testing, certification, and paperwork carried out to the highest standard. What really sets George and his team apart is their reliability and communication. They always turn up when they say they will, keep you informed every step of the way, and make the whole process completely stress-free. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they genuinely bend over backwards to help their customers. The workmanship is outstanding, the team is professional and friendly, and the level of service is something that’s becoming increasingly rare these days. If you’re looking for electricians you can trust to do the job right the first time, look no further. Five stars aren’t enough. An absolutely fantastic company and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Having been recommended Helsdown Electrical Contractors Ltd, I can say that I was really impressed with the way the work was carried out. Everything was clearly explained and why it was needed. Also advice on my future kitchen installation requirements which I hadn't considered. I will definitely use this company again. My kitchen fit is now complete and I am extremely pleased with the rest of the electrical work. Every effort was made to protect my new kitchen.

Geoge and his Team have done a lot of work for the company I work for over many years. Always a 5 Star Service from George abd His Team. Would Highly Recommend Helsdown Electrical Contractors.

George was extremely helpful, and correctly diagnosed the problem we had, which a previous contractor had not done. He then went out of his way to fix it.

Helsdown Electrical Contractors Ltd service provided was simply unrivalled. From start to finish, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Communication was clear, the process was efficient, and the attention to detail was second to none. It’s rare to come across a company that combines such high standards with genuine customer focus — truly outstanding! I had a lot of issues with the household electrical maintenance that was previously installed, but Helsdown team did an excellent job of rectifying everything and making sure it was all safe. Their professionalism and attention to detail gave me real peace of mind. A huge thank you to the team for sorting everything out so thoroughly — I truly appreciate the care and effort you put into the work.

George and Tyler have worked so hard the last 3 days to get my bungalow up to the standard it should be. They arrived promptly every day, explain everything to me in a way I could understand! And work very tidily. Much appreciated guys! Will be using you again!

We couldn’t be happier after having Helsdown carry out our EICR on our 1980s-built home. From the moment they arrived, it was obvious we were dealing with a highly experienced, genuinely knowledgeable team. What really set them apart was their ability to translate daunting electrical jargon into clear, everyday language. They walked us through every finding, explained exactly what was urgent and what could wait, and then laid out a sensible, step-by-step roadmap to bring our ageing wiring up to modern safety standards. The crew were punctual, polite, and left the place spotless—no trailing cables or dusty footprints in sight. We’ll definitely be trusting them with the follow-up work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a thorough, trustworthy electrical survey and further work

George and Tyler were excellent. Clean, meticulous in their work and precise about doing it all properly. It may be a silly thing nowadays, but I do appreciate people taking time to think about what they need to do first. Work out the most effective and efficient way of doing a job, rather than rushing. They added a new socket, fixed a botched light installation, put in a new portch light and fixed another socket in the kitchen which was in a really inaccessible place. All with speed and professionalism. Afterwards, they cleaned and tidied away, which gives you an idea of the quality of their work too. I feel confident that the work was of a high standard and feel safe in my home because of what they've done. Will absolutely use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent service. Thoughtful and precise quote. George thought of everything and has excellent attention to detail. Works done accurately and on time. No delays, no price shocks. All round excellence, I highly recommend Helsdown Electrical Contractors.

George @ Helsdown Electrical today did a superb job in removing an EV charger and post going well beyond expectation in every way. He quoted a fair price for a job which it turned out was far more demanding than expected. Communication prior to the work, across email and sms, was excellent with frequent reminders. George turned up on time, was professional and friendly and committed to getting the job done in a safe manner. Others would have given up given the size of concrete block that the post had been set in but George demonstrated considerabe tenacity and patience as the task went on beyond dusk. In short he wasn't going to be defeated! Tidying up was efficient and quick. All in all as a tradesman he was a pleasure to do business with and I'm happy to recommend him. He's built his business from scratch and he's clearly very competent.

Tyler was first class and completed the work very efficiently and I can thoroughly recommend him.

George and Tyler did an excellent job at replacing our consumer unit and making our old home safe. They were very considerate of my time and the quality of the finished work.

Very impressed with the service I received. Have had an ongoing electrical fault. When I contacted Helsdown, they clearly communicated what they would do and the costs involved. George arrived and quickly identified and remedied the fault, he also repaired a broken socket and gave some advice on testing. Work was very clean, tidy and efficient. I have rebooked them to do some further work after receiving another clear and informative quote.

Excellent work and a very courteous service always going the extra mile to keep us informed, advising the best options, and explaining all the work upfront and after. Would strongly recommend George and his wonderful team.

George, Dave and Tyler were involved in the process from the beginning and explained what was needed and the costs. The first day was for electrical testing and fitting a new timer and thermostat. The second and third days were remedial work to obtain an electrical installation certificate. There was a problem with the timer due to the old gravity fed heating system that I have but the problem was explained and a solution found for the problem. All were easy to talk to, polite and helpful.

We asked Helsdown Electrical Contractors to carry out an EIHC and subsequently took them up on their quote to fix the issues identified. The work was completed to a very high standard by George, Tyler and Dave, all of whom demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication. Any questions we had were answered with patience and clarity. At every stage our options were clearly laid out and they took care to ensure we would be happy with the final result. I would strongly recommend them.

Love my new lights. Very friendly, tidy and prompt. Everything was well explained and the lights have made such a difference to my house!!

We have used Helsdown Electrical Contractors several times and their service is always the same. They are extremely reliable and professional and always on time. They provide all necessary paperwork for the work carried out. Definitely recommend.

Installation of shower in an outbuilding, prompt service, polite, tidy and great job. Also security cameras working brilliantly that you installed a few months ago, very pleased with them, feel safe in my home.

Great company. These guys really know their stuff and they had 2 apprentices on site which is great to see and sharing their wealth of knowledge. Would definitely recommend them no matter what the electrical requirement you might have.
