CPW Electrical Ltd

I’m giving one star because I couldn’t choose zero stars. Had Chris from CPW electrical come and look at a job in St Helens, he gave a quote which I was happy with and gave him the go ahead, after paying about 40% deposit he done a few days running wires and putting in back boxes, he then mentioned he had a trip planned to go to America, which I was ok with as wasn’t in a rush. When he got back from his trip he asked for more money as he spent all his money on holiday and stupidly I gave him about another 40%, he done few days and then just stoped coming, I kept texting him and was always promised he would come and finish but this never happened, in the end I said I’ll get some one else to finish as now i need this finished and couldn’t rely on him. I have given him every chance to come and finish but he never shows. I have now had a quote from a professional company and now it’s going to cost me another £880 to get this original job done. Chris left the property unsafe and only one room with electrics. I have asked for money back from Chris but now just ignores me, sadly he came recommended by a family member who is friends with Chris, I just wonder if he is doing this to me how is he treating others ( I dread to think). This will probably never get sorted but hopefully this review will save someone else from being conned / robbed.
