Reviews

4.9

Most reviewers describe AcuCert Limited T/A AcuCert Electrical as professional, friendly and polite, with clear communication from first contact to completion. Several say the team arrived when expected, worked efficiently and left the property clean and tidy, removing packaging and debris. Many mention punctuality, helpful staff and a high standard of finished work. A few received useful advice or had questions answered. One reviewer had a poor installation of a fuse board and EV charger, reporting incorrect labelling, a loose earth connection, errors in the electrical certificate, delays in certification and low quality parts. Another reported unsafe workmanship at the Brighton branch: debris left in the garage, an exposed outlet, a poorly fitted oven and a gas supply line that could not be capped off, with the customer saying they were blamed for not assuming this. A third described unresolved problems, dismissive and slow aftercare and feeling misled, though some issues were later fixed with outside support.

After some minor issues with timings of the engineers visit the service I received was great. Ash was very professional, adaptable, knowledgeable and I was delighted with the outcome. Would recommend.

Great service, fairly priced, and the great bonus of peace of mind for an EICR as landlords there are so many pressures thank you 😊

I wouldn't recommend AccuCert based on my experience. We hired them to replace our fuse board and install a new EV charger. Given the amount we paid, I expected a high standard of workmanship, but unfortunately the quality of the installation was poor. The EV charger consumer unit wasn't labelled correctly, the new fuse board wasn't labelled correctly either, and the main earth connection was left loose rather than being properly secured. These are basic details that should have been right first time. The paperwork was just as disappointing. It has now been around six weeks since the installation, and I'm still waiting for the correct certification. The original Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) contained multiple errors and had to be reissued. I also had to chase them for both the EIC relating to the fuse board and the Building Regulations Part P certificate. To make matters worse, they had to return six weeks later to take more photos of the fuse board because they hadn't gathered the correct information during the original visit. Overall, this was an expensive installation that was let down by poor workmanship, inaccurate documentation, delays in certification, and the use of low quality parts. Based on my experience, I wouldn't use AccuCert again or recommend them to others.

AcuCert is my ‘go to’ electrician. They are easy to book and reliable time keepers. Their engineers are well presented, friendly and professional. The work is done cleanly and efficiently, everything tested before leaving making sure I’m happy. On this occasion I just had a switch replaced but the service is always the same, big or small job. I am happy to recommend.
