Legend of a man. I cried for help and Mark walked me through what is now a very simple process that I over complicated and nearly blew my house up. Thank you mark for you skills, patience and support. Definitely recommend this man.

I contacted Mark as I had an emergency situation in my work place. As soon as he realised the person that I support was vulnerable he went out of his way to help. He sorted the problem out within a couple of hours on the day I contacted him. He was so efficient and thorough that he came back a few weeks later to fit a new fuse box. I would strongly recommend him as he was so accommodating. Once he completed the work he has carried out safety checks and informed me about the new system.

I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Terrible experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. My advice If you do use Mark for anything, keep good records and get everything in writing. Do not leave him alone in your home, do not pay him for anything you haven't seen and find a suitable professional to check what's up to code afterwards. Update: Thanks for the quick response, I'm not saying a thing about other reviews, Im glad you don't make a habit of this sort of conduct. Called him out as the oven was tripping the electric into the house. Was incredibly helpful and explained everything he was doing and sorted the issue out in no time. Would recommend.

I called Fuse Electrical Services after my bathroom light tripped a fuse. After a brief inspection Mr Hardacre stated that the issue was with the main fuse box, and that it needed replacing at a cost of £550. Shortly after starting work he said he had to go out and get another part, which would cost a further £70. On return he sat in his van chatting on his phone for approx 15 minutes. A short while after returning to my property he told me all was fixed & promptly left. I tried the bathroom light, it tripped a fuse! He couldn’t have been more than 500m away from my property by the time I spoke to him on the phone. His reply to my request for him to return: “I can do though it will have to be classed as a new job” (call out fee etc). I told him that this wasn’t acceptable. And for him to just send his receipt & all relevant paperwork, for the work he had carried out. I employed another electrician soon after to fix what turned out to be a loose wire in the bathroom light. At a cost of £45. It took me a further 10 months to receive a copy of the BS7671 electrical safety form. By this time I was in the process of selling my property. Mr Hardacre continually stated that I didn’t need one. And that I didn’t know what I was taking about. Having already mocked my request for the fuse box instructions. Even though it clearly stated on it that they should be left with it, as the previous ones had been. Despite the childish threats left on my partners voicemail. And text messages to me trying to bluff his way out. The penny eventually dropped that I had done my research and spoken to the ECA they clearly stated that it was an electricians legal obligation to provide the certificate. Mr Hardacre’s tone became less confrontational and more pleading just prior to me receiving the form. Dated on the day I received it, a mere 297 days over the 28 day notification limit. I can only assume that because I paid cash, the work he did was not put through the books. Adding to his reluctance to provide formal evidence of his work. I can now see why Checkatrade did not think his company suitable for their website.

Arrived on time (at my convenience); did everything I needed and solved a few problems too; also advised me on some other jobs i need/want doing: nothing too much trouble.

Mark is a really nice guy, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended, I wouldnt use anyone else

Mark was excellent in carrying out this job for my Mum. Friendly and professional he responded really quickly and did the job the same day. Also dealt really well with a few other jobs round the house which got sprung on him once he was there and was very accommodating. Did such a good job my mum has asked him to do future work. I had work done by Mark on a personal rural property with difficult access (nothing to do with the Parish). The service was top notch. He responded quickly, was punctual, courteous, friendly and knowledgable. He had to make several visits but was not deterred by the access problems. Poor communication, left wire clippings all over the property, the initial problem did not get resolved. Unreliable, waited all day and at 5pm text to say wasn't coming! A second electrician charged half the price and solved the issue in less time.

Brilliant service from start to finish , responded to the job ad within 20 minutes of posting, went above and beyond with installing new sockets and putting wires behind a wall to mount my tv, even helped me with the plastering and putting the mount on itself, learnt a lot from watching Mark work! Would hire again if in any need of more electrical work!

Mark responded within minutes of posting my job. He was polite and able to provide his service in a really prompt time. The job was completed to an excellent standard and he tidied up after himself. Very professional.

Very pleased with the excellent service from Mark. I asked him to fix a light in my kitchen, install a shaver socket and fix the extractor fan in my bathroom. All jobs have been completed to a very high standard and at a good price. Mark is very friendly and I would highly recommend him.

Would not trust this workman to do a job for me, anyone else or company. Let the company know he had completed 2 jobs but in actual fact had not completed. We paid him in good faith. After complaints from our customers, could we get him to return and complete his work, no! And now he has tried to sabotage the company I work for and speaking ill of the workmen who are out there weekly away from family. People like this should not be trusted. STAY AWAY. To this day he still has not completed the two jobs that he got paid for and were left unfinished.

Awful service, avoid. Now refusing to pay back money owed for work not complete.
