Derek Burnside Ltd customers describe prompt, professional service, with one reviewer saying an electrician arrived on time and did the work quickly. Two reviewers mention CCTV installation and were pleased with the service and support. One reviewer praises the company for electrical work over time. Another reports problems with three jobs: a light switch was fixed, a flickering light was not, and a doorbell fitting was made worse; they say they chased twice to have the mess put right and gave up.
Well what a pleasant surprise. When I rang the office, I was told someone would be with me the following week. True to their word, an electrician called me and arranged a day and time that he would be with me. He turned up on time and the work was done quickly and without fuss. Very pleased and I will use this company again.
I recently wanted CCTV installed at home. From the initial contact, through installation and support afterwards the service was prompt and faultless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Derek and the team to anyone for any job, big or small. Much appreciated as always!
This company have always provided me with 1st class service and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I always contact them if I need electrical work carried out because I know I can trust them to do a good job.
Gave these guys 3 jobs to do, fit a push-press for a battery doorbell, replace a light-switch that was feeling warm when used and fix a light that flickered. they got 1 job right (the light switch) didn't fix one (replaced the switch when it was actually a faulty pull-cord and made one job worse (assumed mains supply for doorbell without checking and fitted a backlit push button that flattens the battery) chased them to fix their mess twice then gave up. DO NOT RECOMMEND ! [Edit] In response to your reply, the final time I tried to get the work done correctly I drove round to your unit off Woodside road and spoke to the person manning the office where I paid the invoice in good faith. I received a call several days later promising me a time the work would finally be carried out correctly and no one turned up on that date.
Highly recommend, professional and reliable service. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again!
Derek supplied and installed CCTV cameras , additional sockets and maintenance to my salon - brilliant service and would highly recommend!!
