Reviewers say Alan at ALT Electrical Ltd carried out jobs such as rewiring, fuse box replacement, extra sockets, lighting, kitchen appliance fitting and fault finding. Multiple reviewers describe him as professional, and several say his work was thorough and to a high standard. Some reviewers call him tidy, punctual and polite, and several say he explained the work clearly. Recurring praise also covers his communication and reliability, and he is often said to be worth recommending. One reviewer said ALT Electrical Ltd traced and fixed a heater socket fault that others had failed to fix, and another said a water leak led to a new cable being fitted after earlier fault finding.
An electrician of exceptional standard. I rang Alan to enquire about installing new light fittings and for help regarding a fault with a heater socket that had been a problem on/off for years. Not only do my new lights look amazing, but Alan found and fixed the fault with the socket after thoroughly investigating the possible cause. Something which several previous people had failed to do. I was very impressed by his attention to detail and the fact he was able to finally help me understand exactly what had been wrong, leaving me with a peace of mind that I'd not had in a very long time. He arrived bang on the time he said he would, was friendly & polite, explained everything in an easy to understand way and was very conscientious with things like keeping all the little bits of wires and stuff in a neat little pile. He then topped off the five star service by clearing up afterwards despite my insistence on leaving it for me to do, and giving me a bill that was a lot less than I would've expected it to be. I cannot recommend Alan at ALT Electrical enough. I only wish I'd found him sooner.
Alan did a great job of rewiring our house. He explained everything that he was doing and why. A very professional job from a great guy. Would definitely recommend him!
Used Alan on a few occasions now for electrical checks, New consumer unit and a new power supply to a garden workshop. Alan is a hard worker and the price is reasonable for the work that was done. I was highly recommend Alan.

Excellent service from Alan. He is reliable, concientious and very thorough. I would highly recommend his services. You will not find a better electrician.
Really pleased with the whole service from Alan from start to finish. Really clear pricing with breakdown and what would be happening each day throughout the re-wire. Good communication and worked with us to suit our timeframe. Highly recommend and will be my first choice for any further electrical work needed.
Extremely happy with work completed in our home. Alan is efficient and professional and he gave a thorough explaination of what he needed to do before going ahead. Would highly recommend Alan and we definitely will use his services again in the future.
Alan was very professional and thorough. We were given a clear, quote for the work upfront and when issues were found outside of the scope of the original work we were given further options and quotes on how to proceed. All of the time he was working at the house he didn't take a break. I would highly recommend ALT Electrical.
Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable and efficient electrical work. We recently used ALT Electrical to replace our fuse box, add and sink sockets, and carry out a full electrical test. Service was speedy, professional, and completed to a very high standard.
We moved into a new house at the very end of January, and Alan had helped us from the very beginning as we had many faults with the electrics from the get go. He has been patient and has worked with us. He carried out a safety inspection and then gave us a breakdown on everything that needed work. He explained everything well and made sure we understood what he needed to do - making the house a safer place to be in. He is tidy and efficient and has good time keeping. He has made adaptions such as putting in wireless light switches. He has also helped with the kitchen, installing the oven, lights and plug sockets and has just been such a great help with this house we’re in. We will contact him again if we need him for other jobs.
Very happy with all electrical work done on three occasions. Very professional service; fair and reasonable estimates/costs for work; polite and respectful of home. Would highly recommend.

We are in Hebburn and were fortunate to get great service from Alan: Quick to come round, top quality, efficient work and hassle free. Very happy to recommend.
Alan has carried out numerous electrical projects for me over the last 18 months. Very reliable, knowledgeable and tidy. My first choice electrician. Would highly recommend.
Alan first came to my house to fit a new fuse box which was done with no problems and in a very professional manner. He has been back three times more to fix my electrics when the flat above mine had two water leaks which caused damage to my electrics and once to trace a fault which had left me with no power and resulted in a new cable needing to be replaced. I have found Alan to be very professional, friendly and very good at his job and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone needing electrical work done.
ALT Electrical rewired bedroom lighting, installed smart switch LED spotlights and added additional sockets and wall lighting to a high standard. Very tidy and great communication throughout , would highly recommend, thanks again!

His prices for the work carried out was the best value in Newcastle and he was very professional, arrived on time , provided some of the items needed to repair the electrical faults which was filtered into his price, his attention to detail was excellent and his an honest guy . My colleagues at work has also used Alan to conduct work at their properties and agreed that his work was of excellent quality and great value for money . It is very rare to find a good electrician that charges excellent rates for the jobs . He comes highly recommended and I will urge anyone out there is use ALT electrical.
